I did enjoy Black Friday this year. I was able to get a couple of Christmas gifts for my daughter. Everyone was very friendly and wishing me Merry Christmas. It was great and a fun experience!!!!

3
Aimee November 25, 2011 at 1:08 am

I avoid crowded shopping venues at any time of the year, so Black Friday is a big NO for me! And, for the first time in our marriage, DH is staying home this year, too. (The midnight openings annoyed him enough to keep him away.) :)

4
Erin Davis November 25, 2011 at 1:08 am

No I am not going shopping! It’s too crazy for me! :)

5
Christi Kurtz November 25, 2011 at 1:10 am

I just bought my first ever Kitchenaid mixer online with a sweet, sweet deal from Kohl’s. I have three boys and the last straw was when one of them threw the beater to my cheapo mixer in the trash. I think it will inspire me to be excited about meal planning and cooking/baking.

6
Cindy G. November 25, 2011 at 1:12 am

I don’t do Black Friday. I don’t like to shop. And I don’t like the cold (so waiting in the freezing cold to get into a store.) I also don’t really like the crowds. I prefer to spend a little more and buy online. Then I can stay home in my pajamas and snuggle with my kiddos!

7
Yara Simon November 25, 2011 at 1:15 am

I did Black Friday shopping for the first time. I was at Best Buy in the cold for hours, but it ended up working really well. I’m glad it was calm enough at this location.

8
Connie T November 25, 2011 at 1:17 am

I need new pans. My pans are old and scratched. I am going to Wal-mart right now to see if I can get a computer for the 12 am black friday sale. It will probably be a zoo.

9
jessica larsen November 25, 2011 at 1:18 am

I avoid Black Friday shopping in stores. I do hunt for deals online though! Im currently trying to track (and score) the Wii $99 bundle!

10
Elaine November 25, 2011 at 1:19 am

I hope this is open to Canadian residents!? Awesome! I went Black Friday shopping 4 years ago. We crossed the border and made a weekend of it. So much fun!

11
Madolyn November 25, 2011 at 1:21 am

I haven’t really been out on Black Friday but do try to get in on the Cyber deals. I have been coveting Calphalon pans for a year now so this give away is super awesome!

12
Mic S November 25, 2011 at 1:21 am

I’m passing on BF shopping this year in favor of sleep! But I’ll be doing some online.

13
Shelley November 25, 2011 at 1:30 am

I just stood in line at Walmart for 2 hours to get pajamas and milk. Never again…

14
KelsieG November 25, 2011 at 1:33 am

Totally avoiding any and all hellacious mall experiences by sourcing all of my Christmas gifts from the artisans and craftspeople at etsy.com :) :)

15
Rachel November 25, 2011 at 1:35 am

I am not a fan of Black Friday. Normally I have my shopping already done, and the hype terrifies me. Although, this year I have seriously considered heading to Macy’s in the am for a planned flashmob. A teenager in our community is living with cancer that is most likely going to take her life, and one of the items on her Bucket List is to be part of a singing flashmob. Maaaay just have to pop over to the mall at 5am to support her, but not to buy anything!

16
Kirsten November 25, 2011 at 1:38 am

No Black Friday shopping for this gal, I’m usually still hungover on turkey, pie and everything else from the Thanksgiving table!

17
Dalis November 25, 2011 at 1:41 am

my husband just called me that he got the TV he wanted and now seems like the check out line will be another hour AT LEAST!.

20
Jaclyn F. November 25, 2011 at 1:47 am

Nope, didn’t go shopping tonight. I’ve gone twice, once when the stores were first opening and once later in the day. Not my thing. Way too crazy!

21
Farah November 25, 2011 at 1:48 am

Probably not! Ahh but if we do, I’m eyeing for a stand mixture for baking! Haha I woke up pretty late today, 10 AM when it’s usually 8 :P

22
Megan Doddridge November 25, 2011 at 1:48 am

Since I’m in Japan for Thanksgiving, no Black Friday, but I’m waiting for some great deals on cyber Monday! Hope I’m not disappointed!!

23
Ashley November 25, 2011 at 1:48 am

I’m planning doing some shopping. I’m going to Michael’s and Joann’s. I love cheap craft supplies!

24

It’s 12:50 and I’ve already been out & got all my shopping done! YES!!

26
Melissa November 25, 2011 at 1:52 am

Well, I don’t do the go-shopping-at-ungodly-hours thing. But I will go shopping with my family tomorrow at 10 am. I just bought a new iphone online! I’ve never had a smartphone before, so i am excited! And… I LOVE calphalon!!

Dear Random.org: Pick me, pick me!

27
Terri Ballard November 25, 2011 at 1:53 am

I love the feeling of the hustle and bustle and the smiles on everyone’s faces so I will be going out. I’m not going to sleep will be leaving out in about an hour. Looking for gifts for the family and maybe a new laptop for myself.

28
Jodi Krautkramer November 25, 2011 at 1:53 am

I used to love black Friday, but now I really just want to enjoy my Christmas shopping. I do not get up early to go shopping, I instead, head out at the time most people take a break for breakfast! Try and avoid the rush at all cost!!

29
Rachel Reddin November 25, 2011 at 1:54 am

31
Aundrea November 25, 2011 at 1:56 am

Black Friday & I have a love/hate relationship. I love the deals, hate the craziness. :) I hit Walmart to get a few things & that was it for me. I decided online shopping is the way to go!

Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

32
Kari Donahue November 25, 2011 at 1:56 am

It’s been a family tradition since I was a child…but not near as crazy as this year. We’re home for a short break before heading back out.

33
julie berry November 25, 2011 at 1:59 am

I shop online – black friday is online too. No lines and no cold

34
Judi Vrieling November 25, 2011 at 2:00 am

I would so love to win – -!! I didn’t get to go and do the Black Friday shopping, I work in a medical office and have to be working early a.m.!

35
Michelle November 25, 2011 at 2:01 am

I LOVE Black Friday. It gives me a chance to shop all day and night for Xmas gifts. I usually knock out about 50% of my gifts when I come. Even though the deals are sometimes not the best… You are still saving a few bucks!!! :D and I love to save moneeeeyyyy. The first store I went to at 4:00pm before thanksgiving dinner was michaels. I did DAMAGE! Let’s not even talk about what’s coming up. It’s already 3:00am and I’m in my 3rd store.

36
Dee November 25, 2011 at 2:04 am

One of these years I’m going to go shopping on Black Friday but it won’t be this year. I’m opting for Cyber Monday. :)

Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

37
joy brow November 25, 2011 at 2:04 am

I plan to do a little black Friday shopping, I am not getting up extra early though, hope I find some good deals. Thanks for the chance to win Joy

38
Erica Schumacher November 25, 2011 at 2:05 am

What a fantastic set of pots and pans! WRT Black Friday, I have no plans to brave the shopping throngs in the flesh, but just placed an online order for a new cell phone and some upscale cosmetics. I didn’t seek these goodies out but the email updates were too tempting to overlook – much like the Kevin & Amanda notice!!! Please pick me!

39
Loralei November 25, 2011 at 2:05 am

I’m not going Black Friday shopping. I never got to look at the ads with all of the cooking/cleaning I did for Turkey Day. I also haven’t decided what is on my “gift list” yet. we might go to a huge craft fair in a nearby city, or else, I will just lounge around and perhaps do some online shopping.

40
Amy November 25, 2011 at 2:05 am

I love black Friday shopping with my mother-in-law. It’s become a tradition and even if we don’t by much, I just love getting out to the stores. It really gets me in the holiday spirit! Love this giveaway. The bronze color of this set is gorgeous! Thanks

41
Cecilia November 25, 2011 at 2:06 am

No black friday for me but I will go shopping later on in the day.
I need a new coffee pot so I will check out Costco in the late
afternoon.

42
Kim M. November 25, 2011 at 2:07 am

I do not shop on Black Friday. Too many people!

43
zaara November 25, 2011 at 2:07 am

Well, one thing i wanna say is that i love the hustle bustle of the shops and streets!

44
Mary Anne Tomlinson November 25, 2011 at 2:08 am

I will do some online shopping for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and I will probably go to the craft store…but NO malls!

45
Michelle Lowder November 25, 2011 at 2:09 am

I am breaking a family tradition this year. My sisters and I have always shopped Black Friday, mainly for the thrill of the deal. This year is different – I am struggling with putting food on the table and gas in the tank that me and my 4 girls have decided to change our view of what we want Christmas to be like this year.

46
Scott ☺ November 25, 2011 at 2:10 am

Not going out as a shopper, but as a shoppers helper! I’ll be loading sacks of concrete in your stocking at the local Home Depot! Hope you and Kevin have a wonderful holiday :~}

47
Denise O. November 25, 2011 at 2:10 am

I do most of my Christmas shopping online and try to avoid the stores at all costs. It gets too crazy out there for me.

48
Celenia November 25, 2011 at 2:11 am

I don’t think I’ll be doing Black Friday this year, but I’m all for Cyber Monday deals! This pot set would be great.

49
Shallyse November 25, 2011 at 2:11 am

We’re avoiding Black Friday shopping this year. Did a little online shopping, and planning on keeping it local this year and supporting Small Business Saturday.

50
Carolyn November 25, 2011 at 2:12 am

I’m not going shopping for Black Friday, but I might find some deals online! I guess that counts ;).

51
Tarryn Quinlan November 25, 2011 at 2:12 am

We went to some outlets at midnight. We never went to sleep but left around 3 and are headed to bed. It was extremely crowded! Especially the coach and Nike store those were ridiculous! We ended up walking away with a good amount of stuff and some good clothing buys for my son. It was an experience!

52
Tammie November 25, 2011 at 2:13 am

I used to be a huge fan of Black Friday but after several years of it, I quit – cold turkey. Nowadays, I don’t think the deals are always worth the hassle or my time.
Thanks for asking!

53
DeAnna November 25, 2011 at 2:16 am

Black Friday shopping has become a tradition of mine! I stand outside of the shops thinking “these people are insane” then I realize I am one of them ;) I love the craziness! Ive been up since 6 am and still going strong at 3:15am! Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving!

54
Pete Mathis November 25, 2011 at 2:20 am

‘Seems to me like a good day to stay home and shop the internet!

55
Dana November 25, 2011 at 2:21 am

Every year it’s a sister tradition

56
Vivian November 25, 2011 at 2:22 am

I actually went out tonight, and did a little damage. But I am home now!!!

57
Mary November 25, 2011 at 2:22 am

I never shop on Black Friday as I don’t like crowds. My husband however, gets up early and goes to specific stores for certain BF deals. I’ve been surfing to see if anyone has Calphalon BF deals as my cookware is peeling and needs replacing asap!

58
Tiffany November 25, 2011 at 2:24 am

No black Friday shopping for me!!! But my pots and pans need replacing and these are beautiful! Love the color! They are sure to inspire some amazing family cooking!

59
Amy November 25, 2011 at 2:24 am

Just bought my first kitchen aid mixer! Cant wait to make all your yummy recipes with it!

60
Pam November 25, 2011 at 2:25 am

LOVE Black Friday shopping. Love the crowds, love the bargains, love the getting up early, love the hustle and bustle! Always go with a friend or sister and usually go with a list!

61
Alicia November 25, 2011 at 2:26 am

I have always thought that black Friday shoppers were insane… until lately. I love being able to snatch great deals. It is so exciting!

62
Leslie November 25, 2011 at 2:28 am

We usually go out Black Friday shopping but it started too early this year and I didn’t want it to interfere with our Thanksgiving celebration! I’m trying to do my shopping online but it’s frustrating because the websites are having issues from so much traffic!!

63
Brianne November 25, 2011 at 2:30 am

I did Black Friday shopping a couple years ago and swore I’d never do it again. I do love the cyber deals though!!

64
Deanna November 25, 2011 at 2:32 am

I just spent my Black Friday shopping in the comfort of my own home by shopping online! QUESTION? Does anyone remember a time before the internet? ; )

65
Laurie Ann Phinney November 25, 2011 at 2:33 am

Oh My…LOL! It’s online Black Friday shopping for me Amanda – Stores and Shops (Etsy and Everywhere Else) are having fabulous sales – I am supporting small businesses and avoiding stress, in many cases, finding unique, one of a kind gifts for my family. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I would love to win this set of cookware for my darling husband – He loves to cook for me, but our pans…Well, pretty sad right now. Still, he creates masterpieces using them. Smiles…
I Hope Your Thanksgiving Was Filled With Joy and Laughter!
Hugs From Laurie

66
Cori November 25, 2011 at 2:34 am

I dont think the deals are good enough to take the risk of being trampled so I will do some cyber Monday shopping since most of my stuff has to be sent out anyway. Happy thanksgiving!

67
Lori November 25, 2011 at 2:35 am

As we speak, it is 12:32 in California. My husband has been gone for 2 hours shopping – for shoes no less. I love shopping in cyberspace in PJ’s and have already done so twice! Cookware is on my list this year….Santa I have been very, very GOOD!

68
Marie November 25, 2011 at 2:35 am

Oh I hate shopping among crowds of people! I avoid it like the plague! I prefer to shop on Cyber Monday where I don’t have to deal with crowds of people. :)

69
Ruby November 25, 2011 at 2:37 am

I hope this is open to Australia residents!!!
I am married to an American, though we currently live in Australia – the only form of block friday shopping we do is online through Amazon black friday deals.

70
Sara November 25, 2011 at 2:40 am

I am hoping to get up around 5…maybe and go to the Apple Store and get myself a laptop. Mine is on the brink of disaster!

71
Michelle G November 25, 2011 at 2:40 am

I prefer cyber Monday, but I ventured out this evening for some birthday presents. Not too bad. A total of 1 1/2 hours in and out.

72
Lori November 25, 2011 at 2:40 am

We always go around 5 am, but this year we tried the midnight thing, what a joke, you could not even get into a parking lot. The stores that did this were just insanely busy. Not fun. I like the getting up early and going, just have fun, look and maybe buy something fun. Then it’s out to breakfast!

73
Sarah lejeune November 25, 2011 at 2:41 am

I so need a new set! I hope I’m lucky and win!!!

74
Shelly November 25, 2011 at 2:42 am

Sometimes I go, but this year I didn’t.

75
Ify November 25, 2011 at 2:45 am

I went out at 10pm, and got quite a few dvds. It was actually my first experience with BF Shopping!

76
Jenny November 25, 2011 at 2:46 am

No black Friday for me! But I love to look at the ads that come in the paper!

77
Dar November 25, 2011 at 2:46 am

One of the first years I haven’t headed out to shop in the wee hours of the morning. I always find some great deals. This year I did some online shopping and seemed to fair just as well without the crazy lines. Still feels like I’m missing out…

78
Leigh Williams November 25, 2011 at 2:48 am

We went, we saw, we shopped, I’m pooped. The end. :)

79
bea zemlik November 25, 2011 at 2:50 am

Avoid it like the plague! But only since I’ve had kids, I used to camp out too!

80
Lily November 25, 2011 at 2:58 am

I’m staying home to do my school work!

81
Annick Vliegen November 25, 2011 at 2:59 am

Well, we do not really know the phenomena of black friday, but i would try it out, must be fun to know there are great bargains to get.
Perhaps it will come to Belgium as well and them i will be able to really comment on the subject.
Have great fun with your black friday!!
Culinary greetings,
Annick

82
Aggie November 25, 2011 at 3:00 am

I’m up now getting ready to head out and find some deals! Thank you for the giveaway!

83
Sara S. November 25, 2011 at 3:00 am

I’m definitely not going out during black Friday! I’ve never been out to shop, just to work. It is very tempting, though, when you live in a biggish city like Portland!

84
Christie November 25, 2011 at 3:02 am

We did most of our Black Friday shopping online. I would have loved to go out, but we didn’t have a sitter. The husband is sitting at the store on base right now hoping to snag an Xbox & some special edition Nintendo DS. I’m at home in my pjs stalking the Amazon deals :)

85
Amanda November 25, 2011 at 3:07 am

Hit up Old Navy for the free underwater camera and scored!

86
Ali November 25, 2011 at 3:09 am

I am going for the first time ever!! I cant wait. I know it will be crazy but my husband wants a new TV so I have my eye on one.

87
Kevin November 25, 2011 at 3:09 am

We started our shopping at midnight :)

88
Brandi Smith November 25, 2011 at 3:20 am

I have been a Black Friday shopper for 8 years or so. It is now 3:17AM and I just got home from going to Target. I got there at 10:30PM Thurs night and stood in line for and hour and a half only to get thru the doors @ 12:05 and ALL the 40″ TVs were gone:( Then I stood in the electronics line for 2 and a half hours to get my daughter an iPod Touch. (The things we do for our kids.)
I came home to check emails and found this…..maybe I’ll win a much needed cookware set. Who needs a 40″ TV anyways?!

89
Alicia November 25, 2011 at 3:23 am

I braved the lines and slightly cold weather to go to best buy and wal mart with my boyfriend’s sisters. They got the TV that they were looking for and I picked up a couple stocking stuffers for the boyfriend.

90
Leslie Kiley November 25, 2011 at 3:25 am

This year there is no extra money for big shopping except for necessities such as a new bed as we just bought a new home and it needs everything. I will be getting up at 8 to buy the bed and then home for leftovers! love to add those beautiful pot and pans to my beautiful mocha kitchen!

91
The Monogrammed Mrs. November 25, 2011 at 3:26 am

I avoid Black Friday shopping at all costs. Early in the morning and throughout the day! Thanks for the opportunity to win!

92
Sabine November 25, 2011 at 3:28 am

I never do shopping on Black Friday – there are enough days of the year left ;)

93
Joan P November 25, 2011 at 3:31 am

I did most of my shopping online when I was fat from eating thanksgiving dinner! Do need to do a quick run to one store and that is all for today.

94
Mea November 25, 2011 at 3:34 am

I avoid it like the plague!! :-) Crazy crowds.

95
Wini November 25, 2011 at 3:36 am

It is 4:30 now and I am on my way out now to try to girls each a Nook. Wish me Black Friday Luck!

