Hi Amanda & Kevin,
Really enjoy reading your blog. Tonight is still up in the air but it will be a nice, relaxing evening spent with family. We have my brother’s family coming in town since they missed out last week with stomach virus.
Can you believe we’re still celebrating Christmas on New Year’s Eve?! We were snowed in on Christmas (just like you!), so we’re all headed to Grandma’s house to unwrap some gifts and eat left-over cookies on New Years Eve. :) It will be early to bed for us, but what else were we to do with two nine-month-olds?! Hope yours is a great one!
Our town celebrates early for families with young kids. They will be dropping an M&M at 7pm so we will go to watch that!
Still not sure but I plan to cook up a storm today for dinner making various appetizer’s. If I do go out it will be to the local bar with my dad.
I’ll be ringing in the New Year with an ecclectic group of old and new friends at a friend’s house. It’s always one of the highlights of the year!
We are hosting a NYE party tonight! I love ending one year and beginning a new one surrounded by friends!
I am planning on staying in tonight – being 9 months pregnant and New Year’s Eve don’t mix well!!
My husband and I have chosen to stay in a bring in the new year by celebrating together. We will enjoy a fancy dinner, make goals/plans for the new year, and watch the ball drop together. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect way to bring in 2011!!
For the firs time in 5 years, my friends and I will be celebrating kids free! Looking forward to some adult time and the kiddos will be having fun with all the grandparents! Happy New Year!
I get to bring in the new year with some of favorite people. We are hosting and making our favorite steak and potatoes and lots of apps and a chocolatey dessert :)
What an awesome giveaway. Thanks for the chance to win. I will be celebrating New Years Eve with some very dear friends – we have been getting together every New Years Eve for over 25 years. We have great food to eat and play games and enjoy each others company.
Thanks for your great blog – I enjoy everything I read!
Happy New Year to you!
I’ll be staying in… maybe rent a few movies, make something delicious, have a few friends over. Nothing too crazy, just low-key and simple :) Happy New Year to you!
We are taking it easy…just me and my hubs and our 12 yr old son. We’ll have a nice dinner as a family, play some games, watch the ball drop on TV and then go to bed. Nice, easy, relaxing and safe!
Happy New Year to all of you too and thank you for the opportunity to win this phenomenal prize!
We’ll be heading out to watch an annual fireworks show some of our friends put on. I plan to be bundled up and enjoying some hot cocoa with home-made marshmallows(yum)to stay warm.
Thanks for the chance to win such a great giveaway! Happy New Year!
Staying in with a good movie and my husband…. also a bottle of sparkling berry wine that I got at a wine tasting last week with co-workers… it may seem lame to stay in on new years, but I am really looking forward to that bottle of wine, and don’t want to share! Also, we don’t have to worry about all the intoxicated drivers on the roads.
With all that cookware, I would never have an excuse for ordering take-out again!
Staying in…gonna make some appetizers and goodies and watch Dick Clark’s Primetime New Year’s Rockin’ Eve!!
Celebrating with friends and probably asleep before midnight!
Tonight, I believe we will be staying in. Although I will have the rest of the family up with me to watch the ball drop, dh will be in bed early so that he can be well rested for the last day of hunting season :)
I am spending the New Year with my hubby and 2 kids……he is military, so we are usually apart or spending it with our parents. This year, we are spending it together…..my son leaves for college next fall. So this one will be MEMORABLE!
I will be celebrating the New Years at home with my family:) We will play games, eat, eat some more, and enjoy each others company.

Awesome giveaway! I am celebrating a very cold New Year here in Colorado! I really do enjoy reading your blog. I made the Ritz dipped for Christmas Day family gathering, but I used Ritz brand pretzel crackers. They were a huge hit. Thanks for sharing your ideas!!Happy New Year
My son and I will be having a movie marathon and watching the ball drop at midnight!
Tonight we’ll spend time with friends at their house playing games… and, since we have a 3-year-old, we might be celebrating East Coast New Year’s (or earlier ;) ) instead of our own Central time zone New Year!
I will be sitting outside our RV in south Texas warm weather with my hubby and 3 dogs.
I will be celebrating the New Year at home with my family. It has become a tradition for us to gather together and watch movies and eat. Happy New Year to everyone!
I will be staying home tonight watching the ball drop on tv.
We will be with friends tonight! We always do a mock countdown with sparkling cider with the kids at 8pm or so to let them help ring in the new year! Not sure if I will actually make it to 12 or not but here’s to hoping!
I will be spending New Year’s Eve with my family in church. Our church has a midnight service and after that we will probably grab some breakfast before bed. Happy New Year!!!!!
My husband and I are staying in and I’m making a lobster tail and champagne dinner. Its become sort of a tradition for the past few years and we really look forward to it. Just him and I.
Happy New Year to both of you!
We will go to our church for the prophecy update, then come home and have tortilla soup with friends, and just relax until midnight. The girls will probably scrapbook and the guys will probably watch tv. Hmmm…maybe next year I should try shredded pork tortilla soup.
I’m pregnant with twins and will no doubt be in bed by 9!! I’ve got three girls who won’t understand that Mama couldn’t get out of bed the next morning because she stayed up to watch the ball drop. Instead, I’ve tivo’ed the ball drop so we can all watch it together on the 1st.
I’ve tivo’ed it before too! Still fun the next morning!
I will be enjoying a chocolate fountain with my family since my kids were too sick to have it on Christmas Eve. Then heading to bed after the ball drops.
We will be staying in watching the ball drop on tv. This is the one night of the year I hate being out so we will play board games with the little one till he falls asleep then I’ll probably fall asleep too! Hope you have a great New Years!
My parents are visiting town, so we’re all hanging out at home. I’m sure I will fall asleep before the ball drops, but hopefully my husband will wake me up for a kiss! :) Sometimes I wish we lived on the west coast so it would drop at 9! :)
I honestly have no clue how we are celebrating the New Year………we are basically flying by the seat of our pants this year and are up for whatever comes our way! Maybe going out, maybe hanging with friends and/or family…….still not sure yet! Either way, I’ll be up until midnight or later! :)
We’re having my cousins and their kids over. After a day of sledding, jumping on the trampoline and awesome food, we’re going to send off Chinese Lanterns into the sky at midnight. They look so beautiful floating away!!!
I plan on staying home with my family and cooking for them. We would rather stay at home as we are too worried about being on the roads tonight. I am going to smoke an apple/bacon pork tenderloin, collards, hoppin johns and corn roasted grits. I am also going to make a few chess pies too. I love nothing more than cooking and being with my family on this wonderful night. Happy New Years to everyone.

Staying in… pizza and movies with my family. I always plan to make it to midnight but i dont always make it. Laying on the couch watching a movie with my 2 year old is tiring hard work. :)

We have been invited to several parties, but will probably stay home and enjoying getting to spend our first New Year’s Eve together in 10 years. We will be spending tonight with family. Mom and dad [80 years old] brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Playing games and enjoying each other. Happy New Year everyone!
Today and tonight we will likely be staying in because of the snow storm that hit us here in Colorado last night. I doubt very seriously that I will be able to stay up that late to watch the ball. How boring are we, oh well, were happy in our snuggly warm house:) Happy New Year!
