Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Fudge Swirls

This delicious Banana Pudding Ice Cream recipe is made with fudgy chocolate peanut butter swirls. It’s the perfect sweet and refreshing summer dessert!Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Swirls

Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Fudge Swirls

I have a husband who is obsessed with all things Banana, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate. I am always looking for ways to incorporate his favorite flavor trifecta in treats for him. Ice cream is one of his favorite desserts of all time, so this easy, no machine required Banana Pudding Homemade Ice Cream with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Swirls was perfect!

Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Swirls

If you’ve never made this easy, two-ingredient ice cream, you must absolutely put it on your must-make list before summer ends! :) Here’s how I jazzed it up with banana, peanut butter, and chocolate.

Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Swirls

Heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk are the two main players in this recipe, then you can add whatever flavors and toppings you want to create your perfect ice cream. I added bananas, banana pudding, peanut butter, hot fudge, and mini Nilla wafers to make Banana Pudding Ice Cream.

Banana Pudding Ice Cream Recipe

Just start with sweetened condensed milk, and add it to a large bowl, big enough for all your toppings! :)

Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Swirls

Add some banana cream jello… Thanks to my lovely assistant and hand model hubby here! He was really excited about this homemade ice cream. :)

Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Swirls

Whisk the instant pudding into the sweetened condensed milk until dissolved. I thought I could do this with a spatula. Hahahaha. Um, no. You might even want to use a KitchenAid or mixer here! I made Kevin take over. :)

Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Swirls

Next add in some sliced bananas, for texture. Everything’s totally optional here. You can add whatever you want! :)

Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Swirls

Some crushed mini Nilla wafers. So addicted to these darn cookies!

Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Swirls

Now with a mixer, whip your very cold heavy cream until it looks like whipped cream. Then fold it into the sweetened condensed milk mixture.

Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Swirls

Now before all this started, I placed a bowl with 1/2 cup peanut butter in the freezer to harden. Kevin specified that he wanted this ice cream to just have swirls of peanut butter, not be completely peanut butter flavored. ;)

Banana Pudding Ice Cream with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Swirls

So just pinch off teaspoon-size dollops of peanut butter and fold them into the ice cream for perfect peanut butter swirls. Next do the same with the room temperature hot fudge topping for dreamy fudge swirls.

That is IT you guys!! Pour it all into a two-quart container and freeze overnight.

I made this today (minus the peanut butter) and I’m anxiously waiting for tomorrow morning so I can finally try it! It’ll be my breakfast!

  2. Veronica M.

Can’t wait to try this. Yum! I think this would be good with Biscoff spread instead of peanut butter. Love the tip of freezing the peanut butter and hot fudge before hand so it would swirl into ice cream.

Ooh, just one flavor is tough! Usually something along the lines of Oreo/Butterfinger/Reese’s/Fudge…… =) This banana/PB/fudge combo looks amazing though! Definitely “pinned” and will try!

We make your no machine ice cream all the time. I loooove oreos, chocolate syrup (to make it choc ice cream), and some hard shell to make fudge swirl. But recently we tried some without the sweetened condensed milk and subbed honey instead for a more natural sweetener – soooo good.

My husband and I are like your husband! We love peanut butter but prefer it to have strips of thick peanut butter or bites. When you posted that last ice cream recipe, I actually made a chocolate/peanut butter swirl by taking peanut butter and freezing it in strips on wax paper and then pushing it into the ice cream just before I put it in the freezer to freeze. It was incredible.