96
Lara Hanson November 25, 2011 at 3:38 am

I do not shop for black Friday. I did one year and do not want to do it any more.

97
Stella paeglow November 25, 2011 at 3:42 am

I love black Friday! My daughter is moving into her apartment so we’re on the hunt for kitchen and bath items this year.

98
Lisa Lewey-Shields November 25, 2011 at 3:42 am

I USED to do black friday every year and get up early and fight the crowds. I would charge and max my cc to just pay for it all year and not save anything. I now do not have one credit card and do not fight the crowds. I save and shop with cash or debit and do not join in all the chaos of black friday. I am glad for those who enjoy it and can take part…. just not my thing anymore. We are all not exchanging gifts this year. No money this year …. but not a problem, We give all year long…..

99
Danelle Reilly November 25, 2011 at 3:44 am

Love Black Friday shopping! Kicks off the holidays for me Thanksgiving, black friday shopping, and saturday decorate. I will be out for the video games electronics, and dvds that are on the wish list of my male dominated home and if I find a few things for myself while I am out. Love the Bargin even the hoards of people cannot keep me away. Bargins have me up at 3:00 am for online deals.

100
Amy F. November 25, 2011 at 3:45 am

I might as well be out shopping seeing as how I’ve been up since 3:30 this morning but no, I’m not a black Friday consumer. Cyber Monday? Now that’s right up my alley. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.

101
Rachel Casebier November 25, 2011 at 3:47 am

I don’t go out to the stores for Black Friday – I do all my shopping online. =)

102
Kelli November 25, 2011 at 3:51 am

There’s no way you could get me out there! Instead of freezing my behind off standing in line, I enjoyed snuggling and a movie with my husband after the baby went to sleep.

103
Amy K November 25, 2011 at 3:59 am

I do not get into the Black Friday madness. I’m perfectly happy shopping from home in my pjs, with all the online BF deals and Cyber Monday as well. Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful cookware.

104
Whitney W November 25, 2011 at 4:02 am

This is the first year in many years that I have not gone black Friday shopping! We just had twin boys the end of July and it would be next to impossible to take two little ones out at 3-4am or to keep them out past midnight do we spent the evening at home! Maybe next year we will brave the crowds!

105
Theresa D. November 25, 2011 at 4:03 am

I’m more of a cyber shopper on black Friday ! I like staying home on my computer looking for great deals :) this year I’m looking for a new camera & a panini press, wish me luck!

106
Becca November 25, 2011 at 4:04 am

Hi Amanda!
Thank you for putting forth such a fantastic blog! I have learned how to be more creative with my writing and my camera. And my family and friends love your recipes! I share them often on facebook and emails!
I am about to set out for some “BLACK FRIDAY” shopping. Buying for Christmas and other special occasions! I’ve already taken advantage of some online sales this “Black Friday” morning! Trying to stick with an extremely tight budget in this economy.
Good luck with your own “black friday” adventures! Hope I win the cookware. I’m down to one sauce pot, one stew pot and no omelette pans :( Sooo I really need a new set! If I don’t win….. maybe Santa (me) will find a set on sale soon!
Florida hugs,
Becca

107
Linh November 25, 2011 at 4:05 am

I never go shopping on Black Friday because of the waiting lines, parking, etc … I love online shopping and you get to view others’ ratings and comments.

I go out for Black Friday every year just to watch all the insanity happening! I hit Wal-Mart at opening last night and all I bought was a couple Blu-Ray’s for 10 dollars, but it was lots of fun!

109
Donna November 25, 2011 at 4:07 am

I do not plan on going out for any Black Friday sales nothing like a bunch of crazy shoppers to make a person wish they had not ventured out so I stay in and surf net for online Black Friday sales in the peace and warmth of my house.

110
Goat Girl November 25, 2011 at 4:09 am

I shopped online and got some great deals! No TV, etc., are worth those crowds! Thanks for the contest.

111
Christine November 25, 2011 at 4:11 am

I did shopping online yesterday but I’m headed out with a neighbor to try and score some deals for her. It’s a win-win for me… I can be part of the “crazy” but won’t come home with the let down of not finding what I want! :) Great give-a-way…what a gorgeous color!!

112
Leah November 25, 2011 at 4:23 am

Didn’t do the Black Friday shopping this year. I came home from hospital on Thanksgiving Day so shopping was a big NO for me this year. I did send my 20 year old son in my place though…Lord only knows what he’ll come home with…lol. My sisters and I usually get up at 3am and shop all of the “blitz” items then take a “breakfast break” around 8am, then finish up our “blitz” shopping by 11am. It had become a tradition for us when our children were all young. Now that most of us have grandchildren now, we don’t need most of the “blitz” items anymore so we are arriving later and later to begin our shopping. We are even thinking about starting a new tradition next Black Friday….just going into town for breakfast. lol….sounds like a great plan to me :)

113
maddie cote November 25, 2011 at 4:26 am

not this year. out of all the things we want this year, nothing on sale

114
Kathy Miller November 25, 2011 at 4:30 am

Would like to go shopping today, but I’m working. :-( But I did score a good deal at Michae’ls Yesterday when they had their 4-10pm sale. Saved 99$. Yeah me.

115
Ady November 25, 2011 at 4:39 am

Oooooh pick me! I just got home from Black Friday shopping but I could still really use a cookware set :)

116
kate b November 25, 2011 at 4:42 am

None for me no cash!

117
Carmen November 25, 2011 at 4:43 am

Going out to see “what’s left”…nothing major on the list and no money right now, so just looking and enjoying the craziness!

118
Helen Ernst November 25, 2011 at 4:45 am

I have never gone shopping on Black Friday. But this year is differant. We have been doing a kitchen redo for the past several weeks. So my mom and are going to Micheals Craft store in a few hours to see if this Black Friday is really such a big deal. Any sign of mass histerics and I will be coming home to keep organizing my kitchen. So it would be nice to finally have new pots and pans!!! Thank You for this GiveAway.

119
Jackie Smit November 25, 2011 at 4:46 am

I’ve never got up and waited in line in the craziness, and will probably just do some shopping online today!! Crowds just make me crazy! lol

120
Susan Yates November 25, 2011 at 4:46 am

I passed on Black Friday and stayed in with my family :) I will do some shopping online!

121
Lianne November 25, 2011 at 4:59 am

Please, oh please don’t make me shop on black Friday!! Frenzied shoppers are scary…no deal is worth my sanity. :-)
Online shopping is the sane road for me…

122
Bonnie November 25, 2011 at 5:10 am

No Black Friday shopping for me…the crowds are just too crazy! My husband and I will be taking our boys to the movies this afternoon for our Black Friday fun!

123
kris November 25, 2011 at 5:11 am

We just got back from shopping! It was nuts!! probably won’t go again—YUCK

124
Stacey Flores November 25, 2011 at 5:17 am

My 17 year old daughter talked me into black Friday shopping this year! The closest shopping center to us is 2 hours away. Let’s just say…….she’s be initiated!

125
Mindy November 25, 2011 at 5:23 am

Every year I say that I am going to go..but I always end up not going. Cannot stand the crowds and the long lines. Rather shop online and pay a little more. Plus, there is Cyber Monday, right? Thanks for this awesome giveaway!

126
Rebecca November 25, 2011 at 5:23 am

Let’s talk Black Friday shopping! Um nope, I avoid stores on black friday, and I have to work so it’s a win win for me :)

127
Karen November 25, 2011 at 5:29 am

I don’t like crowds, so no Black Friday shopping in the stores for me, but I am getting some good deals online!

128
Julie Gade November 25, 2011 at 5:30 am

Would love to take part in Black Friday but I have to work…..!
Best get going….best to all shoppers! Would love to win this great giveaway!!

129
Scott W. Moeller November 25, 2011 at 5:32 am

We avoided Black Friday this year! Too mush mayhem!

130
Maya November 25, 2011 at 5:36 am

I haven’t in the last couple of years, but this year I braved it. Went out at midnight and it was super packed. Have to say I was SO much more tired going at midnight than at the early morning times. Not any super finds….could have been if i was after a tv though. ;)

131
Morgan M. November 25, 2011 at 5:37 am

I’m a converted online shopper! You just can’t beat shopping in your underwear! HA!

132
GretchenP November 25, 2011 at 5:38 am

i’m shopping online working overnight and drinking diet coke to gear up for going to the stores after work! thanks for the giveaway! :)

133
Lisa Gardner November 25, 2011 at 5:44 am

Just got home from Black Friday shopping…it was absolutely CRAZY this year!! I do not like the 10 pm start though! This is taking away from Thanksgiving, people are having to leave in the middle of dinner with family and friends to get that great buy!! But, I can appreciate a great deal as well!!! Thanks for having a great giveaway!!

134
jenny lowe November 25, 2011 at 5:44 am

i do not black friday shop. The crowds make me have panic attacks. But i always feel a little guilty for not getting the deals!

135
Sarah Jarrell November 25, 2011 at 5:45 am

I would love to participate in black Friday sales but I work in a hospital setting and we always have to work, it’s mandatory. :( I did send my hubby out at midnight and he came home empty handed. I’m sure I could’ve done better. hehe

136
Susan Greiner November 25, 2011 at 5:45 am

Grandma braves the crowds…up at 2:30 AM out and in the mall by 3 AM…had a successful trip…pushed and shoved a bit….had to park a distance form mall entrance…but all in all a great adventure…saved several hundred dollars on early bird specials…it was worth it. Happy Holidays to all!

137
Averie @ Love Veggies and Yoga November 25, 2011 at 5:47 am

I am all about ONLINE deals. No crowds, midnite store trips, or being trampled to save 5 bucks. :) If I want to save, it’s gonna be online only shopping for me.

138
sara zabelinski November 25, 2011 at 5:48 am

Since I´m in Chile, thousands of miles away and in wonderful 85 degree almost summer weather, I´m just watching and hoping not everyone spent more than they could handle!
Enjoy!

139
Jennifer November 25, 2011 at 5:49 am

I am not shopping this year because we are at Disney World!!! We have been looking at new pans and these would be awesome!!!!

140
Jennifer Rautio November 25, 2011 at 5:53 am

I will be working Black Friday all day- no shopping for me!!

141
Misti November 25, 2011 at 5:54 am

I got most of my shopping done online yesterday. We live in the sticks & I didn’t feel like driving 1.5 hours just to get to the stores. I got the same deals online, didn’t have to drive to get there, find a parking space, wait to get in the store or wait in line & the UPS man will deliver them to my house. :D

Hope your Thanksgiving was a good one!

142
mandy faulkner November 25, 2011 at 5:59 am

online is more my speed, especially with a 1 year old at home

143
Amy C. November 25, 2011 at 6:05 am

Black Friday shopping……I don’t even get involved in that mess. BUT!!! I am going grocery shopping at 5am!!!! So does that count as Black Friday shopping???? LOL!

144
Natalie W. November 25, 2011 at 6:07 am

Sadly no Black Friday shopping for me!

145
Sarah November 25, 2011 at 6:07 am

No Black Friday shopping for me! However, I would love to finish off my set of pots and pans with these from Calphalon.

146
Linda Stadler November 25, 2011 at 6:07 am

After 30 years of hitting the stores at 5 a.m., I’ve done all my shopping online this year. Great sitting in my pjs with a nice cup of coffee, toasty warm, and I got everything I wanted.

147
Diana November 25, 2011 at 6:11 am

Great cookware set! One thing on my list (for ME) this year is a new set of cookware! I have been checking out a lot of different ones and reading reviews. I don’t go OUT to Black Friday shop the last few years. But I do shop online. Since I’m working today, I will be going out this weekend AFTER the madness is over! : )

148
Jodie M. November 25, 2011 at 6:15 am

I’m a sometimes Black Friday shopper…but this year I’m not. The kids didn’t get me their lists yet…so…I got to sleep in! I love Calphalon. I’ve had a set (regular…not non-stick) for 20 years and it holds up wonderfully! I would love to try the non-stick pans.

149
Charlee Griffith November 25, 2011 at 6:16 am

<– runs screaming from the thought of going near a shop on Black Friday. ;-) It's hard enough to get me into a mall when it's almost empty, let alone when it's full of bargain crazed shoppers on a mission.

150
Lisa K. November 25, 2011 at 6:17 am

No Black Friday shopping for me! I’d rather pay full price! :) I will do a lot of my Christmas shopping online…

151
Nicole G November 25, 2011 at 6:19 am

No early shopping for me on B. Friday this year. In prior years I’ve gone to Best Buy for a TV and Kohl’s for a Kitchenaid mixer.

152
Phoebe Dukas November 25, 2011 at 6:19 am

My husband is the Black Friday shopper…he loves coming home while we are just getting up with some fabulous electronic buy…this year it’s a game system for our son. I get to stay curled up — still in my Thanksgiving Day food coma — and he gets the thrill of the hunt. It’s a win-win!!!!

153
Nicole November 25, 2011 at 6:20 am

I’m not a fan of crowds, so I’d rather do my shopping online. It’s gotten so crazy out there.

154
Kelly B. November 25, 2011 at 6:22 am

I will shop a little bit on Black Friday.

155
Marie D. November 25, 2011 at 6:22 am

I used to go out Black Friday shopping, but it’s just too frenzied now. I’d rather be at home putting up my Christmas decorations and getting in the holiday spirit rather than be aggravated by crowds pushing and shoving.

156
Jessica Taylor November 25, 2011 at 6:23 am

I stay home on Black Friday to put up Christmas decorations and start on my Christmas cards. Last year I got some great stuff through Amazon’s lightning deals, so I’ll be checking on those throughout the day too.

Would love to win this. Thanks for the great giveaway!

157
Luciana Henriques November 25, 2011 at 6:24 am

I’ll be giving you so many thanks if I win this set… ;-)

158
Julie C. November 25, 2011 at 6:24 am

No Black Friday Shopping for me this year, I’ll window shop online a bit just to see what’s going on, but won’t be making any purchases this year.

159
Carla Griffin November 25, 2011 at 6:25 am

I don’t go shopping on Black Friday…I’m afraid I’ll get hurt!

160
Marti November 25, 2011 at 6:26 am

I’ll do my shopping online. The hustle and bustle has lost it’s charm for me! Thanks for this opportunity to win.

161
Jan November 25, 2011 at 6:30 am

We will probably go sometime this afternoon to look at DVD’s and BlueRay’s on sale. Nothing else I saw really interested me. We have only gotten up early one year and we went, grabbed the item we wanted, went back home and back to bed.

162
Angela H. November 25, 2011 at 6:31 am

I don’t do Black Friday. I went a couple of times years ago and it was just too much for me. Beautiful pans, it would be so nice to win a contest finally.

163
Karen Pelkey November 25, 2011 at 6:31 am

We don’t have the sales here in Canada as you do in the US but WoW. I’d love to go shopping if it wasn’t for the border line ups. Too bad I have to work today. Would love to win the cook ware as mine is old old old. Happy Thanksgiving to my American family and friends.

164
Laura November 25, 2011 at 6:32 am

Im not going shopping today. I’ve done most of my shopping online this year.

165
Andrea F November 25, 2011 at 6:32 am

I didn’t go out. I plan on going to the grocery store and hoping that it is empty.

166
Elizabeth November 25, 2011 at 6:33 am

We definitely need new pans, using my terrible Walmart non-stick from college :(

I did Black Friday for the first time today. Went to A.C. Moore for the Cricut Expression (making Save the Dates for our wedding!) :)

167
Jane Toms November 25, 2011 at 6:33 am

No shopping for me. I plan to decorate today!

168
LindsayL. November 25, 2011 at 6:35 am

I went out last night with my husband and mother-in-law. Went to walmart first then on to Target and Kohl’s. Got in bed by 3 only to be at work at 6. Definitely needing coffee this morning!

169
Krysten Kolivras Simmons November 25, 2011 at 6:36 am

I’m not a shopper, so Black Friday shopping is definitely out for me. I do however, have a weakness when it comes to online shopping – clicking that mouse is sooo easy! Hoping to snag some good cyber-deals today! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

170
Wendy F. November 25, 2011 at 6:39 am

I’m in Vegas on vacation & went to Walmart at 10 but there way too many crazy people there & we could hardly move so we left. I’ll be shopping online this year.

171
Maria M. November 25, 2011 at 6:39 am

I use to go many years ago in the morning when my children were younger. Now I cannot deal with the pushing and the nastiness of the people and for what, a tease? The stores do not even carry enough of the item they are advertising, their just trying to lure the customer in with the advertisement. But it does bring back memories of those good old days, the rushing, the pushing, the smell of the coffee and of course having purchased that one sale item you got up so early for. I was almost tempted this year, but I went on the website instead and purchased what my grandson wanted instead.
Thank you for letting me express my black friday memories.

172
Tracy Hunt November 25, 2011 at 6:39 am

No shopping for me, I decorating my tree!

173
Katy White November 25, 2011 at 6:41 am

Good morning! We aren’t out shopping Black Friday deals in big national chain stores this year. In fact, my personal goal is to avoid the mall and Walmart (even for groceries) until Jan.1! Too hot and crowded and frustrating. Today my mom and I plan on shopping our local boutiques! For gifts I can’t find locally, I’ll buy online next week. We are going to have a happy and calm Friday, that began with a full night’s sleep :) I’m hoping for new cookware this year, myself :)

174
Maxine November 25, 2011 at 6:41 am

I’ve tried Black Friday through the years but this year I’m avoiding it & focusing on Cyber Monday. Good luck to those who brave the crowds!

175
Lane November 25, 2011 at 6:42 am

I wish I could go! I’m about to have to go into work:(

176
Bev November 25, 2011 at 6:42 am

I only shop Black Friday from the comfort of my couch ;) and ooh is that cookware gorgeous!

177
Kori November 25, 2011 at 6:43 am

This year I went to deer camp with the family. I’m missing my black Friday shopping :( I’m going shopping tomorrow though. Hopefully there’s still something good left.

178
Mary November 25, 2011 at 6:45 am

I detest shopping so I won’t be going out, but like so many others will be shopping online on Black Friday!

179
Sue Imming November 25, 2011 at 6:46 am

Will hit the stores later this morning. Hoping what’s on my list wasn’t what the “rush” wanted.

