My first project would be a rockin set of vinyl numbers and sponsor decals for my boyfriend’s race car so he could really stand out at the racetrack when he is meeting and greeting the children that are race fans. I hate it when he runs around the track at those insane speeds, but it is a part of him so I have to support that, and new artwork on his car would make him so happy!

I’ve been wanting a Silhouette! I teach kindergarten and for years my favorite gift we make are silhouettes. I’ve evolved over the years from using an overhead to trace their silhouette on black construction paper(ughh, took FOREVER and 5 year olds can’t sit still) to taking a picture on my camera and printing it on the back of silhouette paper and cutting them out. These are very time-consuming projects and not always as precise as I would like. I would LOVE to do this project as my first of many projects on the Silhouette! Then I would label my classroom and my home with cute & cool banners.

162

The teachers there are so creative and really long for one, but it’s not in the school’s budget for now. Since we use both PCs and Macs it would be perfect for everyone. We’d use it make all sorts of inspirational signs for our hallways, fun bulletin boards, and much-needed shelving labels in the library. I bet the teachers would even make t-shirts for special events to encourage our students. Go Warrensurg Tigers — and their teachers!

DJ November 26, 2010 at 4:40 pm

Oh my goodness! The crafted goods here are so beautiful! I think I would have a very hard time choosing between etching glass (cuz I know I would hit up Goodwill for some custom funky pieces), or trying the iron-on transfers to make a satchel as cool as the one in the image above (gray with yellow). I am always on the hunt for a nice cute knitting bag, but I have yet to find one; maybe I need to make and customize one? I think yes!

Hope your Thanksgiving was happy! Love your blog!
