I loved stuffed jalapenos on the grill! They are great! Thanks for the great giveaway!
My husband makes the best grilled jalapeno poppers. We make them almost every weekend during the summer. He fills them with cream cheese and wraps them with bacon. YUM YUM!!! I love them.
This is the best giveaway ever!! My husband and I grill all year long.. it would be so cool to have one for the road! My favorite thing to grill is chicken that has been marinated in Chiavetta’s sauce!! My northern family introduced it to me recently and it is the best!
Of course, I love my grilled steak, but my all time summer favorite is zucchini from my garden! I julienne it, spray it with butter flavored Crisco, then season it with salt, pepper, and sesame seeds. Mmmmm! Delicious and healthy!!
One of the best things I have ever had grilled was our Thanksgiving turkey. My Step-Dad decided to grill the turkey one year and it was yummy!
What an amazing give-away!! I absolutely adore grilled *anything* BUT, probably my very favorite is just a plain ole’ ordinary everyday Burger! I mix in garlic, worchestershire sauce, Cavenders Greek Spice, minced onion and a touch of pineapple juice! The best!! Have a great week
~Mary
My fave grilled food is salmon(wrapped in foil and smothered in lemon and butter). Add a side of grilled garlic zucchini and squash. MMMM LOVE summer grillin’! I have been known to brave the cold at the beginning of winter to have a good steak, too.
My favorite thing to make on the grill would have to be rosemary chicken with roasted corn! YUM-O!!! :)
Our favorite place to grill is at the lake! EVERYTHING tastes better grilled at the lake! lol And there’s no skimping on food while camping…steaks, chicken, fish…yummmmmm!
I love to make kabobs with pineapple, red and green bellpeppers and onions. So yummy!!!
My favorite thing to eat off the grill is my dad’s cabbage!! (He also cooks a mean steak!)
My FAVORITE thing on the grill is a good steak. We bought some Porterhouse steaks a few months ago, and paired it with grilled corn on the cob, and foil packs of veggies. Delish!!
I love portobello mushroom burgers….yum!
Great giveaway! The best thing I think I’ve had on a grill is my late husbands steaks! Tender, juicy, just right! I also like veggies on the grill – I pretty much like anything cooked on a grill! :)
The recipe you listed sounds so good! I’ll have to try that! My favorite thing to grill is chicken kabobs with fresh peppers/veggies! What a generous giveaway, thanks for hosting it.
mmmm grilled sweet corn and hawaiian smoked chicken :) delish!
I think my all-time favorite food from the grill is pineapple. Yum!
The best thing I ever grilled in Pol-ka-kee, it is korean beef, thinly sliced meat, the longer you marinate it, the best the taste it. It will melt in your mouth
Anything and Everything grilled….steaks, chicken, pork chops, brats and burgers, all veggies and especially pineapples. My son is leaving for college soon and the grill and assessories would make a great going away gift for him.
Tuna…Coated in chinese 5 spice…so good!!!
Pizza on the BBQ….wow my chicken pesto with fresh mozzarella and basil gets me every time. I have it on the menu for tomorrow..might have to make it tonight.
What a wonderful prize, gets me going, our favorite grilled food is ribeye steaks, yummmm, with grilled corn on the cob and grilled potatoes drizzled with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Thank you very much for the opportunity.
Oh, my very favorite thing grilled is my Dad’s marinated chicken. With frog-eye salad and watermelon!
i love to cut up potatoes, carrots, sweet onion…wrap in heavy foil…and add butter and salt/pepper…plop it on the grill for 30 minutes..or til done…yum
Wow, very cool! The best grilled thing I love is hotdogs done by my hubby. No kidding…hotdogs! He makes them perfect every time. ;)
- April W
ohh.. i hope i win!! what a cool prize:) i could grill out everyday.. nothing beats a grilled burger:)
I love to grill steak, chicken, and veggies. I put the veggies in a big foil dish (like the disposable lasagna ones from the store) and cover with foil – salt, pepper, and butter. So yum! The best thing I’ve ever eaten off a grill was at a brai in Africa. We had SPEARS cooking over an open flame with water buffalo, kudu (big elk-like critter), and my all-time favorite – OSTRICH. It was amazing, and the pure flavor was just so perfect. I’d give anything for a big, juicy ostrich steak cooked over a grill – with or without the spear, I won’t be picky!
