Denise November 12, 2011 at 6:40 pm

Kirt November 12, 2011 at 6:40 pm

I’d make potato rolls. I have this family recipe that always overflows the bowl in my current mixer. It makes it tricky to get the dough to the smooth consistency that I like.

Jenny Johns November 12, 2011 at 6:45 pm

Oh my gosh…is this not the prettiest mixer?!!!! After inviting my friends over to stare at how pretty it is for at least an hour…I would finally get the nerve to mix up cake recipes for cake pops and cupcakes! Then I would mix up some cookie dough; then I would go on to pies; then… *chuckle* This would be a dream….swoon~

Michelle November 12, 2011 at 7:06 pm

I would definitely make my great grandmother’s sour cream cut out cookie recipe! It is dangerously bad for you, but so amazingly delicious. It is a family tradition that we make every year! Because it makes such a thick, heavy dough, a kitchen aid mixer would make the cookie baking tradition even more fun!

Melinda November 12, 2011 at 7:06 pm

I would make my aunt’s carnival cake with creamy frosting.

Wendy November 12, 2011 at 7:55 pm

Juliana Walters November 12, 2011 at 8:18 pm

Dough for Pasties (meat pie). I usually make very large batches of them to freeze for future “quick and easy” dinners. It is a pain in the behind to do this (blend cups upon cups of flour with pounds upon pounds of butter) with a pastry hand blender.

Stacie November 12, 2011 at 8:18 pm

I would my a giant batch of gooey brownies.

Kjristi November 12, 2011 at 8:20 pm

Jackie November 12, 2011 at 8:22 pm

The first thing I would make in my new black 7-qt Bowl Lift Stand Mixer by KitchenAid is my pumpkin bread recipe. It’s a big recipe, so the extra-large mixer bowl would be great. Thanks for the chance to win!

Cheryl Newton November 12, 2011 at 8:24 pm

I bought a couple bags of those white chocolate-candy corn M&Ms before Halloween and (I know; shame on me) haven’t used them yet. So, the first thing I would make with this mxer (silver, please) is whatever yummy dessert-type item recipe I saved that calls for them. Cookie? Blondie? I read so many (way *too* many) food/recipe blogs and save so many recipes (currently 5 binders’ worth) that I can’t remember. But to break in this mixer, I won’t stop until I find that recipe!

Sharon Ivy November 12, 2011 at 8:27 pm

I would make an Apricot Nectar Cake, just like my mom used to make!

Kinna November 12, 2011 at 8:28 pm

Hi there!

First off, I’m a HUGE fan of your blog. I admire your willingness to help others out with blog designs, free fonts and digiscrapbooking freebies. Thank you kindly. As for utilizing this amazing state-of-the-art mixer, I would LOVE to try my hand at making a baked cheesecake recipe I came across on the following blog, featured at the bottom of the page:

I recently tried a slice of baked cheesecake and just feell in love. It’s like no other cheesecake I’ve ever tried. I have my heart set on whipping up a similar concoction myself; but in order to produce a fluffy texture, I think I’ll need a mixer..or an incredibly strong arm, haha. Here’s to hoping!

Jessica E November 12, 2011 at 8:29 pm

I would make gluten-free bread to use for stuffing this thanksgiving!!

Linda November 12, 2011 at 8:31 pm

We will then be participating in RAK (Random Acts of Kindness) and take them to the local fire departments and police department! :)
I sure hope I win!

Jennifer November 12, 2011 at 8:33 pm

I’d make snickerdoodles!

Luci Sheriff November 12, 2011 at 8:33 pm

Kid’s choice. They always want to use the hand mixer…. I shudder. So I would let them choose

Abby November 12, 2011 at 8:33 pm
