I made these cookies on Saturday. Sunday morning I threw away every other chocolate chip cookie recipe i’ve collected over the years. I certainly won’t be using them anymore. These were INCREDIBLE. I adjusted for high altitude by decreasing the butter and sugar by about 1 1/2 Tbl each, adding an extra Tbl of flour (I did half white and half wheat flour).

Anyway, they were the best ever. Thank you a bazillion.

I found your blog from pinterest (the best site EVER) and I made these cookies this evening for some friends who are coming over. I didn’t have time to get a muffin top pan but I just made them on cookie sheets and they turned out so yummy. Thanks for sharing! =)

I have to try and make those biscuits (we don’t call them cookies here ;-) ) – one question.. I didn’t see any rising agent in the recipe, does your flour have a rising agent in it?

Made the cookies tonight and they were the BEST EVER!!!!! Thanks for the recipe. Very easy to do and so delicious. I’m a sucker for salty/sweet. You seemed to like the PB&J ones more so I will have to try those next. Thanks again for your great site.

DONE! I am away from home and got advice on where to find a decent kitchen store, got the pan, and got baking. Awesome. I reduced the salt since my mom can’t handle much any more, and omitted it from the top of all the cookies I baked in the center wells. Still great, we’ll be enjoying these for a while. They are sweet and delicious but one cookie is definitely more than enough, so no overeating necessary… I’ll be putting them on my Christmas baking/giving list.

I printed the recipe so my 11-year-old daughter and I can make these at my mom’s this weekend. What 11 year old likes salt + caramel + DARK chocolate? OH YEAH. Mine. :)
