The winner of the Masterbuilt Indoor Electric Turkey Fryer Giveaway is:
#1216 Andrea
Congratulations Andrea! I’ve sent you an email. Enjoy your Masterbuilt Fried Turkey Thanksgiving!
Just in time for Thanksgiving, I’ve got a fun giveaway today from Masterbuilt for everything you need for a Fried Turkey Thanksgiving! Frying a turkey in hot oil definitely calls for caution, but fortunately Masterbuilt developed the Butterball Indoor Electric Turkey Fryer to achieve a perfect fried turkey with peace of mind. I had the pleasure of sampling this turkey last May at BlogHer Food in Atlanta, and I still can’t stop thinking about it. It was so rich, incredibly moist, and packed with flavor. So delicious! I knew immediately that I wanted to share this giveaway with you guys!
Check out this Cajun Fried Turkey recipe from John McLemore’s “Dadgum That’s Good” cookbook to see how easy it is to quickly fry up a turkey for Thanksgiving. The winner will receive everything he or she needs to recreate this recipe!
UPDATE: I made this Cajun Fried Turkey for Thanksgiving and it was fantastic! The fryer and recipe were so easy to use and follow. And it cooks so quickly! I love knowing that I could easily whip up another one in less than an hour. This juicy, spicy turkey was definitely the star of our Thanksgiving table this year.

Good luck! This should be a fun one, can’t wait to read you guys’ favorite Thanksgiving dishes! Yum!

My Grandmas deviled eggs and dirt pudding, which she brings to Thanksgiving every year. We all “fight” over both dishes. My brother usually attempts to hide the dirt pudding from the rest of us. Maybe it’s the memories those two dishes have created more than the actual taste of them, but I am not sure any Thanksgiving would be complete without them.
My grandfather was a machinist, immigrated from Holland. He had a co-worker who was German, who gave him a recipe for pork sausage/bread stuffing. This recipe has been made by our family every year for more than 80 years. It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without it!
I am really looking forward to Sweet Potato Casserole this Thanksgiving! I’m even going to try to make it myself this year.
My Mom’s sage stuffing, for sure!
I would have to say my favorite is my grandmother’s pecan pie. It is so good, I always ask her for two…one for me and the other for the rest of the family!
The Cornbread Stuffing!! YUM!!
My favorite dish is homemade cranberry sauce with bourbon and brandy mixed in – yum!
My two favorite are cranberry and orange relish and string bean casserole.
I love the turkey and stuffing sandwiches from leftovers. Somehow they taste better when they come from Thanksgiving dinner.
I’m not a big fan of traditional Thanksgiving foods like turkey, stuffing or sweet potatoes so I’ve got to say “pie”! All of them! Pumpkin, apple, olalaberry…yum yum yum!
My favorite part of Thanksgiving is squash casserole!
My favorite dish is my lentils and rice or my mom’s mashed potatoes.
Definitely my mom’s dressing (and deviled eggs)
Definitely my home made stuffing. I wait all year for it. Of course, I could make it throughout the year but it makes it taste so much better when you only get it once a year. :)
I would have to say the stuffing and my mom’s corn bread pudding. Best ever!
Wow what a great giveaway!! My husband would love if I won this:) Well I have two favorites, my Mom’s stuffing and my recipe for sweet potato casserole! I know you can make them anytime of the year but they just taste better on Thanksgiving Day and the few days following:) Gotta love leftovers!
my favorite dish is the whole meal I really can’t pick one thing. Thanksgivinig is my absolute favorite holiday!
It’s hard to pick one favorite thing. I would probably pick my grandma’s fruit salad.
WOW! another awesome giveaway from Kevin & Amanda! You guys are awesome.
It is really super of you guys to be conducting these giveaways to your dedicated readers. We all really appreciate it. My favorite Thanksgiving dish is actually two dishes combined! I love juicy turkey pieces mixed in creamy mashed potatoes. I know my husband would love this turkey frier, and one made by Masterbuilt, that is the icing on the cake! I always say it, because it’s the truth: YOU GUYS ROCK!
It would have to be the stuffing :) Thanks for the great giveaway!!
I LOVE the whole meal, but I would have to say the dark meat of the turkey is my favorite. Thanks for the great giveaway! *fingers crossed*
squash souffle – our family tradition!

