my paring knife!!! it is the ONLY knife i own, save for silverware-set knives, which are kind of just there and not actually effective. i use my paring knife for everything… chopping, dicing, carving meats, … everything! i could not function in my kitchen without it.
The herb mill looks amazing! I have only one Microplane in my collection (the zester), but it has held up better than any other similar item I’ve owned.
A good knife makes cooking much easier and more pleasant.
I actually use my kitchen shears for a TON of meal time prep and serve (lots of little bites for our three little men). Makes my job so much easier. LOVE kitchen gadgets! Thanks, Amanda!

Hmmm….second to having a “hot” husband, my favorite tool would be….an awesome set of knives that actually work. The knife set I have now isn’t all that great, but they do work and without them, I would be lost.

Blender, i’m a smoothie lover and i can never be without a blender, such a good kitchen tool for making healthy morning smoothies and ice-cold-fresh-fruit cooling smoothies in summer!
I can”t live without my food processor . It makes everything easier! What I want is a deep fryer but that is a dream! I have wanted a micro plane for grating for a long time but just never get around to it! They are the perfect tool for any job! I see them on cooking shows all the time and am so jealous! Maybe this is my moment!
Sadly its my pizza cutter. But hopefully having some new tools will inspire me to get to cooking! :) I know my hubby would love that!
i would love to have a herb mill… as i love to cook and to eat… and no meal is complete untill i add some herbs…

I just did a post about Baking Supplies (and the post before that was my new camera/computer backup and I linked up your video that you did on the bag…I am lovin’ the new bag. Traveling tomorrow so hopefully I love it in the airport!) but my fave kitchen tool is a really sharp knife. I use that 20+ times a day!

I have two peelers, one is nice & sharp the other very dull.
I had hubby using the dull one and I used the sharp, clever huh?
Its not like he knew any better. LOL.

I think every kitchen should have a proper and sharp knives. Nothing is worse than dull kitchen tools ;)
I would have to say my favorite kitchen tool is a Pizzelle Iron. It is a staple in my home. Normally Pizzelle’s are made on or around holidays and special occasions like Christmas or for weddings but on rare occasion I get a request to make a batch. The other nice thing about them is you can use it to make waffle cones for ice cream if you have the rolling cone for it.
I am all about a peeler. It same saves soo much time in the kitchen!
My go-to kitchen tools are first and foremost good sharp knives, then a good peeler, microplane graters and my food processor in that order. Pliable spatulas are a must as well.
I have 2 i can’t live without… my peppermill and my garlic press. The flavor these bring mmmmmmm
This might sound silly but my favorite kitchen gadget is the little terra cotta disc that you soak in water then use to keep your brown sugar soft. I have lots of other kitchens items I like but this one I LOVE! I hated getting out my brown sugar and having it be hardened into a brick. I haven’t had the problem even once since getting the disc. It has made using my brown sugar a joy instead of a pain! I bake a lot more now that I have it!

I love my porcelain ginger grater. So good for making ginger juice, too, just grate then squeeze the grated ginger into a bottle and add to meals and drinks. Perfect for keeping warm in the cooler climes as ginger warms the body from the inside out.

I bake more than I cook, and my ultimate favourite tool that I (nearly) never go without is my Mum”s spatula. Good for scraping every little bit of dough, batter, frosting or anything else for that matter!

My fav kitchen tool has to be my microwave! Working full time as a nurse and working on my Master’s at the same time does not leave a whole lot of time for cooking. My microwave is my savior!

My favourite and most useful is my chef’s knife. Buy a good quality one and it will last for years. Use it for everything from chopping pumpkin to fine herbs.
Has to be my Kitchen Aid Mixer! I mix everything in that thing!
I cannot live without my huge butcher knife. I do everything with it. My mom is the complete opposite. She cannot stand a huge knife and would rather work with the smallest knife.
I must have the cheese grater!!!!!
My favorite tool is my food chopper – I use it all the time to chop onions, tomatoes – it really helps when making homemade salsa!

