This is our new robot helper around the house, whom we’ve affectionately named Mr. MagNeato. He’s the Neato XV-21 Robot Vacuum cleaner, and he sucks up dirt and dust like a magnet! We added the Boston Terrier sticker ourselves, but personally I think they should come standard. Don’t you? ;)
1. Vacuum Lines.
Nothing brightens up a room like vacuum lines! I love the Neato because it doesn’t just bounce around the house haphazardly. It uses a laser to scan the room first and map the best, most efficient route before getting to work. The route changes every time it vacuums, so it’s sure to hit every nook and cranny. The Neato knows where it’s been and where it hasn’t, so it won’t miss a spot. As it vacuums, the sensor continues to scan, enabling the robot to navigate furniture, walls, stairs or Miley and Howie.
2. Powerful
The Neato XV-21 is specially designed for pet owners and allergy sufferers. I am amazed at how powerful the suction is! It doesn’t just push trash on the floor around. It picks it up! I was afraid it wouldn’t work as well as a regular vacuum cleaner, but I am amazed at how clean our carpets look. We did the old vacuum comparison test: We first vacuumed with our regular vacuum cleaner, then set the Neato to work while we put our feet up and relaxed. Look at what all the Neato picked up that our other vacuum left behind! This little compartment needs to be emptied after every use, but it’s so easy to just grab it and dump the dirt in the trash — so much easier than large, fumbly canisters or bags, and you know you’re starting with a clean slate before every single vacuum.
3. Schedule
You can schedule the Neato to vacuum for you whenever you want — when you’re at work, at the grocery store, or even while you sleep. Put your feet up and relax while Neato does the work! :) (He is just as loud as a regular vacuum cleaner though, so we don’t generally run him while we’re watching TV. :)) Last minute company coming over? Let Neato do the floors while you take care of the bathrooms. He works great on my tile floor as well! Neato can easily maneuver small obstacles such as rugs and door frames, so no need to “babysit” him. I have our Neato scheduled to run at night while we sleep, so we wake up to freshly vacuumed carpets in the morning.
My floors actually look like this all the time now, and all I have to do is press a button!
4. Value
The Neato XV-21 retails for $429.99. I kind of balked at the price at first, until I thought about it. There are several other extremely popular vacuum cleaners on the market right now that retail for upwards of $500-$600. And they don’t do the vacuuming for you! With the Neato, you don’t have to haul out a heavy machine. You don’t have to push it around every single room in your house. You don’t have to wind up the cord and put it away.

I clean the living room area . There are usually shoes and dog beds to move and pillows to pick up and put back onto the couch. Then onto the front bathroom which is the kids bathroom as well. Thank you for your giveaway the vacuum would be a wonderful help.
The kitchen is the first thing I clean. I have three kids and they are forever using cups and bowls and such. They are also really good at dropping food on the floor or spilling things. They are pretty good at cleaning up after themselves but they don’t always get everything.
I usually start with the kitchen while the hubs does the bathroom. Then we meet in the middle. I would love the neato forever for de-dog-hairing the floors!

It’s usually the bathroom for obvious reasons, and my living room looks straight into my ktichen sink…so I always have to make sure all the dishes are donw and put away! I usually have to run the vaccuum to sweep up any stray dog hair (and whatever else) my little furball tracks in
If it’s short notice, family room first (and hope no one wants the house tour!). A quick declutter, hit any visible dust and cat hair on the furniture, then vacuum. If I’ve got any time left, I move to the guest bathroom. Gosh, it’d be great to have the Neato XV-21 doing the vacuuming while I did the rest! Loved your review – very detailed and informative.
HAHAHA, what is the first thing we clean……Our fish tank, we have a HUGE saltwater fish tank, sometimes I wonder if that is the only reason some people come to visit. We always give it a quick Windex on the outside and a quick clean on the inner glass before company shows up. Thanks for the chance to win the awesome vacuum!!
we do a crazy power-straighten of the kitchen & living room. our place gets cluttered so quickly, it’s great to have someone come over & make us straighten up!
Since I work full time and recently had a knee replacement this gadget would be perfect to keep my living room clean and bedrooms when company comes. Hopefully my 2 Bostons will not chase after it like they do to my regular canister vacumn cleaner

My first thing to tackle is always the Guest baths, then the kitchen, as it will have been a wreck from all the cooking I do for any entertaining at our house. I save the floors for last, since any dust or loose crap from tables will be knocked off onto it. My Hubs and I have talked about one of these guys just recently, but the cost was a bit out of our range! To win one would be the talk of the neighborhood around here! Got my fingers crossed on this one!!!

This would be so great!!! I have RA and 2 chihuahuas…let me tell you the two definitely don’t mix. BRA (that’s Before RA, lol) I loved to run the sweeper, every day! I love how the clean carpet feels on my feet, after all that was a big selling feature for purchasing the carpet. Then we got the 2 fur kids and I got RA =( The carpet has been sooo neglected. Even though they say that chihuahuas hardly shed, that’s not true at all or I have 2 of the exceptions =/ I could really put this to good use! Wondering how it will look with Chihuahua stickers!!! =)

When company is coming over, I first clean the guest bathroom. Then I pick up dog bones, balls, ropes, etc. so no one steps on them. My family needs the Neato Robot Vacuum cleaner! We have 2 teenage boys, two great dogs, and one cat. I could really put it to good use! I hope this is the ‘lucky’ random comment.
With 3 pets in the house, it’s always the floors! And the bathrooms, and messy kitchen counter!

Our first job, and usually again the last job is the floor–carpets, hard wood and tile. With two cats and a dog we have so much hair to combat, not even to mention the dirt from the yard!! We vacuum and when we finish we still seem to have “tumbleweeds” of hair rolling across the floor when we are done! This vacuum would be amazing to win!!

When company comes the first thing I clean are my dishes. I love to cook so to entertain properly I’ve got to have clean dishes.
Kitchen, kitchen, kitchen. Are home is a big open are with the kitchen, dining, and living room all meshing together. The dining room and living room are always clean but for me, I don’t have a dishwasher so I’m always doing dishes.
First of all I fluff the pillows and hide eveything in the laundry room that does not belong in the den, shoes, etc. Then tidy up the kitchen and bathrooms and then I’ll try and vaccuum. I have a bulky vaccuum cleaner and it’s a job to get out, empty and put away. Especially with two kids, one running around and one crawling!