I enjoy grilling fresh tomatoes, green peppers and onions on the grill along with a large potatoe. When the potatoe is done, I slice it open, spread it apart and add a scoop of plain yogurt along with the veggies. Then sprinkle with Sarah’s Seasonings. It’s easy, filling and healthy.
I love to grill shrimp. I live in a small town in South Louisiana, though, and it looks like fresh Gulf shrimp will not be on my menu anytime soon thanks to the oil spill. Will have to brush up my steak-grillin’ skills!
Toss up between grilled brats or hamburgers!
I love a juicy bone-in ribeye steak! But i’ll also gladly take a tasty burger too. :) Love grilling!
Grilled chicken is my favorite and turkey burgers :) Now I’m hungry lol.
Amanda, the best thing I ever had bbq’d was a whole turkey..now grilling is a bit different..I love grilled veggies..gosh I would love to have one of these…so easy to just pop in the jeep and take..
I throw almost anything on the grill! My favs are probably rosemary shrimp kabobs and any kind of meat. Grilled meat is delicious! We also grill our veggies and some fruits. Makes for some tasty combos.
During BBQ season, I keep a tupperware container in my fridge with basic marinade in it for veggies and recycle it for the next batch of veggies. You can pour some out and use it for your meat, too.
Leftovers are great in omelettes, quiches, casseroles, and easy pizza toppings. I love BBQ season so much, I have nearly killed our grill with all of my adventures. :)
I love grilled flank steak! Whip up a quick marinated flank steak with grilled pineapple – yummy!
My favorite is grilled bacon covered shrimp with bbq sauce. We also make it with part tiger sause and honey….oh soooo good.
Hope I win!!
The best thing I ever ate grilled was corn on the cob. It’s something so simple, but there’s nothing like it!
Thanks!

Barb
The best thing that I ever ate grilled was sliced eggplant marinated in a balsamic reduction that was wrapped around feta and dill.
Delicious and tender!
Hmmmm… My all-time favorite is still good ol’ hamburgers grilled by my dad. The NON-lean ground beef, not by a long shot. A nice juicy grilled burger… Mmmmmm… One time he grilled a turkey at the lake cabin. That was pretty good too, but I still like his hamburgers. (As long as he didn’t turn mine into a hockey puck, which is how he and my mom like them.) :)
Any meat, vegetable or fruit tastes so good when grilled! I usually don’t eat hamburgers or hot dogs, or even sausages, except when they are grilled, the taste is so much better! Add to this the whole experience… usually friends around chatting, having fun… summer + grill is just perfect!
My favorite thing grilled is chicken kabobs-made with red peppers, squash, onions, and pineapple! The best!
Since the question is the best thing I “ever ate” I have to say it is grilled conch with cilantro lime butter. Now I do not prepare it, but I have eaten it and it is delicious. My dad used to make it all the time. You must be in the tropics to eat it and if you are ever in Jamaica or Puerto Rico (where I am from ) you can buy the conch with our without its shell and prepare it yourself. I prefer to have someone else do it for me. May sound yucky but it is not yucky at all, it is delicious!!
Great summer giveaway! :)
Our favorite dinner to grill is teriyaki salmon. A great appetizer is onion and bell pepper slices with feta cheese in them, grill them until the cheese melts. Delish!!
The grill makes everything better… my favorite is chicken!
Pizza is my favorite, but we tried artichokes last night. Good but are a lot of work to eat.
I love these drawings & thanks for the chance to win!! I love grilled pineapple chicken kabobs with seasoned veggies foiled.
Anything my dad grills! :) Burgers, ribs, chicken….it’s all great!
My uncle makes a mean fajita!!
I love grilled anything…., but just recently I did a grilled pork tenderloin and it was YUMMY!!!
