I have 12 brand new fonts to share with you today, plus an extra cute doodle font! Head on over to the Fonts for Peas section of Kevin and Amanda to download them all.

Just take a peek at a few of the brand new fonts available today! The text I’m using in the previews below is from the book What Alice Forgot, which I just got done reading and highly recommend if you’re looking for a new book! Go check it out for sure!! :)

This fantastically carefree handwriting belongs to the fabulous Heidi of Foodie Crush. Heidi has a delicious food and recipe blog at Foodie Crush where she shares her gorgeous food photography and love for her fellow food bloggers. After spending 20 years designing print magazines, she now partners with fellow food bloggers like Maria of Two Peas and Their Pod and Lauren of Lauren’s Latest to create and publish ebooks and ecookbooks.

These next two fonts belong to the adorable Abby of Twist Me Pretty. I met Heidi and Abby at the Build Your Blog Conference in Utah earlier this year. I was so inspired by both of them, and I noticed they both had AMAZING handwriting!! I insisted they hand it over immediately. :)

Turns out, Abby is a huge fan of the Fonts for Peas and uses them exclusively on her blog and in her Ultimate Hairstyle Handbook, an inspiring guide fully loaded with over forty fashionable hairstyles, each with their own set of step-by-step picture tutorials. It’s available as a paperback on Amazon, or you can download the ebook version on her blog.

The most awesome sight in Austin is watching the bats fly out from under the Congress Street Bridge at sunset. As if on cue, millions of bats emerge in a stream following the river towards the sunset. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. Nature at its best.

In Austin, you must go to Matt’s El Rancho — seriously the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten! Other great spots are Stubb’s and Baby Acapulco. Enjoy!

If you’re up for a great hamburger, you should try Your Mom’s Burger Bar 5001 Airport Blvd. – slightly north of the I-35 exit … I hear its great. :)

Torches Tacos– best tacos in town. Magnolia Cafe- best ginger pancakes and breakfast. Hop Daddy Burgers– best burger of your life. Franklins for bbq (but be sure to get there EARLY). Enjoy my town while visiting and don’t forget to to kayaking or paddle boarding on town lake. -Kelly

You will LOVE Austin! You’d love East Side Cafe – in a little house on the East side of the UT Campus, they grow many of their own herbs, veggies and fruits. And Magnolia Cafe is awesome any time of the day (open 24 hours) and if you need a late-night place to go, this is it – you’ll get a taste of some of the “Keep Austin Weird” vibe there, no doubt :) And Curra’s on Oltorf is fabulous Mexican food!

The pea fonts are by far my favorite fonts ever, thanks Amanda!
Unfortunately the doodle font doesn’t work for me, not sure why. :( Is anyone else having the same issue?

Thanks so much for the fonts. Welcome to Austin (almost)! I know that you will have a great time while you are here. A few ideas for places to eat: Maudie’s (mexican food-Lake Austin or on 360), Perla’s (Seafood on South Congress-aka SoCo), Hopdaddy’s (SoCo), Homeslice (SoCo-Pizza), Uchi (South Lamar), Benji’s (mexican food-West 6th). Oh and for dessert–Amy’s Ice Cream! Just a few ideas but there are loads of great restaurants in Austin! Have fun!

Hi Amanda, welcome to Austin. I would suggest my favorite, as I live in Austin – Sixth Street on Fri or Sat night, Oasis – to see the sunset, Trudys or Chuys – Tex Mex food, Hey Cupcake – Wagon that sells cupcakes, Happy Crepes – Wagon that sells crepes on Sat morning, Domain or Galleria Mall – for shopping.

BTW what is this Food blogger event ?

Also can I use your fonts to create my blog banner ? Thanks!

Hi Amanda, I will be at blogher food too, maybe I will see you there. The oasis is a must do for the view and sunset. Someone mentioned Maudie’s – love that place and Magnolia Cafe is a great place for some real Ausin atmosphere.

Hope you have a blast in Austin! I used to live there and loved it! Trudy’s has the BEST chile rellenos I have EVER had in my life! And The Salt Lick in Dripping Springs has awesome barbeque. For dessert, The Upper Crust bakery on Lamar is also yummy ;) Have fun! And congrats on the Alabama Magazine article! That is too cool! :)

I love your fonts ~ thanks for this newest “bouquet.” Speaking of bouquets, I visited Austin YEARS ago with my Mom, and we had a great time at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. It sounded like a nerdy thing to do, but I humored my mother, and I’m GLAD I did; I still have wonderful memories of the place (as well as a really neat old-fashioned, pewter-flower letter opener I got that day, and still use to open those old-fashioned things called letters…and bills). Have a GREAT time!

Amanda, Please help! How do you use your darling fonts on Wordpress? I’ve been told by my blog designer that I can’t. That stinks, doesn’t it? I’m so bummed that I have no creative outlet on my blog after 5 years on blogger. Please tell this isn’t so!

Enjoy the conference and let us all know about it (who couldn’t attend!)

Thanks so much sweet lady,
Roz

Hola Amanda :)
Is it possible that you start asking your contributors for fonts to add the accent, the “ñ” and the opening exclamation and question marks?. I am a Spanish teacher and I would love to use these fonts, but I can´t because of those missing characters.
¡Gracias!
