This weekend was Miley’s first agility trial since she earned her MACH title in Nashville a few weeks ago. It’s customary for the newly crowned champion to have a party in their honor, complete with a MACH cake and all. Since this trial was in our hometown with all of Miley and Kevin’s agility friends, it was the perfect place for a party.
I headed straight over to The Tomkat Studio for party table inspiration. Such a fun blog! She’s got tons of ideas. Here’s how Miley’s setup turned out.
I used the Silhouette to make her MACH banner.
And printed out some custom water-bottle labels.
This is an actual silhouette of Miley, made from a photo of her jumping through a tire during an agility trial.
Since everyone’s running around all day, I tried to keep the menu light and fresh. Here we have Tortilla Club Pinwheels.
These fruit kabobs were the hit of the party! They flew off the plate like popsicles. I don’t think I can ever throw another party without making these again!
Everyone loved the sweet and salty combo of Picky Palate’s White Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Cookies.
The Mighty Meaty Nacho Dip was another hit. Always a favorite!
There were even Milkbones for all the puppies that stopped by.
It wouldn’t be a party without cake! Here’s Miley’s MACH cake. It reads “Congratulations MACH Miley & Kevin!” Half the cake was chocolate and the other half was vanilla.
We set the MACH bar trophy on the table for all the guests to sign.
And had her MACH video playing on a loop on Kevin’s Galaxy Tab, which provided some fun party music. :)
Congrats again, Miley and Kev!

Congratulations to all!! And the party table (and the food) looks awesome!! Great job Kevin and Miley on MACH and great job Amanda on the gorgeous party :)
Did you use white chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips or a combination of both in your cookies?
Hi Sarilyn! I used white chocolate chips for the melting part, and then milk chocolate chips for the ones at the end that you stir in. :)
OMG such a neat table, and its wonderful that you show Miley just how proud you are of your sweet baby. That cake is gorgeous. Paulette
Sooooo cute! That’s one proud papa! Looked like a lot of fun.
Fantastic table set up. I think I’ll use your printables as a template for some of my wedding crafts. Thanks, Amanda!

Hi Anne! That’s Pea C-Squared.

What a fun party!
what great pictures!!!! love all the personal touches!
Thanks for all the ideas! I have so much fun keeping up with your blog!
What an adorable party for an adorable pup! I agree about the fruit kebobs. I made those for a family reunion last year and people couldn’t stop raving about them and left all of the fatty salads on the table. As usual, all the stuff you made looks amazing! Congrats Miley and Kevin!
CONGRATS! THANKS FOR SHARING ALL THAT YOU DID! CAN YOU PLEASE TELL US THE RECIPE FOR THE PINWHEELS? WHAT A WONDERFUL THING TO MAKE FOR KIDS AS A SNACK OR SCHOOL LUNCH! I LOVE ALL THAT YOU DID!
Hi Sybil,
Here’s how I did the pinwheels:
1 pkg dry ranch dressing
8 oz cream cheese, softened (I used fat free)
12 slices ham, from deli, thinly sliced
12 slices lacey swiss cheese, from deli, thinly sliced
6 large (burrito style) tortillas
Mix ranch dressing with cream cheese. Spread a layer onto the tortillas. Top with sliced ham and cheese. It works best if you get the ham and cheese from the deli, and they are in that large, half-circle shape, so you can just place two slices on each tortilla and cover the whole thing. Roll up tightly and refrigerate at least one hour (or overnight). Slice into 1-inch bites and serve, or refrigerate until serving. Makes about 36 pinwheels.
You did a great job on the party. I’ve made the fruit kabobs and they are always a hit. They also look great when you stick them in a watermelon shell cut in half with skin side up. You have to be careful making sure the weight is balanced if you use smaller melons or pineapple. Thanks for the great ideas and printables!
Congratulation to Miley and Kevin!
How much fun is this! Congrats, Miley
Love the fruit kabobs idea!
Amanda!
This is the CUTEST party I have ever seen!