I love my gadget that makes perfect dough balls. I have the one that makes small cookie size and the larger that makes perfect muffins.
My ice cream scoop that warms the ice cream to make it come out of the container easier.

My favorite kitchen gaget is my vidalia chop wizard. I use it to chop veggies and all kinds of things. Wouldn’t be with out it.
I would love that grater. I’ve been using my cheese grater lol I’ve looked high and low for a coarse grater but haven’t found one. We don’t have a kitchen store around here. All of those gadgets look great! My favorite gadget right now is my measuring scoop that adjust. One scooper is all i need. I slide this adjuster to the proper measurement and thats it. Of course I still have the old stand by measuring spoon set but the scooper is so cool. I think I got it from the pampered chef.
My favorite gadget is my kitchen scissor from Cutco. Those things cut through anything — and are so easy to clean. I use them several times a day!

I would love the Herb Mill! That would be so helpful in my kitchen, I use fresh cilantro and it’s messy to chop up by hand! I love my stick butter slicer, it makes using a tablespoon of butter so easy, everyone should have one!

It fits so perfectly comfortable in my hand.
The timer, it is my best friend. I use when I cook, clean, sew, knit and quilt. The food does not burn, the house gets clean and when I have only a certain amount of fun time available it allows me to play. My home is connected to my business and when I do not use a timer I forget the food is cooking.

My MIL gave me a microplane grater a couple of years ago, and I just started using it earlier this year…I don’t know how I ever lived without it! I’ve asked for the herb mill grinder for Christmas, but now I have lots of other things on my wishlist!
Our set of really good knives… I didnt know I needed them before I got them as a wedding gift. Now if you took them away I would hold a memorial service.

My must-haves change all the time. This week it would be a waffle iron. Ours bit the dust and you don’t know what a tragedy that is in this house.
My favorite gadget would have to be my pastry cutter, or maybe my spider, or the egg slicer? Although not really what I would call a gadget, I have a favorite slotted spoon. I know, sounds crazy, doesn’t it?
My Blender, it’s near 20 years old & is on it’s last limbs, but I can hid green beans in sauces or chilli my 5 year old doesn’t know he’s eating it.

Sharp knives. I don’t own a microplane.
I’m a simple cook – probably my big spoons & spatulas.
I would have to say my large sharp knife. I cut, stir, use to hold food in the pan while draining water, grease, whatever. I’m sure I do a lot more with it. It’s just a part of me in the kitchen. The only time my knife takes a back seat to anything is corn on the cob season. Then it’s the butter spreader.
I am not very good in the kitchen so I have no suggestions for kitchen tools. That is why I need to WIN these!
My favorite kitchen tool is my Kitchen Aide stand mixer! I use it at least six times a week!

I love my kitchen shears – so much that I have two for when one is in the dishwasher!
I can’t live without my Adjust-A-Cup measuring cup. It’s skinny which means it takes up less space, it’s a multi-measure cup in one, and the best part of all? It makes measuring butter, peanut butter, and honey as easy as can be.
I guess I might have to say my whisk. You can use it for so many different things and even when the power goes out or you don’t have access to an electric or stand mixer, you can still use the whisk! :)
My favorite kitchen tool is my big bamboo spoon. I use it for so many tasks when cooking and baking, and it has remained much nicer & cleaner looking over the years than regular wooden spoons do.
My favorite tool is probably my big Cutco knife. I really need to send that thing off to be sharpened!

My fav. kitchen tool is my all purpose spreader from Pampered Chef. But I do make a lot of Peanut Butter sandwiches.

I love my microplane zester. Cook’s country rated it the best too! I would love to try all the other ones. I also like my OXO heat resistant silicone spatula. I got it from TJ Max and I use it every morning to make eggs. It has metal inside the silicone to keep it rigid. Another favorite tool is my mini spatula from Pampered Chef. It works great on warm cookies. I guess I like spatulas;)
