Christmas in July Week of Giveaways! Mint Automatic Floor Cleaner for Hard Floors

Welcome to Day 2 of our Christmas in July Week of Giveaways! If you missed yesterday’s giveaway, you can still check it out and enter HERE.

Mint Automatic Floor Cleaner Giveaway and Review (Before and After Photos)

I am really impressed by the Mint Automatic Floor Cleaner. When we moved to our new house, I had no idea how to take care of hardwood floors. I also had no idea how much easier it was to see every single spec of dirt, dust, and hair on hardwood floors than carpet, lol! I felt like I was spending twice as much time cleaning my floors than before. Heck, if I’m being honest, more like twenty times more. I am not the kind of person that just loves to spend hours slaving over vacuuming and mopping my floors, so I was really intrigued by the automatic iRobot Mint Floor Cleaner.

The Mint floor cleaner uses GPS to sweep and mop hard floor surfaces. You can use a standard dry Swiffer Sweeper Cloth (or the included reusable dry cloths, I prefer the Swiffer so I can just throw it away after) to pick up dirt, dust, and debris. Then use the included microfiber cloth in mop mode to polish and cleanse the floors to high shine.  It’s compact size allows the Mint to clean under sofas and tables and gets into tight areas where standard vacuums and mops can’t reach. The Mint uses indoor GPS to help it keep track of where it has been and where it needs to go so every inch of your floor gets cleaned efficiently.

  • Sweep Mode: Moves in straight lines back and forth to efficiently and thoroughly pick up dust, dirt and hair.
  • Mop Mode: Uses a special mopping action (yes, it actually mops back and forth, lol!) and a wet microfiber cleaning cloth to pull deeper dirt and grime off your floors. A special Reservoir Cleaning Pad dispenses liquid (water or mild cleaning solution) throughout the cycle to keep the cloth damp.
  • Whisper-Quiet: The Mint is not loud like a vacuum cleaner. It cleans quietly so you can run it while watching TV, talking on the phone, having dinner, or even sleeping.

So many of you recommended protecting my hardwood floors by mopping with simply water, which is one reason why I love the Mint. I have affectionately named her Rosie, after the Jetsons’ maid. That is exactly who the Mint reminds me of, lol!

Here’s a little before and after of my floors. We did some work around the house this weekend so the floors got extra dusty from the work, compounded by leaving the door open and constantly going in and out of the house all day, tracking in extra dirt along the way.

Mint Automatic Floor Cleaner Giveaway and Review (Before and After Photos)

BEFORE: Floors after a standard vacuuming. It actually looked a lot worse before this, but as you can see, the vacuum didn’t pick up all of the fine dirt and dust.

Mint Automatic Floor Cleaner Giveaway and Review (Before and After Photos)

AFTER: Floors after running the Mint in Mop Mode. When vacuuming didn’t work, I decided to sit back and let the Mint do the work for me.

It is such a huge relief and time saver to be able to push a button and have my floors automatically cleaned for me! I can’t even calculate how much time and energy the Mint has saved me.

Here’s a short video about how the Mint cleaner works.

And here’s a handy “pinnable” image to save for later.

Never mopping my floors again! The Mint Automatic Hard Floor Cleaner dry sweeps AND wet mops. It uses GPS to keep track of where it has been and where it needs to go, so every inch of the floor gets cleaned efficiently.

You can find the iRobot Mint Cleaner 5200 on Amazon.com for $295. Check out all the positive reviews!

I completely avoid putting away the laundry. It’s exhausting – I spend more energy on avoiding it!!

  2. Jessi @ Practically Functional

The chore I avoid most is probably cleaning the bathroom! We have two cats who shed a lot, and because the bathroom usually gets steamy, the cat hair sticks to everything!!!

  3. Liz C.

Dusting – i let it pile up until I can’t stand it anymore (luckily we don’t have bad allergies!)

  4. Cortney VW

LOL……I totally try to avoid them all as long as possible! I have my don clean the toilets which is awesome! I guess the one that I dont do is dust!

Greetings from Colorado! I’m bored to death at work so I decided to browse your blog on my iphone during lunch break. I really like the information you present here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home.
I’m shocked at how quick your blog loaded on my phone .. I’m
not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyways, awesome blog!

  6. Jillian Tyre

I don’t avoid anything, I just don’t have enough time for it all. My bathroom gets skipped for too long of time periods. I wipe it, but doing the entire thing is what I dread.

Asking questions are truly good thing if you are
not understanding something totally, except this paragraph offers
    fastidious understanding yet.

Your personal statement is there to help the Uni get to
know you and help them decide if you will fit in
with their establishment. Here’s some suggested sections for your statement:. . 1) relate your work experience to the course you are applying for. Say why you want to go on that course and what you hope to achieve from it.. 2) Its not just about work, they see how social you are too so any clubs/activities outside of work should be included.. 3) Hobbies and interests. 4) Might be worth throwing in some current issues which related to your course/your hobbies etc just to re-emphasise your intelligence.. 5) Lastly say why you want to go to University. WHat do you hope to take away from the whole experience. Its obvious you want a degree so you can get a good job, but how about personal growth and development. Do you want Uni to improve your social skills? Meet people from all walks of life? Want to be thrown into a new environment?. . In essence, the personal statement is used by the Uni to get to know you aside from school life and grades.. . Hope that helps. I spent a while getting my statement write so i know how difficult this is. Good luck with everything!

  9. Michelle B

oh man, I really don’t like chores ;) I guess I’m really the WORST at putting the handwashed clean dishes away. uggg. I don’t like unloading the dishwasher ;)

  10. incensesticks.robbie-lawler.com

It’s going to be end of mine day, except before end I am reading this wonderful piece of writing to improve my experience.

  11. aimee

I really don’t like doing any cleaning, but I avoid putting laundry away the most! I don’t know why, I just hate it!

  12. Tracy

Since I’m pregnant right now, I’ve been avoiding all household chores like the plague, but usually it’s the dishes or the bathroom. :)

  13. Lisa

Try to avoid as many household chores as possible but vacuuming is possibly the WORST EVER and would avoid AT ALL COST.

  14. Janet

For some reason, I put off making the bed. I shouldn’t, since it only takes a couple of minutes!

  15. Susan

My least favorite household chore is dusting/cleaning our window blinds. Our entire house (less the basement) has hardwood so this tool would be awesome!

  16. Anna

I absolutely hate scrubbing the shower/tub!! I will dust, scrub, sweep, wash, and vacuum all over the house, but Ialways leave the shower scrubbing for last. :)

  17. Tina

I would not mind doing household chores but just do not have the time (though will admit dusting and sweeping are the worst). We have wood floors because we have 2 children with disabilities and 1 is in a wheelchair-we found these floors the easiest for them and look beautiful if you are able to keep up with the cleaning.

  18. Karyn - Pint Sized Baker

folding and putting away laundry… it’s nonstop! And cleaning up after the cats…. yuck!