180
Maureen November 25, 2011 at 6:46 am

The thrill of the hunt is negated by the crowds, this year I am doing as much on line as possible, maybe venturing out later this weekend when things die down.

181
Shelli M November 25, 2011 at 6:46 am

After 25 years in retail management, I love staying home on Black Friday and sleeping!!!! I do the bulk of my shopping online, while laying in bed !! Happy Shopping!!!!

182
Christina November 25, 2011 at 6:48 am

I am avoiding leaving my apartment today. This is a day of leftovers, cleaning, and football!

183
Sherri November 25, 2011 at 6:48 am

Well, I used to love shopping on Black Friday for the deals, but these days I usually already have my Christmas shopping completed by Black Friday. I still like to get out with the crowds just because the hustle and bustle of this day helps put me in the holiday spirit….and I never know…I just may find a bargain I can’t live without! :~D … I sure could use a new set of matching cookware!

184
Carole Beth Rhodes November 25, 2011 at 6:49 am

No, I do not usually go out on Black Friday. I have been doing most of my Christmas shopping online. Anyway, I have to work today, so staying out all night is not a good idea.

185
MoriahFarmer November 25, 2011 at 6:49 am

I got up at 4:50, but to go to the Y, not to shop. My black Friday tradition is to buy my Christmas tree from my husbands former boy scout Troup and decorate my house for Chrustmas.

186
Jennifer November 25, 2011 at 6:50 am

Nothing worth fighting the crowds for…

187
Max November 25, 2011 at 6:50 am

New TV here i come!

188
Vicki November 25, 2011 at 6:52 am

prefer online shopping with free shipping vs. the craziness of the mall ….

189
Denise in South GA November 25, 2011 at 6:53 am

I have never went shopping on Black Friday, waiting in those lines is not for me:) Awesome giveaway!

190
Lorraine Robinson November 25, 2011 at 6:53 am

My daughter had some unexpected surgery on Monday so we were not able to celebrate Thanksgiving dinner with family or friends. Black Friday shopping is definitely out! But we always have Cyber Monday :)
Winning this set would mean a great deal to us. Thanks for the opportunity

191
holly November 25, 2011 at 6:53 am

i stay as far away as i possibly can… online shopping only! thanks for the giveaway – love your blog!

192
Stephanie M. November 25, 2011 at 6:53 am

I avoid it! I don’t have enough patience to go out there and deal with crazy people!

193
Karen G. November 25, 2011 at 6:55 am

I have been out Black Friday shopping exactly twice in my adult life (i am now in my 40’s) and HATE it!!!! I hate the crowds. I love people except in large masses like this!!!!! I honestly don’t feel there is a deal out there that will get me out – and especially NOT before 8 in the morning!!!!! I will take the extra sleep and pay a little more for something I want!!!!!!!

194
Leslie P. November 25, 2011 at 6:55 am

I am at work on Black Friday, and would love to win!

195
Marisah Daniels November 25, 2011 at 6:56 am

I would love to go shopping but seeing as we are at my husband’s family farm in Fork, SC and near no stores, it is impossible! =) However, I am finding some good deals on the Internet! Happy Thanksgiving!

196
Hollie November 25, 2011 at 6:56 am

I’m not brave enough for black Friday. I stay warm and snuggly at home, using facebook to keep up with my black Friday shopping friends.

197
Sandy November 25, 2011 at 6:56 am

I’m going to stay home and decorate for Christmas.

198
Tracey C November 25, 2011 at 6:57 am

I shop online instead of going out for Black Friday. The lines and people are too crazy for me. I caught a few great deals from JCPenney and American Eagle Outfitters. Free Shipping is a plus too for online Black Friday Shopping.

199
Nicole November 25, 2011 at 6:59 am

I think I will bypass Black Friday shopping in favor of shopping online in my pj’s. Fun!

200
jenny McClamroch November 25, 2011 at 6:59 am

No black friday here but I’m hoping for some good cyber Monday deals!

201
Becky November 25, 2011 at 7:00 am

I love Black Friday shopping! It’s a yearly tradition with my family who visits from Georgia. We start at 9:00 a.m. and shop til we drop! Our final treat is a stop at Starbucks on the way home!! I would love to win this set of cookware! My daughter is getting married in July and this is exactly what she has registered for! I would love to surprise her with the whole set for Christmas!! Thanks for the great giveaway!! :)

202
Nicole B. November 25, 2011 at 7:03 am

For the past two years I’ve gone shopping on black Friday, but this year I just plan to relax and do a little baking. Nothing this year has really caught my eye anyway, so I am just going to keep it low key and stay away from the huge crowds.

203
Sara November 25, 2011 at 7:04 am

Ugh… I went to Target last year. Never again.

204
Stacie November 25, 2011 at 7:07 am

Only online shopping for me this year.

205
Teresa Millar November 25, 2011 at 7:09 am

Since I live in Canada, we haven’t really had a “Black Friday” here. Although, this year where I live it seems a lot of retailers have jumped on the bandwagon and are calling their sales “Black Friday.” Not sure if it compares – or the significance of a Black Friday. Now I am curious – must Google. Hope our American friends had a lovely Thanksgiving…

206
Leigh November 25, 2011 at 7:11 am

I’ve got to get my license renewed, so my Black Friday will be at the DMV!!

207
Deb November 25, 2011 at 7:11 am

If only I could get lucky!
I am not a Black Friday shopper. I am a teacher who took a pay cut this year, so keeping a limited budget for Christmas. Amazon.com will be my choice for finding deals on Black Friday.
Thanks for the give-a-way.

208
martina Fegan November 25, 2011 at 7:12 am

I am snug and warm inside the house shopping online! I used to love Black Friday until it spiraled into madness!

209
Kim November 25, 2011 at 7:12 am

I’ve been out Black Friday shopping in the past and have always missed the highly advertised (and crazy good) deals because of the limited supply of the products. This year, I’m chilling in the house. I can’t get up early and fight the crowds like I used to.

210
Beth Ashley November 25, 2011 at 7:12 am

I think I’ll have to wait for cyber Monday this year. I am going to find couple things for the boys :). Happy Holidays!

211
Kate November 25, 2011 at 7:13 am

While some of the deals looked great, I just couldn’t face the crowds!

212
jennifer Andersen November 25, 2011 at 7:13 am

I am visiting family and taking the kids to the see the Muppet Movie.

213
Julia Ortega November 25, 2011 at 7:14 am

I avoid Black Friday shopping.. to much craziness. I’ll do my shopping a little at a time this year..

214
Courtney K November 25, 2011 at 7:14 am

Black Friday is avoided by me! Who wants to wait in line when you can buy online! Yay for the Internet!

215
Jenny H. November 25, 2011 at 7:14 am

I guess I have no patience to stand in long lines and to wait. So, with four kids, I tend to do my shopping online:):)

216
Laura S. November 25, 2011 at 7:14 am

Black Friday is the day I stay home and decorate for the holidays. It’s a happy family day. No crazy crowds for me!

217
Karen H. November 25, 2011 at 7:14 am

Black Friday isn’t for me…I don’t do the shopping that day…too crazy!

218
Meg @ Moments Like This November 25, 2011 at 7:15 am

I don’t go to the stores on Black Friday because I can’t stand the crazy crowds. But this year I went to Old Navy on Thanksgiving for a few deals and that was great!

219
Sarah M November 25, 2011 at 7:15 am

I don’t like shopping on a random day, forget about Black Friday!

220
Val Lewis November 25, 2011 at 7:15 am

I love Black Friday shopping, however, this year we have decided as our gift to each other to take a family trip to see our son who moved to San Diego last year. We will go in January when the airfare is better. This is two Christmases without being with our eldest son. Black Friday will wait until next year.

221
Tiffanee Noack November 25, 2011 at 7:16 am

I’m 42 yrs old and I have never done the “Black Friday” thing…probably because I’m not a real big shopper and besides that if it ain’t there when I decide to go get it I guess it wasn’t ment to be!! Just saying! But thanks for the giveaway chance!

222
Beth R. November 25, 2011 at 7:16 am

I did Black Friday the best way I know how…in my bed, with the laptop, in my flannel pajamas. Thank you so much Amazon!

223
Heather November 25, 2011 at 7:17 am

I am staying home. No way that I want to wrestle with some of those shoppers.

224
Hollie November 25, 2011 at 7:18 am

I didn’t get out shopping this black Friday!

225
Laura B November 25, 2011 at 7:18 am

No Black Friday shopping for me!

226
veggiemom November 25, 2011 at 7:18 am

No black friday shopping here. There’s nothing in the world I want or need enough to make that worthwhile.

This chick avoids Black Friday! We usually go out of town the day after Thanksgiving and I do some small gift shopping at some local boutiques but I don’t find that it is worth my time, or life, (lol) to go to big chains. Hope I win!!

228
Lisa B November 25, 2011 at 7:19 am

This is the first time in several years that we haven’t been able to hit the stores on Black Friday. It feels so awesome to have all your shopping done before the sun is up.

229
Julie White November 25, 2011 at 7:21 am

I am an “online” Black Friday shopper! :) Love a deal, but not a line!

230
Melissa November 25, 2011 at 7:21 am

I quit going out last year and just did it all online and it was awesome! I still got super excited and was jumping around and laughing all night because I got amazing deals in my pajamas!!

231
Tammy N November 25, 2011 at 7:21 am

Black Friday Shopping…not me! I stay in my nice warm bed….now my two grown kids on the other hand are Black Friday Crazy…like the Target Woman…Ka-razy!!

232
Analisa W. November 25, 2011 at 7:22 am

I stay far far away on black Friday ;)

233
K. Cassidy November 25, 2011 at 7:22 am

I rarely venture out on black Friday but love to take advantage of the online sales that a lot of the retailers are now offering. Thanks for the chance!

234
Natalie November 25, 2011 at 7:22 am

I usually do a little Black Friday shopping. However, this year I’m staying in and doing it online (in my PJ’s with a hot cup of coffee). =)

235
Debi November 25, 2011 at 7:22 am

Oh My Goodness…..Black Friday is NOT for me anymore…. I use to do that every year but just can’t take all the crowds and waiting anymore. I DO, however, LOVE hearing all the stories about it. And man oh man do I NEED those pans. I’ve been looking for a good set of pans for a couple of weeks now and just can’t decide what I like….this would be awesome to win. Thanks for the chance…. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving…..

236
Lynne November 25, 2011 at 7:24 am

I usually go out on Black Friday, but have not ventured out yet – getting ready to go

237
Rhonda November 25, 2011 at 7:24 am

NO way would I go out shopping! I’m staying at home in my comfortable pajamas and browsing the online deals.

238
Penny November 25, 2011 at 7:25 am

We do all our shopping online – I did head out this morning around 7:45AM to run a few errands and it wasn’t bad at all.

239
Nita November 25, 2011 at 7:25 am

No black Friday for me. Did do a little on line.

240
Christine Teal November 25, 2011 at 7:26 am

Been doing all my shopping online. Would love to win this!!

241
Mary November 25, 2011 at 7:26 am

If I can find a deal for something that I have planned to buy, I love it! But I’m not willing to join the throngs of shoppers and put up with all of the headaches of parking and waiting in long lines for check out. Plus, I am tempted to overspend when I am out in the stores and all of the signs are screaming ‘deal’. I’ve become an online shopper when I can.

242
marj November 25, 2011 at 7:26 am

I wish I could say that I was going shopping today but I am moving and unpacking instead. Happy Black Friday to everyone else.

243
Susan Sparrowhawk November 25, 2011 at 7:26 am

My husband and I are celebrating our 40th birthdays in New Orleans this Thanksgiving, and we are headed to do some Katrina cleanup today, so no Black Friday shopping for us! We wouldn’t have it any other way. I do love so Calphalon though and cooking with their pans is one of the more joyful things in life. Happy Thanksgiving y’all!

244
Amanda November 25, 2011 at 7:28 am

Not a chance! I wait until cyber Monday instead :)

245
Sarah Price November 25, 2011 at 7:28 am

I slept in … It was amazing! However, my husband and dad woke up at 4:45am to go Black Friday shopping. Something didn’t seem right about that.

246
Jennifer November 25, 2011 at 7:28 am

Crowds aren’t my thing so I might do a little online shopping today during the kids nap times :)

247
Lori November 25, 2011 at 7:29 am

This year I went Black Friday shopping for the first time. I went to a super Walmart across town. I was shocked at the wall of people in the store. I did get some good deals, 8 gifts for less than $45 bucks. Most of the big ticket items I wanted I didn’t get. I was home by 1:00 am. Then my hubby decided to go to another regular Walmart 5 minutes From our house to see if they had any of the items I couldn’t get. The store was nearly empty when he got there and they had almost everything I wanted. He finished up our shopping. Our daughters Christmas presents are all bought now. The only thing that would top my first black friday experience is winning these pans!

248
Janel November 25, 2011 at 7:29 am

I so love your blog!
If I win, I will give this to my daughter who is so deserving of some quality cookware!
Have a great “Holiday Season” !

249
Michele V November 25, 2011 at 7:30 am

…online black friday shopper! Stayed up way to late last night shopping!
Thanks for the giveaway – set looks amazing!

250
Liz (Little Bitty Bakes) November 25, 2011 at 7:30 am

Heading out for Black Friday shopping as we speak! :) Love to observe and partake in the consumer craziness.

251
Sarah Parker November 25, 2011 at 7:31 am

I’m not a Black Friday shopper. Sometimes we go out later in the afternoon or evening on Black Friday when the sales aren’t as spectacular but they are way less crowded!

252
Cheryl Lang November 25, 2011 at 7:31 am

This year I decided to NOT go black friday shopping…mainly because I didnt find anything that made we want to go out insanely early and stand in line for! Cyber Monday seems more up my alley :)

253
Dana November 25, 2011 at 7:31 am

I ventured out last night at 10pm to hit a couple places, but that is the extent of my Black Friday shopping! Great giveaway!

254
Rhonda November 25, 2011 at 7:32 am

Love this cookware! It would be a wonderful way to cook a pot of turkey soup!

255
Susan November 25, 2011 at 7:32 am

I’m afraid I avoid Black Friday like the plague. Not a shopper.

256
Martina November 25, 2011 at 7:33 am

I plan to stay inside and craft with my grandkids!

257
Becky November 25, 2011 at 7:34 am

I’m not even internet shopping today! lol I plan to get some work done around the house and avoid the crowds.

258
Barry November 25, 2011 at 7:35 am

Just got back from Walmart and came up empty-handed. Should’ve gotten an earlier start, but I value my sleep too much!

259
Debbie in S. Florida November 25, 2011 at 7:36 am

Well, let’s see, it’s 8:30 a.m., and I’m NOT out shopping, nor have I been! Nope, didn’t even contemplate it. Looked at the ads, but that’s as far as I got. I used to be able to fathom it when it was 4 a.m., 5 a.m., but MIDNIGHT? I don’t think so! Yes, I slept right through all of the excitement, and I’m not one bit sad about that! There will be plenty of deals over the next month that happen during daylight hours, I’m sure. Love these pans, and though my husband is the more frequent cook in our family (lucky me), I wouldn’t mind winning them for him! Enjoy your blog, as always.

260
Mindy M November 25, 2011 at 7:36 am

Black Friday is a tradition I our family. We do it for the fun!!

261
Dale @ Tradeurbeads November 25, 2011 at 7:36 am

Just finished all my Black Friday shopping on line. So easy.

262
nancy November 25, 2011 at 7:36 am

Amanda
I love Black Friday shopping and I have to work today! Boo Hoo! I did however send the hubby out for a few specials. Happy Holidays everyone!

263
Diane Alberts November 25, 2011 at 7:37 am

Black Friday has me in bed this year as we are at family in Chicago for the Thanksgiving holiday. I don’t know this area and no one wanted to go shopping with me. What a nice giveaway you are offereing. Thanks for the chance to win ;).

264
J. Mies November 25, 2011 at 7:38 am

Went to Walmart last night for toys. Slept a few hours and hit a few other stores that opened this am. Not quite as fruitful, but liked getting out!

265
Jen B November 25, 2011 at 7:38 am

This is the first year I can remember not shopping on black Friday… The funds are low. Very blessed to have had a great thanksgiving day, filled with family friends and lots of LOVE.

266
Candi Babcock November 25, 2011 at 7:38 am

I avoid Black Friday Shopping like the plague! I am going to visit with family and eat wonderful leftovers!!! Perhaps a game of chicken foot or two.

267
Shanna f November 25, 2011 at 7:39 am

No black Friday shopping for me. No way Jose.

268
Katie Brockmeyer November 25, 2011 at 7:39 am

My husband does all the cooking so he would love to have this set! :)

Thanks!

269
Bernadette J. November 25, 2011 at 7:40 am

I don’ t dare brave the stores on Black Friday.

270
Krystal November 25, 2011 at 7:41 am

Black Friday is crazy! No thanks, I’ll stay home & wait for Cyber Monday to roll around. Besides, most places are starting their online deals early. Sitting at home with a warm cup of coffee is better than standing out in the cold in line anyway.

271
Mike Brandon November 25, 2011 at 7:41 am

Going to look for a big screen TV. Your blog gets better and better. Thanks. Merry Christmas. Don’t forget the reason for the Season.

272
Amanda Northcutt November 25, 2011 at 7:43 am

What a great giveaway! I’m going to spend this black Friday taking down my fall decorations and decking my halls for Christmas!!

273
Sue November 25, 2011 at 7:43 am

I just got in from shopping! I’m exhausted and happy about my great deals! Now, if I could just win this cookware! :)

274
june November 25, 2011 at 7:44 am

I go black friday for the tradition of it! I go with a friend and her daughter and it is for sheer entertainment value. If we find what we want great, if not, we have spent a day together and enjoyed the company and met a lot of neat folks. We have been out since midnight, home for a drop off then back out.. buying a serger!!! I would love the pans!

275
pris November 25, 2011 at 7:44 am

holiday shopping is completed! get to sit back, get caught up with reading and enjoy the day.

