I made this yesterday for my 5 year olds birthday as “dirt”. Let me tell you I have never seen adults eat dirt so fast! It was wonderful, thank you for sharing your recipe.

Amanda, wanted to let you know I made the sweet bread, it was so good. I am teaching my son how to cook and we added this to our chicken stuffed shells and chocolate eclair. I have to say I love your site, I have made more recipes from here than I have from most of my store bought cookbooks. I look forward to reading your blog. Thanks for sharing.

For that trifle, try adding crushed up Heath bars. You can sometimes find them in the baking aisle, or you may have to cut them up with a knife yourself, but it is oh so worth it!