  19. Marie

I hate folding and hanging laundry. It’s totally embarrassing, but we have a basket of what my husband calls Mt. Laundry in the bedroom. We pull out what we want to wear and spray a little Downey Wrinkle Release, and off we go. Yes, I really am that lazy.

  20. kat g

toilets!!! If there’s ever is robot for that, I’ll give up going out to eat for a year to get my hands on one.

  21. blog.com

Spot on with this write-up, I really think this website needs far
more attention. I’ll probably be returning to read through more, thanks for the information!

  22. Numnum

I’m pretty good at avoiding them all…hanging head in shame. But mopping the floor is the one I never ever want to do!

  23. Kelly

Seriously… Mopping the floors!! I would LOVE this cleaner! We’re installing hardwood floors throughout the house next month, and I’m almost reconsidering because of the idea of sweeping/mopping regularly. (What have I done??)

  24. LauraEmm

I seriously dislike cleaning floors. Vacuuming isn’t so bad, but the hard floors are the WORST!

  25. MissCaron

Pretty much all household chores are bothersome but scrubbing the bathroom is my least favorite!

  26. Brooke McIntire

Hah! I totally avoid them all! But floors are my #1 enemy. 2000 sq ft of hardwood KILLS my back!

  27. Rachel

I hate pretty much everything that has to be done more than once a week… Sweeping/vacuuming is my top 5 most avoided chores.

  28. Mandy M.

I despise cleaning the bathrooms in my house!! I’ll take dishes and laundry any day over bathrooms!

  29. jenifer

My least favorite chore? That would have to be vacuuming…ugh. Just thought of having to do it makes me frown.

  30. jeannette

I avoid laundry like the plague!! I pretty much hate everything else, but laundry is the one I whine about. it takes sooooo loooooong. wash. unload. dry. unload. fold. hang. put away. pshhhh, that’s at least 3 episodes of The Office. :-/

  31. Kim L.

We just hired someone to clean every other week so I am avoiding them all but I think bathrooms are my least favorite.

  32. Mary C.

Unfortunately there are way too many tasks I avoid…vaccuuming is one, but I love it when things are freshly vaccuumed!!

  33. Kristi D

Probably a tie between ironing and washing baseboards. Both take sooo much time, and time is so precious!

  34. Mckenzie

Hey! I know this is kinda off topic however I’d figured I’d ask.

Would you be interested in trading links or maybe guest writing a blog article
or vice-versa? My site goes over a lot of the same topics as yours and I feel
we could greatly benefit from each other. If you
happen to be interested feel free to send me an email.
I look forward to hearing from you! Great blog by the way!

  35. Courtney

I try to avoid bathrooms all together, but with two young boys, I seem to clean the toilet and floor nearby constantly! I also avoid dusting. AND I wish I were more organized.

  36. Linda

My house looks like I avoid them all, but I especially HATE cleaning toilets, especially with grandsons who visit. Their aim is not to please their grandmother! :)

  37. Katie W.

I avoid doing laundry and doing dishes like the plague. As a matter of fact, I am avoiding them right now! ha!!

  38. Maureen

Would love to give this little guy a try! What will they think of next? I don’t know, but I can’t wait to see!

  39. Kristen

How can I pick just one? I hate cleaning my floors – with 2 kids and 2 dogs, it seems that is all I do. Cleaning the bathroom would be #2!!! :)

  40. Theresa Sea

Washing dishes. We have an ancient dish washer that leaks, so until it’s replaced, we have to do them by hand and I loathe it!

  41. Caitlin

Ironing! I hate it :(. I put it off and put it off until a huge mound of clothes builds up and then I have to spend forever getting caught up. I know that if I just iron a few pieces as they come out of the dryer than it would be over quick and not build up, but I just can’t make myself do it!

  42. lorikay

Avoid the most is dusting – don’t know why I’d rather vacuum than dust and even clean bathrooms.

  43. Myka

Mopping is my least favorite household chore! I’d rather clean toilets all day! Thanks for these great giveaways!

  44. Robin

Folding laundry, is the worst I used to fold laundry after every second load and of course I would only have a odd number load at the end that would wait until I finally decided it was time to fold it.

  45. Laura

I really avoid dusting. We live in a dusty desert area, plus we have a dog, two cats and 2 kids! Our living room furniture is really dark and even right after I dust, it looks dirty again.

  46. Trisha B.

I’m just so tired of having to vacuum up tons of pet hair almost everyday! It really gets more and more annoying. I would love just be able to take a break and let the iRobot Mint Automatic Hard Floor Cleaner do some of the work for me.

  47. ana612

Vacuuming and cleaning the bathroom are my most hated. But all would be a decent response from me too.

  48. Elizabeth Hanson

I hate doing my floors. I have 3 big dogs and my floors always look dirty. I think this could seriously help me. Thanks.

  49. Bernie B

I have been married 39 years and pretty much dislike all cleaning chores!! I would rather travel!!

  50. Lisa S.

I hate just about all of the chores!! Mainly because I don’t have time to do them. I’m always rushing through everything!

  51. Connie Gruning

Oh my gosh, which one do I hate the most. I’d have to say the stove. WHY WHY WHY does no one every clean up after they spill on the stove top?!?! WHY!?!? LOL and yes, all the other stuff too.

  52. Cindy

I have a deep, soaking bathtub. HOW am I supposed to clean such a thing! I have to climb in there — I just avoid using it so I don’t have to clean it.

  53. Cindy

I have a deep, soaking bathtub. I HATE to clean it, I really don’t even know how I am supposed to clean it without being inside the dang thing :)

  54. Janae Skriner

It isn’t that I dislike vacuuming and mopping, but I have to do it all the time! With two cats and two dogs in the house, I vacuum every single day. I would just like a little itty bitty break. :)

  55. Julie

I definately avoid sweeping and mopping! My whole house is hardwood floors and its the longest chore to get done!

  56. Jean Holland

The chore I avoid the most is ironing. I only iron as needed and only when going somewhere very special.

  57. Kara E.

I avoid mopping the kitchen floor of course! It’s where we gate the dogs when they have muddy paws, so that floor has a lot of dirt on it and I avoid cleaning it…

  58. Diane Eck

My most hated chore is absolutely cleaning my hardwood floors!! That’s why winning this give-away would be so perfect for me!! Yeah!!

  59. Leah B

Mopping -our whole house is hard wood floors and we have 2 dogs, a cat and a two year old. I feel like the second I have finished cleaning my floors they are already dirty again. *Ugh*

  60. Alison

I try to avoid them all – mostly though, I HATE folding and putting away clothes from the dryer and it bothers me most (now living with more men in the house) how they dump out the clothes on the couch and leave them there. At least leave them in the dryer or fold them up after – you can’t fold cold clothes – ugh!

  61. Libby's Library

Washing windows – never done it.
Cleaning toilets – oh yes I must.
    Sweeping – why?
    Laundry – gotta do that.
    Dishes – naw, paper plates.
    Dusting – why?

  62. ashley

i avoid laundry the most. there are three full baskets of clean clothes awaiting folding/hanging right now at home!

  63. Lynn Keator

Definitely mopping the hardwood floors!!! I just don’t know how to take care of them properly! I would love to win this and try it out.