276
Julie B November 25, 2011 at 7:44 am

No Black Friday shopping in our house but we may put up the tree. Love the cookware.

277
Kim November 25, 2011 at 7:44 am

I did Black Friday once, years ago, never again.

278
Janice November 25, 2011 at 7:45 am

I help a friend of mine with her Christmas craft/antique sale for 2 days.

279
Karen Wolfe November 25, 2011 at 7:45 am

I am only visiting JC Penney for Black Friday and luckily the sale is all day long! LOL I need my beauty sleep…I never do the early bird stuff! – Karen

280
Carol November 25, 2011 at 7:45 am

I will be doing a little on-line shopping today and I may go out later this evening when the rush is over.

281
Tracy R. November 25, 2011 at 7:46 am

I am staying snuggled in my bed, shopping online. I will go out for breakfast with my hubby this morning though :)

Tracy

282
Kerry November 25, 2011 at 7:46 am

I am terrified of black Friday!! Some of those shoppers are crazy! I do love the online Black Friday deals!

283
rachel November 25, 2011 at 7:46 am

black friday….i’m working today! isn’t that the pits????

284
melanie November 25, 2011 at 7:47 am

This is the first year I’ve slept in! It felt great to wake up refreshed and not freezing outside of a door! None of my family had anything on a black Friday list.

285
Erin B. November 25, 2011 at 7:47 am

I plan on staying in my jammies all day today, but that won’t stop me from shopping online!!

286
ms Ellie November 25, 2011 at 7:47 am

I have NO DESIRE to go shopping today….unless it ‘s online!
Would love to win this cookware. I need it badly!
Thanks for the opportunity

287
Sally November 25, 2011 at 7:48 am

Want to but the wallet won’t let me!

288
Monica Newman November 25, 2011 at 7:48 am

After working 2 years in a retail store, over the holidays I am ANTI black friday shopping. I was pretty much against it before that as well, but that was the nail in the “coffin” so to speak.

289
Jen B. November 25, 2011 at 7:49 am

Unfortunately, I have to work today. However, I will cyber shop today. :) . My sister and I used to do our black Friday run together. I wish she lived closer so we could do it every year! Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful set!

290
jada November 25, 2011 at 7:50 am

Veery Nice!

291
Vida Townsend November 25, 2011 at 7:50 am

I do not go out for Black Friday shopping! I live in a small town and prefer to shop with local merchants. I do occasionally shop online in the comfort of my home in my pjs with my coffee!

292
Ali November 25, 2011 at 7:50 am

What a great xmas present that would be for the Mr.!! We dont usually go out on BF, but if its not too bad out I really want a 6 foot tree this year!!
-Ali

293
Michelle Barrow November 25, 2011 at 7:50 am

I’m like a lot of the others here–online shopping is the only way to go! Or not go. ;) This cookware set would definitely be a reason to fight the crowds though!

294
Jeanne ODonnell November 25, 2011 at 7:51 am

My daughter and her man go every year, while I watch the kids, of course! She picked up a lap top for me. Yea!

295
carolina November 25, 2011 at 7:52 am

i think i’m staying in for the first time ever this year. i may have overdone the shopping a little in the past few weeks… i don’t have too many funds to work with today! hehehe.

this cookware set is beautiful! words cannot express how amazing it would be to replace my one skillet and one pot with this.

296
Chris K November 25, 2011 at 7:53 am

1 year old at home…Parenting job never takes time off. Someday! Someday! I will get up in middle of night and try it. Kind of sounds like a fun thing to do…once ;-)

297
Allie Perry November 25, 2011 at 7:53 am

My sister-in-law and I have always wanted to brave the early morning Black Friday crowd, but so far the closest I’ve been is by going later in the day to see what is left. :) Oh and I’m a big fan of cyber Monday as well!

298
Stacey November 25, 2011 at 7:54 am

Absolutely NO shopping on Black Friday! I am still in a turkey coma! Although I am temped to head out to experience it…. maybe not.
Thanks for the opportunity to win! I so need new cookware!!!!
Stacey

299
gina November 25, 2011 at 7:55 am

I decided to stay home and sleep in on this Black Friday. I will probably regret not going out shopping, so I will have to make up for it on Cyber Monday!

300
Desi November 25, 2011 at 7:55 am

I’m going to try to support the small business around us, so no black friday shopping for us. Planning on buying more gift cards and homemade things for my family.

301
Beth November 25, 2011 at 7:55 am

I went out right before work (got downtown at 6:30, done by 7!) and I might swing through the stores again later, but no midnight shopping for me, thank you very much!

302
Lauren November 25, 2011 at 7:55 am

Some years I go out and face the crowds. Some years I don’t. This year we are visiting relatives in central New Mexico. We are going to a craft fair in Albuquerque. I am looking for unique gifts for my family and friends – scarves, jewelry, candles, quilts and fabric arts.

303
Zan November 25, 2011 at 7:58 am

I love this set…and looking forward to receiving it. Happy Thankgivings to all!

304
Laura mc November 25, 2011 at 7:58 am

I use to do the Black Friday shopping but I think I’m gonna stay home and put up my tree this year.

305
cindy butler November 25, 2011 at 7:58 am

black friday shopping is a family tradition for me, my mom and my sons! it is usually just us and we make it a full day of fun. last year we asked our daughter in law if she wanted to join us. she said, “no way! i don’t have the stamina for that.”

306
Kristi Kelly November 25, 2011 at 8:00 am

I have given up on Black Friday shopping because anytime I have ever tried to snag a deal, I have showed up and the item I have wanted has been gone. I think the quantities are limited and the crowds are overwhelming. Time is more of a commodity at my house, so we spend the Friday after Thanksgiving spending time as a family, which is way more precious in my book! But I sure would like to score this deal as a Black Friday treat! :)

307
Stephanie Long November 25, 2011 at 8:00 am

I didn’t go out to the stores to shop but I did stay up late to snag some great digital scrapbooking deals! Thanks you for the chance to win!

308
Lee Anne November 25, 2011 at 8:01 am

Nope, no early morning shopping for me! I would never miss out on a day to sleep in on my day off. Even for a good deal!

309
Kathy November 25, 2011 at 8:01 am

I usually don’t do black friday but we are heading out later after the crowds have gone down.

310
Jenny E. November 25, 2011 at 8:02 am

Avoid it like the plague, unless we are looking for a more expensive item that year, that makes waiting in line in the freezing cold for hours worth it.

311
Susan Dingess November 25, 2011 at 8:04 am

I did my Black Friday shopping yesterday online! Today will only be a trip to the grocery store! Oops, gotta go to Staples to make copies.

Thanks for the opportunity to win!

312
Patty Draper November 25, 2011 at 8:04 am

Just buying goodies to eat at my stay-at-home tailgate for the MS State-Ole Miss Egg Bowl tomorrow!

313
Judy Stokely November 25, 2011 at 8:04 am

First time in a long time I am not out Black Friday shopping.
I hope to win this awesome giveaway!

314
Janet S November 25, 2011 at 8:05 am

Black Friday is for staying home & shopping online!

315
Gina Atkins November 25, 2011 at 8:05 am

I never go shopping on Black Friday. The crowds are just too much. I’d rather get anything that I might need after all of the deals have sort of calmed down some.

316
Cherie Mistretta November 25, 2011 at 8:05 am

I have been looking for a good set of cookware this would be so perfect. Thanks for the chance to win!!!!!!!!

317
Katie November 25, 2011 at 8:06 am

I didn’t go out this year (first time in almost a decade!), but my awesome Mother In Law picked up the DVDs I was going to get at Target for me! She’s the BEST!

318
Ann November 25, 2011 at 8:06 am

No Black Friday shopping for me! We prefer to stay far away from the craziness. So, we’ll be hitting the hiking trails today instead!

319
andrea thompson November 25, 2011 at 8:07 am

I usually go out in Black Friday, but this year there was nothing that I needed. So I went to sleep instead. Happy shopping everyone.

320
Mary Lynn E. November 25, 2011 at 8:08 am

I didnt go early to black friday this year. I might go later today and will be doing a lot of online shopping!

321
Amanda @ Click. The Good News November 25, 2011 at 8:08 am

I’m staying home to shop :)

322
Misty November 25, 2011 at 8:08 am

I usually do the whole shopping thing in Black Friday but this year just was not into it. I tried to go when I got off work but I rolled up to target and saw that the line was 4 blocks long and growing so I decided to go home and shop online.

323
Maggie November 25, 2011 at 8:08 am

Thanks for the opportunity to win! I will not be shopping on black Friday. I’m not into crowds! I’ll be doing most of my shopping online this year.

324
Christine November 25, 2011 at 8:09 am

I love to look at all the ads and dream!

325
Janine O November 25, 2011 at 8:09 am

I have never gone out shopping on Black Friday — sounds like too much work for me! I just sit around eating Thanksgiving leftovers and decorating the house for Christmas!

326
Laura November 25, 2011 at 8:10 am

I’m graduating in May, so I’m shopping for things for my (future) new apartment!

327
Julia November 25, 2011 at 8:12 am

Avoiding Black Friday :) – if I had something big and specific that I wanted, I would head out, but I don’t, so I’m staying bundled up inside!

328
Barbara Ford November 25, 2011 at 8:12 am

I look for good deals, but only online. Braving the real crowds in the real stores is not worth the hassle.

329
Kyla November 25, 2011 at 8:13 am

Even though the deals on Black Friday are unbeatable, I avoid shopping at all costs!!!

330
jordan November 25, 2011 at 8:13 am

I avoid Black Friday shopping like the plague! Not a fan of shopping in crowds :)

331
Julia Sutterfield November 25, 2011 at 8:15 am

I stayed in bed and did my shopping online on my phone :)

332
Tracy November 25, 2011 at 8:16 am

Online black Friday shopping for me! Love Calphalon cookware!

333
Sandra M. November 25, 2011 at 8:17 am

I stay in on Black Friday. I use to own a gift shop and always worked on Black Friday. Now I rest and clean house because our Thanksgiving is on Sunday.

334
Paige Easterling November 25, 2011 at 8:18 am

Although I’m not a big Black Friday fan, I’d give anything to do that than what I’m doing right now. My husband who has pancreatic cancer will be going into hospice today. Trusting God.

335
amy November 25, 2011 at 8:18 am

I need a new computer… But I will wait until the madhouse dies down before shopping. I dont need it badly enough to wait in line all night.

336
Jules November 25, 2011 at 8:18 am

I had to work today so I didn’t do the all night shopping like I have in past years. However I did wake up wide awake this morning at 4:30 and couldn’t go back to sleep so I got up and went to Kohl’s before going to work.

337
Sara November 25, 2011 at 8:19 am

I hate shopping in crowds, so I shop in my pajamas on the internet! I would love to win this cookware set! We are still using a set of T-fal cookware that we got for our wedding 17 years ago! Needless to say, they are in need of replacing! happy Black Friday!

338
JAime November 25, 2011 at 8:20 am

We are heading out now for Black Friday shopping! Thanks for the fab giveaway!!

339
Pattyz November 25, 2011 at 8:20 am

Shopping at Toys R Us craziness what we won’t do for our kids!!! Would love a wonderful Christmas present for me! The set is BEAUTIFUL!! I love trying to cook new things and to have such amazing cook wear would be awesome!!!
Happy Black Friday!!!

340
adrienne November 25, 2011 at 8:20 am

That would be cool to get something on black Friday without having to bother with all the parking and lines lol.

341
Angie November 25, 2011 at 8:20 am

I don’t normally do the Black Friday thing because crowds aren’t exactly my specialty. I am contemplating heading out by myself this evening though…figuring that maybe by 6 or 7pm this evening everyone else will be “cooked” and I might be able to score a few deals without losing my mind ;)

342
kellie November 25, 2011 at 8:20 am

I am workin today, so no shopping for me. Sniff….

343
Melissa November 25, 2011 at 8:20 am

I have to work today :(

344
Kara November 25, 2011 at 8:20 am

I can’t seem to wrap my brain around black friday! I covet my sleep, and I’m not a huge fan of shopping. If I can “click, click, ship” I’m a happy girl!

345
Tami R November 25, 2011 at 8:21 am

Hi, Amanda! What an awesome giveaway! I don’t go to the stores on Black Friday. I would rather wait until Cyber Monday! Same great deals… different day! And no crowds!

346
Tiffany November 25, 2011 at 8:22 am

Every year I think I’m going to go out. Every year I sit at home instead. The deals aren’t THAT good. And they have the same deals online.

347
Monica November 25, 2011 at 8:22 am

we wholeheartedly avoid black friday. we’re going to see the muppet movie at 10:00 am :)

348
Amanda November 25, 2011 at 8:22 am

Oooo, I love Calphalon!

349
Ash November 25, 2011 at 8:23 am

Avoooooid!! No shopping today for me. I have a cold and 2 newborns at home…we don’t need anything and really shouldn’t spend $$ on things we don’t need.

350
Mason November 25, 2011 at 8:24 am

No, no shoping for me today – maybe later. . . today and this week-end I want to be with my little ones – and get ready for our annual neighborhood cookie party – this year held at my house on Sunday!!

351
Betsy November 25, 2011 at 8:24 am

I NEVER do Black Friday shopping – but this morning was an exception – up at 5 to go to Abercrombie Kids 50% off sale that ended at 9. Happy 10 year old daughter!

352
Holly hawkins November 25, 2011 at 8:24 am

Black Friday is not for me!

353
Kristen Buley November 25, 2011 at 8:25 am

Not going shopping….this year most of my gifts are hand made. Still watching online sales though, justincase.

354
Jenell November 25, 2011 at 8:27 am

I usually stay home on Black friday and put up my Christmas decorations. But, I have always wanted to plan a Black friday trip leaving after Thanksgiving dinner , and getting a hotel and having a BIG get all Christmas shopping done in one weekend trip! Don’t know if that will ever happen since I do most of my shopping online!

Vicki Mc November 25, 2011 at 8:28 am

I was at walmart at 9:00 last night to stand in line for an item my brother wanted to get for his wife. He’s in the military and they haven’t seen each other in months. He really wants to surprise her with this gift – and she’d know if he paid for it out of their joint account. So, I played the good big sister last night :)

356
Michele Yacovello November 25, 2011 at 8:28 am

these are already on my list…would be wonderful to win myself a gift

357
Jade November 25, 2011 at 8:28 am

Went out last night around 8 – scored what I wanted around 10 – home by 10:45 and after checking some online deals, asleep by 12:30 :)

358
Tina B November 25, 2011 at 8:29 am

I did black friday shopping online….no lines to wait in then…

359
stephanie November 25, 2011 at 8:30 am

No black friday shopping for me, just decorating the house while my husband is at work. Maybe do some online shopping tomorrow!

360
Jenny November 25, 2011 at 8:30 am

I’m staying home and seeing if I can find any deals online.

361
Leanne November 25, 2011 at 8:30 am

We don’t do black friday shopping – we’re sitting on the couch all day today! We’ll be making some crafts for holiday gifts this year while we enjoy our jammies and movies today. :-)

362
Janet W. November 25, 2011 at 8:30 am

I am wiped out from cooking and cleaning yesterday, but we might attempt to go shopping today…it will likely result in sightseeing only in the parking lots though!!

363
HeatherB November 25, 2011 at 8:31 am

Thanks for the chance to win! I did a little online shopping at Lego last night. Other than that, business as usual here. :)

364
Lindsey November 25, 2011 at 8:32 am

Ooooohh!! I would LOVE to get these!! I was just looking at them the other day … Then again last night … Then again this morning!! Absolutely fell in love with these when I saw them!!

365
Patty November 25, 2011 at 8:33 am

Not a Big Fan of Black Friday mostly because I am not looking for any big ticket items nor am I that organized with my list yet. I prefer going out the day after Christmas, but thats another story. Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving!

366
Vanessa November 25, 2011 at 8:34 am

I did minimal BF shopping … having a “minimalist” Christmas this year certainly helps!

367
Shannon November 25, 2011 at 8:35 am

Black Friday is not for me although I am keeping an eye out online for some good deals. I just don’t want to fight the crowds. Online is so much easier!

368
Jan C November 25, 2011 at 8:36 am

No Black Friday shopping for me–just online shopping! I’ve got to get my Christmas lights up!

369
Mary E November 25, 2011 at 8:37 am

We had stores that opened at midnight Thanksgiving night to kick off black Friday. For fun, my best friend and I attempted to go. We pulled into the parking lot and the business had a large screen TV playing a movie and the line was wrapped around the building. That was at 10:00 p.m.! We went home! Maybe next year!

370
Dayna November 25, 2011 at 8:37 am

I have only been Black Friday shopping once in my life & I really didn’t think it was worth it. Watching the news this morning people are hurting each other just to be able to buy items….I think that’s terrible!!! I just stay home where it’s warm & avoid the crowds! ;-)

371
shelly davis November 25, 2011 at 8:37 am

I will do my black friday shopping from the comforts of my inlaws living room :)

372
Julie @ Table for Two November 25, 2011 at 8:37 am

I’m doing all my shopping online, but mostly because I have to work today :)

373
Joan McDonald November 25, 2011 at 8:38 am

I am going Black Friday shopping. Looking for down blankets for my kids :-D

374
Terri Taylor November 25, 2011 at 8:39 am

This is the first time in over 15 years that I haven’t ventured out for early Black Friday sales. I don’t even miss it!

375
jen o. November 25, 2011 at 8:39 am

I definitely avoid all Black Friday crowds! I try to score some deals shopping online :o)

376
Lori Smith November 25, 2011 at 8:40 am

I do a great deal of my Black Friday shopping online. My 3 small kids don’t want the really crazy toys yet. I usually go at the end of the day on Friday to avoid the massive craziness. Would love this set.

377
Cathy November 25, 2011 at 8:42 am

I am still curled up sleeping when everyone else is out there getting the great deals!

378
Teresa C. November 25, 2011 at 8:42 am

I’m not really much of a Black Friday shopper…I don’t like crowds! However, I have been getting into online sales in the past few years. :)

379
Mary Anne Huck November 25, 2011 at 8:42 am

I slept in, am going out to a ranch for a BBQ lunch, and then back home to go fishing out in the boat! That’s my idea of an awesome Black Friday!

