Look Who’s Back!

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

It’s Louie!

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

With his curly ears and floppy jowls…

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

And wrinkly, pudgy paws.

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

Did I mention his giant, floppy ears?

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

Miley and Howie got to see their cousin Louie this weekend over Thanksgiving.

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

He’s a little bit bigger since the last time they saw him.

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

But try as he might, Louie still can’t keep up with this rambunctious duo.

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

He just howls to keep them in line.

Wait for me!

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

Doh. Where did they go?

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

He will hightail it to the nearest human willing to give a belly rub, though.

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

Louie got lots of belly rubs this weekend. And scratches behind the ears.

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

Did somebody say belly rub?

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

Cutie.

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

This face is kinda hard to resist.

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

Those cashmere ears. That lagging tongue.

Louie the Lemon Basset Hound Puppy

But bassets don’t have a lock on those crazy, mid-run faces.

Here’s my girl catching her tennis ball mid air.

Happy Tuesday!

Love,
Howie, Louie, and Miley

OMG how adorable. Great pictures! The mid-air face…priceless. However did you do the animation? I had 5 doggies together this Thanksgiving. It was great. All the doggy cousins….most not used to a big yard to run around in. I tried all weekend to get them together for a group shot…but no dice. Any tips?

Boston. Cuteness. Overload! It’s great that the dogs can play together. My girl Boston exhibits severely aggressive behavior with other dogs and most of the time I think she only tolerates her brother. I wish we could take her back to the dog park and let her play with other pups.

I know this is very random… but I have two things…
1) I envy the fact that someone is wearing flip flops on Thanksgiving!
2) I MUST know what kind of flip flops those are!! They are too cute! and i NEED a pair!

Thanks ; )

Those pictures turned out great! I love the last one! As a baby sitter of a few Boston’s I had to laugh out loud at the thought of poor Louie trying to run and keep up… Boston’s can really fly when they get excited or hyped up. People picture the stubby bulldog Boston’s from TV, but that’s really not the case. Many of them are very lean and active. I don’t think poor Louie stood a chance! I know my poor little Shih Tzu couldn’t keep up with those long legs!

Loved the pictures. Question how do you get the picture to animate like that. We are building a house and I have taken a picture either weekly or when major things happen at the site from the same place. I would love to know how to put them in action like that. Help. I am blogging stupid but would love to know more.

I LOVE all your pictures of your adorable Louie! My children thought it was so neat that your Bassett Hound looks a lot like ours AND has the same name! Our Louie has the same markings as yours; but where yours is tan, ours is darker brown.