  64. Jen Murray

I hate vacuuming – I have two beautiful labradors who shed like crazy (but they are so worth it!!)

  65. Kelster

I do hate them all. It might be easier to think of which I avoid the least. I should go vacuum right now.

  66. Janel

I just had another baby so pretty much right now I avoid all of them. But I mostly hate doing the bathrooms!

  67. Melissa

I really try and avoid all housework but dusting has to be at the top. Too many small places and too many things that have to be moved.

  68. Karina Sherman

I avoid cleaning the kitchen floor because I dirty it every day while making a mess cooking dinner. Sooo I make the hunny clean it.

  69. Alisha

I despise cleaning baseboards. And I’m not a big fan of dishes, so we have an agreement at my house – I do laundry and my hubs does dishes! Love it!

  70. Rebecca

I hate putting laundry away. I desperately need a robot for that. But maybe I’ll learn to love it if I no longer have to clean the floors!

  71. Ash

I have 2 year old twins and I have to sweep my kitchen eating area so many times a day I just hate it!!

  72. Amy Tong

I try to avoid them all if I could…but usually chores will just piling up and I’m playing catch-up constantly. But the one worse thing would be mopping the floor. I think I’m getting old and my body really reacts to it and my back hurt after just 5 minutes of mopping! This machine would help me dearly! Thank you so much for introducing it! I think my back will thank me for having one!

    amy [at] utry [dot] it

  73. Chrissy Cooper

I really don’t like washing the dishes! Other people’s leftover food is something I will avoid at all costs :)

  74. Cheryl Rahkonen

I avoid any chore that is in the kitchen. I hate cooking, doing dishes, cleaning the refrigerator or cleaning the floor. Besides these, I avoid doing any chores that I can-usually not successful though.

  75. Cindy

Totally avoid the bathtub at all costs!!! Then eventually, when I realize it has won, I give up and soon realize how nice it is to have a bathtub that sparkles. Then I take a shower, and the love-hate relationship continues!

  76. Jhinnah Poole

I avoid scrubbing our showers. We have two of them and our master is a huge walk in shower with two shower heads. It is all tile. The tile on the floor is small squares so there is a lot of grout to be scrubbed…it’s definitely a workout.

  77. Tiffany

I just had 1400 sq ft of hardwood floors installed in my house and cleaning them has taken over my life!

  78. Michelle Cowgill

I avoid vacuuming floors! I like vacuum lines and they’re gone two seconds after I’m done.

  79. Kristin

I generally avoid doing laundry. The actual sorting/washing isn’t bad – it’s the folding and putting away that I hate!

  80. Emily

I am constantly sweeping the floors in our apartment, but they never quite feel clean. This would be awesome!

  81. Brittany Davidson

The hubby and I are moving into a new home nesxt month and it has all hardwood floors- such a blessing! But we have always had carpet. We have a carpet cleaner from our wedding registry – but now we need something to clean all of the hardwood- especially those cute little muddy pawprints from our dogs Miss Tilly and Vitto!

  82. Ka

I’m always trying to avoid dusting and cleaning the bathroom. But I totally don’t mind vaccuuming and doing laundry (maybe that’s a little bit strange…). And I hate scrubbing the white tile kitchen floor!

  83. Ardith

I avoid cleaning the showers. I don’t know why. When I remember to do it while I am in there and already wet, it makes it easier!

  84. Krisha Arias

I try to avoid Laundry! It’s not so much the actual washing of the clothes that I don’t like, it’s the folding and putting away! Ugh!

  85. Cristiana Myers

Where have you been all my life!! LOL!! I so need a “Rosie”, it’s impossible to keep my wood floors clean because of my four paw furry babies!! Thanks Amanda this is a great give away!!

  86. Kim

I avoid doing the laundry until I absolutely need something. Thankfully, everyone else in my family does their own laundry now!

  87. Michelle

I avoid cleaning under the furniture; we have hardwood floors….and a black lab. I could create a fur-creature after just one day of her shedding!

  88. Mary Anne

    Hi Amanda,

Love the Mint floor cleaner – Rosie! Amen Sistah, use ONLY water on your beautiful floors. I swear by it. In fact, when we sold a house once (with 7 year old hardwood floors) the buyers thought the floor was brand new. Nuff said?

  89. Hilarie

Floors are actually #1 on my “avoid cleaning” list! We don’t have babies crawling around anymore, so I choose to ignore them as long as I can!

  90. Maura

I am 100% with you on mopping the floor. With having a lab , they need to be vacuumed, swept, mopped every other day and it gets old!!! How helpful this would be!! My other least fav is emptying the dishwasher.

  91. Lacey geerlings

I definitely avoid cleaning my hardwood floors. The majority of house is hard wood, and It takes forever to do, especially with 2 dogs and 2 small kids! so winning this cleaner would help keep my sanity!

  92. Kelly

The husband cleans the toilet, but after that would be ceiling fans since they are hard to reach and then I usually end up having to clean the floor afterwards.

  93. BOBBI

I like to avoid ALL housework! LOL I have to admit that the floors are probably the worse for me.

  94. Stefanie

I have two dogs and it seems like I constantly have to vacuum the floors. I vacuum and within 5 minutes, I see hair balls.

  95. Brian

I really don’t like mopping, and loading the dishes is far more tedious than unloading to me, so I’m not a big fan of that either!

  96. Monica

My least favorite thing to clean is the bathroom!! Toilets, showers, and sinks are not fun at all;)

  97. Elizabeth Ashe

I have 3 dogs and so if dont sweep/vacuum/something everyday I have furballs floating around! But now actual mopping, I put that off waaay longer than I should.

  98. tiffany dover

I actually REALLY enjoy cleaning but I put off cleaning the floors the most! After we pulled up the carpet in our house we discovered horrible looking hardwood floors and they are so hard to clean. We don’t have the money to replace or fix them or put carpet back down so winning this would help so much!

  99. kimberly/tippytoes

I thought bathroom cleaning was the worst until we went all hardwood. Doing the floor for the entire house is a workout.

  100. Caitlin

Is it a valid answer if I say I avoid all household chores… I freely admit I’m a terrible house keeper. Sigh. Oh well.

  101. amanda

I HATE doing laundry and I HATE mopping! I dont mind vaccuming but mopping is the worst, I can never get it clean enough and it feels like all that work and for nothing. I hate sorting laundry, too, especially my kids…its so tiny and there’s so much of it!

  102. Leslie Syme

I like to avoid the bathtub. Yuck!!
The Mint cleaner looks awesome! I would love this since we only have one room with carpet!

  103. Tina

I have hardwood floors, too, and cleaning them is the job I always leave for last. They never stay clean long enough to feel like it was worth it!

  104. rebeka deleon

i hate cleaning my kid’s play room. everyday there are toys everywhere. all over my house and trust me, i make them help me but they are 3 & 4 so it can be like pulling teeth!

  105. Sandy Cain

The bathroom. I cannot tell you what happens in the bathroom, with my brother’s (lack of) aim. Omg.

