Shrimp and Grits

Shrimp and Grits Recipe

Hi friends! Hope you are having a great week. Here’s the Shrimp and Grits recipe I promised you on Monday. We love shrimp and grits. They’re spicy, cheesy, and loaded with delicious bacon flavor. Cook the bacon ahead of time to put this on the plate in 15 minutes or less. A wonderful quick and easy weeknight meal!

Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!

We love Shrimp and Grits. It’s a staple around these parts. My recipe is a little different. I’ll have to give yours a try!

Shrimp and Grits is a dish I’ve grown to love. I’ve never had it with bacon before so I’m going to have to try that!

Looks good! I was just blogging about a recipe and was looking for a good “What’s Cookin’ Wednesday” linky to link up with. Why don’t you start one? You could feature a new recipe from your 6 weeks of ideas each Wednesday and others could link up recipe ideas? Let me know – I’d love to join in and get ideas from others, and I LOVE your recipe ideas!

I love shrimp and grits! My hubby doesn’t like grits so we rarely have it, but I should totally make it for myself for lunch this week. Thanks for the inspiration! :-)

Oh, I so so so so so miss having this dish. I suddenly developed a shellfish allergy in my late 20′s. Hopefully I can make some of your other dishes coming up. You’ve inspired me to try my own hand at food photography. I’ve used your blog design and photography tutorials already in developing my new (and old) blogs. Thanks for the great tips!

Hi Kevin and Amanda! You must have been reading my mind with this post. As a northern gal (Minnesota) I’ve never tried any sort of grits. Just yesterday on the food network, I watched a whole segment on Shrimp and Grits and, man, it got my mouth watering. Your post remided me how much I want to give this a try. Looks yummy! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

This was delicious! My husband is a southern boy but we are stuck in Utah for now and I don’t know much about southern food. We had this for dinner tonight. It was great and full of amazing flavors! Thanks for sharing!

I think I need help! I’m hoping to make this on Sunday, but no matter what I click on I’m just taken back to the post and I can’t get to the actually recipe. It looks beautiful and delicious! What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
