I would definitely make banana bread for my neighbors, sisters & myself. It’s my comfort food especially since the temperature here in Utah has dropped a ton and it’s freezing. Nothing beats a fresh loaf of banana bread sprinkled w/chocolate chips on top with a cup of warm milk on cold winter’s night. I really hope I win. I’ve never owned a mixer like this before. I would be able to make so many things with it. Bread, cookies, cakes, scones, pancakes, waffles & all the above. :D And I REALLY would make it all!! :D

I would make pumpkin bread for gifts for friends and family. My daughter grows and cans her own pumpkin and she is always glad to share with me. I have made pumpkin bread for many years. I use little mini loaf pans and people just love to receive it all gaily wrapped with my own little “Merry Christmas” card attached. I don’t have a big mixer but I make do with my little hand held. This mixer would be very much of a blessing to me this year. Merry Christmas and God bless you for all your fun stuff, Amanda.

I would make my Glazed Cherry Cream Cheese Stollen. It is recipe created by my sister based on a local bakery in her Missouri town. It has a wonderfully, soft white bread dough on the base, topped with a cream cheese mixture, topped with cherries, top with more soft white bread dough, and then glazed on the top! Better stop now! I’m getting hungry thinking about it!

Oh please please pick me! I need one – in black shining in my kitchen. I have a long list of things I want to make. But top on it gulub jamun – Indian sweet dumplings – my granny’s recipe. Traditionally she used to hand knead the dough and it takes too long and I can barely do it. This would make my life so much easier and I would also love learning a family favorite recipe