  106. Kristy

Cleaning the floors!! We have hardwoods at our new house, too, and I hate how dirty they always look compared to carpet!! :( With 2 little guys, they never seem to be clean. :( This would be an awesome prize to win!!

  107. Kimberli Bean

I despise sweeping/mopping, so winning this would be an answer to my prayers!! Thanks for the chance to win, reading your review has convinced me that I need this in my life!! :)

  108. Bobbi

I despise doing the laundry, however moping is right up on that list also! This is such a cool idea!!

  109. David Rainey

I hate cleaning the bathroom the most.
The kitchen is a close second, only because my roommates are pigs.

  110. Carla

Dishes! It’s even worse now that I’m 8 months pregnant and my belly is the same height as the sink.

  111. Sheila

I really do avoid them all! Once I get going I really don’t mind too many of them, but I think doing dishes is the worst.

  112. Brandee

I avoid cleaning the bathrooms. I just hate scrubbing…but it feels so good once they are done!

  113. Jessica Wohld

My least favorite chore is cleaning the bathtubs and showers! Mopping the hardwood floors runs a close second, though!

  114. Betsy

It’s between laundry and cleaning the floor. The only difference is I can leave laundry pile up, I have to clean my floor and since shoes aren’t allowed in the house, we have bare feet. If something gets on the floor I can feel it and need to get it cleaned up, even if it is a small spec.

  115. Dawn

I avoid cleaning because 30 seconds later, the house is a mess again! Ugh! Cleaning with three kids in the house is like sweeping the porch during a tornado!

  116. VICKI CROFT

I HATE CLEANING MY LAMINATE FLOORS. THEY ARE SO PRETTY WHEN THEY ARE CLEAN, BUT I DON’T LIKE CLEANING THEM. HELP ME!!!!! PLEASE PICK ME TO WIN!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS CHANCE.

  117. Anjie Behunin

I try to avoid them all by a)making my kids do their own laundry b) giving them rewards for vacuuming c) giving them consequences of cleaning bathrooms and d) telling my husband he has to to the dishes when I cook! :) I hate laundry the most though- because it is the NEVER ENDING CHORE!

  118. Dana

The worst chore in my house is cleaning the bathroom that is shared by my 4 teenaged and 20-something boys. It should be their responsibility but every so often I just have to get in there and really clean!

  119. rocky maclachlan

I avoid the kitchen floor all the time. Paid my daughter $10 the other day and stoll had to re-do it myself the next day.

  120. Amy

I hate dusting, the idea of moving everything just to wipe underneath it and then put it back just throws me off.

  121. Donna

I avoid cleaning the windows the most, because I also have to clean the screens and the blinds or window treatments!

  122. Judith Tennant

Vacuuming and dusting because of my severe allergies. I get so sick when I have to clean it takes me a week of wheezing and coughing and an entire inhaler plus my regular asthma inhaler to get back to nearly normal leaving me with another migraine.

  123. Elena Z

I hate washing the dishes. Usually I do the cooking and sometimes I can convince my husband to wash the dishes. Otherwise, it’s just me and the dish soap while he relaxes on the couch! Totally not fair!

  124. Tori

Aside from the obvious bathroom cleaning, I dread the floor mopping. I have a bunch of tiled areas and it is tedious.

  125. Christine

Cleaning the shower…I always say I’ll just keep up with it, then it won’t get bad, but it never happens that way!

  126. Kelli

Cleaning a house full of hard floors (concrete) is my least favorite. I have a steam cleaner and a roommate who tackles the job most times.

  127. Sarah

I try to avoid the floors but only because I clean top down so they are the very last thing, just after I run out of energy!

  128. Katie

I totally avoid folding laundry! I don’t mind doing it, but folding it and putting it away is a different matter.

  129. Holly Moser

I cannot stand to sweep! I feel like it doesn’t get everything, those tiny little things go through the broom and never make it in the dustpan. This would be perfect!!

  130. Diane Christensen

The house we just bought has hardwood and I have never had hardwood before. The Mint would be awesome. I’ve always yearned for an automatic bed maker – just hop out of bed and it makes itself!

  131. jane

I avoid cleaning out the fridge. It just seems so tedious, but I am always delighted when it’s done!

  132. Karen Gfeller

Avoid doing the floors although with a dirt farmer in and out my floors drive me crazy! I would be doing floors 27/7 to keep them clean!!!!

  133. Sallee Crummel-Glickler

The bathrooms. I had to do them all when growing up, and now…no. That’s the husband’s job now

  134. Linda Bradshaw

I hate doing the bathrooms especially getting on my hands and knees to do around the toilet.

  135. Natalie J Vandenberghe

My least favorite chore is cleaning the bathroom. and dusting (it’s not very rewarding because, no sooner than I’m done, everything is dusty again!) I’m lucky that my husband does most of the chores. The kids help vacuum. The only chore I don’t mind doing is the dishes. Thanks for the giveaway.

  136. Cynthia

I don’t think my comment saved… soooo, here it is again…. :) The one cleaning job I avoid is my boys bathroom. They’re teenagers (16 yr old twins and an 18 yr old)….needless to say, ewwwwww! They have to clean it themselves. I would rather pay someone to come in and clean it than clean it myself!

  137. Cat Mitchell

Can I freely admit that I HATE to clean my hardwoods and I have some ugly rugs only to avoid cleaning them?! I NEED this little beauty. Amazing! Thanks for the cool giveaway!

  138. Becky @ So Very Blessed

Ironically enough…floors! I hate it so much that it’s the one chore I insist my husband take care of. Dusting falls closely behind, though! In Arizona, we have dirt EVERYWHERE, so it covers our floor and provides a constant layer of dust on everything we own. The two dogs don’t help that situation much, either! ;-)

  139. Elizabeth S.

I have cleaning bathrooms so I put it off as much as I can but then clean them because I can’t stand them dirty either. lol.

  140. Rachel Griswold

Sweeping my kitchen! I have two inside cats that love to track cat litter into my kitchen, so I have to sweep at least once a day- and it seems I can never get it all up!

  141. Bre

Cleaning behind the refrigerator and washer & dryer. We have the most wonderful 90+ year old hardwoods throughout but it just serves as a conduit for those dust bunnies and that cat hair and it just piles up behind all three appliances!

  142. Kelley

I avoid cleaning the bathroom…especially the toilets now that I’m married and share a bathroom with a man.

  143. Amy

I HATE doing the dishes! I despise looking at that sink full of dirty dishes at the end of a long day. What I would give to have to unload the dishwasher… but in San Francisco, landlords charge an extra $200 bucks a month for that luxury!

  144. Hideki Yamada

Dragging around the vacuum cleaner around the house is what I hate. I actually feel much better with a broom and a dustpan, for some strange reasons.

  145. joanne gentry

I would rather wash 100 loads of clothes if it meant I did not have to clean my floors. The last few years have been filled with hard floor mishaps, oh brother!
    jo_jlem at hotmail.com

  146. Monica

I have several ruptured discs in my back so I have to avoid any cleaning that involves much bending or anything that put too much strain on my back.

