Fonts for Peas- Fifteen New Fonts for Friday

fonts for peas - new fonts - feb 2010

Just in time for the weekend- there are 15 brand new handwriting fonts and doodles to download from Fonts for Peas! All fonts are free and can be downloaded on the Fonts for Peas blog.

While you’re there, be sure to check out these super cute new character doodles from Jelene! :)

And see more of her whimsical and fun art (with some cute ideas on how to use her doodles!) @ jelene.com

Also, I’m happy to announce that the Fonts for Peas has it’s first Euro-Ready font, Pea Marie-Christine!

The Pea Marie-Christine font includes common Western European symbols and language characters.

If you’d like to submit your own Euro-Ready font, just follow the steps here to submit your handwriting, and add your symbols under the punctuation line! :)

Thanks so much for looking! :)

Sure! I’ll leave a comment. You have kept me beautifully stocked with adorable fonts for all my digital scrapbooking needs! THANK YOU! I love generous people. I’m excited to downloaded these.

ps. Gotta tell you that I had a dream about you the other night. I went to a dinner party at your home and got to meet and hang out with you. No one knew that you were living in my city. I felt so priveledged to get to go because I knew that shortly the news was going to be out and you would be charging money to do these things for people. Apparently you are a blogger-celebrity:) Heehee.

Great fonts. Love her creations on her website too. These would be so cute on a kellogg’s poptart box or kid’s cereal box.

Amanda…We are getting 4-6 inches of snow today. It’s coming down nice and steady. It’s sooo pretty since I don’t have to go out in it today. ;D

In honor of the Super Bowl and New Orleans, we made your Shrimp & Sausage Gumbo this afternoon. It was absolutely perfect. Over Christmas, we made your pulled pork. Perfect also! I read several recipe blogs, but the recipes you post are always the very best! Thank you so much!

I love your fonts too . . . you may have answered this question a zillion times, but why do you the Pea-related names? Whatever you call them, however, they’re so fun and creative!

I love your website! Thanks for sharing your creativity!
I absolutely love your picture rag quilt that you made and am wanting to make one. I was wondering where you found all that cute fabric? I can’t seem to find many flannel patterns that I just “love”. Please share!

I just have to say that every time I see your blog in bold print in my google reader (that means there’s a new post), I literally feel my mood shift in hopes that new fonts are to be found. Granted, the majority of the time, there are no new fonts posted, but that’s ok because you always give us something good!! Thanks! :)

Insert head thump here. If I had read your FAQs, I would have already known the story behind “Fonts for Peas.” The sad part is: I had read the explanation before. Now perhaps I’ll actually remember it.

Looking good!

Arghh, super depressed that my handwriting wasn’t chosen though. I admit, I thought some of my doodles were pretty spectacular!

Oh well, there’s always next time. x

Hi Amanda
ok, so you finally inspired me to design a new layout for Gary’s blog… without your help and advice on your blog it would not have been possible… I’m still tweaking, but please come and have a look. Sorry if you think the header is a little too much like yours.. but yours is GREAT!
Thanks again