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is cornbread dressing with giblet gravy. Yum!
Sweet potato dish that I saw on a tv food netowrk show. It calls for sweet potatoes to be chucnked and boiled then out in baking dish and then you add a layer of lemons and bake until potatos are fork tender then you add the marshmellows and bake until the melt on top then torch or broil to make borwn and cripsy top. Yum!
I love the whole meal—-but the family being together is the best!!!
I really don’t have a favorite…. i love EVERYTHING about thanksgiving and would really love to win this…. thanks!!!!
Wow, that fryer looks great! My favorite dish has to be stuffing with gravy. Yum!!!
My favorite Thanksgiving is undoubtedly Cajun Deep Fried Turkey. My first taste of a deep fried turkey was in 1990. A friend of mine was frying one injected with Itallial Salad Dressing. The technic was impressive but the flavoring was not. I spent the next many years frying turkeys with everything I could find off of the shelves and never liked any one of them, so I worked on developing my own. After many years I finally created an injectable marinade that hands down is better than the best selling, most popular injectable marinades on the market today. During the Thanksgiving Holidays I fry a whole lot of Turkeys for Friends, Family and customers and every year the numbers increase. Next year we will run ads and fry Turkeys for restaurants. Because of a deep fried turkey I now have a line of wonderful seasonings and injectable marinades in several flavors and working on about five more. Definitely the Deep Fried Turkey is my favorite and it changec my life.
My favorite dish is my mothers cornbread dressing!
Mine is definitely Green Bean Casserole.
My mom’s cornbread dressing is my hands down favorite!
Pumpkin Pie!
Green Bean Casserole!
Stuffing! My mom makes a very unique sausage stuffing that you slice when it comes out of the bird – it is amazing!
My grandmother’s onion dressing. It’s DELICIOUS, although it sounds kinda weird. She passed away last year, but I will be making it this year and all the years to come, in memory of her.

Love the dressing- made from scratch
Thanksgiving is surely a day to be thankful for and all the marvelous sights and tastes associated with it; however, sweet potato casserole hands down.
Definitely dressing! I’m going to make my traditional recipe this year but bake it in muffin tins. Everyone gets their own crust!
My mom’s green bean casserole (and it HAS to be fresh green beans, I can taste it already). Close second goes to my MawMaw’s southern biscuits and gravy :)
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!

This is hard, but my favorite has to be the stuffing! MMMmmMM . Thanks for the opportunity!
I know it might sound gross or cliche, but my favorite Thanksgiving dish is green bean casserole. Nobody makes it any other time except for holidays! Thanks for a great giveaway!
My mom makes a creamy spinach casserole that I just love. It tastes like spinach dip!
My favorite thanksgiving dish is in memory of my aunt lorraine…she made thee best brussel sprouts with olive oil and maple syrup…thanks aunt lorraine i will think of you fondly this first thanksgiving without you xoxo
This is a tough one- is it sweet potatoes or cranberry relish, The sweet potatoes must have marshmallow and pecan pieces and the cranberry relish must have walnut pieces! Thanksgiving isn’t the same without them.
I have to say, the turkey is my favorite, with a side of cranberry sauce! I was just talking about a deep fried turkey. I would love to win this :)
I wish it was something healthy, but I have to say…pecan pie is my favorite!
Stuffing drenched in gravy!!!! Oh yum!

I have so many favorite dishes, but I would have to say the mashed potato casserole with gravy. This fryer looks wonderful. I always hear so much about fried turkey, but never had the chance to taste fried turkey. This giveaway is awesome, thanks for the chance to win one.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
my favorite dish is pumpkin pie.
My favorite is the dressing or stuffing whichever you call it :) !!! I would love to try a fried turkey thou.
One favorite?? Close running between my mother in laws cornbread chicken dressing and my hubby’s mashed potatoes… But I love it all!!
Hands down it’s got to be the stuffing!!! I use to always put some on my daughters plate because I knew she didn’t like it and then I could always eat hers if I wanted seconds!! Now she’s caught on to a good thing and she now likes it.
My favorite Thanksgiving dish is my mom’s homemade dressing. Although the turkey I made last year was pretty amazing too!
Fried Turkey!!!!!
My mom’s sweet potatoes!
Chicken and Dressing with cranberry sauce smashed in it.
My grandmother’s thumbprint cookies:)
Sweet potato casserole!
My all time favorite dish at Thanksgiving is got to be the Sweet Potato casserole. I love eating it but really love how everyone piles it on their plates at my house. If you ask someone “Can I get you anything while I am up” it will aslways be in chorus “more sweet potato casserole please!”
I absolutely love ALL the dishes we serve at Thanksgiving, but my favorite would probably be the Cranberry Fluff Salad that I make!
oyster dressing and stuffed mushrooms. I. can’t. wait!!!
i have a guilty pleasure on Thanksgiving; the cranberry sauce in a can!! YUMM!!
I wait every year for my aunts stuffing. It’s loaded with mushrooms and cheese and pork sausage-delish!!!
I get so nostalgic over Thanksgiving. I love walking into my parents little bungalo home and the windows fogged up and Mom checking the thermostat and wondering if it’s to hot. But the stuffing from the bird has to be my favorite. I know it’s not good to stuff the bird, but at my house it’s been done for 39 years that I’m aware of and it’s the best. I’ll be at my in-laws this year 150 miles from home but as soon as I smell all the fixin’s I’ll be reminded again of home. Happy Thanksgiving!
The turkey and swiss cheese on rye bread sandwich AFTER the meal.
I love the dressing! (My birthday is the 20th – so it would be a wonderful surprise to win!!!)
It is near impossible to pick 1 favorite Thanksgiving dish (my mom is a GREAT cook) but I do always look forward to her oyster dressing!
Fave T-Day dish? Nothing better than green bean casserole…with the crunchy onion topping, of course!
My favorite part of Thanksgiving is the candied sweet potatoes! When I was young, I just ate the golden marshmallows on top. Now that I’ve ventured to the sweet potatoes, I’ve found they’re just as good as the marshmallows!