  147. Michaela

I hate sweeping and mopping the floors, especially now that I have a 5 month old German Shepherd puppy at home!

  148. Rita Fuja

Changing the sheets on the top bunk of my son’s bunk beds. Don’t ever get bunk beds. In close 2nd is dusting. 3rd is putting away clean laundry…I’ll wash, dry, fold all day but can’t ever seem to get it put away! Robots for any of those things would be amazing!

  149. Sandy

I avoid as many as possible… but then I have a live in maid whom I’ve been married to for 42 years and his full time job is caring for me and our home! :-)

  150. Sharon

I hate to sweep and mop. I also do not like to dust so we have very little top surfaces for this reason.

  151. alyssa manno

Mopping floors and cleaning the bathrooms are my all time least favorite chores, expecially with 4 boys in the house!

  152. Kyrstin Cook

    Dusting. Always.
We have a lot of wooden furniture that’s black and I feel like when i dust it just laughs at me and goes right back to how it was before.
So… as horrible as it may be, the house rarely gets dusted haha

  153. Windy Phillips

I avoid them all, but cleaning the toilets MOST of all! I think the idea of it just grosses me out, lol.

  154. Alvina

Does cooking count as a chore? I actually like cleaning more than cooking — though this little bad boy would help me out a lot! :)

  155. Cami S.

Dusting. I avoid it until one of the kids touches the dusty surface and their fingerprints become a blaring spotlight on my non-dusting habit.

  156. Mindy S

I always put off washing the floors and folding laundry, two of the things that I dislike the most.

  157. Amanda

I freaking hate doing the dishes and putting away clothes. I do them anyway, however, because the husband generates lots of dishes and has triple the clothes I do.

  158. Teresa Millar

Well, there is quite a few chores I avoid – and floors are one if them. I am in the process of having a new house built, and I am very interested in the Mint for the hardwood floors!

  159. Suzanne

Yes, yes, I like to avoid them all. Until I have guests coming. Then I run around like a crazy woman trying to get everything done in half an hour!

  160. Danielle

I avoid putting away my clean laundry the most. I have no problem washing, drying and folding/setting out, but when I go to put it away, it sits next to my bed for DAYS and drives my husband batty. Maybe if I had a Mint to clean my floors, I would be motivated to put away my laundry…. Thanks for the chance to win Kevin & Amanda!

  161. peasquared

thanks for the giveaway! i totally avoid washing windows!! i don’t think i’ve EVER washed ANY windows!!!

  162. Monica

Ironically, the floors. I have somehow conditioned myself not to see the dust bunnies in the corners until they are nearly the size of an actual bunny.

  163. Emily

Yeah… all of them! But especially our hardwood floors. They constantly need sweeping and washing. Oy!

  164. Lili

I absolutely hate sweeping & mopping floors! What a pain! I wish I could afford a maid, that would solve all my problems… ;)

  165. Susan B

I need one of these! It is so hard to keep our floors clean with two kids and a cat running around.

  166. Rachel Bloomfield

As I sit here and look at my barefoot tracked up hardwoods I realize…..I REALLY NEED THAT MINT!!! Lol I despise mopping my wood floors, please help lessen my cleaning with my very own “Rosie”!! Pretty please!!! :)

  167. Katherine

Mopping is my least favorite chore and thankfully my husband does it for me. I don’t mind doing anything else, but I hate mopping.

  168. Maxine

The older I get, the more I hate cleaning but especially my laminate floors. The only way to avoid streaking is to ‘wax on, wax off’ on my hands and knees with a wet cloth in one hand and a dry one in the other.

  169. Marin D

I avoid laundry. I just hate it. My husband does it because it would never get done if I had to do it. Plus, the same load would have to be washed 10 times before it could be dried. LOL. And I hate that he won’t put away my clothes once they’re washed (because of course I am completely OCD about how they go in the closet). Second up would be mopping. Our entire downstairs is tile and I hate it. Our house was standing inventory when we bought it so what was there is what we got. It looks horrible. I hope we can replace that flooring someday!

  170. Gena

I own 5 dogs and I absolutely hate vacuuming and mopping the floors. Just about the time I finish cleaning the floors it’s time to start over again. Having the Mint Automatic Floor Cleaner would be the best gift ever!!!!

  171. Debra Carter

I do avoid the floors more than I should…. if this baby picks up dog hair… our lives (ok floors) would be fantabulous!!!

  172. Susan

Mopping the kitchen – never seems to stay clean for long with a dog and a husband who comes in with his work shoes on.

  173. Sarah G

I avoid cleaning the full bathroom. It totally needs to be cleaned right now, but when guests don’t see it, it’s easy to ignore the grossness!

  174. christa

I equally avoid laundry and cleaning my floors! We just bought our first house and the entire home is wood or tile, not a stitch of carpet! Which is great, and not so great since I have never taken care of wood floors before. Right now it’s a 3-step process to clean them – the mint would save me so much time! I might actually do laundry then… ;)

  175. Christy Z

Cleaning the potties or scrubbing the floor after my kids eat food are my least favorite chores! Thankfully my kids LOVE those chores – so it’s a win/win for all of us! :)

  176. Marty Philpot

Oh, those hardwood floors…..it’s a true “love/hate” relationship! I LOVE the look….but hate the maintenance…….AND……since we have 3 dogs and a cat……enough said!!!!!!

  177. Anne F.

I try to avoid ALL housecleaning chores for as long as I can (HA!) but cleaning the bathrooms is probably my least favorite. Thanks for this chance to win – my hardwood floors could use some help!

  178. Jody Rollins

I hate scrubbing the bathtub, cleaning the surfaces of my kitchen cabinets and keeping up with cleaning my hardwood and tiled floors. They all tie for first!! The Mint looks amazing!

  179. Denise N

The chore I would love to ignore…cleaning bathrooms! ugh! With 3 boys, the bathrooms are the worst…

I just installed laminate flooring in my large kitchen, entry, 1/2 bath and would love to give this a try on them! I, too, spend a lot of time sweeping, vacuuming, mopping etc. and the floors never seem as clean as I would like.

  180. Casie

I hate doing the floors, so this would be perfect! My kids’ feet are always black from running around the house barefoot. Disgusting! I NEED THIS!!! I also hate putting laundry away. I don’t mind washing and folding, I just hate putting away.

  181. J E

I totally avoid lawnmowing….I know that is an outside chore, but my husband does this one, thankfully!

  182. Darren

I don’t mind chores. I was the youngest of 13 growing up (8 girls, 4 boys) and my sisters taught me well. However, I much rather spend my time outside on the yard. This Mint would certainly help my wife & I spend more time outside than inside!!

  183. Cassi

I can get the laundry to the washer then to the dryer but I HATE folding, ironing and putting it away!

