If I could go anywhere in America, where would I go? I have fallen in love with Chicago and would love to go back. I finally got to Maine this summer and loved that. I have never been to Idaho and have read that it is beautiful there. There is so much to see and appreciate in America…I have found something of interest in every single town and city I have visited in this country. I have not been in the eastern US or central US much and would most likely pick somewhere in that area to visit, if given a choice of where to go in America.

  348. Jeannette P

We want to visit Washington D.C. and a trip to DisneyWorld/Epcot would be totally awesome too. I could totally use some cookies for Christmas. My dh works for UPS & during ‘peak season’ he’s gone at least 12 hours a day & usually more, especially the last week before Christmas. I spend the month of Dec trying to keep things as ‘normal’ for our 3 kids as possible, since they don’t get to spend much time with Dad. Holding the fort down & decorating & doing our usual holiday traditions keep me really busy so I don’t get to bake cookies like I wish I could so this would be a fantastic blessing!

  349. Becca

  371. jacque

I would choose the Isle of Palms, SC. My hubby took me there on a surprise honeymoon ten years and it was heavenly! I would love to be able to go again!

Also, traveling somewhere WARM sounds so appealing right now when our temps have been hovering in the teens!

Definitely Washington to visit my “uncle” whom we haven’t seen in years.

What a GREAT giveaway!!! Thanks for the chance to win!
What a hard choice though. If I were to take just my husband somewhere it would be Vegas. We have only been there once, but enjoyed all the different shows and such.

If we were to go somewhere with the whole family (all 5 of us), it would be Southern California. We have a lot of family and friends that we haven’t seen in years and years (plus I my kids would love to go to DisneyLand).

  405. Angela

There are so many places I’d love to see in the United States, it’s hard to pick just one. I’d love to return to New Orleans, but would also like to go to NYC.

  418. Danielle

What a great contest idea. I’ve always wanted to travel a lot, but haven’t gotten to do that. Visiting every state would be fun but if i had to pick one place, it would be very nice to visit Florida. I haven’t had the chance to do that yet.

  419. Joni

  432. kathy larson rogers

    Hi Keven and Amanda,

Love your site and reading about all the fun you guys have traveling. I would want to go back to Jackson Hole. My husband and I had a love affair with Jackson hole. It is in my mind, the perfect little place. We ate breakfast there once off a chuck wagon and the smell of the coffee, bacon and biscuits and the wood camp fire burning in the crisp air coming off the tetons was amazing. I know, silly to remember a breakfast…but, that stuck with me always. I love the pace there and the wonderful people that live there. My husband is gone now, but it so brings back memories. I choose Jackson Hole!
    Thanks, Kathy

  433. Monica

If I could go anywhere in America I would go home to Chicago. (I recently moved to Ireland.) O. M. G. A suitcase full of cookies?! :D!!! Thanks for the contest Amanda! :D

I would love to visit NYC during the holiday season to see the city all decked out! Thanks for the fun contest!

  448. Cindi

I would love to visit Vegas; but not for the reason you would think. My whole childhood my dad, mom and grandmother would visit Vegas several times a year. My dad passed away when I was 18 and my grandmother passed away a couple of years later so I never got the chance to find out, through their eyes, what they loved so much about going there.

  449. Laurie

There are two places I would like to go in the US.

1 – I haven’t seen my great-grandmother since ’92 (we left Florida the night before Hurricane Andrew hit), and she’s getting up there in age. I would love for her to meet her great-great-grandchildren before she passes. She’s down in Bonita Springs FL (I am afraid I spelled that one)

2 – The other place I would like to travel is Ticonderoga New York. My husband’s grandfather died last year between Christmas and New Years. This year, his grandmother is once again battling her stage 4 bone cancer (She had gone into remission little over a year ago. Its back). We’d like her to see the children one more time before she passes on as well.

So, there you go, my two places I would like to go.

  450. Sharron Rudnik

Mackinac Island, MI !!!!Beautiful lilacs in the summer, horse drawn carriages and FUDGE! No phones! What more could you ask for?

  457. Candace Mitchell

If I could go anywhere in America, I would go to California. I’d just love to go see all the major cities there. I live in the South and haven’t traveled much, so that would be a lot of fun!

  458. Jenn W

I’d be going to New York right now if I could, that’s where our family is and it’s hard not being home this time of year.

  459. Jo-Anne Jackson

I am posting more for good thoughts and prayers than I am to win. My husband was going to surprise me and my daughter with a cruise in April as a Christmas gift (we’ve never had a family vacation and she is 15 yrs old).

However, before that could happen, we found out that my father has Cancer. So my sweet daughter said, I don’t care if we never go on another vacation—I just want to go see Pop-Pop. So…we’re flying to my parents house in about a week and the cruise will no longer be possible.

Please send good thoughts and prayers my father’s way.

    Thanks!

    Jo-Anne

  460. Jennifer D'Arrigo

I am a LA native and fell completely in love with New York, but only had one day there. I need to be taken back, the sights, the sounds. Alicia Keys says it best “These streets will make you feel brand new. Big lights will inspire you”

  461. Natalie

A suitcase filled with cookies?!? This may be the best giveaway ever! I LOVE Pepperidge Farm cookies, especially Sausalito’s! YUMMY!

  462. Andrea Thompsin

That is a tough one. I love to travel and to choose just one destination is difficult. I would love to go home to my family in Texas. Then again I am a closet New Yorker. I have never been to New York. I am too scared that I would get lost, or worse… but I hope to conquer my fear one day.

  463. Cheryl Newton

Either the Mall of America (after we’ve gotten our tax return!) or Alaska. Either way, it’d have to be for a good week.

  464. Sarah

I would pick ALASKA! Not only is it the biggest state, but I would love to adventure alaskan nature and the glaciers, which I’ve heard are one of the most spectacular and breathtaking things in the world.

    2. Derek

If I could go anywhere in America I would go to Olympic National Park in Washington because it is the only non-tropical rain forest! It just looks so beautiful and awe inspiring! I would love nothing more than to go there and revel in the tremendous beauty this earth has given us here in our country!
