Homemade S’mores Ice Cream

smores-ice-cream-3

Yesterday I shared a fun recipe for S’mores ice cream over on the sweet Eighteen25 blog. I am absolutely in love with this simple, no-machine-required homemade ice cream recipe. All you need are two ingredients for your ice cream base, then whatever flavors and toppings you can dream up! So fun and easy, and perfect for these hot summer months.

Scoop s’mores ice cream between two graham crackers for S’mores Ice Cream Bars. Delish!

Here’s the link to my S’mores Ice Cream post over on Eighteen25.

And here’s the link to my original, no-machine-required homemade ice cream recipe, with lots of ideas for fun flavor combinations. There are tons more ideas from you guys in the comments, I love reading what ya’ll come up with! I have tried way too many of them.

Have a great weekend!

Well I make my smores with nutella (cinnamon graham crackers, nutella and marshmallow fluff if no campire is roaring) so I know nutella will make its way in that bad boy! :-)

Amanda, you’re killing me over here! I’m trying to run and cut back the calories, but the ice cream, oh this ice cream, is killing me! I tried Nutella with Heath bars over the 4th. I left that evil concoction at my parents’ house so I wouldn’t eat any more than a serving. Now s’mores…

Send help.

That is such a cute idea!! At first I thought it was just going to be s’mores flavored ice cream…but putting a twist on an ice cream sandwich/s’more sounds sooo delicious.

I have seen your other ice cream recipes and they all are right up my alley. I do have a question tho, I recently recieved the ice cream attachment for my kitchenaid and love using it. With this recipe, even though I don’t need to use the churner, would it affect it poorly if I did?

I made it the other night with strawberries, banana, and white chocolate. It was amazing! The condensed milk did something magical to the banana and white chocolate combination… I was going to blog it but then I ate it all! ;)

I made a cupcake version of this yesterday and my hubby is nuts about it, I just added 3/4 of a bottle of the smucker’s magic shell cupcake flavor, and added some nonperils as well. absolutely amazing

This looks incredibly dangerous. I’m afraid to even attempt making this, for fear I’ll never eat anything else, ever again. :)

Hey Amanda :)
I just found your blog the other day, and I love it! But I have a question, do you think I’ll be able to whisk the cream like that or can i only be that way with a machine? Thank you :)

Amanda July 18, 2011 at 12:19 pm

You probably could, but your arm would get very, very tired!! :) I would do it with an electric mixer, either a stand mixer or a hand-held mixer is fine :)

Christie July 18, 2011 at 8:17 pm

I attempted to make the nutella / pb chips no churn ice cream and it didn’t freeze up very well – it was a like pudding. What did I do wrong? I used a hand mixer instead of the stand mixer – would that make a difference? I’m positive it’s user error.

Never mind.. it just needed a couple more hours of freezer time. It turned out great. We’ll definitely be making more!

S’mores are already a fav in our house, add “ice cream” at the end of it and I think the whole neighborhood will be showing up at my door step! Yum!

I made this last night and I can’t believe how yummy it tasted even before it went in the freezer. I made a few other varieties earlier this month and am still amazed at how easy it is to make ice cream without a machine. Thanks so much for sharing these recipes!
