The Silhouette would be able to to help me give my future sister in law the wedding and bridal shower that she will always remember.

Oh good lord! This will only add to my out-of-control A.D.D. Oh well though, right!!! I’m getting married in a few months and have decided that it would be in my best interest (or worse) to make most things by myself. I’ve gotten through a good deal of the invitation making process – i’ve made envelopes. i’ve been looking everywhere for a way to add our initials and graphics to the invitations and everything else, actually. This would be most wonderful. And then much to my husbands chagrin, I would then have to use it to complete the millions of lovely projects that have added to the already millions in my head as i write this. yay! thanks and i love your site?

  27. Paige

They are both filled with love and I would absolutely enjoy to create scrapbooks for each of them to cherish. I would have to say that I would try cutting out my fave quotes from movies, songs, books, and celebs and putting them on a binder for school. I like to show who I and what I like . . . I have a very eclectic musical horizon. I love music and well . . . I love to express myself with it. I have done pages to go into the view cover of a binder but those were just boring, 1-D little things. This . . . would allow me to take my self-expression to a whole new level. In high school . . . it’s important to express yourself . . . I’ve learned that in the past few months. If you don’t and you hold all of your emotions inside . . . you will explode.

Where to start?!? I see all of the amazing things that people give & make, I had NO idea that there was a product like Silouette that could do it ALL. I’ve looked at similar products but didn’t like that you can’t use your own fonts…this makes my day! I think I’d start with paper crafts & vinyl to decorate my little one’s nursery walls, and then move onto me…shirts, purses, holiday gifts. My mind is spinning with ideas! I’d LOVE one!

How wonderful your making it possible for one of us to own the silhouette!!!!

  474. Peggy Whisenhunt

I want to put up some words of wisdom that my mom used to give me and put up on the wall in my scrapbook room. She passed away 3 years ago and I call my scrapbook room, memaw’s room because I fee so close to her in my space doing what I love to do. She was always so supportive of any craft that I did. She made me feel talented in whatever I did even though I knew there were so many other people more talented than me. Moms are the best.

  475. JESSE

A few years back I bought a vinyl wall saying for my daughter’s wall that says “Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who’s the fairest one of all? You are! Love, Mom” Wicked cute! I think I would have a very hard time choosing between etching glass (cuz I know I would hit up Goodwill for some custom funky pieces), or trying the iron-on transfers to make a satchel as cool as the one in the image above (gray with yellow). I am always on the hunt for a nice cute knitting bag, but I have yet to find one; maybe I need to make and customize one? I think yes!

Hope your Thanksgiving was happy! Love your blog!

Sadly, I had forgot to buy self sticking labels so I ended up using your awesome fonts to make a cute little label with regular paper… It looked great, that is until we walked out into the rain. :( In less than a minute the cute little label was ruined.

We’d use it make all sorts of inspirational signs for our hallways, fun bulletin boards, and much-needed shelving labels in the library. I bet the teachers would even make t-shirts for special events to encourage our students. Go Warrensurg Tigers — and their teachers!

I’ve been wanting a Silhouette! I teach kindergarten and for years my favorite gift we make are silhouettes. I’ve evolved over the years from using an overhead to trace their silhouette on black construction paper(ughh, took FOREVER and 5 year olds can’t sit still) to taking a picture on my camera and printing it on the back of silhouette paper and cutting them out. These are very time-consuming projects and not always as precise as I would like. I would LOVE to do this project as my first of many projects on the Silhouette! Then I would label my classroom and my home with cute & cool banners.

  920. Janet Welch

what a neat gadget, as I’m the gadget girl I’d love to win this and I think I’d have to try the fake tattoos first and then move on the the heat transfers!

I’d love one of these. I’d probably use it to make iron on transfers for some sewing projects I have. Or…I’d use it to decorate the nursery I’m working on. So many ideas.

  982. Kristina G.

I would label all my casserole dishes, I think personalizing stuff like that makes it look nicer when you take it somewhere.

  983. Cara P

Wow! I would of course use it in my card making and everyday crafting, but I would love to try out some of that vinyl to decorate my house. We’ve been here almost 3 years and there’s barely anything on the walls! I’m kind of picky when it comes to wall art, so making my own would definitely solve that problem!

  984. Kindel

I would definitely start by making cute labels for stuff in my house. Etching glass? Who knew the Silhouette could do that?! Love it!

I would love to make custom tees for my daughter’s soccer team…how cute would they look with their team name on a bag or tee. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  986. Emily

My sister would adore this for Christmas! So not sure what I would make, since I’d give it to her, but she is so crafty, she’ll come up with something in minutes! Maybe some vinyl letters for her bedroom wall? :) Thanks!

  987. Chelsea S

I would do a vinyl wall art project – maybe some sort of family tree on my wall?
What a great giveaway – thanks!

  988. Lorinda

Amanda what a wonderful giveaway! I am UBER excited at my own chance at winning. I would try my hand at vinyl lettering so I could organize all my storage containers.

  989. Sophia Allison

Would use it to add some pretty sayings around our home on vinyls…♥ Thanks for a chance of winning such an awesome prize!!!

  990. Cindi

I’m a teacher (1st grade) and I would LOVE to cut vinyl to put on all the many plastic tubs (I’m a little OCD, lol) to label them. What a wonderful giveaway! Thank you for the chance to enter and Happy belated Thanksgiving!

  991. Coni

I would make a sign with vinyl letters…and I am dying to make a t-shirt for my kids! Love this…I have been contemplating buying it for awhile now! Just might have to do it on Monday if I don’t win the giveaway! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving:)

  992. Courtney C

I want one of these so bad! I love to scrapbook and am starting to get interested in making cards. Right now I am trying to design a baby shower invitation and this would help out a great deal. :)

    1. Jupiter S.

Love this machine!! I just got one and I absolutely love it! The Kevin & Amanda fonts look amazing on cards, wall decals, and…. who am I kidding? they look awesome any way you use them :)
A must-have for anybody who reads this blog!

P.S.- Wall-decals and cards are lots of fun to make! I also use it for school projects and so far I’ve got straight A’s for the project part of my grades

  993. Amber

I wouldn’t know where to begin! I love the iron-on look for t-shirts for my toddler, but I love anything monogrammed, so the vinyl would be fun too!

  994. Laura Fitzgerald

I’ve been wanting a silhouette FOREVER, but it’s just not in the budget right now… I think I’d use it for this years christmas cards first… nothing like setting a machine, and letting it do all the work for you making die-cuts instead of rolling each one through by hand!

  995. Carolynn F

I would make those super cute frosted lables for my dry goods…I love that look! Thanks for the great ideas.

  996. A Cupcake for Moose

I love the customized Pyrex dishes. They would make great gifts. Hope you had a lovely thanksgiving!
