These gooey, cheesy, crispy cups will make any dinner fun!
How to Make Spicy Italian Ham & Cheese Cups
Here’s all you need: ham, salami, shredded cheese (I used pepper jack for a little extra kick!), a diced red bell pepper (I love using the frozen bell pepper blend. I can always keep it on hand and it’s already diced up for me!), scallions, and wonton wrappers.
First, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium high heat.
Add the bell pepper and season with salt and pepper.
Cook until slightly blackened and remove to a plate.
Next, grab a standard sized muffin tin and coat generously with nonstick cooking spray. Line each cup with a wonton wrapper.
Add a thin slice of ham…Â I used a rosemary parmesan ham I found in the deli section of my grocery store.
Then a slice of salami… You may need to fold it over to get it to fit! :)
Then top with shredded cheese.
Add another wonton wrapper and evenly distribute the bell peppers.
Top with a little more cheese and scallions…
And bake at 375 degrees F for 11-13 minutes until cups are heated through and edges are golden.
Hot, crispy, gooey, and cheesy!
Layers of goodness in every bite. Hope you enjoy!! :)

do you think i can use fillo dough instead of wonton wrappers which i can’t find?
Are the amount of calories per cup? Just curious. Sounds delicious and would love to make.
Beautiful! I love anything Italian and this would be fantastic as someone present. Love the addition of Spicy Hams. Yum!
This is bad, so so very bad. My entire family, and I mean big, little, tall, short, skinny and not so much gobbled these up fast as lightning. When I went to eat the very last one, they called me names! So, Amanda, it’s all your fault that I am Naughty Mommy!
What a fun and delicious appetizer!
These look delicious. They also look quick and easy, which is perfect for when people are coming over. I’m going to pin it so I can come back to it later. ?
Can the recipes made with the won tons be frozen after they are cooked? Just curious if you have done this.. Thanks
These are AMAZING!!!!! Will be making often in my house. I added a homegrown jalapeno to the bell pepper and all I can say is WOW. Wonderful recipe. Thanks for sharing!!!
