Like a printer, the Silhouette plugs into your computer with a USB cable. But instead of printing, it uses a small blade to cut paper, cardstock, vinyl, fabric and more.

The new CAMEO can now cut materials up to 12 inches wide. And this special Cameo bundle comes with the Silhouette Studio Designer Edition software with an enhanced sketch feature to easily create your own designs. You can also cut out any font on your computer, including all the Kevin & Amanda Fonts. And just as before, the Silhouette is Mac and PC friendly.

We donate our time & help in any and every way we can. We would be so lucky to have this addition to our chapter to promote our services!! Thank you & God bless us all!!

    And yes, I said nifty

  80. Catherine

I am struggling to pick a beginning point, but I would use this Cameo right away for the projects I’ve dreamed of having the tools to make. Outside of being in the process of reorganizing my new apartment and looking for ways to start fresh and have everything labeled organized, but still PRETTY, I’ve always wanted to find a simpler way to create personal cards for my friends and family to thank you for their support or let them know I’m thinking about them. I think I’d do that first so I can personalize each one and really learn the features while making something special for the people who are special to me. But wow, the possibilities of what to do with this really are endless! ::Fingers crossed::

  81. Jillian

I would make monograms and decorations for my daughter’s backpack and dance bag first — but so many other things after that!

Rudy Borel is my hero. As a loving, and sometimes grouchy guy, my pawpaw has always held me in a special place in his heart. And I, the youngest of 3, have always looked back to him as a hero. My pawpaw and I share a common interest, which is our unending love of technology. When I call him a hero, I mean to say that this man is a genius when working with electronics. He will be turning 82 on June 23rd of this year, but he can swap a motherboard more quickly than I. If I were to have this beautiful machine, I would be able to incorporate my love of design with my love of technology, and to create a lovely birthday gift for my pawpaw, Rudy. I would love to be able to create first with this machine an engraved computer tower, using a silhouette created from an image of him on his red Harley, a handsome reminder of how what a cool man he is. When the time comes and health complications dampen the situation further, I will have a reminder to keep (and hold my pc components) of my lovely and wonderful hero, my pawpaw.