380
Samantha Deen November 25, 2011 at 8:43 am

We went Black Friday shopping last night! The only thing I got for myself was a sheet set for $20! The rest of my family has been shopping well into the night and today, but sadly I will not be joining them. Oh well there’s always next year.

381
Connie T November 25, 2011 at 8:43 am

Too nutty for me out there. I think I’ll clean instead and you should know I hate cleaning…LOL…just sayin’

382
Samantha M November 25, 2011 at 8:43 am

I didn’t go out this year, I have a 3 week old and I didn’t want to bring him out in the cold. I will try and do some Black Friday shopping online though. Kind of sad because it’s a little fun doing all the crazy Black Friday stuff with my Mom. We have next year!

383
Leah November 25, 2011 at 8:44 am

I’m jealous of all you black friday shoppers!! I’m at work… :-|

(shhhh – doing online shopping)

384
Cindy Regnier November 25, 2011 at 8:44 am

Black friday is to be avoided! Sleeping in is SOOOO much better than fighting crowds for stuff I didn’t really want anyway.

385
Ann S November 25, 2011 at 8:44 am

I sleep in on Black Friday and start decorating for Christmas instead!

386
Sheila November 25, 2011 at 8:45 am

I went out on Black Friday 2 years ago. It was so traumatic that I vowed to never go again. I don’t think there’s a deal out there worth the stress so now I stay home in my pjs w/my kiddos :)

387
Carol Ann Beckum November 25, 2011 at 8:45 am

I absolutely love your site and I download your fantastic fonts every week. Now, Black Friday….first place on my list is Michaels and Hobby Lobby so I can finish up making ornaments and art journal pages as gifts for the special people in my life. Thanks for all the info and love you send out daily.

Joanna November 25, 2011 at 8:47 am

I am not going out shopping for Black Friday. I’d much rather spend these few short days of vacation with my sisters who I hardly get to see all together anymore. We’ll save shopping for sometime later on in December. However, I’d love to win this set of pots and pans for my younger sister, who just got engaged. This would be a great set of pots and pans to start out on!

389
Emily November 25, 2011 at 8:48 am

I hit the early Black Friday sales, but probably won’t go out today because I know that any of the really good deals are always only available in limited stock (1-2 per store). My husband and I went to Walmart last night at 8pm to get a few more light strands for our Christmas tree and there wasn’t a single parking spot to be found. He went around the lot one time and took us home.. party pooper! :P

390
Laura N November 25, 2011 at 8:48 am

I love this bronze look on the pots and pans! I hate the crowds of Black Friday, so I go closer to noon time. And that is only because I don’t want my kids going out there alone! lol

391
Barb November 25, 2011 at 8:48 am

No shopping for me this Friday, enjoying special family time!

392
tanya leavitt November 25, 2011 at 8:48 am

I always think about going out shopping on Black Friday, but then reason sets in and I would rather spend more than have to deal with traffic. I hate driving, it stresses me out. It seems to me that traffic is the worst driving day of the year. Everyone has that crazed “I must get to the next store” look in there eye, and all logic goes out the window. But I do love me some pans!

393
Niki November 25, 2011 at 8:49 am

I’m heading out shortly… am looking for new black flat boots!

394
Aaron Leavitt November 25, 2011 at 8:50 am

I want a rotating waffle iron that JC Penny has for $10.

395
Margo Kimble November 25, 2011 at 8:50 am

I would love these!!

396
Lindsay November 25, 2011 at 8:50 am

Hey Amanda! Awesome Giveaway : ) We’re fixing to move into our new house so this would be a wonderful things for the new kitchen.

I am skipping Black Friday. I am just trying to recover from all the cooking yesterday!

397
Natalie November 25, 2011 at 8:50 am

I debated whether or not to go out and wait in line for a midnight opening at Macys. I have been saving up gift cards specifically to buy a Kitchenaid mixer for a while, and I saw they were $100 off, with an additional $30 mail in rebate. What to do, what to do…I thought about going out and waiting, but it was cold and in a bad part of town I don’t really want to be in by myself at night with other rabid shoppers (haha!). I was sad, but I decided it might be better to just wait. I woke up and got online to see if they still had them at a decent price, and to my surprise they were the same as the ad, with free shipping! SCORE! I got myself a light pink Kitchenaid and a flex edge scraping attachment so I can make cupcakes, cakes and cookies til the cows come home. :) I paid $21 out of pocket, and will get a $30 rebate. I am one happy girl!!!

398
Kelly Ahlstrom November 25, 2011 at 8:50 am

I would love to be picked for this give away! I would be so excited to give this set to my mom. Her pots and pans are a mix match of OLD hand-me downs. She would be over the moon excited to get this set!!

399
Bonnie November 25, 2011 at 8:50 am

The only Black Friday sales I shop are online. No thanks to going out among the wild shoppers! I have my gift lists and can watch for best prices throughout the coming weeks. I love all the tools for comparing and reviewing. Just ship everything to me. :)

400
Kori November 25, 2011 at 8:50 am

You would have to drag me out by my hair to go near any stores on Black Friday! Wanted to do everything online but I just noticed a lot of websites are running very slow… now what do I do?!?!

401
Angela November 25, 2011 at 8:51 am

Sometimes I go sometimes I don’t! There has to be a really good deal to get up that early after a busy day of cooking on Thursday! This year we are going shopping but we did not get up super early we were out by 7! I would live to have those pots and pans they would make a great Christmas present!

402
Darla November 25, 2011 at 8:51 am

No, I did not do any Black Friday shopping, the crowds drive me crazy!

403
Susan November 25, 2011 at 8:51 am

I will head out shopping later in the day. Thanks for the great give-a-way!

404
pam roberts November 25, 2011 at 8:52 am

oh my goodness. I did not go Black Fridaying this morning.. I really didn’t see anything all that great… so I am waiting to go tonight… I am really not looking for anything big.. I wanted a couple new pots and pans…

405
Thelma M. November 25, 2011 at 8:52 am

I do not go out and shop on Black Friday!!!!

406
Andreea November 25, 2011 at 8:52 am

I’d much prefer to stay in relaxing with my hubby and a cup of hot apple cider. There’s lots of deals online too!

407
dette November 25, 2011 at 8:52 am

I love black friday, but this year, I shopped from home via on-line. Stayed up until 1:00 a.m. and scored some good deals while in my jammies!!!

408
Veronique November 25, 2011 at 8:52 am

Hi! I avoid shopping in these crowds, it’s kind of scary! Happy thanksgiving!

409
Casey November 25, 2011 at 8:53 am

I’ve never been out on Black Friday, but I think I’m going to attempt to do some shopping today! We’ll see how it goes….

410
Amanda Thompson November 25, 2011 at 8:53 am

Online shopping today and go out for Small Business Saturday tomorrow!

411
Denise November 25, 2011 at 8:53 am

I made the 10 pm walmart one and was out in an hour. Ill hit a few sales today, but laying a little lower.

412
Janna McKechnie November 25, 2011 at 8:54 am

These are pretty!! I am done Chirstmas Shopping, black Friday and I don’t get along! Ha!

413
jessica November 25, 2011 at 8:54 am

No Black Friday shopping for me this year. I decided to sleep in!

414
Lois Hartwell November 25, 2011 at 8:54 am

I must say I practically avoid leaving my house on Black Friday! It’s a good excuse to stay cocooned at home; catching up on little household duties and maybe beginning the Christmas online purchasing!

415
Lori Capistrant November 25, 2011 at 8:55 am

Black Friday = No shopping for me. I’d probably spend more than I would if I would think harder about gifts and only buy a few things instead of 100 things. Happy Thanksgiving!

416
Leigh Ann November 25, 2011 at 8:55 am

Would LOVE this cookware set. Doing some online Black Friday sales hunting!

417
Kathy November 25, 2011 at 8:55 am

This is the first time in years we haven’t gone.. I couldn’t find a sitter for my kids =( I’m jealous of everyone who got to go out, it puts me in the Christmas spirit!

418
Meggie Fuhrman November 25, 2011 at 8:56 am

I try to avoid black friday shopping all together! It is way too crowded for me, but I love decorating for Christmas on Black friday!

419
Candy November 25, 2011 at 8:56 am

I don’t like Black Friday shopping….too crazy!! I’m spending the day relaxing, doing laundry and catching up on things around the house. Thanks for the chance to win this great give-away. :)

420
amie w. November 25, 2011 at 8:57 am

I have never shopped on black Friday. Way to many pellet for me! I have no patience for it

421
Wendy November 25, 2011 at 8:57 am

I’ve done Black Friday shopping in years past, but lately, I just can’t tolerate the crowds. Also, the deals don’t seem to be as good as they used to be. I much prefer online shopping!

422
amie w. November 25, 2011 at 8:57 am

I have never shopped on black Friday. Way to many people for me! I have no patience for it.

423
Lucy Lam November 25, 2011 at 8:57 am

My husband and I shopped black Friday once … That was enough:). It was amazing to see so many people willing to stand outside of a store in complete darkness, and freezing cold weather!!! Kudos to the brave!!!

424
Maggie November 25, 2011 at 8:58 am

Happy Holidays!! I was out there early-ish at 8am. Anthropologie sales are too rare to pass up.

425
Sarah P November 25, 2011 at 8:58 am

I’m at the office, but did some early morning black shopping on the internet. Nothing beats the thrill of a good deal whether you are out in the trenches or behind the computer. Happy Black Friday!

426
Teresa kelman November 25, 2011 at 8:58 am

My chances of getting a treasure are better on your website than attempting Black Friday shopping.

427
Christine November 25, 2011 at 8:59 am

I did order something online, but I totally plan to not leave the house!!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Christine

428
Marla November 25, 2011 at 8:59 am

My friend & I go black Friday shopping every year. It’s a fun tradition! Even if I don’t really need/want anything that is on sale, I go just for the fun of getting out there & watching all the crazy people!!

429
Kyra November 25, 2011 at 8:59 am

I’ve never done any Black Friday shopping. I can’t take all those crowds! I’d rather do my shopping from the comfort of my own home online! :)

430
erik November 25, 2011 at 9:00 am

I was out at midnight getting deals for my wife!

431
Julie Patton November 25, 2011 at 9:00 am

I have never gone shopping on black Friday….. But today my mom and I are going to Costco to get a free cookbook and then I am running back home… I never need anything bad enough that I would get up early and go shopping :)… Even though I love to shop!!! Thanks

432
Nickie November 25, 2011 at 9:00 am

Love shopping online in my pj’s!

433
judy jursch November 25, 2011 at 9:00 am

When my chilren were little, I ventured out on Black Friday to score on lots of deals on toys, etc. Now that they are adults, I avoid Black Friday like the plague!!
Good luck to all you other Black Friday shoppers..may you find lots and lots of treasures!

434
Jenessa November 25, 2011 at 9:01 am

Doing a little online shopping!!!

435

Black Friday is NOT in my vocabulary EXCEPT I DO-DO Black Friday online! Okay, I’m a wimp! Beautiful pots and pans, for sure – thanks for the chance!

438
Erin November 25, 2011 at 9:03 am

I am going to try to do all of my Black Friday shopping online this year. My daughter and I are in our jammies trying to find the perfect gifts for everyone on our lists. This Calphalon set would be perfect for my mom!

439
Kelly Elliott November 25, 2011 at 9:03 am

My sis-in-law said it best… “Black Friday or Bust!” It was a total bust for us. We started at 9 p.m. last night and had no success because of the crazy crowds, but we still had fun! Will do mostly cyber-shopping this year!

440
Shirley November 25, 2011 at 9:03 am

I don’t do Black Friday and can’t believe so many people want to get trampled like that just to get a bargain!

441
Laura November 25, 2011 at 9:03 am

Not a black Friday shopper. I prefer the comfort of my bed. :)

442
Kimberly November 25, 2011 at 9:03 am

I was up at 4:30 and could have been out shopping; however I am not a high pressure kind of shopper. I will go out about 9am to one or two places and go right to what I am looking for and if it is still there I will get it and if not I will wait. Besides I have most all of my shopping done!

443
Mary R. November 25, 2011 at 9:04 am

Can’t do the Black Friday shopping. Too crazy!!!!

444
Emily November 25, 2011 at 9:06 am

No black Friday shopping for me!! Instead, we stay in our PJ’s, eat salad for every meal and drink lots of Christmas blend coffee:)

445
Lisa Y November 25, 2011 at 9:06 am

I absolutely avoid Black Friday morning at all costs! We venture out later in the day but there’s nothing I have to absolutely have that I have to fight to get. :) Thanks for the opportunity.

446
Michele Perkins November 25, 2011 at 9:06 am

Wow! What a giveaway! When Black Friday comes, I’m gonna dig myself a hole,
Gonna lay down in it ’til I satisfy my soul…Steely Dan.

447
Kelly Jo November 25, 2011 at 9:07 am

I have usually done BF shopping but this year I got everything I needed on the pre-Thanksgiving sales online. So much easier and no crowds or 4AM wake ups!

448
Heidi November 25, 2011 at 9:08 am

I have crowdophobia—not the accurate term I know. Black Friday is too scary for me so I would love to win an awesome set of cooking ware!

449
Torra November 25, 2011 at 9:08 am

I avoid Black Friday like the plague. I like deals as much as the next person but you won’t find me shopping. It’s too crazy!

450
MELANIE WILLIAMS November 25, 2011 at 9:09 am

I’ve never been shopping on black Friday except some online deals once. See some good deals but just can’t deal with the chaos and so many people.

451
Chris Klassen November 25, 2011 at 9:09 am

I’m from Canada, so I’ll just do some “Black Friday Shopping” online.

452
Kim November 25, 2011 at 9:10 am

I definitely do not go out on Black Friday; the crowds are WAY too much for me! I need calm while shopping.

453
Katie November 25, 2011 at 9:12 am

Hard to shop at midnight or even 4 am on Black Friday with my kids, so I stay online finding just as good of bargains! Spending time with my family is better than fighting crowds any day!

454
Lauren November 25, 2011 at 9:12 am

I do the easiest black friday shopping in my opinion. I make the list and send my husband out ;) And then whatever we don’t get in stores I will order online in the next week and be done, wrapped, and ready in time. Thanks for the chance to win!!

455
MandaKay November 25, 2011 at 9:13 am

Beautiful set!

I do not go out Black Friday shopping – way to crazy for me!

456
Sandy C November 25, 2011 at 9:13 am

I never have the chance to shop on Black Fridays, since most of my finances have to go to payments. But I’d really love to win this!

457
AudraG November 25, 2011 at 9:14 am

I love my one caphalon pan. These are gorgeous’

458
Zan November 25, 2011 at 9:14 am

I do not get out in the Friday’s rush. I stay home and play games with my family, fix turkey salad with the leftover turkey, and decorate the house for Christmas.

459
jessia November 25, 2011 at 9:15 am

I think it has now become Black after Thanksgiving dinner Thursday… my family headed out at 8:00pm Thanksgiving Day to start standing in lines. Don’t think my time is worth the savings. But cheers to those that love it!

460
KellyRae November 25, 2011 at 9:15 am

This would be a fabulous cookware set. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win it! My original Caphalon set I received as a wedding gift 21 years ago is due to be ‘retired’ but I keep hanging on (LOVE that Caphalon). A holiday tradition is to peruse the Black Friday ads after Thanksgiving brunch and then each adult plots their store visits and wishlists. This year we also actually went into stores on Thanksgiving evening. Black Friday shopping was completed by 6:35am. Yayyy!!!

461
Leah B November 25, 2011 at 9:15 am

No Black Friday shopping for me. I am working today, but even if I wasn’t I am not sure I could brave those crowds!

462
Janet November 25, 2011 at 9:17 am

I stay away from all stores on Black Friday. Too many cars, people, etc. It is crazy. I have a cousin who loves it and it is the best for her when she can’t find a parking place. Happy Holidays and thanks for a great website.

463
Susan November 25, 2011 at 9:18 am

I draw the line. No store will pull me out of the house on Thanksgiving Day, and it’s not right of them to expect their employees to sacrifice their day of giving thanks, either. That said, a great silhouette cutter deal would have pulled me from the sheets as early as necessary Friday morning. Alas, no deal, therefore, I got some extra ZZZs.

464
Gina November 25, 2011 at 9:18 am

Black Friday shopping leaves me blue.

465
Lindsey Crumby November 25, 2011 at 9:21 am

Black Friday is a blast!! I fought the crowds at Target and scored some great deals on movies and some kitchen goods!

466
Gretta November 25, 2011 at 9:21 am

We always go out for Black Friday shopping. I just love all the crazy energy out there!

467
kathrynhendry November 25, 2011 at 9:21 am

No Black Friday. Waiting for #SmallBizSat and buying American!

468
Melanie November 25, 2011 at 9:21 am

I live in Canada and we do not Black Friday, but may look at going down South next year for a shopping trip.

469
Tammy November 25, 2011 at 9:21 am

I do my Black Friday shopping online to avoid the crowds.

470
Amy November 25, 2011 at 9:22 am

We do our Black Friday shopping online!

471
stephanie November 25, 2011 at 9:22 am

I prefer to do my shopping in a less crowded enviroment so no to black Friday shopping. But i would LOVE those pots and pans.

472
Jenny November 25, 2011 at 9:23 am

I wasn’t able to shop on Black Friday this year because I had to work. Last year was my first Black Friday experience and I had fun with my daughter, sister and niece. My favorite part though was going out to breakfast after the shopping!!

473
Elizabeth Smith November 25, 2011 at 9:23 am

love to stay warm at home and shop from here… Happy Holidays!

474
Bettina C November 25, 2011 at 9:23 am

I avoid the black friday lines like the plague! Did you hear the news story this morning about the woman who pepper sprayed people over an Xbox 360 at a Walmart? No way I’m getting out with the crazies :)

475
Karen K November 25, 2011 at 9:23 am

I do not like the stores opening at midnight for black friday. . . . just had to say it.

