Congratulations Andrea! I’ve sent you an email. Enjoy your Masterbuilt Fried Turkey Thanksgiving!
Just in time for Thanksgiving, I’ve got a fun giveaway today from Masterbuilt for everything you need for a Fried Turkey Thanksgiving! Frying a turkey in hot oil definitely calls for caution, but fortunately Masterbuilt developed the Butterball Indoor Electric Turkey Fryer to achieve a perfect fried turkey with peace of mind. I had the pleasure of sampling this turkey last May at BlogHer Food in Atlanta, and I still can’t stop thinking about it. It was so rich, incredibly moist, and packed with flavor. So delicious! I knew immediately that I wanted to share this giveaway with you guys!
Check out this Cajun Fried Turkey recipe from John McLemore’s “Dadgum That’s Good” cookbook to see how easy it is to quickly fry up a turkey for Thanksgiving. The winner will receive everything he or she needs to recreate this recipe!
UPDATE: I made this Cajun Fried Turkey for Thanksgiving and it was fantastic! The fryer and recipe were so easy to use and follow. And it cooks so quickly! I love knowing that I could easily whip up another one in less than an hour. This juicy, spicy turkey was definitely the star of our Thanksgiving table this year.

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is the stuffing because it represents the flavor of your family. It is definitely a dish that differs from family to family by the tradition handed down through generations. For me it is the ultimate timeless comfort food.
A Blessed Thanksgiving to you.
Love the stuffing with gravy!!
Favorite dish = green bean casserole! And only my mom’s!
To be honest all of it, but if I had to pick it would be a toss up between turkey and sweetpatato cassarole.
My favorite Thanksgiving dish is Sweet Potato Casserole/Candied Yams. My mother makes the candied yam dish while my mother-in-law makes the sweet potato casserole.
I love all of the food at Thanksgiving time but my favorite by far is my mother’s sweet potato casserole! I have never had anything better!!!
My absolute FAVORITE dish is my grandmother’s dressing. The recipe has been passed on through several generations. For some reason, she is the only one that can make it “just right”. Topped with a couple of slices of cranberry sauce and I am in Heaven! Looking foward to next Thursday. Hoping you and your family have a blessed Thanksgiving holiday! :)
My favorite thanksgiving dish is canned jellied cranberry sauce. Yep. We make homemade stuffing/dressing from scratch, we make broccoli casserole from scratch, we make pretzel salad from scratch, yet my favorite thing comes in a can. HA!
my favorite dish is cornbread dressing with juicy turkey and yummy gravy! Oooh weeeee…I can’t wait!
My favorite dish has to be the stuffing. All that yummy bready goodness! Especially if it is Sausage stuffing, which is my family’s tradition. Delish! Thanks for another great giveaway. My husband has been wanting to try a fried Turkey and this would likely get his grandma (who mainly controls the T- day menu) to give in and let him try it.
That’s a tough decision!!! Have to go with the dressing!! My mom used to rolls into large balls and bake it…that way you got the crispy outside all around!!!
Baked beans!!!
Everything is so good! If I have to choose one thing, it would be dressing. Not too much sage, not too dry, not too moist. With all the right ingredients – a meal unto itself. Turkey, of course, but the turkey sandwiches Thanksgiving night or into the next few days and of course, my mother’s recipe for Prune Cake with Sweet Whipped Cream piled on top.
Thanksgiving is a belt loosing, button popping day. Ummmmm, Good!
Great web site. It really grows on you. Good Stuff!!
Thank you for the giveaway. I really do love the leftover roast turkey and Pepperidge Farm Stuffing sandwiches.
My favorite dish is stuffing with gravy, I could eat just that!
My favorite is the turkey! There is something about how the whole meal comes together that is wonderful!

I love it when my step-dad fries the turkey in peanut oil but that hasn’t happend the past few years do to peanut allergies with the grandkids. Honestly, I have NEVER baked a turkey. If I had this, it would be my first…and I’m in my 30′s!

I must say that I love everything and every part of Thanksgiving; the food, family, and not to mention the traditions. But my favorite food that I can’t possibly shovel in my mouth fast enough is…….. MASHED POTATOES!!!! Mix in some sweet corn or accompanied by turkey is my absolute favorite! I just can’t get enough of their fluffiness, and their sweet salty buttery taste! That is my favorite food during Thanksgiving :)
Homemade cranberry sauce!…extra chunky and sugary! Living in WI…we have lots of cranberry bogs with bushels of cranberries available.
My grandmother’s sour cream apple pie!

I love turkey and a special casserole from a certain Southern magazine called Harvest Casserole with apples, sweet potatoes, cranberries, and crunchy brown sugar and oatmeal topping!
The pumpkin pie!
My favorite is the stuffing. Not fancy with fruit or sausage. Just good old basic stuffing. Yum!
My favourite part probably the stuffing. However, I do love the turkey with gravy too. Mmm, too hard to pick just one thing!

I’d have to say the GRAVY!! I put it on everything.
Sweet potato casserole!!!!! Yummy!!!!!
My all-time Thanksgiving favorite is a broccoli casserole that has been made in my family for generations. It’s creamy, cheesy and crunchy all at the same time! Even broccoli haters love this casserole! Second runner-up for favorite dish is turkey slathered in gravy…can’t beat that! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
I was at a house when they deep fried a turkey on the deck….it was scary to say the least…..but delish! :)

Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for sharing….again.
Yumm!! My favorite Thanksgiving dish is, hands-down, my mother’s Broccoli Rice Casserole!
The stuffing!! I only have it once a year, but I love it!
My favorite Thanksgiving day food is turkey. Even though it is available every day of the year, it almost seems like the sacred bird, shared only during the Thanksgiving holiday. I love to smell the house when it is cooking. The smells bring back sweet childhood memories and cause me to remember relative that are no longer here. It is a sweet, sweet season and I am thankful for memories that this food brings back to my mind.

Mashed potatoes!!
My favorite Thanksgiving food has to be the cornbread dressing – It’s that once a year food that is so good on Thanksgiving day but the morning after, at around 10:00, when all the left overs come back out of the packed fridge, it is just heavenly! I usually eat a few bites cold because I can’t wait on the microwave to get it hot.
My receipe for sausage and cranberry stuffing!
My sausage stuffing if my absolute favorite. Yum-o!!!!
My favorite thanksgiving dish is hashbrown casserole…unless it’s our year to be with my side of the family and then it would be my mom’s cornbread dressing!!! It is to die for =)
