I’ve been so drawn to this colorful palette lately.
It started with another scarf, of course.
They remind me of late winter…
…transitioning into spring.

Hi amanda. I fell in love look at your blog. photography is so interesting. your really talented.
hey amanda!
i need photography/blog/uploading/sizing help please!
I have a Canon Rebel XT that I take my pictures with. I have my format set to take them in raw. I import them into adobe bridge and edit them from there. What i’m wanting to know how to do is 1. upload the pictures to blogger at the width of my main column and 2. preserve the sharpness and quality.
I’m baffled at what i’m doing wrong because i have uploaded a 4 or 5mb (maybe larger) picture on the large setting and it doesn’t come in large. And when i try to drag the corners, the quality weakens and the picture looks fuzzy. I’ve also tried resizing the image to say 600 pixels wide, if thats the width of my column but nothing works!
please help! your pictures are always so fabulous.
thanks in advance!

I just found your blog & I am enjoying it immensely! Very inspiring. I am amazed at your talent. Thank you for all of the tips & insights. I have a lot more to see. I look forward to it.
I just found you via Google – I was looking for a tutorial on how to create your own blog background. I LOVE this site!! I added your button to my blog. :)
Oh – and right now I am loving browns and rusty oranges paired with grey/blues.
I just wanted to say the thing I love the most about your blog is that you don’t hoard all your good ideas for yourself- you share! Thanks for that! (:
Amanda-
I am so crazy about pink now, I felt it is very femininity. And I love black/white/gray. Our bedroom is black/white/gray/yellow…bathroom is black/white/gray/red….living room is black/white/gray/purplish red…our dining room is black/white/gray/greenapple…. crazy, huh?
Oops! I forgot to answer your question. Aqua and red. :)
So cute, Amanda! As always. :) I can’t remember where I was, but I actually saw the scarf you used for this layout and I shouted out loud, “There’s Amanda’s scarf!” My kids were like, “Who is Amanda, Mom?” Ha! Totally made me laugh. I just love your blog. Always so fresh and happy and inspiring. :)
Love those tiny little paw prints…..
I love the scarf on you in the first pic. It looks so cute! Where did you get it?? All of those colors in the palette are *so* pretty together.
This colors are so gorgeous together. The scarf looks very nice as well, may I ask where you get your wonderful scarves from?
that is a fantastic color scheme.
i love bright colors and those definitely cheer up the dreariness of the season!
(p.s. did you find a winner for the EatSmart?????)
I just heard in the radio that someone who loves snow scene is someone who has good intuition. Do you love snow scene?
Amanda, The photos you post are always so stunning! Do you have any formal education in photography or are you self-taught?
That pictue of the strawberry splashing in the glass is totally awesome!!!
I love the purple on the end…very soft
loving the colors combos, warm;inspiring;and invigorating in such a dull dreary time of the year
Thanks for the inspiration!
Love your photos! I love browns with turquoise, navy blue with lime green or pinks with both neutral colors. I love grays and khaki because you can mix and match so many other colors with them! Thanks for sharing!

I was wondering how you use the file once you download it. I created a palette and downloaded it and don’t know how to use it in photoshop (or if I can). Any help would be great! Thanks!
What a cool site! Thanks for sharing. Love the color palette you included in your post!
Love your colors! Love your BLOG & your pictures. Thanks a bunch for sharing that website. I have a feeling I’m going to be playing with it A LOT–maybe too much (as I’m sure my husband will say). :) I seem to be hooked on anything that is bright or contrasting. Colors that stand out ALWAYS grab my eye.
kuler!!! glad you like it… ( :
I lurve color! Thanks for the groovy website!
I’m hooked on green right now, I have NO idea why. But I needed a new wallet after the new year and I picked up a green one and couldn’t put it down. My husband looked shocked. But since then I’ve been wearing green – and I redid my blog after the holidays in green. Who knows why? But I love it – light and airy (my attempt and bringing up the winter temperatures, ha!!)
browns on browns, black on black, navy blue on blue it seems like whenever I try and mix it up someone gives me that look and I’m like “What” “Do I have a booger in my nose?”—You blend so beautifully-
thanks for the inspiration.