476
Kelsey t November 25, 2011 at 9:24 am

I am going out saturday instead :)

477
marnel November 25, 2011 at 9:24 am

I usually just shop the advertisements, then wait for deals on line closer to the holiday. This cookware would make a super gift!

Brittany November 25, 2011 at 9:25 am

I try to avoid, avoid, avoid! Instead, I’m shopping online in my pajamas. :)

479
Sarah Weber November 25, 2011 at 9:25 am

NO,NOT ever …not patient enough for that! Doing more online shopping.

480
Kimberly Beal November 25, 2011 at 9:25 am

Just window shopping for me this year. I love the hustle and bustle, the bells and the carols, the crisp in the air. These things make me smile.

481
Paige S November 25, 2011 at 9:26 am

I actually did some shopping on Thanksgiving but the rest will be done online.

482
Stacy S. November 25, 2011 at 9:26 am

this year because of illness I am staying in, but if I wasn’t I would be out with all the other crazy people…too many good deals to be had!!!

483
Elizabeth November 25, 2011 at 9:26 am

I would like to go shopping, but I’m stuck at work :(

484
Carla J in AR November 25, 2011 at 9:28 am

Black Friday???/ I thought it was SCRAP Friday….that is my plan for today. I will do some shopping online.

485
Thesha November 25, 2011 at 9:28 am

There is nothing that I need or want enough to forgo sleep and freeze to death only to fight my way through crowds. More power to those who do it though! :)

486
Patti W November 25, 2011 at 9:28 am

I am hiding at home with the grandbabies. No more getting up before the birds and running around like crazy. I enjoy sitting on the floor and playing much more!

487
Cortney van weerdhuizen November 25, 2011 at 9:29 am

Yes I went to target and Wal-mart and pretty much got all that we want.

488
cindi m November 25, 2011 at 9:29 am

No Black Friday shopping for me. I can’t deal w the crowds and trying to find parking, so if I buy anything, it’s always online!

489
Chantel November 25, 2011 at 9:29 am

The black Friday midnight opening really bugged me this year!! I’m staying home with my kiddos today. We are cooking up a yummy breakfast and maybe will put up our tree:)

490
Pam Capone November 25, 2011 at 9:29 am

I usually do not go out on Black Friday but Olive needs dog food so off to Cal Ranch in a couple hours. This year I was a armchair shopper.

491
Janet November 25, 2011 at 9:30 am

Working, so no shopping today.

492
Candra C. November 25, 2011 at 9:30 am

I was definitely thinking about going out to fight the crowds in search of a TV and/or laptop. But didn’t go again. The day isn’t over yet though it’s just 10:30am :)

493
Kathi November 25, 2011 at 9:31 am

I don’t do Black Friday. The money I would possibly save would not be worth the sanity I would lose. I’m a sucker for deals, though, so I make sure ALL of my shopping is finished before the week of Thanksgiving so I’m not tempted to score a crazy Black Friday deal.

494
Jen from Oz November 25, 2011 at 9:31 am

Yes – we went out around 10:30 and hit Walmart, Toys R Us, Kohls, and Target and got home at 3 a.m. Love it!!

495
Jessica November 25, 2011 at 9:31 am

I LOVE Black Friday Shopping!!!!……. But, I have a new job and had to work =( sniff..sniff…=( Every year I usually are out there with the crazies having the best time with my friends, but I had to be a big girl this year and work.

496
Jessica November 25, 2011 at 9:31 am

Black Friday makes me feel anxious. Too many frantic people. However, if I could win these gorgeous pans just for being into Black Friday sign me up.

497
Erin B. November 25, 2011 at 9:32 am

No shopping for me! Unfortunately banks can’t be closed more than 3 days in a row, so I’m here working! (Actually, I’m not really doing much work since everyone THINKS we’re closed!)

498
Sharon Hall November 25, 2011 at 9:32 am

No shopping on Black Friday for me either, like many others I am doing almost all shopping online. Great giveaway – I’m hoping to be the winner a,

499
ellen patton November 25, 2011 at 9:33 am

I never go shopping on Black Friday but I just saw that Eddie Bauer has 40% off EVERYTHING so I might have to make an appearance at the mall (I need a new winter coat and some gloves).

500
Lili A November 25, 2011 at 9:33 am

I did Black Friday once and although i got pretty good deals. I dont think I will ever go again!!! People loose all consideration for Human life and will do ANYTHING to get what they want….

501
Becca November 25, 2011 at 9:33 am

I went to Old Navy as soon as they opened on Thanksgiving! Got amazing clothing deals and there was no crazy crowd! Also went to Toys r Us at 5am today and bought my son his Christmas gift – a train set! :) Looooove Black Friday deals!

502
Kelly Jo November 25, 2011 at 9:34 am

508
Cindee November 25, 2011 at 9:37 am

Sitting here in my PJs, online shopping – no fighting the crowds for me. The $$ saved isn’t worth the cost of therapy. :)

509
Kate November 25, 2011 at 9:37 am

I’m not going out for Black Friday, I saving my time and money for Small Business Saturday and keeping it local! Hope more people do the same!

513
Allison Fluck November 25, 2011 at 9:40 am

My sister and I usually embrace the Black Friday madness together. We hit the sales last night, so we got to sleep in this morning!

514
Danyelle November 25, 2011 at 9:40 am

Much to my 2 year old’s disappointment, we don’t get out and go shopping for Black Friday. I much prefer to shop from the comfort of my pajamas and computer.

515
Julie November 25, 2011 at 9:40 am

No black Friday shopping for me although since I have a newborn and up in the middle of the night anyway I could have gotten lots done!

516
Shawna November 25, 2011 at 9:41 am

Yes! I do Black Friday —– but I do it at home on the internet. There is no way I want to fight those crowds. Happy Holidays to YOU and YOURS and thanks for the chance to win this incredible cookware!

517
Mona November 25, 2011 at 9:41 am

I like Black Friday “ONLINE” & I’ve already made a few purchases.

518
Melissa November 25, 2011 at 9:43 am

you couldn’t pay me to do Black Friday shopping!!!

519
Suzanne Shepherd November 25, 2011 at 9:43 am

I NEVER did black Friday when we lived in Michigan! Too cold, too snowy, too crowded!! Fours years ago we moved to Phoenix – now I look forward to getting out on this first “official” shopping day of the Christmas season. No early morning madness, though. We will go out very late this afternoon to enjoy sunset and the palm trees at the outdoor shopping mall lit with holiday lights. So pretty and festive!

520
Karen @ Goofy Can Cook November 25, 2011 at 9:44 am

I choose to shop Black Friday from home. The husband and I usually just spend the next three days at home eating and enjoying each other’s company.

521
Kimberly November 25, 2011 at 9:45 am

I personally think people are crazy for going out today…lol

Thanks for giving us a chance to win something awesome!

522
Emily November 25, 2011 at 9:46 am

Happy thanksgiving! I’m hanging out with my family today. Thanks for hosting the giveaway.

523
Jey November 25, 2011 at 9:46 am

I avoid it… Went shopping on Black Friday only once in my life and I thought it was so stressful. Now I just wake up on Black Friday to eat leftovers for breakfast as I watch the news report on the various crazy incidents that happened in the wee hours of the morning.

524
Jennifer November 25, 2011 at 9:46 am

I avoid Black Friday! I spend the day decorating the house for Christmas instead! I do shop on Saturday to support local businesses and of course on Cyber Monday!

525
Cassie Tucker November 25, 2011 at 9:46 am

We did the evening before Black Friday this year. We went to Wal-Mart and Gamestop last night at 10:00pm and fought TONS of people for stuff. In past years we have gotten up as early as 3:00am to be at places. This year we scored a sewing machine for $70 (Christmas gift for my sister), tons of Blu-Rays for $5 each, a Wii and several games for less than $80 and a pink Wii controller (totally for me) for $45 ;)

526
Lisa W November 25, 2011 at 9:46 am

Every year I say I’m going to go, but I’m always so tired from a thanksgiving that I end up waking up late and having a nice, lazy day with my family :)

527
April S. November 25, 2011 at 9:46 am

I don’t go out for Black Friday shopping – way to crazy!!

528
wv112 November 25, 2011 at 9:46 am

avoid Black Friday like the plague

529
Jessica November 25, 2011 at 9:48 am

I don’t go shopping on Black Friday. Having spent more holidays than I can count working retail during college, I am stunned at how little time is sacred and do my part to make sure people can be with their families by NOT shopping on Thursday or Friday.

530
Barb November 25, 2011 at 9:48 am

NO to Black Friday for this teacher….need a peaceful day after cooking and cleaning for the feast.

531
Annette Mummery November 25, 2011 at 9:48 am

My Black Friday shopping adventure is to get to Costco by 9am and get their wonderful FREE cookbook. Other than that, maybe a little online shopping!

532
Susy Peters de Fehr November 25, 2011 at 9:48 am

533
Arilla November 25, 2011 at 9:48 am

We’re near Beaufort, South Carolina for the Thanksgiving weekend and it’s a cold day on the beach. No black Friday shopping for me – I don’t like to shop to begin with and on this busy busy day? No Thanks! I’ll be happy just to sit here looking out at the ocean and maybe do a little bit of surfing (the cyber-kind).

534
Nancy November 25, 2011 at 9:48 am

Having medical issues this year, so will not be Black Friday shopping… I actually have my daughter shopping for me this year. This would be a great present for her for all her help!

535
Jennifer Young November 25, 2011 at 9:49 am

I go every yr with my sis in law! It’s something fun we do together and we always have a blast!

536
Jacqui November 25, 2011 at 9:50 am

I attempted to go to Best Buy at midnight to get a TV, but after seeing the line I drove right home!!

537
April B. November 25, 2011 at 9:50 am

Pick me pick me!! This is an awesome giveaway!!! I would love to go Black Friday shopping but I usually have to work…. I’m really excited to find some great deals online though!

538

No Black Friday shopping for me. The color of thes pots and pans is beautiful.

539
Kari Howell November 25, 2011 at 9:51 am

This is actually the first year that I haven’t gone out to go shopping. This year we decided to stay inside and shop online.

540
Christine B November 25, 2011 at 9:54 am

I avoid black Friday shopping. The savings is not worth the stress that comes with the crowds!

541
Katya O'Leary November 25, 2011 at 9:54 am

No Black Friday shopping for me!! Too crazy!! I would LOVE the Calphalon, tho!!

542
Patricia November 25, 2011 at 9:55 am

keeping grandson so his mother can go black friday shopping. I would rather spend my day off with him more than shopping. I also can shop at home on the internet.

543
Angie November 25, 2011 at 9:55 am

I skip the black Friday shopping. I do it right form my home in my jammies!!! I would love these pots and pans!!

544
Aimee November 25, 2011 at 9:55 am

I’ve never shopped on Black Friday and don’t plan to! Too many people.

545
Cheri November 25, 2011 at 9:55 am

Entertaining to watch people get all worked up for a deal ;) My husband actually shops with me and stands in line with a coupon for 1 item if needs be – love it! =)

546
becky November 25, 2011 at 9:55 am

For 5 years in a row I use to shop on Black Friday but after a lady grabbed something out of my hands one years I was in shock from that and didn’t go again. I will just look out for good buys and coupons from here until Christmas eve. My dad use to take me on Christmas eve to help him do all his shoppping when I was a child and we had so much fun that I decided I liked doing that better than being all prepared. I would love love love to win this set of pans. They are just beautiful. Hugs, Becky

547
Janet November 25, 2011 at 9:56 am

I’m an avoider! Love the Calphalon.

548
chelsea November 25, 2011 at 9:56 am

I did the midnight shopping madness and it was amazing. But I came home with a 300 dollar 46 inch tv. WHAHOO!

549
Suzanne Bond November 25, 2011 at 9:57 am

I avoid Black Friday MORE than I would the plague! I won’t leave my house again until Monday. No amount of bargains/sales are worth the dangerous traffic and that’s not to mention the desperate, vicious people trying to nab one of the few items available. It’s ridiculous!

550
Tracy November 25, 2011 at 9:58 am

I’ve only gone shopping early on black Friday one other time. This year I took a nap and woke up around midnight, so I decided to go to Best Buy, to see if there were any ridiculously low-priced flat screen tv’s left that were on sale. There were not, but I did find one that was a very good buy so I bought it, as I have never owned a flat screen HD TV. Then I drove across the street and parked at JCPenney waiting for them to open so I could get one of their snow globes as a keepsake for my grandson’s first Christmas, but after realizing I forgot to set my car clock back for daylight saving’s, I left, realizing they wouldn’t open for another hour.

551
Sandy_in_MD November 25, 2011 at 9:58 am

I am shopping, from the best place – right in front of my computer. :~) Thanks for sponsoring this awesome giveaway!

552
Melissa R. November 25, 2011 at 9:58 am

I love Black Friday! Don’t mind the lines or the crowds. I go in with a plan, so I am in and out. Never go without a plan and know what it is you want to get.

553
Sherri November 25, 2011 at 9:59 am

I woke up at 4am one year to shop black friday and that was enough for me. Now I avoid the stores and crowds like the plague and instead do “some” online shopping while I spend the rest of the weekend decorating for Christmas :)

554
Emma Jo November 25, 2011 at 9:59 am

Those pots are absolutely beautiful!
I have one small pot from the set, but I’d love to have all of them :)

555
Natalie November 25, 2011 at 9:59 am

I went to target at midnight : ) It was crazy but everything was very organized!

556
Kim November 25, 2011 at 9:59 am

My daughter and I went out last night for the Moonlight Madness sales after a movie… it was a madhouse. I can’t imagine what it must have been like this morning!!

557
Carla November 25, 2011 at 9:59 am

No Black Friday shopping! All my men are in the woods and I’m un-decorating Thanksgiving and starting on my Christmas decorating!

558
KarenB November 25, 2011 at 9:59 am

I’m lovin’ black friday! Spent $400 but got over $900 in stuff…Gap and Express have amazing deals!

P.S. I love your blog.

559
Becky November 25, 2011 at 10:00 am

I went to Michael’s yesterday with a 30% off coupon and I have to work today, so I think I’ll run to walmart during my lunch break and get some toys :)

560
bee November 25, 2011 at 10:02 am

I won’t be going out today! It’s just me and the little one, so I’m not taking any chances. :)

561
Robin Chiang November 25, 2011 at 10:02 am

I do not shop in the stores on Black Friday. I do all my shopping online and I find great deals. I would love to win the cookware!

562
Anna Thomas November 25, 2011 at 10:02 am

My husband and I may go out just for the entertainment factor of watching all the shoppers buzzing around. Maybe we’ll even find some fun deals while we’re out! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win those pots and pans! They’re beautiful!

563
Amanda Stowers November 25, 2011 at 10:03 am

A friend and I went to Michaels and WalMart and I was back home with my bargains by 10:30 last night–I did the rest online!!! Thanks for the chance to win–I LOVE these pots and pans (they are even on my husband and I’s wishlist) :-)

564
Amy (Peppermint Mocha Mama) November 25, 2011 at 10:04 am

I bought my first items ever on Black Friday this year… granted, I was sitting right here in my pjs but still – very excited to get the gifts I purchased. I don’t like crowds so this way I stay sane and my family still get the wishes on their lists.

Now, that cookware is on my wishlists and I’m in front of my computer again… let’s see if it works three times in one day!

565
Kristin Kneupper November 25, 2011 at 10:04 am

I did a little bit of Cyber Black Friday shopping, that’s about it! I’m not brave enough to venture out!

566
Ellen November 25, 2011 at 10:06 am

I don’t like to fight the crowds, but do like to get my Black Friday deals online. Amazon.com has some great ones the week before and on Black Friday. Love you blog! Life is good :)

567
Marnie November 25, 2011 at 10:06 am

I was up at 2 (not on purpose, though) and decided to go out. I hit Walmart, Target, Home Depot and Macy’s. Happy Holidays!

568
DeAnna November 25, 2011 at 10:07 am

Well, yes I am going to go out for awhile with my daughter. :-) I usually don’t she talked me into it. So not looking for anything special really just hang’n out w/ my favorite girl. (that makes it worth it)

569
Jennifer Hutchinson November 25, 2011 at 10:07 am

I am not headed out for Black Friday this year but last year Mom and went out at 3am. It was so much fun to spend time just with mom while all my babes were sleeping soundly in their beds back home!
Thanks Amanda for all these super slendid giveaways!

570
Trina November 25, 2011 at 10:07 am

Skipped Black Friday shopping and slept in. Was awesome:)

571
Judy November 25, 2011 at 10:10 am

yes I did. Just got home and I am exhausted! Why why?

572
Andrea Watters November 25, 2011 at 10:10 am

I started the tradition of Black Friday shopping with my sister about 6 years ago. She HATES getting up at 2am every year but once she’s there we have a great time together. She was super excited that the stores all opened around midnight this year because she thought she could at least stay awake until then. Neither of us made it til 11pm. Hopefully next year it will go back to that God-awful 2am :)

573
Leslie November 25, 2011 at 10:10 am

I spent my black friday morning sleeping…….none of the black friday deals really made me want to go out in the cold!!

574
Sarah B. November 25, 2011 at 10:10 am

Black Friday has become a tradition between me and my best friend. We have now gone 5 years in a row. This time we went to walmart at 8pm (it was CRAZY) and then we headed over to Target at 10:20pm and waited till 12am. Target was so organized and I had to thank them over and over again for their awesome organization skills. We then went to Mc.D’s for breakfast and then slept in the car till 4am until JC Penny’s opened. I then quickly made it home to catch a few quick zzz because I had to be at work at 9am this morning. It was a swell time. I love Black Friday for hang time with my friend and the sport of it.

575
Lisa November 25, 2011 at 10:12 am

I used to avoid Black Friday shopping like the plague. But now I go out later in the day. I’m not prepared to get pushed over a cute sweater or shoved over a cheap crock pot. I’m still in my jammies and will probably head out to the stores to pick through the shopping leftovers around 1ish.

576
Sylvia November 25, 2011 at 10:12 am

I stayed in and let my fingers do the shopping. Old Navy online had great deals. Everyone is now outfitted with a new winter coat….and I didn’t have to wait in any line! Woohoo!

