I was excited about this dish, but, sorry to report, I was disappointed. Love all the ingredients individually, but put together – It was entirely too salty. With the cheese and bacon being salty already, I think there is no need to add any extra salt. All 4 people eating it complained. I’ll probably try it again one day with out adding salt….and maybe buying low salt bacon, too.

I LOVE the mozza pearls. I’ve never used them before but will definitely be using them again.

Hi Amanda,
Thank you for sharing this recipe. We tried it Tuesday night. As they say around here you have to be careful not to leave your car windows open or you’ll find zucchini on your car seat! My husband wasn’t too excited at first because he is kind of a meat and potatoes guy but he loved it and took seconds. We are having the leftovers tonight.