I always love a good grilled burger but one time my hubby grilled pineapple and that was sooo good. We invited the neighbors over and enjoyed and took pictures!
My favorite thing grilled could really be anything my husband makes! But a few specifics do come to mind: pork chops, cedar smoked short ribs, corn on the cob (still in the husk while cooked), seasonal vegetables, and my new favorite, vine-ripened tomatoes stuffed with smoked mozzarella! we use our grill a lot, so much that we could really use a new one!
I put corn on the cob on the grill – just as it is – no husking. As long as you keep turning the cob, it cooks in it’s own package! It’s DELICIOUS!
The best thing I ever ate “grilled” was my aunt Laura and Grandma’s “cola burgers” – made with actual Coca-Cola! It might sound strange, but they are DELICIOUS!!
What an awesome giveway! I love it when my husband makes steaks on the grill but my absolute favorite is when you grill the veggies on it inside a baggie.
Grilled Boudin!!! Can’t beat it.
Oh my – I am getting hungry just reading all these fabulous grilling suggestions. I have many favourites, but my husband’s grilled rib-eye steaks are fabulous. Or grilled shrimp drizzled with fresh-squeezed lemon and chopped fresh thyme. Or grilled chicken breast, just with seasoning salt. Or grilled chicken thighs (skin on – not going healthy with this one) that have been marinated in hoison sauce – they caramelize so nicely. Grilled hamburgers + hot dogs. Or grilled pineapple, cherry tomatoes, and pat-a-pan baby squash. The list goes on and on. We grill all year round, despite having very cold winters. Thank you for a chance to win!
Grilled prawns with chili veggies {mmmmmm}
I love grilled vegetables, especially asparagus and green beans!
I think the best thing I ever ate grilled was… pound cake! It was served with fresh whipped cream and strawberries!! It was so good!
I am so lucky to have a husband who loves to grill, he grills steaks, chicken, and burgers, my favorite would be his chicken, so good, and add some veggies from his garden we have a healthy perfect dinner
My alltime favorite grilling item would what we call a “hobo pack”. We put our fav veggies including carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, onions, peppers, zucchini etc. Really whatever we have in the house. We stick them all in tinfoil and put olive oil over the veggies. Mmmmm….. Good!
My favorite grilled item is asparagus. Mmmm. A little olive oil and salt and a few minutes on each side and there you have it, pefection!
I love a recipe I have for grilled chicken. It’s super simple but really yummy. It’s got cumin, chili powder, onion powder and garlic powder, salt, olive oil and the juice of one lime. So tasty!
My dad always grills hamburgers and bratwurst on the grill. Best.summer.food.ever. :)
Thanks for the giveaway!
What an awesome give away! Your blog is so fun, inspiring and we can win awesome stuff! Thanks Amanda! I look forward to reading every day. My favorite thing grilled is Salmon. I do not have an amazing recipe or anything but Salmon is so good on the grill. We used to cook out all the time, even in the dead of winter. Now my daughter has moved out on her own and wants a grill. This would be perfect for her. Thank you again Amanda (also my daughter’s name :)!
That is so cool! I love this giveaway!
marinated shrimp. MMM…Fabulous!
When my husband was in the Army we grilled these hamburgers that were to die for. They had a marinade that he made and mixed with the hamburger meat. After they were cooked we topped with bacon and cheese. They melted in our mouths they were so tender and good! Love grilling out side.
The best thing I have ever eaten grilled is grilled salmon and grilled corn-on-the-cob. The best thing in the hot Arizona summers is to grill and this is one of most favorite dinners.
Oh such a perfect giveaway with the summer in full force… I love everything on the grill and use it just about everyday but my favorite thing is Lobster on the grill. Yummy.
I love making grilled corn on the cob with grilled chicken kabobs nicely seasoned! We put onions, green peppers and tomatoes with it too. Makes a great summertime feast for our family!!
I love corn on the cob that was grilled!