577
Crystal November 25, 2011 at 10:12 am

I did not go out shopping since I wake up for work at 5:30 am as it is. My hubby went though, and was able to get a specific toy our daughter has been wanting forever. It was even the last one on the shelf! Whoo hoo :)

578
Rachel November 25, 2011 at 10:12 am

I avoid black Friday like the plague! I might shop online this year – Colette patterns is doing 30% off :)

579
Kelly November 25, 2011 at 10:14 am

I am an online shopper all the way!

580
bettie November 25, 2011 at 10:14 am

I am staying home and smiling, cause I am not out there in the madness.

581
Brianna November 25, 2011 at 10:16 am

I generally avoid even leaving the house on Black Friday, the traffic alone is insane.

582
Denise November 25, 2011 at 10:17 am

Never do Black Friday, though I love a deal! Just not into all the frenzy. Love to cook and bake and could really use new pots & pans! ;) tis the season — -fa la la! Denise

583
Amy November 25, 2011 at 10:17 am

I’m not good with crazy crowds, so DH is my personal shopper!

584
Jenna Allen November 25, 2011 at 10:18 am

I’ve done the whole black Friday shopping thing before…but haven’t in several years. I love to shop, but can’t bring myself to wake up that early! Haha! Happy holidays everyone! :)

585
tamara p November 25, 2011 at 10:18 am

Oh No! I would NEVER shop on Black Friday!!!! Thousands of people to fight with over something they’ll only have 3 of on stock! Ridiculous!!!

586
Jennifer W. November 25, 2011 at 10:19 am

I might venture out on Black Friday one of these days if I can ever convince a friend to go with me… until then I’m content to do as much of my shopping online as possible after Thanksgiving!

587
Jaime Layton November 25, 2011 at 10:19 am

I am having more fun shopping from home!

588
Alyssa November 25, 2011 at 10:19 am

Well, we drove past Target near our place last night and observed all the crazy people who were waiting in line at 10pm. Then we went home to bed. Today I’m working… and shopping online. I just scored a lovely coral colored top for 50% off!

589
Melissa Reuss November 25, 2011 at 10:20 am

I had never gone out for any Black Friday shopping until last night. My 12 year old nephew wanted a game system so I went to Walmart shortly before 10 p.m. to get in line. Well, the line for the game system was already full. Sold out even before the 10 p.m. sale started! Oh well. I took a video of the craziness when 10 p.m. came instead. Then I left. Not my idea of fun. Sure would like a new set of pots and pans though. Mine are 27 years old. Thanks.

590
Ryan Haley November 25, 2011 at 10:20 am

I need new pots!!

591
Alvina November 25, 2011 at 10:20 am

I do my black friday shopping online! Especially since some stores jump on the sales before cyber monday. :)

592
Kalyn November 25, 2011 at 10:20 am

I’m definitely staying home today and hanging out with the fam.

593
Jennie November 25, 2011 at 10:21 am

I’ll only be shopping ONLINE today (as I don’t want to deal with the crowds), but I’ve already found several good deals. Thanks for the chance to win! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

594
Sean Dougherty November 25, 2011 at 10:21 am

Shopping in the stores can be such a pain, i love how great online shopping has become.

595
Julia November 25, 2011 at 10:21 am

I can’t believe this, but I’m going to IKEA today; not for Black Friday savings, but to make a return and pick up a few items that I really need. I live in Manhattan which means that a trip out there involves renting a car. This is serious business!

596
Shawnna November 25, 2011 at 10:22 am

No way would I voluntarily go out today.

597
Barb B November 25, 2011 at 10:22 am

I did my black friday shopping on Wednesday! You can’t beat the online deals, the lack of crowds and no screaming children in tow!

598
Leah Williams November 25, 2011 at 10:23 am

I try to avoid the craziness of Black Friday as much as possible! I like to shop online. I may try to venture out later in the day to get a couple of small things, but I would rather put up my Christmas decorations!!!

Lauren November 25, 2011 at 10:23 am

I am going to do some window shopping in downtown Chicago!

600
Kimmie November 25, 2011 at 10:24 am

No black friday shopping here, hanging out with the kiddos in our pjs

601
Laura PRestler November 25, 2011 at 10:24 am

We went black Friday shopping and scored a great deal on a TV and a few toys for my kiddo. We didn’t go to any of the stores when they opened and actually that worked out really well – we missed out on a few deals but most of the stores were fully stocked and we didn’t have to wait in line!

602
GinaE November 25, 2011 at 10:24 am

Online shopping for me. No stress way…just have the UPS man bring it all to your door! I’m already mostly done! Thanks for the chance to win these lovely pans!!!

603
Teresa November 25, 2011 at 10:25 am

The only time i went shopping on Black Friday, i was very pregnant (due in dec) and i got knocked down by crazy shoppers so i never went back, now for tradition, each year the day after thanksgiving is for putting up trees, etc….and it will be almost 16 years in Dec since we have started that tradition and i love it :)

604
Abby November 25, 2011 at 10:26 am

I black Friday shopped online for lots of clothes!

605
Crystal November 25, 2011 at 10:26 am

Black friday is too crazy for me! If you pick me this will be my one and only black Friday deal and of course the best one ever:)

606
Nancy Fox November 25, 2011 at 10:27 am

I’m enjoying doing my shopping online while still in my PJ’s…going to take a class later instead…much less stressful!

607
Jacki November 25, 2011 at 10:28 am

In college I used to do day-after-Thanksgiving shopping with my Dad. We got some pretty good deals; usually stuff for us though, not Christmas shopping. :)

608
Anne November 25, 2011 at 10:30 am

I’m going to sit this one out :)

609
sabrina isaac November 25, 2011 at 10:30 am

I did not go out today! :( my first time not going in years. I just did not have the urge this year to see the madness. But I usually check out the ads the day before and get up around 5 on black friday, get some coffee and head out with my friends. it is more of a get together than a shopping mission. lol I just love seeing the rush of people. Oh well there is always next year.

Happy Holidays. Sabrina

610
Lourdes Fay November 25, 2011 at 10:30 am

I’m not planning on fighting the crowds. So if I won this set it would be awesome!!!

611
Patti November 25, 2011 at 10:31 am

I prefer to do the shopping online. Much safer :). A woman shot pepper spray to keep shoppers from merchandise she wanted during a Black Friday sale, and 20 people suffered minor injuries, authorities said.

612
Courtney Wise November 25, 2011 at 10:33 am

I decided not to go to stores this year for black friday shopping. Alot of the things I have had my eye on were available on the store websites at great prices. Like a kitchenaide mixer!

613
Valerie November 25, 2011 at 10:33 am

I never have, nor will I ever go into town to do the black Friday thing. It’s completely ridiculous to me. I love my sleep & really hate crowds…so yea, a no go for me. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

614
Laurel November 25, 2011 at 10:33 am

I’ve been done shopping for two weeks. Can you say online shopping? No crowds, No losing sleep. No rush or panic. I still got a lot of great deals too!

615
Becca November 25, 2011 at 10:34 am

I avoid that hot mess like the plague! My bff and I are going to patronize the local candy shop later in the day. That is our special treat to welcome the holidays!

616
Janice Britton November 25, 2011 at 10:34 am

At my (rather) advanced age, I prefer to put my feet up in front of the fire on Black Friday after an all-out effort on Thanksgiving day…I know my limitations (and priorities)! Happy Thanksgiving AND Black Friday to all those who are out there today. I’ll stay right where I am!

617
Amanda November 25, 2011 at 10:34 am

oooh la la!! :) pick me pick me!! Happy black friday shopping all!! Good deals are EVERYWHERE today…enjoy :)

618
Katelyn November 25, 2011 at 10:35 am

I don’t go shopping on Black Friday. I don’t like fighting over the last of the best gifts and then standing in massive lines all day long. Instead I like to go out to the mall and watch all the other people hustling around trying to get everything on their Christmas lists.

619
Lynn November 25, 2011 at 10:35 am

Black Friday is way over rated. Stay home and let the turkey settle, shop online!!!

620
Cj November 25, 2011 at 10:35 am

Avoid it like the plague
Did all my shopping online WOOT!
got great deals, mostly free shipping, no crowds no lines!

621
Sandy F November 25, 2011 at 10:36 am

I went Black Friday shopping last year and said never again. The only fun part was going with my daughter and daughter-in-law.

622
Sylvia Roberts November 25, 2011 at 10:36 am

Just recently purchased my first piece of Calphalon and absolutely love it….so pick me!!!

623

I prefer the online Black Friday shopping!!!

624
Penny H November 25, 2011 at 10:37 am

Went last night to Walmart – never again!!! Shopping online today!

625
Laurel Graham November 25, 2011 at 10:37 am

I’m not a big Black Friday shopper, but I’ve been keeping an eye on some online deals today!

626
Stephanie November 25, 2011 at 10:38 am

I’ve actually only shopped the early Black Friday sales ONE time!! This year I’ll be going out in the afternoon to hit up JoAnn fabrics for great fabric deals :)

627
mary fanara coleman November 25, 2011 at 10:38 am

No…no black friday shopping for me.Resting today.

628
Cindy November 25, 2011 at 10:38 am

those pots/pans are sooo cute!

630
Shelle November 25, 2011 at 10:40 am

I avoid the crowds at any cost! I do hunt for deals online in the comfort of my flannel PJs!

631
JULIE REYNOLDS November 25, 2011 at 10:40 am

No Black Friday shopping for me, I have to work today but even if I was off I would much rather cozy up with a good movie and my honey than fight the sales crowd. Much easier to shop online cyber monday! I would love this cookware!

632
Kristin Burkhardt November 25, 2011 at 10:41 am

i went black friday shopping at 7am this morning. hit target, toys r us and walmart and was home by 9:30. i got everything i wan’t all at 50% off or more! it was great!

633
LaurenH November 25, 2011 at 10:43 am

No shopping here!

634
Melissa N November 25, 2011 at 10:43 am

I am avoiding the mall and stores today, I think!

635
Emily November 25, 2011 at 10:43 am

I hit up Joann’s and michael’s this morning but will do the rest of my black Friday shopping online!

636
Kristel November 25, 2011 at 10:43 am

No black Friday shopping for me. I don’t like to get caught up in the commercialism of the holiday. :)

637
Jen M. November 25, 2011 at 10:44 am

My husband and I went out to Target at Midnight…… It was insanity! Walked around and just took it all in. Didn’t purchase anything and glad we didn’t find anything we really wanted just so we didn’t have to stand in the checkout line!!

638
Stephanie C November 25, 2011 at 10:44 am

I am a little bit afraid of black friday shopping but will try it someday.

639
Deea November 25, 2011 at 10:44 am

My teenage daughter loves to Black Friday shop & I’m soo very thankful that my husband takes her. They are still gone & I’m enjoying my empty house after a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. :)

640
AliciaC November 25, 2011 at 10:44 am

Not a black Friday shopper. I’m at home trimming the tree and baking!

641
Ty November 25, 2011 at 10:44 am

I love to do the early morning shopping but i have a baby this year and my needs have changed. I enjoyed waking up with him at 8 and watching the crazy crowds on TV and getting leftover recipies from my fav blogs! Happy Holidays!

642
Krissy November 25, 2011 at 10:44 am

I tried to go Black Friday shopping last night at 10 pm, but when I saw how many cars were parked at my local WalMart, I turned around and drove home.
It was insane how many cars were there. It blew my mind. So, my Black Friday shopping story isn’t very exciting, but thank you for a great giveaway! :)
I hope I win. This cookware is amazing!

643
Monica Ackerman November 25, 2011 at 10:46 am

No way, Jose! I don’t leave the house. I try not to even look outside on Black Friday. I do enjoy looking at the ads, though. Our Thanksgiving newspaper weighed 5 lbs this year with all the ads!

644
Lindsay November 25, 2011 at 10:47 am

Ive never done Black Friday shopping, I’m a last minute Christmas shopper :)

645
Sheila November 25, 2011 at 10:50 am

Went Black Friday shopping this morning and scored a Kindle for my mom ! Not much else I could spring for/needed! But I do love the ruckus.

646
keria November 25, 2011 at 10:53 am

Nope – cyber monday for me!

647
Melinda Shapro November 25, 2011 at 10:54 am

I totally avoid Black Friday shopping. We saw people lined up outside of Target last night and were so happy to be in a warm car and heading home.

648
Kayla Castillo November 25, 2011 at 10:55 am

I definitely avoid Black Friday shopping!! Way too many people and I’d much rather pay a little more for presents and stay in my nice warm bed!

649
Megan November 25, 2011 at 10:55 am

I didn’t do any Black Friday shopping, but I’m kind of regretting not going to Target at midnight last night – just to see what they had!

650
Haley November 25, 2011 at 10:56 am

I had every intention of going shopping today.. I think that last glass of Chardonnay made me stay in bed a little longer than expected ;)

651
Regan November 25, 2011 at 10:56 am

I went to Walmart on Thanksgiving night with some friends, but I normally don’t go anywhere for Black Friday!

652
Jessica November 25, 2011 at 10:57 am

After having Thanksgiving for 30 people, Black Friday is my day to sleep in! I prefer to shop on the internet in my jammies on the couch! :)

653
Sarah November 25, 2011 at 10:59 am

I’m staying in and doing some online shopping in my PJs!

654
Anita Waters November 25, 2011 at 10:59 am

Oh no, I stayed HOME this year and let me tell you, it was so much nicer! I didn’t get any deals but I always end up overspending anyway so I’ll just take my time this year. Might be a good year to try to focus less on the “stuff” and more on the family!

655
Courtney November 25, 2011 at 10:59 am

I went to a couple pre-Black Friday sales, but I’m staying home today with a warm cup of tea!

656
S.a. November 25, 2011 at 11:00 am

I will go out later but no 4a.m for me! Love this giveaway!!

657
Melissa Jefferson November 25, 2011 at 11:00 am

I did not avoid Black Friday all together. I decided to do lots of online shopping. It is like Christmas twice…once receiving the ordered merchandise for my kiddos and family and a second round when they open their gifts! Pure Joy!

658
Koren H November 25, 2011 at 11:01 am

I’m skipping the crowds this year… it’s just too stressful!

659
Ninna Berries November 25, 2011 at 11:01 am

Only once I went out to shoping on Black Friday; it was stressful because of the crowd. I prefer stay at home or shopping online! Crowds makes me sick :P

660
Amanda November 25, 2011 at 11:01 am

I didn’t get to go shopping yet, I was working at 5 am and saw all the crazy people waiting for the shops near by to open… Maybe I’ll head out after lunch!

661
Wendy Cloutier November 25, 2011 at 11:03 am

NO to the crowds and craziness of Black Friday. So this would be the BEST black Friday out there for me—no crowds, free and just a little craziness to think that i’ll be picked :)

662
Sherry November 25, 2011 at 11:03 am

Got some black friday deals online this year. But I did hit a couple stores this morning. In and out real quick. I try to stay away as much as I can.

663
Marla November 25, 2011 at 11:03 am

This year I am avoiding Black Friday shopping like the plague. I’ll wait for Cyber-Monday.

664
April November 25, 2011 at 11:03 am

No Black Friday shopping for me! After hosting 16 people, I am still in my pj’s and drinking my coffee and it is noon!

665
Donna Uscinowicz November 25, 2011 at 11:04 am

I was out last night at Toys R Us starting at 9 pm and home at 3 am. I do any and all sales that I possibly can do in store and on line….. anything to save a penny.

666
Stephanie T November 25, 2011 at 11:04 am

No black friday shopping for me, well not at the malls anyway. I’m sticking to online shipping this year, I did buy myself a kitchenaid mixer on sale today but that all I’ll be buying until cyber monday.

667
Marci November 25, 2011 at 11:04 am

I have never attempted to go out on Black Friday. It’s crazy how people actually fight over items. Pepper sprayed, no thanks. I’d rather pay the extra 20.00 for the item.
Plus, I like my sleep too much.

668
Mary November 25, 2011 at 11:05 am

I don’t shop on Black Friday because it is too Wild…..but I know people look forward to it and love getting bargains. I would love to win this great gift.

669
Linda November 25, 2011 at 11:05 am

I definitely avoided it like the plague. After reading that a woman pepper sprayed other customers to keep them from merchandise I am glad that I am not out in that craziness! Hope you had a great Thanksgving.

670
Jessica November 25, 2011 at 11:05 am

pick me!! :) online shopping all the way…people are crazy on black friday!

671
Paula K. November 25, 2011 at 11:05 am

I avoid shopping in stores on Black Friday. I love shopping online though. I have been searching for a great camera deal for my daughter. She is interested in photography, and she is quite good. She has been wanting a really expensive camera (her own money), so we stayed up last night to search for deals at midnight. It’s been fun.

I would love the cookware. Anytime I cook, I seem to run out of pots and pans. The ones I have are not that good, so I’m sure this set will help me a great deal.

672
Marsha November 25, 2011 at 11:06 am

I live in a very small town…over 100 miles to the nearest shopping spots. I’ve been to a few Black Fridays while visiting family. Honestly, it’s something I really don’t enjoy….too many people! I’ll stick to my computer.

673
Linda November 25, 2011 at 11:07 am

I stopped by a small shopping area and got my husband some shirts at 40% off, but that’s about all the shopping I’ll do today. Too many people make it a waste of time if you don’t have anything big that you’re after.

674
Mary Katharin November 25, 2011 at 11:07 am

Staying away from the stores!

Doing yardwork today as it is a beautiful Friday!

675
CantStopBaking November 25, 2011 at 11:07 am

OMG, I have been lusting after this set for years!! I would love to win this!

676
Jessica November 25, 2011 at 11:08 am

No Black Friday shopping for me! Except for a run to CVS on Thanksgiving morning! :)

677
Cathy E November 25, 2011 at 11:09 am

ooooh gorgeous! Would love to win these. Thanks!!!

678
Patty Jensen November 25, 2011 at 11:09 am

I don’t go out on Black Friday. Tried it once and didn’t like it at all. Would much rather stay at home with family and shop online. I never have to get out of my jammies!!!!