  184. Kari Howell

I avoid cleaning the toilets…well bathrooms in general. My husband will do it every few days so I really don’t even try. :)

  185. Andrea

**I avoid cleaning as much as possible. . . .but that doesn’t really work out for me!! My mom is the one who taught me everything about cleaning so that’s why I would LOVE this iRobot Floor Cleaner for my mom. She laid hardwood floors throughout her condo and she can’t figure out how to keep it as clean as she’d like to. She’s tried everything. I’d like for her to win this so she can relax while drinking her coffee…instead of staring at the spots all over her beautiful floor! :)

  186. Greta B

I hate washing dishes! After I’ve cooked, the last thing I want to do is clean up, but I hate it even more if I leave them for the next morning!

  187. Stacy

The chore I like to avoid the most would be the dishwaher :/ Im not a fan of loading or unloading it.

  188. kristi e

I avoid the vacuuming! We have an ancient (but durable) canister vac that looks like it came from 1950 and it’s a bear to lug around. We just put in hardwood floors and this Mint would be AWE-SOME!

  189. Tatum

I avoid folding and putting laundry away the most. It piles up in baskets until it bugs me enough. I go on a folding rampage and promise myself I’ll never let it happen again… Riiiight!… A close second are my hardwood floors! I have dark wood so they show everything and a girl can only sweep and mop so much… :)

  190. Karyn M

Unloading the dishwasher! Ugh ugh ugh! When baby stops climbing into it, it will be a lot easier…

  191. Jillian

I hate doing dishes! I currently have cleaning ladies that come every two weeks to do the floors & bathrooms, but I know that will be ending when/if I don’t return to work after maternity leave! So having a robot clean my floors will make a world of difference! :)

  192. Michelle Gambler

We have 4 dogs and 2 cats. I vacuum and mop every day. It has gotten to the point that I can’t stand to do it! However, not doing it would be a disaster!

  193. Alana

Folding the laundry! I never understood why adults use to complain about this one…easy enough, fold your laundry…put it away. Now that I have multiple people in my house, I totally get it! :)

  194. Stephanie Kelly

I loathe doing the dishes…it’s ALWAYS the last thing to tackle and always what I HOPE someone else will do!

  195. Lisa

My house is all hardwood floors and I hate them! They get so dirty so fast! I pretty much hate all cleaning but the floors are the worst.

  196. Renae

Loading the dishwasher…and unloading it too I guess. Unfortunately no one else will do them so I’m stuck! :)

  197. Pam Saltmarsh

Dusting – I know that sounds strange, but I have allergies! My hubby usually does it for me. He is my hero. :)

    Pam

  198. Danielle

I avoid the floors – we have 2000 square feet of hard wood and tile – love the hard floors, hate the baseboards and corners!

  199. Niki

I don’t mind laundry, bathrooms, dishes….but I hate cleaning my floors. It seems as soon as I finish, a cat hair tumbleweed comes floating out from somewhere or a trail of kitty litter appears. 3 cats plus 2 kids plus a husband who works outdoors – none of whom every wipe their feet! This would be a wonderful device to have.

  200. Jen

I avoid cleaning the bathroom and changing the sheets on the bed. Such chores just seem so chore-like!

  201. Traci N.

The floors! I have hardwood & stained concrete + 2 kiddos & a bad choice in color of hardwood lol

  202. Jan

I don’t usually mind doing housekeeping chores, but I often don’t get around to the vacuuming and mopping – just because I run out of time. This little gadget would certainly be useful for that.

  203. Diane

I hate cleaning all together, but if I had to pick what I hate the worse it would be the Garden Tub. It’s so hard to clean I have to get into it!!!

  204. Andrea F

I hate putting up the laundry. I fold it the minute it’s done and put it back in the laundry basket, but I hate then having to put it away.

  205. Teresa

I have successfully avoided washing my walls for the last 6 years! I just never think of it, then when I do, it’s 2am!

  206. Beth

I have 10 mo old twins with hardwood floors along with a 5 year old and two dogs. I can’t keep up!

  207. Peggy W.

OH…MY…GOSH!!!! I did not know this existed!! I seriously hate cleaning my wood floors! This IRobot Mint Hardwood Floor Cleaner would make my life SO MUCH EASIER!!! Thank you for the awesome giveaways.

  208. Sukanya

I hate vaccumming and mopping my floors, and cleaning the bathrooms !! And of course, vacuuming the stairs !! With a toddler around, who picks anything from the floor and puts straight into her mouth, I have no choice, but to clean the floors everyday !!

Would love to get a little help from Mint :)

  209. Beverly

My two schnauzers and hardwood floors do not mix – daily cleaning is necessary. Although…the dogs don’t care!

  210. Malissa W

I hate sweeping the floor! No matter what I buy/do I always seem to just push the dirt and dust from one place to another. Thanks for the giveaway!

  211. Amy @ The Nifty Foodie

I avoid the dishes! It’s so overwhelming to spend time cooking/baking and THEN have to clean it all up. So not fair lol!

  212. Roosh

Undeniably, with 3 little boys in our household it is cleaning their bathrooms that get the most hated chore in our house! My husband and I joust for who gets to do it ;)

  213. Greta

I hate cleaning the floors! Vacuuming and mopping is the worst chore for me, especially since we have furry critters! I would love to have someone come in and complete this for me every week.

  214. Amber

I hate chores, but the one I probably avoid THE MOST is detail work… dusting, moping, scrubing showers…. if the house looks decluttered that should be enough… right?!

  215. Amy Myers

I do try to avoid them all but ironing is the worst!! And I just realized part of my daughter’s school uniform is going to have to be ironed! Noooooo!

  216. Kristen

I have no carpet in my house. So CLEANING FLOORS is the number 1 chore I avoid. However, toilets, folding clothes, and unloading the dishwasher are also huge on my list.

  217. Maeve

Does grocery shopping and groceries count? I hate all the loading into your cart, unloading onto the belt, load it back into your cart, load it in your car, unload it from your car. Put. everything. away. It is too much! And I am so one of those people that will have welts in her arm because I’m too stubborn to make more than one trip ;)

  218. Stacy Barfield

I absolutely hate folding clothes and cleaning floors are a close second. I would love to have a Mint to give me more time to focus on other cleaning!

  219. Angie

I hate cleaning my hardwood floors! I have been looking at the Mint at BB&B for awhile. Would love to win it!!

  220. Kirsten

My apartment is always so dusty! Even after a day of cleaning the next day it looks like I could dust all over again. I would love to own one of these. It would be pure joy!

  221. Sharon

I hate cleaning the kitchen floor. It seems like a daily task. I don’t have enough time to sweep/dust/mop it every single day!

  222. Nicole

We just ripped up ugly blue carpet in our new home. This would be perfect for helping us keep our hard wood floors shiny!

  223. Miranda Ochocki

I’m the worst at all floors – hardwood, carpet, tile. Between that and folding the laundry, I’m glad I have my husband to help me out!

  224. Stephanie R

My least favorite chore would have to be folding laundry! I’m going to have a rude awakening when I have kids!

  225. karen

I’m a teacher and hate to clean my classroom floors. The kids love, love, love glitter and it ends up all over the floors and spreads from one area to the next on the bottom of the kids shoes. I have to make sure to sweep the floors three to four times a day just to keep the sparkle under control. Then I go home and clean….UGH!!!

