The new CAMEOâ„¢ can now cut materials up to 12 inches wide! It comes with the software to create your own designs, and you can also cut out any font on your computer, including all the Kevin & Amanda Fonts! The Silhouette is Mac and PC friendly.

I would make a wall saying/decal that would make the children I evaluate in my office more comfortable since they tend to come from abusive homes.

  15. Sarah B

I have never used a vinyl cutter so I really want to try something with vinyl for my boys’ room, but I think I’ll have to try some fabric cutting for pillows in my living room too

  16. Jessica S

I am a graphic design student and all of the concept we create we have to make a real life ‘mock up’. With this machine I would be able to save so much time, I’m sure my projects would look better, and it would be a fun experience at the same time! My first project would most likely be my wine bottles I have to create, I can actually make a label! Second would be my shirt design project (we have to create 6). Third would be my CD project, I could create a cool decal to make the cover pop out. I also love decorating around the house, so all around this would be an awesome win!!

  17. Becky Morse

The first thing I’d do is make Christmas gifts for my neighbors and co-workers. Great way to make super cute, inexpensive gifts!

  18. PixelBerryPie

I’d probably use a Silhouette mostly for creating stencils to use in crafts. It would be awesome to win one of these machines!! Thanks for the chance.

  19. Diane Marrs

I would love to win the Silhouette Cameo so I can do some glass etching for Christmas gifts. Thanks and God Bless!

  20. Lindsay

I would make some cute t-shirts for my boys with the fabric ink first. I also want to try to make as many things for Christmas as I can, so I’d love to use the Cameo for that – glass etched pieces, calendars and chalkboard menus using vinyl, clothes or pillow covers accented using heat transfer or fabric ink – SO many possibilities!

Thanks SO much for the giveaway!

  21. Alana

I would have a hard time choosing which project to try first, but probably would use it to make some holiday attire for my daughter. It looks like a lot of fun!

  22. Teresa

I want one of these so badly, but can’t come up with it now. I have seen so many ideas that I want to try, banners, frames, clothing transfers, my car!

  23. Dana B

I would use it to etch glass. I’m eyeballing those big glass canisters, and need a great way to etch them.

  24. marcy dunaway

I am dying to get my hands on one!!!! My first project would probably be with vinyl followed by fabric!

  25. Laurie Johnsey

RHINESTONES! I would try rhinestones. I had no idea it would even do that. I’ll bling some things up!

  26. Cara J

I’d try some of the cute fabric things with the heat transfer material! I love all the cute kids clothes ideas I have seen lately!!!

  27. Jayne (aka Granny)

I love the idea of glass etching, so I’d definitely try that first (I’ll let you know how it goes!). After that, all things I could do for my four beautiful grandkids is just mind boggling!

  28. Lori

I’d love to try a fabric project – but then again, vinyl would be so tempting! Thanks so much for the awesome giveaway!

  29. Rachel jones

I make everyone in our family cloth bags with their names on it for Christmas. Try to get everyone to use less plastic bags at the store. Also, would love to do the glass etching on my glass jars in the panty.

  40. rozannah trockel

I would definitely cut out some paper leaves for our Thanksgiving tradition of filling a bare tree with all of the things that we are grateful for.

  41. Tamara

I’ve found that I really could use a Silhouette for making stencils to use in my wood crafts. I’m always needing new stencil designs cut out, and sometimes they are too intricate for handscissors. It would be so great to win this machine!!

I would do something with the vinyl…I don’t have any of the cute words in my house and would love to make some.

  49. Lora

I would love to cut out some really cool designs to wrap around candle holders! And make some really cute tote bags!

  50. Kristi

I’d take it to work, and have the kids come up with designs to decorate the walls! Cinder block is not cute, no matter what color it’s painted!

  51. Stephanie L.

I have wanted one for such a long time…..my to do list is super long! But I would begin with some vinyl crafts for Christmas!!!

Thanks for offering us a chance to win this amazing machine!

  52. Janet

I am a librarian at a preschool. I would use the Silouette “bling” for a bulletin board. Little kiddos can’t have too much sparkle.

  53. Danielle

I would definitely use it first to create AMAZING fronts to my christmas cards. I have been into fine paper cutting art, and would fall head over heels to create my own intricate designs. Then I would make a Christmas gift for my Grandmother that Ive been planning, but that seemed so over the top when needing to be done by hand-blade: I would make sillouettes of all our family. Then… well, There are so many possibilities it is impossible to name them all!

  54. Amanda H.

I have about a million ideas for Christmas swimming around in my head, but some shirts with rhinestones and fabric paint would make the day of my 3 little girls.

  58. Barbara Davis

I have been admiring a Silhouette for some time. The avenues that a Cameo would open would be limitless. I love crafts and sewing. I would probably try it out first on tackle twill. Would be wonderful to be able to import the designs from the computer vs cutting them by hand.

I would go to town on the scrapbooks I have waiting for me to create – I just have been lost on the titles and layouts. I know this would be a BIG help!

  84. Melinda Shapro

What an amazing tool! I’d definately start with a vinyl project first. My washer/dryer could use some colour!

  85. Mandy Larson

The first Silhouette project I’d try would be curtains for my best friend’s living room. She just got married this past weekend in Florida. The wedding was AMAZING but pretty expensive with all the cost incurred from being a bridesmaid. Having said that, my wedding gift was far less than wonderful and being that she’s amazing and one of my oldest friends I promised her I’d be making it up to her at some point. When I saw your post for this AMAZING new craft cutter, I thought it would be the perfect way to jazz up there new condo. See, Jamie and her new husband Ben are renting a beautiful condo in Jacksonville Beach FL but considering Jamie can’t find a job and they are newly married they haven’t really “decorated” and by haven’t really decorated I mean everything is still in boxes, no curtains, no pictures… NOTHING! This just doesn’t work for me so my first project(s) would definitely be to help get some color and style going in their new home and new life together. Please help me give her the wedding gift(s) she deserves!

