With two little boys under 4, we are going to pick out a bunch of movies – some for them, some for us – pull out some freezer meals and stay in all day. If we can make it to midnight, we’ll watch the ball drop, but these days, we’re asleep by 10!
Oh what a wonderful giveaway! I have no idea what to do tonight. I am never really a fan of New Year’s Eve because I tend to reflect on what I want to change in the new year instead. I wanted to go out somewhere special for once but we will probably stay home again this year. Happy New YEAR everyone. I cannot believe it is 2011 already!
We always do a family night in for New Year’s Eve. We usually light the fire pit and roast marshmallows after dinner then we snack and drink sparkling apple cider while we wait for the ball to drop. Then it is off to bed to get ready for more celebrating and a big dinner on New Year’s Day.
We’re going over to my sister in laws house. My husband’s on call for work, so we’ll be close to home :)
Tonight I will be staying home with my husband and two grown sons. We are having friends over earlier in the day, but as for the stroke of midnight, it will just be us. To tell the truth, I will probably be in bed and the “boys” will celebrate without me!!!
I will be spending tonight with the 2 cutest lovebugs! My sweet baby girl and boy! We will be toasting (with sparkling cider…they’re only 6 & 3)around 8 o’clock! I’m thinking we’ll record the ball dropping and watch it drop in the morning…that still counts right? ;)
we stay home where I fix a nice meal, we play games, put the kids to bed and try to stay up til midnight! ha! Can you say “old married couple”? :)
We will be eating supper at home then going to the movies to see The Fighter (an early show) then back home.
We will go out for a nice supper and get home before the craziness starts. Thanks for another great giveaway. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I will be celebrating safe and cozy in front of the fire at home. Please everyone, drive safe, don’t drink and drive and have a very happy New Year!
I will be at home with my precious newborn and 3 year old son!
i am staying in with my girlfriend and her family for a belated christmas celebration :)
We will either be staying home or bowling and games all night with the youth from our church!
Tonight, we will celebrate by going to one of our extended family members houses, we will probably play games, socialize and eat delicious food until the clock strikes 12. Then I will kiss my handsome husband and ring in the New Year.
I will be spending the evening with a group of friends and ending the night with family. This year will be a big year so ending this one with family by my side means I will start 2011 off the same.
I’m in the gorgeous Northern Rockies of Montana. I’ll be sitting by the fire and relaxing. We have a Monopoly game out and are thinking of starting a marathon game.
Tonight I will be staying in and celebrating with my husband. Our long standing tradition is to do fondue, share a bottle of wine and enjoy the fire.
We are going to a friend’s house. Hopefully our 2 year olds will go to bed by 8:00 and we will probably be up until the ball drops
I’m staying in with my hubby and baby! Were supposed to have bad weather here in Memphis so it will be nice to lay low! Happy new year, Amanda!!
This is a really nice prize! Thank you for the offer! We always go to my mother-in-law’s house for New Year’s. All the family will be there for lots of snacks and time spent together. And yes, we will watch the ball drop! Whoopee!
I’ll be at home celebrating with my boyfriend and our 125 lb chocolate lab! I can’t wait till the new year starts!! Happy New Year!!
I will be staying in and spending some time with Hubs! There is nothing like spending New Years Eve with the one you love the most! <3
i will be staying in with my family and my girlfriend :) we are having a belated christmas celebration!
We’re going to stay in tonight and have a quiet evening at home together. We aren’t much for going out on New Year’s Eve.
We’re having a “Wine & Sweats” evening. Making dinner with two dear friends, doing our weekly Bible study, enjoying some good wine, then hanging out till the big “ball drop”. AND wearing our relaxing clothes – sweats for the guys, yoga pants for the girls!
I will probably be at my computer when the ball drops finishing up on getting everything complete for my taxes. All the while, my kiddos are fast asleep and my husband is out of town working! If that doesn’t sound like fun I don’t know what is?! ha! And I may actually like to cook if I win this set!!! My current set is pitiful, not to mention old! Thanks for this giveaway-Happy New Year!
I used tonight as an excuse to clean the basement…and let out 15 yr old have his band mates over for the night :) Hubby & I get to sit upstairs – alone – watch a movie and have some champagne…so, not much different from our usual Friday night…except with a clean-and loud- basement :)
Happy New Year everyone!
Kevin & Amanda,
My husband and I are spending New Years Eve 2010 the best possible way EVER!! My darling father is losing his battle to cancer. We are going in to sit with him and my mother until we need to get him into bed. Then my wonderful husband is going home to be with our kids and I get to bring in the New Year by staying overnight by my dad’s bedside. How blessed am I? It breaks my heart fiercely to know I will no longer get to be with him, but he is truly the winner..Heaven bound.
Blessings to you both in 2011.
Ruth
We will be staying in and watching the ball drop! Happy New Year!
What a great giveaway!! We will be going to dinner with friends. The roads have been icy, so we will probably make sure we get home early enough to watch the ball drop at home and welcome in 2011!
We will be relaxing and staying up to watch the ball drop tonight. :)
OH how awesome… I’ve looked at these pans several times… they are sooooo awesome…. Okay tonight…..we go out to supper with friends (we’ve been doing that for many many years) then come home and go to bed by 10ish!! We use to stay up and play cards and watch the ball drop…..but that was in our younger years…..we’d rather get to bed now…
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours…. and please keep this wonderful website going….I love it… making those pecans today!!!
We’ll be staying in! We try to avoid the roads on New Years Eve :D
We(my husband and I)either we will stay home or meet up with our fellow retired military friends and bring in the new year with them at the America Legion in GA.