I also love the way that my mum used to cut into a loaf of french bread, fill it with cheese or herb butter, and then wrap it in foil to put on the grill… mmmmmhhhhh
I need a new grill!!!! We love to cook veggie kabobs with pineapple. Not sure why warm, grilled pineapple tastes so good, but it does!! I love to add colored peppers and red or purple onion, with baby bella shrooms ;) YUMM
i LOVE grilled veggies… any kind… but especially grilled asparagus
I love grilling fresh corn on the cob! Yum!
My husband makes these Thai marinated sates on the grill. They are so awesome. Everyone who comes to our house requests them! YUMMY! Love the idea of a portable grill to take on picnics and the Crisco sprays sound interesting. I’ve never used them before.
Steak and squash… I love a good steak… My husband is the master of our grill. BTY, Today is his birthday… Happy Birthday, Kevin..
I LOVE LOVE LOVE corn grilled!! It’s so sweet and juicy!! Would love to win this package!
Thanks!
Mmmmm! I love just about anything off of the grill! But my favorite has to be my husband’s steaks. He is our grill master! ;)
I love me some good ol’ chicken kabobs marinated in a garlic and herb marinade. But I’ve also recently fallen in love with a really great turkey burger recipe!
Grilled corn! We found a recipe in a magazine for a sour cream/mexican mixture on top that is delish!!
I love chuck roast seared and slow cooked, with hickory chips added to the coals .
I like to put it in a zipper-type plastic bag along with chopped garlic and barbecue sauce and let it marinate for 8-24 hours. Chuck can be tough unless it is cooked slowly, but if done right….it’ll melt in your mouth!
Specialty hot links from a little store in Longview, Tx. Those were the best EVER grilled. Now we don’t live there any more and I sooooooo miss them. Grilled Redfish is good too!
Smiles~
Marilyn
I loove grilled fish of any kind, and I especially enjoy putting clams on the grill!
It has to be simple grilled bbq chicken – my dad’s is the best!!
Grilled Scallops are the best….
Everything tastes better on the grill! My new favorite thing is grilled pizza. YUM! I’m actually making grilled corn for dinner tonight.
Smores!!! :)
& of course anything that my hubby can think of to grill up!
Grilled corn! Yeah buddy!! Yummo!! Peel em back and get all the silk off, spray with olive oil spray, put your favorite seasoning on there (I use Cavenders), then grill for about an hour and Bam!! Booyaa baby!! It’s the bomb!!
I love grilled Veggies on the grill..and you can’t go wrong with grilled chicken…YUM!!!
The best thing I ever ate grilled were Oysters! It was actually my first time tail-gating and they blew me away!
This would be so awesome for tail-gating, especially with Football season quickly approaching. War Eagle!!!!
My favorite is grilled tri-tip that has been marinated in lemon juice and beef stock. Yum!!!!!
One of the best things I’ve ate that I grilled is shrimp to go with my shrimp and grits recipe. A lot of recipes don’t call for your shrimp to be grilled, but I thought “why not” grill it up! Also grilled some peppers and green onions to go along with it. Once everything was all cooked and ready I took my pot of grits, placed them on the grill and mixed it all together…lots of butter, garlic and even diced tomatoes too….talkin about good…honey hush!!! On the YUM SCALE it’s a 5 for sure!
I LOVE grilled veggies as a side when I’m grilling our dinner. The kids gobble them up too ;-)
The best thing I’ve ever eaten grilled is the Bourbon Salmon from Fresh Market. Holy cow; it is so juicy and sweet but that little bit of spice is so perfect. I really need to figure out how to make a good bourbon marinade. I could eat anything if it was marinated in that stuff. Yum!
The best thing I ever ate grilled is so simple…..Salmon rubbed with olive oil and just seasoned with salt and pepper. YUM!
I love grilled turkey burgers in fact I love any turkey grilled :)! I mix in some fresh parsely and a pinch of cajun seasoning with the turkey patties. I then add a slice of red onions, lettuce and swiss cheese(any cheese will do). Add your condiments of choice and you have a great, yummy, turkey burger.
My nephew-in-law (who happens to be older than I!) made these amazing dry rubbed steaks and the most amazing grilled corn for us on a family cookout. They were the most mouthwatering steaks I’ve ever had, and despite having the recipie…I can’t cook them like he does!