What a great event to be celebrating! You did a lovely, personalization of the event – I actually find your blog quite inspiring. Did you make your own cake?
All the best, and keep up the wonderful work – you make it look like super fun!
Hi Mason! I wanted to! :) But everyone always has a photo cake, and Kevin wanted to be just like everyone else, so we got this cake at Publix :)
What fun! Love your table design and food choices! Congratulations again MACH Miley and Kevin!
You guys are just ridiculously cute!!! Congrats Miley!!!

This is so cute!! I love everything about it, and you pay so much attention to detail. The water bottles, the little cards, everything is perfect! congrats!
Great decorations! The water bottle labels are really cute, and so professional! Woman, it won’t do for you to have children. :)
Hi Amanda! Love this post…every time you give a link it becomes one of my new favorite websites. I never heard of TomKat so I had a lot of fun there browsing today! :) Also…I tried your Silhouette studio files and all of the them worked well and transfered to my library except the scalloped one. Do you think I’m doing something wrong or could there be a problem with the file? It transfered but it’s blank. Thanks!
Hi Amanda!
I have followed your blog for some time now and I am awarding you the Stylish Blogger Award! Check out my blog to see how you claim this!

What a fabulous looking party! Congrats to Kevin & Miley! I love all the decorating touches–two tablecloths, banner, food and water bottle labels. Speaking of the labels, did you make them? If so, can you give us a tutorial? I’d love to learn how to make something like these for my daughter’s birthday party. Thanks for sharing all your creative goodness with us!
This is the cutest party ever! Look at the beautiful details, wow! Thanks for sharing my cookies too :) Hope you are having a great Monday, talk soon!! xoxo
Now that is some serious doggie love. Cute party, Amanda!
Fun, fun, fun! Good cause for celebration!
What a wonderful party! Kevin & Miley deserved it, though! They worked very hard!
Love everything you shared – and the recipes too! You’re so sweet.
Thanks again, for another fun update………….Rosemary
How fun! Love that the pups got some treats, too! :-)
You did such a fantastic job on everything! I love love love the labels and cards! What program do you use for designing the labels?
I have been shopping around for a creative printing software and have read so many reviews…You are very creative so your input or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you :)
how sweet is the Mach Miley party –and all the things you did —-your site amazes me all the time —you are incredible!! :)
Thanks for the pinwheel recipe!!! I was about to ask…you got spinach tortillas right? They look delicious and I love the idea of light food. And I would have been one of those people swiping ALL the fruit kabobs!
That is absolutely precious! Thanks so much for letting us see such a cute party. We lost our two litter mate rotties at the ripe old age of 12 last year (still hurts). We used to have parties for them as well. Our female would have loved having such an elaborate celebration, as she would have felt she deserved it. I really enjoyed seeing Miley! Take care.
This is amazing! My (very spoiled) dogs would be so jealous – so I won’t show them this! What a great party. I am glad to see someone else who enjoys spoiling their pups! Love all of the decorations. Congrats to Miley!
Amanda….Congrats on Mach! My Poms are almost there!
I have the cricut machine, how do you like the silhouette
and can you do a comparison ? I may have to get one because your decor for the party was adorable!
Also (blushes) i may need instructions on how to use your fonts…Im not to tech savy.

Everything looks great! Thanks for the link to the cute printables. They’ll help keep me from reinventing the wheel in the future. :-)
OMG I totally love it! You did such a fabulous job decorating! My golden retriever is very jealous that he doesn’t get parties like this! :)
You are such a great Mommy!!! Everything looks amazing as usual! Congrats Miley & Kevin!!
Looks like a grand event!
How on earth do you stay in shape with all these wonderful recipes you make? I do enjoy your posts.