  226. Susan P

I hate all of it really! But the worst would be bathrooms. This Mint looks so cool. I have dark hardwood floors that show the dust. This would be a wondeful tool to have!

  227. Amanda

I have no problem vacuuming, but always avoid the mopping. This would be perfect for our hardwood floors!

  228. Sarah Austin

I don’t like dishes. I was young and naive and told a kitchen designer I don’t need a dishwasher. I really wish I had one now.

  229. Sandy Heath

I avoid dusting like the plague! It’s those pesky dust mites. I also am not fond of toilet bowl cleaning and mopping.

  230. Alisha

Dusting! I have a dog & a cat and I feel like I can never catch up! The morning sunlight coming in through the windows is the best time to dust in my house- you can see everything! :)

  231. Heather mayberry

Sadly it usually the vacuuming. The bedrooms are all carpet and the rest is hardwood. I do clean the wood 50,000 times a day :)

  232. Elaine

I don’t mind cleaning (although cleaning the floor is definitely at the bottom of the list!) but I despise folding bath towels out of the dryer!

  233. Nicole

I try to avoid dishes, cleaning the litter box, and folding and putting away laundry. Unfortunately so does my husband so I end up doing them anyway.

  234. Melanie P8

I loathe laundry…I would try and avoid it but I doubt my co-workers want me in smelly and wrinkled clothes!

  235. Jackie

Honestly, it’s mopping. I don’t know why, but it seems like such a chore and has to be done so often.

  236. Analia

I hate to spend my precious time cleaning, but laundry is the WORSE!!! I much prefer to spend time with my three little one. By the way, we just move four homes aways from my house and the new place has wood floor and I am going crazy thinking about cleaning it, I hope I win!!!

  237. K Bottoms Jones

It appears that I avoid them all, but really, I’m just trying to keep up with my 2 littles under 2!!

  238. Christine

Lately I’ve been avoiding the dishes. I leave them and hope my husband takes care of them first!

  239. Cheryle

I hate cleaning so much, I hired a maid. It’s a fee every 2 weeks that I’m willing to pay so that I don’t have to clean.

  240. Victoria Marie

I absolutely dislike cleaning the bathroom! If anything, I always con my boyfriend into doing it. On the other hand, he seems to enjoy it since cleaning the bathroom and folding the laundry are his only chores! Haha.

  241. Lillian

I am excited to have hardwoods, but know it will be a lot of maintenance! Still, better than having wall to wall carpet — less trapped dust!

  242. Tina Burrow

I hate cleaning curtains, mini blinds and when you have to move big furniture to vacuum under.

  243. Ashley @ Our Full Table

Laundry!! And then when I actually have to do it I wonder why I didnt do it before?!

  244. Erin

We have a Neato (based on your blog post recommendation!) for our carpets and we absolutely love it! Now that we are moving, I’d love to have something that mops the hard floors as well! My least favorite household chore is cleaning the bathrooms. They seem to get so icky sometimes!

  245. Laura C

I have wood floors and I hate how you can feel everything when you are barefoot :(

I avoid cleaning our shower…it is a big one and such a pain!

  246. Sharon

I really don’t like cleaning floors!!! Hardwood floors are hard to keep up and carpet especially with a cat who sheds a lot.

  247. Michael Cassell

Laundry. Tried the roomba wet floor cleaner couldn’t get it to work well. Would love to try this!

  248. jaime b.

The stove top! Ugh, I hate cleaning that thing, it’s black and shows every speck known to man!

  249. Jennifer

Being that my entire house is hardwood floors I always seem to be using the Swiffer and mopping so that I would be my dislike on household chores. Having the Mint would be so much easier!!!!

  250. Kelli w

Cleaning the bathrooms- though it hasn’t been nearly as bad since my husband has been gone on deployment. Also, picking up the dog poop in the yard. Between the two dogs, pregnancy, and summer heat it’s just terrible!

  251. Sandra

It would have to be dusting and polishing all the furniture! It’s a never ending battle with dust, pet hair and fingerprints…and some paw prints.

  252. The Smiths

Dusting and floors come last. We just laid a new wood floor in our living room. A new Mint would match perfectly!

  253. Elenor

Cleaning my hard wood floors in the kitchen!! Since I make a lot of decorated cakes, the airbrush color gets into all of the nooks and crannies and it seems to take forever to clean it all up!

  254. Maria Johnson

I hate all chores but cleaning the bathroom and cleaning the floor every day would be at the top! My family would LOVE this little gadget!

  255. Nancy

I hate dusting. I try to avoid moving items so the dust won’t show. That only works in my imagination…

  256. Joyce S

Cleaning the floors — it’s too hard on my chipped disc and herniated disc. My husbands does all the floor work. He’s the best!

  257. Debra D.

The chore I try hardest to put off is cleaning the windows…but I love the outcome when I have finished!

  258. Katherine Ross

Cleaning hardwoods is the worst! Especially with all the doggy hair and dirt from my dog and fiance! Help!

  259. Kathryn

The floors. For sure the floors. It’s always the thing that I put off for last, and it’s always the thing that I am so relieved to be done with.

  260. Sandy

I avoid folding laundry like it’s my j-o-b…but cleaning the kitchen floor is a close 2nd! This would be a lifesaver! :)

  261. Heather

Having an American Eskimo with beautiful yet constantly shedding fur requires me to sweep, Swiffer and vacuum daily, and even then I still feel like my hardwood floors needs a solid mopping. I love my adorable pooch, but he definitely makes keeps the floors clean a challenge!

  262. Olivia @ Liv Lives Life

I loathe doing anything with dishes (except eating off them)! Doing the dishes is a much simpler chore than most others, but still, I can’t stand it!

  263. Mary Ann

I try to avoid doing the floors because of the reasons, it looks the same when I am finished just in different spots. This would save me so much time in getting the house clean. I would love owning a Mint Automatic Floor Cleaner. Thank you for the giveaway!
    Mary Ann

  264. Gretchen

I have hardwood floors in my kitchen and while I love them- they are a pain to keep clean. I have a pug who sheds like there is no tomorrow.

  265. LiSa

Well! None of them are fun…but I really can’t stand doing the laundry!! The whole process stinks, wash, dry, fold, or hang up THEN put away. It’s worse now that we moved and have yet to purchase a w/d.

  266. Kate

I hate cleaning the bathtub. Fortunately, my husband usually handles this task and I am super-thankful for it!

  267. Sarah

I hate all cleaning, especially vacuuming, mopping our hardwood floors and cleaning the bathrooms!

  268. Nicole Flynn

Dusting & cleaning my tile bathroom floors. It seems like it never gets clean! I bet this would help ;-)

  269. Holly Allred

I really don’t like doing dishes. I’ll cook forever but walking into the kitchen with a pan “soaking” from my husband doing the dishes just grosses me out. LOL! This little Mint would be a blessing for my studio area! I never can keep all the dust down & I really need pretty floors for my photo sessions! :) Thank you Amanda! I love your reviews!

