Can I share some pics of my roses?

I just love fresh roses. :)

I *especially* love the multicolored ones- it’s like a rainbow of roses! :)

My favorite grocery store has these gorgeous buds for $7 a dozen– so I try to pick some up when I know we’re having company over.

The only problem with that is then I have to arrange them myself. And I am just terrible at that! Is that just me? Does anyone else lack the necessary gene required to neatly arrange roses in a vase?? :p

But they match the kitchen pretty good, huh?? :)

Check out that vase… This is *definitely* a “company’s coming over” vase!! :) It was custom made and engraved by Paula from Plays with Mud.. And look at that- she used a Pea Font! :) That’s Pea Lacy Chunky. Isn’t that cool?? :)

Can you *believe* that gorgeous detailing?? Outta this world!

Look what else Paula came up with.. Oh my goodness… I admit, when I first saw these mini vases (engraved with Create, Inspire, Dream), I wanted to snatch them right up and use them in my scraproom! :)

Can you imagine all the cute stuff I could hold in here?? Colored pencils, pens, brushes… Meep!

Yes. These vases are so cute, I actually “meep’d”. I’m not even sure what a meep is. It just slipped out.

But I’ll have to wait… cause THESE mini vases are going to one of you!! :)

Time’s up!! Scroll down to see who won!! :)

Destiny D. November 17, 2009 at 2:08 am

I recently purchased Paula’s personalized Forever vase and I absolutely adore it. Paula was incredibly gracious and willing to “tweak” it to read my last name and wedding date making it even more special to my husband and I.

I searched every pottery page on Etsy (it took hours!) searching for something special to order and I’m convinced I made the right decision. I love everything about the piece and have received so many compliments on it.

If you are looking for something unique, beautifully made by a sweet and talented woman, then head over to Plays with Mud. You won’t be disappointed!

I adore the mini vases … might need them! Oh bother!

Thank you for the “pea” fonts. I use them all of the time!

Jessica November 17, 2009 at 2:14 am

I love it all!! Her plates for Santa and her platters are amazing. What amazing talent!!! I love how she integated the Pea Fonts!!! What pure talent, I wish I could make those!! India M. November 17, 2009 at 5:26 am

I can’t arrange flowers that well either, I think you have to forget everything you thought you knew about decorating in order to do it well – flowers have their own rule book.