Looks like a great party Amanda!! Did Howie get to go?? Does Kevin do any agility training with him? I love the banner and I’m so psyched because I just got a silhoutte!! I can’t wait to try some of your ideas!! :o)
Man, I wish you could throw me a party!!
Hi Amanda,
WOW! Your party setup is so cute! I love it all, the colors, the polka-dotted balloons, the table scape…just beautiful. Congrats again to Kevin and Miley for a job well done! :)
Your decorations are absolutely fabulous!
I loved all of your food choices, but the fruit kabobs were so fun and easy that I made a mental note to do that at our next party instead of the standard bowl of mixed fruit! Love how you take something basic and turn it around and make it special so easily! Very creative…all of it! Love the decor!
Amanda — this is adorable. You make a great Mom. It’s pretty obvious how well you take care of your babies. Mily & Howie (and Kevin!) are really lucky to have you. :)
I love your banner! I’m planning to make one for an upcoming birthday in May and I do have the Silhouette. What font did you use for the lettering? Thanks.
Century Gothic :)
AMANDA…THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE RECIPE! I HAVE TO ASK YOU ABOUT YOUR BANNER.FIRST OF ALL, THEY ARE THE CUTEST THINGS AND I HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO DO THESE! IS THE SCALLOPED TRIANGLE COME WITH THE SILHOUETTE IN THE STUDIO FILE OR DID YOU IMPORT IT? I HAVE BEEN SEEING THESE BANNERS EVERYWHERE NOW AND I AM WONDERING WHERE THESE PATTERNS COME FROM. I DO NOT OWN A CUTTING MACHINE AND I AM LOVING WHAT THE SILHOUETTE DOES BUT I REALLY WANT TO LEARN MORE. WOULD YOU MIND CONTACTING ME AT MY EMAIL AND FILLING ME IN ON THE DETAILS. I REALLY WANT TO LEARN HOW TO DO THESE BANNERS AND I DO NOT WANT TO MAKE THE WRONG INVESTMENTS. YOU ARE WONDERFUL TO SHARE SO MUCH WITH US! THANK YOU SWEETIE…
You are so amazingly talented Amanda. Thank you so much for the fonts and the freebies. I have a baby shower this weekend and am so going to use the water bottle labels and menu cards. I’m not sure though how to write inside of them. I was going to print it out and print it out using word and re-insert the labels. If there’s a shortcut please let me know.
Thanks again!
Amanda, I can’t wait to make the cookies…they look fabulous as do the rest of your party ideas. Keep them coming!
Cutest party ever!
Amanda … so cute!! I am planning two kid birthday parties in April. What kind of paper did you print the water bottle labels on. My daughter wants these for her party. I think they are so cute and an easy personalized touch.
I just printed them on regular copy paper. :)
Hey Amanda! I am a longtime fan and I love your ideas and am so thankful for your freebies. I really want to use the labels for my daughters’ birthday party but we are doing a different color scheme so I was wondering where you found the two swirly frames that you used on the food labels and the water labels? Any help would be greatly appreciated. A big congratulatory pat to your furry baby!
I hope this isn’t a dumb question. But I’m making a banner for my son’s birthday what kind of glue do you use? A glue stick? I find that the glue sticks I’ve used leave residues. Thanks Amanda
Love. I have a cricut, but with the recent stuff going on with downloading other files, I’m thinking about getting a SILHOUETTE. Don’t know much about it. I did email them to see if they are considering getting a larger printing area and they said yes, but couldn’t give me any other details. They did say they would keep me informed. I do have a question…what is the font that you used on your food place cards? I love love love your blog.
Every time I get into this blog, I am totally amazed at all the cute, fun stuff I see and want to do myself. Thank you for inspiring me!!
Once again, I am extremely excited to see shall the fun, creative projects and be inspired by them. Thank you!!!
Hey, Amanda this is my first time to join your site. I love it! Im a pre-school Bible teacher and I would love some Bible craft ideas if you have any. It’s so hard to find some really cutge ideas. Love the mocha recipe…. Thats what I was l;ooking for when I came acroos your site… Thanks so much for being there!!!!!
Awsome what you can do with the Silhouette. I would love to label all of the glass containers that I have in my kitchen. I love glass and try to store all I can in them and now I want to put a welcome on my front door. Love the Miley thing, what a great thing to win, sure hope I do.
Thank you so much for posting the downloads. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. I was sitting here trying to figure out how I was going to do it as I don’t have a fancy craft machine, scissors or anything other than Photoshop!