  270. april v

I tend to avoid cleaning the bathrooms like I should! I usually wait until they get really bad before tackling them!

  271. karen

i actually don’t mind most household chores – i just need to be more scheduled in doing them so i pick up every day!
have hardwood throughout so this would be a dream!

  272. Haley @ The Forman's Corner

I avoid cleaning my floors like it’s the plague! I don’t mind vacumning but the mopping part I hate!

  273. KarYn A.

OK – I’m weird. I love to clean. Give me a job – big or small – I relish doing it. It makes me feel productive and it makes me happy. So to narrow down which job I dislike the most is truly difficult for me. That being said – anything that makes my life a little easier is always a plus. This Automatic Floor cleaner looks awesome. Thanks for the opportunity.

  274. Susan Kay "Omi"

I avoid the floors as long as I can – which is why I need this give-away!!!! Thanks for the chance.

  275. Jenee

Would love to try this, your hardwood looks just like mine! I also clean a couple of houses a week, I think this would make my life so much easier with 3 kids and a dog! Thanks Jenee

  276. Lacey Burd

There are 2 things I absolutely hate: cleaning floors (because it’s pretty much inevitable that I will have to scrub something on my hands and knees) and folding laundry.

  277. Mandy

I definitely avoid floors the most. We moved into a house with all hardwood floors & I feel like they’re always dirty. This would be a life (& back) saver. :)

  278. Jenn A

At our new house I have a big wood floor that I never have enough time to keep as clean as I would like. I have four boys and the floor gets tons of traffic. I’d love to have an easier way to clean it!

  279. Dianne

Have been in my new house for one year. . . all hardwood floors except one carpeted bedroom. Agree with Amanda, it’s a never-ending job.

  280. Jenn

I love to avoid loading and unloading the dishwasher. Fortunately, my husband doesn’t mind doing the dishes :)

  281. Larissa

I avoid cleaning the bathtub most…ugh. Although, I dislike most household chores. This Mint looks really cool! My dining room and kitchen have laminate flooring and I bet it would be sooooo much easier to clean them with a Mint!
    Thanks, Amanda!

  282. Jan

I hate dusting. When I was a teenager my mother made me take all items off the furniture, dust it, then polish it and put items back. I hated doing that and still do

  283. Nancy

I really hate vacuuming, too. Always miss something and it has to be done so often…dusting is a close second!

  284. JNE

That is beyond awesome! I just re-mopped my floors this morning after doing it yesterday afternoon, due to a dog accident (our Boston, Hamlet, is now 11 years old!) AND a kitty present waiting for me this morning. Ugh! If my floors stayed clean for 24 hours, maybe I wouldn’t mind, but between 2 cats, a dog, and two kids (not to mention me (total klutz!) and my husband (not the tidiest guy)), they are never clean for more than a few hours… since they are the biggest surface in my house, they constitute my biggest cleaning headache (although, I really do not love cleaning in general and really wish there was a cleaning fairy that would visit overnight!)

  285. Thais

I would LOVE to have a “Rosie” to clean up after my 15 pound, medium haired, constantly shedding, black and white cat!!!

  286. Michelle Proudfoot

No joke, I hate cleaning the floors the most. You spend all the time and energy cleaning them and it seems you can never get it all, and it’s almost immediately dirty again!

  287. Anna

I hate cleaning bathrooms. But my 13 year old son is in charge of cleaning floors weekly, so he would LOVE this!

  288. Kendra Krasin

I’m good with the “cleaning up” part of cleaning, but I avoid all the real cleaning – vacuuming, dusting, etc.

  289. Lisa

I absolutely hate cleaning the bathroom. I have two boys, at least one of whom cannot aim. It’s disgusting and I feel like no matter how much I clean, it’s always dirty.

  290. Beth

I don’t mind doing the household laundry and folding it. I do not like putting away everyone else’s clothes!!!!

  291. Carrie

I’d like to avoid ALL of them!!! I’m no Rosie!! LOL.. Hope it comes my way! We just took out more carpet and put in more hardwood!!!

  292. Melissa B

Cleaning the bathroom is a chore I tend to ignore, ick. Unfortunately it cannot be ignored…

  293. Paulette

I hate scrubbing florrs, seems like they never get clean unless your on your hands and knees. This would be nice. for me. Paulette

  294. Sandy

I avoid putting the laundry away! I have no problem washing, drying, and folding it…putting it away is another story!

  295. Karen

I hate cleaning the bathtub. But we just bought a home with hardwood floors, so this would be perfect!

  296. Kathryn

I honestly despise cleaning the bathrooms. Was never a problem before I had my son, but now…I actually pay to have that !!! (So silly, I know)

  297. Stephanie Sullivan

For me, it is either washing silverware or the floors. Polar opposites I know, but its the details and corners that drive me crazy!

  298. Linda

I really hate cleaning my glass tabletops. I have three of them in my great room and the minute I finish cleaning them they are dusty again!! As far as vacuuming goes, I have a Dyson and it is just too heavy!!!

  299. Jenny V.

Honestly, cleaning my wood floors is the chore I dislike the most! Getting down on my hands and knees scrubbing all those miles and miles (not really but it feels like it) of floor is not my idea of fun!

  300. Toni Millard

I hate the floors – I vacuum, turn around & my 2 kids are right behind me, messing it up again. Argh!!!

  301. Shirin Rose

I hate cleaning the bathroom! Although now that we’ve bought our house and have a yard, yardwork might be my second least favorite!!

  302. Betti

Cleaning floors actually….so much floor, so little time to stay clean! This could be the thing to change my whole attitude!

  303. Lori

Are there chores that people like? I’m not a fan of any of them, really. Probably because I do way too many of them! But if I had to pick just one, I’d say dishes! But floors are not fun, either!

  304. Judy

We have hardwood floors, & hands down, it’s the one household chore I avoid (the mopping of them). What a great giveaway!

  305. Jenny K

I hate doing pretty much all of it, but cleaning the bathrooms and washing dishes are my top two. The floors need to be swept numerous times a day with 2 boys, and Homer their guinea pig…lol.

  306. Debbie Hall

I absolutely hate cleaning my hardwood floors. I have quite a bit to clean. 2 hallways, entryway, 1/2 bath, laundry room, kitchen and eating area!!! I would love to try this cool gadget out!

  307. Robin in NC

Dang, I’ll be brutally honest…I wish I was rich enough to hire a house keeper!! ;) Back to reality, cleaning windows & cleaning out closets head my ‘I’ll get around to it soon’ list. Yuck!!

  308. Catriona

I avoid vacuuming downstairs (got a roomba upstairs to do it for me!) – my excuse? My pet mice won’t like the noise!

  309. Jerri Crabtree

The chore I avoid the most just so happens to be the hardwood floors. I have Rheumatoid Disease, and my joints ate swollen, painful, and deforming. I can no longer stand and clean or get down on hands and knees to clean like I used to. I would really cherish ths, and it truly would be a gift. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Priscilla

I have to admit that I put a lot more time and energy keeping my hardwood floors clean. I hate mopping them. ps: I have a pug that sheds.
