Breakfast Casserole Ingredients
You only need four ingredients for this easy recipe:
1 can crescent rolls
1 pound mild breakfast sausage
2 cups shredded cheese
How to Make Breakfast Casserole (Step by Step)
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Take a 9×13 pan and generously coat with nonstick cooking spray. Roll out the crescent rolls in the bottom of the pan and press seams together.
Top with an even layer of browned and drained sausage.
Then pour in six beaten eggs.
Top with shredded cheese and bake (uncovered) at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
Overnight Breakfast Casserole
If you want to save cooking time in the morning, you can brown your sausage the day before and keep it in the refrigerator until the next day. Then all you have to do in the morning is put everything together and bake.
You can also prepare everything the night before, cover with plastic wrap and keep in the refrigerator until ready to bake the next morning.
