I just love fresh roses. :)
I *especially* love the multicolored ones- it’s like a rainbow of roses! :)
My favorite grocery store has these gorgeous buds for $7 a dozen– so I try to pick some up when I know we’re having company over.
The only problem with that is then I have to arrange them myself. And I am just terrible at that! Is that just me? Does anyone else lack the necessary gene required to neatly arrange roses in a vase?? :p
But they match the kitchen pretty good, huh?? :)
Check out that vase… This is *definitely* a “company’s coming over” vase!! :) It was custom made and engraved by Paula from Plays with Mud.. And look at that- she used a Pea Font! :) That’s Pea Lacy Chunky. Isn’t that cool?? :)

These are all great—I will be doing some christmas shopping, a wedding gift for my niece, and the rustic vase for me and maybe the red plate. And “Meep” brought back memories, That is what my youngest brother called our MOM. thanks that was great!!

I did comment before…Although after seeing these and other things Paula had to offer, I emailed and asked if we could tweek one of her designs, for my mother in law, my sister in law was killed by a drunk driver on Valentines Day and we are going to make a memorial plate for her with the special message we have on her gravestone…Thanks for putting these up…going to be a great gift, even under the circumstances…

I can’t arrange flowers that well either, I think you have to forget everything you thought you knew about decorating in order to do it well – flowers have their own rule book.