Tonight, my husband and I will be celebrating our first new year as a married couple! We are skipping the party scene and enjoying it at home together. We plan to cook a great dinner and rent movies to watch until the ball drops! Then, we will probably go right to sleep because we never stay up that late! :)
We will be going out for an early dinner with our kids and then coming home to watch Toy Story 3. Happy New Year!
We will be family friendly tonight either home or at my brother-in-laws. At 7 months pregnant and a pregnant sister-in-law it should be a tame evening that everyone may actually remember! :)

Tonight my husband and I will be going over to our friends house and playing games and enjoying everyones company!
My daughter and I love to cook together so this would be an awesome prize. I rarely go out NYE but tonight I get to take my mom and daughter to see the Beach Boys compliments of my brother who used to play with them years ago. So excited to celebrate with family.
We’re celebrating in a way we never have before, a dear friend’s wedding!
Lots of people scoffed at my friend Katie for having a NYE wedding celebration, but to me it makes perfect sense for so many reasons!
One, everyone (including me) is always looking for something to do on New Yer’s Eve. Two, we’re celebrating with a huge bunch of people we love (so not easy to organize other under circumstances)! And Three, it’s at a hotel, so everyone has a safe place to stay, and party the night away.
I am so looking forward to it!
Happy New Year Everyone :)
My husband and kids and I have gone bowling from 5-8 every year for the past 4 years…we LOVE it! The bowling alley has a countdown at 8 and everything. So much fun! A bunch of friends and neighbors come (over 90 kids alone this year!) and we have a blast!

We have four ranging from 5 to 15…the oldest got her learners permit yesterday, so we must celebrate that!!!
Kids will have sparkling cider and some Moscato for us!!!
I hope that everyone has a Happy and Blessed New Year!
Our tradition is to celebrate NYE with my best girlfriend and her husband. It’s also our “Christmas” celebration with them. We usually stay in, eat bad things, have a drink or two, and almost never last to midnight – the downside of getting old. :-P
I will be staying in tonight babysitting my 20 month old nephew and my 1 month old neice so that their parents can get a much needed and deserved night out. Should be fun ringing in the new year. I’m sure Chase will sleep through it, Aubrey on the other hand will probably not, still an unpredictable sleeper =)
Tonight we will sit all together as a family and watch some tv shows and play some games. Hopefully, we will all make it to midnight. The little one bought the party blowers for midnight! Then we will all wish each other a Happy New Year and crawl into bed ready to begin 2011!

Happy New Year everyone!
Our family stays in and up until the ball drops. And I will certainly stay up this year to ring out 2010. It was not a good year and I am ready for it to be G-O-N-E!!!

Tonight, we will be taking our family to my sister’s house for dinner. The kids are actually counting down the minutes until we get to go rather than the actual New Year! lol! We always have a great time and amazing food!
We are going to my inlaws. I’m hoping to see the ball drop, but will probably fall asleep waiting for it, lol :)
Strange thing, but I don’t like New Years, it’s sad for me. I will be in bed trying to get to sleep before the ball drops. The last time I stayed up was 1966.
