Can I share some pics of my roses?

I just love fresh roses. :)

I *especially* love the multicolored ones- it’s like a rainbow of roses! :)

My favorite grocery store has these gorgeous buds for $7 a dozen– so I try to pick some up when I know we’re having company over.

The only problem with that is then I have to arrange them myself. And I am just terrible at that! Is that just me? Does anyone else lack the necessary gene required to neatly arrange roses in a vase?? :p

But they match the kitchen pretty good, huh?? :)

Check out that vase… This is *definitely* a “company’s coming over” vase!! :) It was custom made and engraved by Paula from Plays with Mud.. And look at that- she used a Pea Font! :) That’s Pea Lacy Chunky. Isn’t that cool?? :)

Can you *believe* that gorgeous detailing?? Outta this world!

Look what else Paula came up with.. Oh my goodness… I admit, when I first saw these mini vases (engraved with Create, Inspire, Dream), I wanted to snatch them right up and use them in my scraproom! :)

Can you imagine all the cute stuff I could hold in here?? Colored pencils, pens, brushes… Meep!

Yes. These vases are so cute, I actually “meep’d”. I’m not even sure what a meep is. It just slipped out.

But I’ll have to wait… cause THESE mini vases are going to one of you!! :)

When I started reading your post, I thought to myself, WHERE did she find that vase? I HAVE to have one!

I am even more excited that you’re having a giveaway! Her work is gorgeous and I am thinking about giving my mother “You make the world a brighter place” vase because she’s my inspiration as a colon cancer survivor. :)

Carolyn November 18, 2009 at 7:39 am

Amanda, I just LOVE your website and I just realized you guys graduated from Auburn! I did, too! (INDD 2006) You and all of your cute ideas inspire me to get out there and design again! War Eagle!

Thank you!!

ps – The vases are adorable, too! Thanks for posting all of these great products and designers on your website, as well as sharing all of the free fonts, with which I am OBSESSED! :) I’m ordering a stamped silver necklace from Her Southern Charm (Jennifer = so talented!) for my sister for Christmas and I’m just so excited to see what you will have discovered and want to share every time I check out your website.

The vases and platters are beautiful and so practical too! I can’t wait to check the website to look more! Thanks for sharing! Carla

ItzLisa November 18, 2009 at 8:21 am

All of her pieces are intricately beautiful. I think if I had to choose only one piece it would be the vase that you have your roses in. It is so detailed, inspiring and just beautifully displays colorful flowers being a neutral color as it is.

P.S. Unrelated to this post, having being home-bound with illness for 2 years now, I want to thank you for inspiring me to learn some new hobbies; digital scrapbooking/cooking, even blogging.

Jess November 18, 2009 at 8:33 am