  86. Myka

I would love to make Christmas gifts for my daughter, nieces and nephews, cutting fabric to make appliques and more! So many ideas and possibilities! Thanks so much for this giveaway opportunity!

  110. Lisa Casper

There are so many things to try, it’s hard to know what to try first! Probably some cute vinyl decor to help my poor bare walls. And make as many Christmas gifts as possible! Thanks for the giveaway!

  111. Rachel

I would start with somr fun pillows for the holidays with the heat transfer, then on to cards, t-shirts, home organization (got to make the boring stuff fun!), and some classroom projects for my kiddos!

I think I would first try glass etching, but I also want to try the rhinestones too – never thought to use it for rhinestone placement! Thanks again, Amanda for such a great giveaway – you always have such fun stuff on your blog! :)

Wow, This is awesome!! I’d love to give one those!!! I’ll make so many T-shirts to my son. Tks for the chance!

  139. Cheryl

I would love to cut my own letters to create a custom shirt, will have to see how thick of fabric it can cut. So I would probably do a vinyl sticker for my laptop as a first project.

  140. Jessica J

I would make a large monogram for a salvage window. I would also use it to make stencils or to make fun appliques for kids clothes. I really have so many projects that a Silhouette Cameo would help me with. Thanks for the great giveaway

  141. Pattyz

I would make some vinyl stickers for my refrigerator and some wall decor. I love that this one machine can do so many things!

  142. cindi m

i need to still try glass etching too! however i have been eyeing their new fabric ink since it came out and i have visions of creating funky, fun tshirts for my daughter embellished w a few of the rhinestones for a touch of bling! loving the wider cutting space on the cameo, so can’t wait to get this machine!

Heat transfer or Fabric painting…I’ve got some ideas to make some volunteer wear for our story tellers and small group leaders!

  144. Tammy

I would make a christmas banner to hang over my fireplace and some christmas themed clings for the walls and window.

  145. Abbi

You totally need to try glass etching!! It’s so easy and AWESOME!! I used my SILs cutter (not a Silhouette and NOT as good) and made a whole 12-piece set of personalized drinking glasses for our bible study group…now everyone knows whose cup is whose when they get set down in different places around the house! :)

I really want to make a vinyl wall decal for our home that reads “Meadows Family, est. 2009″…or I want to do some candy jar glass etching for my soon-to-be SILs wedding…she’s having a candy buffet and I think personalized jars would be so cool!

  146. Keisha

The one project I’m dying to tackle is my pantry full of glass containers. I’m scared one day I will be eating salted corn flakes vs sugar.

  147. Amy Johnson

My first project would be to make vinyl pictures for my ceiling in the bathroom! Its done in fish decor and I’d like to make it look like we’re under the water with a boat and other stuff on the ceiling.

  148. erin meerzaman

I am having a princess birthday party for my daughter so imagine the goodies I could create with this machine!!

  149. Candy

Honestly? The very first thing I would do is make some really cute vinyl labels for my Mom’s pantry out of contact paper chalkboard. We’re living here temporarily and it’s something I think she’d like.

Thanks for the chance! What an amazing giveaway!

  150. Adam Haynes

I’d love to do some vinyl cuts to liven things up for the holidays. I want to cut out little tiny elves and have a few pop up every day until christmas and let me my son try to find them all.

  151. Holly

I would make birthday decorations and a birthday t-shirt for my daughter! Then would try out everything else!

  152. Tina

I would love to try the Heat Transfer first to make cute custom shirts for my kids. Then I could make little Halloween treats for my entire class at school with the cutting shapes, personalize gifts for Christmas with the vinyl, work on scrapbooking pages…

  153. Barbara Wilhite

It was hard to decide on one thing, but I think a stencil to spell out my street address for the front of my house. In a beautiful old world font. Thanks!

  154. Solange Greaux

I am a mother of one and a grandmother of one. My only child had her only child 12 years ago. You would think what a small family, but we are all so close-knit. In fact, I live with my daughter and her family. It is a blessing. No money in the world could buy the love I get and share with her and the family. Don’t get me started on the pet population in this house. It out numbers the humans! We are all pet lovers. Which brings me to what I would make. I am not quite sure what I would make, but it would be pet related. I was thinking about using the Cameo to design a collar for each dog for each holiday! That would be fun, and I think that is what my first project will be! Thanks Amanda for this great giveaway!

  155. Lucy Lam

What a super duper giveaway! I would make a print and cut card for my first project. It’s such an amazing machine! Thanks for the chance to win this awesome prize:D

I would definitely try something with fabric ink! Make a little something special for my two littlest guys!!!

  159. Kristen

I would definitely use it to label everything in my house! It would make being organized so much easier and faster!

  160. Erica Mowell

I would love to do the glass etching. My husband and I are wanting to give salsa out at Christmas I would love to etch the canned jars of salsa!

I would also love to make my daughter rhinestone tees!

  161. Rebecca Monroe

I would try heat transferring some cute designs on bags for teacher gifts! I have a child in kindergarten and one in preschool, so this would be great!!!

  162. norell francis

I would love to try the vinyl stickers to decorate my bookcase and also maybe make some wall art!!! this is so exciting:)