679
Teresa November 25, 2011 at 11:10 am

No black Friday for me this year. The amount of savings does not compromise the crowds of people and craziness! Oh random generator how I hope you choose me. This pots and pans set is amazing, could I be so lucky??

680
Anne November 25, 2011 at 11:10 am

I will be shopping for clothes and Christmas presents latter. Love the deals! Thanks for the chance to win!

681
Leia November 25, 2011 at 11:10 am

I tried the black friday shopping one year, decided it was too much of a madhouse and the stores didn’t even have what I was looking for, even though it was advertised. This year I had to work so I took my son to work with me and my hubby went and did some black friday shopping not at 5am though and it was a little more pleasant and we scored some great wii games and a few clothes for Christmas this year. Thanks for the giveaway.

682
Michelle Rodriguez November 25, 2011 at 11:10 am

I don’t do Black Friday shopping. It’s just too crazy for me.

683
Meaghan November 25, 2011 at 11:11 am

I picked up a ton of great deals on business clothes on black friday!

684
Erin November 25, 2011 at 11:11 am

My thanksgiving is a bit melancholy-I’m spending time with my family because my mom has a brain tumor. My mom loves these pots and pans and has encouraged me to start my own “collection”. So, no, not doing any black friday shopping.

685
AnaFlor November 25, 2011 at 11:12 am

It would be wonderful to win this set. My kitchen would be wonderful!

686
Jan November 25, 2011 at 11:12 am

I never go out on Black Friday! But, I do search internet deals closely!

687
Tracey November 25, 2011 at 11:12 am

I went to Wal-mart last night; never again…. cyber Monday is more my thing.

688
Linda November 25, 2011 at 11:13 am

I am taking my father-in-law to the airport early in the morning so I may stop by the mall for a peek :)
Thanks again for another great giveaway!!!

689
Barb November 25, 2011 at 11:14 am

Went out shopping but not to early….we had success! Thanks for the chance to win.

690
Emily November 25, 2011 at 11:14 am

WOW! Happy Thanksgiving!

691
Brenda November 25, 2011 at 11:14 am

I went shopping with a blue Wii at WalMart to replace the one that just broke NOT EVEN A HOLIDAY PRESENT, was one of the lucky 100 to get one to bring it home and find out that it can not play any of the mat games, balance board etc we already have so I then went to Target tiger the real thing at a discount.

692
Katherine November 25, 2011 at 11:14 am

Hubby and I did decide to go out this year. I fell asleep and he woke me at midnight, lol. We went to Wal-Mart to see what they had (since they opened at 10), got some DVDs and PJs for the kids and a couple of toys that were in the black Friday deal. Then went to Target and got a couple of things. We were laid back and weren’t really going to run over/stomp on or abuse people for things…lol If something was left and it was something we were looking for we grabbed it. Got lucky at both stores when we went to leave, the lines to checkout were completely gone when we were finished. That was nice, since when we came through the door they were wrapped around isles, like one of the lines at an amusement park! :P We also stayed close to the house. Unlike years ago when we used to go – and maybe it’s because the kids are older – but the deals were the same in every store and nothing really caught the eye. Will be roaming around cyber world on Monday :D
Thanks for the chance :)

693
melissa mooy November 25, 2011 at 11:14 am

No Black Friday shopping for me. I spend the morning cleaning up from Thanksgiving and shopping online. Then the kids and I start to get our Christmas decorations out!

694
Jamie Snyder November 25, 2011 at 11:15 am

I have never done Black Friday shopping. I am not a fan of crowds, so this is the perfect Black Friday shopping for me. :) We are very much in need of a new cookware set. :) Thanks for sharing!

695
Michelle November 25, 2011 at 11:16 am

I am not brave enough for black friday! If I were I probably would have tried to get a deal on legs and a play station. We just moved and all of our stuff was lost in transit, so everything is on the list:-)

696
TeraL November 25, 2011 at 11:17 am

Love Black Friday…look for fun gifts for the entire family!

697
Tami November 25, 2011 at 11:17 am

I love the excitement of getting up, getting a Starbucks n hanging with the girls. We always find atleast one great deal!

698
Kelly November 25, 2011 at 11:18 am

I went out at 9 AM for an hour. It was all I could do. The rest I do online but there hasn’t been very good deals this year.

699
Jennifer November 25, 2011 at 11:18 am

I don’t generally shop on Black Friday but I did go to one store today at 9am because I had a Black Friday coupon I couldn’t pass up on a guitar for my daughter.

700
Lesley L November 25, 2011 at 11:19 am

I have never shopped on Black Friday, always had to work! I am at work now! :) It is a ghost town in my office!

701
Brenna M. Graham November 25, 2011 at 11:19 am

I am normally too worn out from the Thanksgiving feast to go out for Black Friday. All of those overzealous shoppers scare me! LOL

702
Tabitha A. November 25, 2011 at 11:20 am

I’m pregnant with twins so decided to avoid the craziness of Black Friday. I did however make sure to look through all the ads and luckily didn’t find anything that was too much of a must have! I might venture out today!

703
Jasmine Polley November 25, 2011 at 11:20 am

So pretty! We’re under contract for a new house… These would match my kitchen perfectly!!

704
Elysia November 25, 2011 at 11:20 am

Got drug to shop by family. Up for 32 hours. Now I’m going back to bed.

705
Amilia @justeverydayme November 25, 2011 at 11:21 am

I’m planning on going out today, hoping to snag a donut pan! This is such a wonderful giveaway!

706
Deana November 25, 2011 at 11:21 am

such a pretty set! We are staying in on Black Friday to get some furniture/craft projects done. We are shopping online though for a new desktop computer, and new camera! Need an upgrade from the first model of the Canon Rebel!!
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

707
Jasmine Polley November 25, 2011 at 11:21 am

We had BAD fog…it was too dangerous to go out and shop! Online was my friend!

708
Aaron Seymour November 25, 2011 at 11:21 am

This year we are all about the online deals. Black Friday at home.
People are getting crazy lately. We don’t want to be a part of that.
Lovin the Holidays!
Aaron

709
Jennifer November 25, 2011 at 11:22 am

I didn’t do Black Friday this year. I think I’ve lost patience with trying to deal with the public. Online ordering for me this year!!!

710
Holly W November 25, 2011 at 11:22 am

Oh my, I need these bad! i just scorched the bottom of my favorite saucepan, and my frying pans have seen better days. pick me!
Personally, I’m not a fan of malls and stores during the holiday season at all. Shopping online is definitely more my style. Can do it in sweats while drinking hot coffee… and not having to wait in lines at all! PERFECT!

711
Nicole November 25, 2011 at 11:24 am

My husband and I generally avoid all Black Friday sales, but last night he went and stood in line for a gift for our boys. I hope he never has to do that again!

712
Sara November 25, 2011 at 11:24 am

I stayed home this year and just enjoyed my family instead of shopping. :)

713
Michelle P November 25, 2011 at 11:24 am

NO BFS for me I like the internet better!!!!!!!!!

714
Donna November 25, 2011 at 11:24 am

I am skipping Black Friday in exchange for Cyber Monday this year. Husbands is off today & my 3 step-kids are out of school. What better time to enjoy my family then today! If I was venturing out, I would want to hit up bed, bath, & beyond….20% off entire store!

715
Shane R. November 25, 2011 at 11:25 am

Sometimes I go out for Black Friday. This year I don’t plan to go out shopping for anything specific but I do want to shop for a little bit. I go out later in the day because even though a lot of the deals are over, it’s so less stressful.

716
Joann Dietrich November 25, 2011 at 11:27 am

I am staying home – no Christmas shopping for me! it’s so much fun not shopping!

717
Kristine Boydstun November 25, 2011 at 11:27 am

What a great giveaway! I love your site!

718
Adrienne Cary November 25, 2011 at 11:27 am

It makes me anxious just thinking about Black Friday….thank goodness for Cyber Monday :)

719
Anne Vogt November 25, 2011 at 11:28 am

I avoided all Black Friday deals outside of my home. :) Now the online black Friday deals, I had to grab just one. I’m not a morning person so the thought of Black Friday getting earlier and earlier is taking the fun out of it for me.

720
Tiffany November 25, 2011 at 11:28 am

I will be doing some shopping, but I’m not getting up early. I have a few items that I’m looking for – some clothes and some DVDs. That’s about it. These pots are beautiful! Thanks for the chance to win them.

721
Vikki November 25, 2011 at 11:30 am

We went out in the crowds, so fun! Bought stuff for our kiddies! =)

722
Dalia November 25, 2011 at 11:31 am

Thank you for hosting this great giveaway Amanda, hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! Black Friday? I try to avoid it, but if I must go out shopping, I wait for the big crowds to die down. I try to buy handmade items online to avoid the crowded stores.

723
jean November 25, 2011 at 11:31 am

i’m trying to go the whole day without buying a single thing as i am aiming to be a little more aware of where my money is going. but we’ll see if i last :D

724
julie November 25, 2011 at 11:31 am

staying home! might do some shopping online though

725
amykirkland November 25, 2011 at 11:31 am

I have to admit, I avoided Black Friday. There just isn’t much that pulls me from my bed at this time of the morning. I did want one item, but only would have saved $20 so it just wasn’t worth it. Maybe next time!!!

726
Gay H. November 25, 2011 at 11:33 am

I don’t go out on Black Friday – the crowds are not worth the few bargains I would get!

727
Maya November 25, 2011 at 11:35 am

I never went shopping on black Friday, but today I’m visiting family in Las Vegas, and planning to go to H&M (since we don’t have it in Miami) hopefully I’ll catch some great deals!!! Happy thanksgiving everyone!

728
Joey sewell November 25, 2011 at 11:35 am

Just got home from black Friday and I am going to sleep. But I finished allmy Christmas shopping

729
Lisa Wolfe November 25, 2011 at 11:35 am

No, I avoid the crowded stores on Black Friday, but do like to check out all the online sales. :)

730
Rachel @ Baked by Rachel November 25, 2011 at 11:35 am

I avoid black Friday shopping (out in public) at all costs! I’d much rather sit at home and watch movies while finding deals online. I’ll gladly pay more to avoid the crowds. BTW I saw this cookware in a magazine the other day and thought omg how pretty! Love the color. :)

731
Paul Y November 25, 2011 at 11:36 am

Black Friday? Nice day here in Denver for a bike ride!

732
AmyJ November 25, 2011 at 11:36 am

I went shopping this morning for a few hours. I found some good deals and the crowds weren’t bad at all.

733
Jaimie November 25, 2011 at 11:37 am

I refuse to leave my house the day after Thanksgiving. I do buy items online though. :0)

734
Veronica Dabbs November 25, 2011 at 11:37 am

This year I didn’t go black Friday shopping in stores in did all my shopping online.

735
Janet S November 25, 2011 at 11:38 am

No shopping for me today, but winning a set of pots would be awesome.

736
Kristin November 25, 2011 at 11:38 am

Working on Black Friday :-( A new pot & pan set is on my shopping list for my Mom…this would be perfect!!!

737
mekei November 25, 2011 at 11:38 am

i like to stay home and shop online! winning would be even better. skeime (at) gmail

738
Emily November 25, 2011 at 11:38 am

Slept in on Black Friday and spent time with the family, but we did venture out to purchase a Black Friday Christmas Tree.

739
Robyn November 25, 2011 at 11:39 am

Left the house this morning at 6; started working at 8. Spent two hours shopping. Nothing exciting, unfortunately.

740
Peggy November 25, 2011 at 11:39 am

I’ll do a little shopping online. No malls today!

741
Jessica November 25, 2011 at 11:39 am

nope no black friday shopping for me! I love a good deal, but to me Black Friday deals do not take into count all of the time you spend waiting to get those deals. With working full time, going to school full time and taking care of 2 sick parents, time is more valuable to me than money.
thanks for another great contest!

742
Gretta November 25, 2011 at 11:39 am

I avoid going out in town for Black Friday shopping but I do look at online deals but only purchase if it is something we really need…not just because it’s a great deal!

743
Carole Fish November 25, 2011 at 11:39 am

This was my very first Black Friday shopping day ! Gorgeous weather and by 9 a.m. crowds weren’t too bad. Got some deals, enjoyed a latte while people watching and may even go again next year!

744
Sarah Kitchens November 25, 2011 at 11:40 am

I have never done the Black Friday shopping thing. Too crazy for me!

745
Mollie November 25, 2011 at 11:42 am

I am not a big fan of crowds, but I do look at the flyers in case there is something that I just cannot pass up :)

746
Jason Boehlke November 25, 2011 at 11:42 am

Headed off to a couple of my absolute favorites, wont be in the madness for long, but have to get out after a day of being cooped up and hear some Christmas music.

747
Rachel C. November 25, 2011 at 11:43 am

I go to the after the crazy crowd black friday sales and i usually stick the low key stores. I hate crowds and long lines!

748
robyn November 25, 2011 at 11:45 am

No Black Friday shopping for me today – have to work! Still time to read one of my favorite (yummy!) blogs tho :)

Thank you for an incredible give-a-way!

749
Diana November 25, 2011 at 11:47 am

I have never gone Black Friday shopping! I almost went this year, but then I decided I liked sleep too much. :] Someday I will go, because I’m pretty sure it’s worth it!

750
Molly G. November 25, 2011 at 11:47 am

I am not doing the whole Black Friday thing. The hubby is working and hitting the stores with 2 lil ones does not sound like a fun idea to me. We’ll be atying home and baking up some granola instead!

751
Kim November 25, 2011 at 11:48 am

Saw the line of tents winding around the local Best Buy on the way to Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Couldn’t think of one reason to skip time with family to camp out in the rain and cold all night. Cyber Monday and lunchtime runs to the mall sound like a much better option!

752
Jane Mykleby November 25, 2011 at 11:48 am

Cyber shopping…no lines, no waiting, all in your PJ’s. Hope I win!

753
Ciara November 25, 2011 at 11:48 am

Black Friday…no thank you! Long lines, crowds, getting up way too early, being shot (happened at a wal-mart today!) is not my idea of fun. I prefer to stay home in my jammies and snuggle up with my babies. :)

754
Greta Bullock November 25, 2011 at 11:48 am

I love to, but with an 11 week old and 3 year old and no babysitter available, it’s just not happening this year! Maybe next year…

755
me and the dogs November 25, 2011 at 11:50 am

I think Americans have gone too far with the midnight start of black Friday..Is it really that important to get stuff ?????

756
Colleen November 25, 2011 at 11:50 am

I have no patience in traffic and crowds, so I prefer to stay home on Black Friday and enjoy my extra day off from work! :)

757
onesimpleway November 25, 2011 at 11:50 am

Oh, I so need this set. I have not gone out shopping this year for 2 reasons. Very limited money and I don’t like the big crowds.

758
Mindy November 25, 2011 at 11:50 am

These pots/pan would look lovely in my kitchen:) Love your blog…your photography is wonderful.

759
Evil Pixie November 25, 2011 at 11:50 am

No Black Friday for me. I prefer to shop online. It keeps my budget in check, and I don’t have to deal with the insanity in the stores.

760
jenny November 25, 2011 at 11:50 am

i USED to shop black friday, but my mom passed away and my sister moved off. so i have no motivation…but i am in DESPERATE need of this awesome cookware set!!!!! :)

761
Breanna November 25, 2011 at 11:51 am

I went with my mom @ 6 this morning so the rush was pretty much over. She had her list of what she wanted to get at each store…I just went along for the ride pretty much.

762
Stacey November 25, 2011 at 11:52 am

We shopped for about 4 hours starting at midnight on Friday then we came home, took a short nap, and are getting ready to go out again.

763
Shelly K. November 25, 2011 at 11:54 am

I had to work on Black Friday and I really didn’t see anything I couldn’t live without. But I can’t live without this set of pans so I hope I win! Thanks!

764
Wendy A. November 25, 2011 at 11:55 am

HATE crowds so no do all my shopping on line or gift cards. WOULD LOVE, to have that set:)

765
Heather Johnson November 25, 2011 at 11:55 am

I am not a black Friday shopper….I actually sent my sister with a list of a few things I wanted (if she happened to see them in her travels). Other than that, I am getting ready for a Thanksgiving Part 2 with the inlaws tomorrow and we are decorating and getting a Christmas tree tomorrow!

766
Jennifer November 25, 2011 at 11:55 am

Stores opened so early I didn’t even go to bed! I had a battle for cook wear! :) Someone was trying to take them out of my hands! I also went head first into a box, so one of my loved ones will get a box with my head print in it!

767
Ingrid Urena November 25, 2011 at 11:56 am

Black friday? Not this year, even though we went scouting all the deals worth making lines for, but nothing we really really needed/wanted. Se still have hope for cybermonday! But its like a tradition, we have the turkey, we gotta shop!

768
Marcia Behr November 25, 2011 at 11:57 am

I love lounging around the house all day and eating leftovers.

769
Lauren November 25, 2011 at 11:58 am

I went to my first Black Friday last night and it was freezing! Sniped a nice pair of heels.

770
Simon T November 25, 2011 at 11:59 am

I’m picking up a (used) TV and a new vacuum. I’m hoping to avoid the craziness.

771
Michelle R. November 25, 2011 at 12:01 pm

We are staying home and going shopping on Sunday.

772
Tiffany November 25, 2011 at 12:01 pm

Now I know why I don’t shop on black Friday! Too much fighting! Hate it when your town makes the news!

773
Tamara November 25, 2011 at 12:01 pm

HI Amanda,

Hope you and your Family had an awesome Thanksgiving!! I avoid Black Friday in stores and only shop online!! Too many years working retail!!!! lol thanks so much for the chance to win!! I so need Pots and Pans!!!!!!!!!!

Tamara

774
Judith November 25, 2011 at 12:01 pm

Please pick me. I never win anything.

775
Misty Sutton November 25, 2011 at 12:01 pm

Avoided like the plague! My sister in law and I went to Target last year for a TV for my mom. We got there at 2am, pouring rain, and the store opened at 4. We didn’t even come close to getting a TV and I was so miserable! This year I did almost all of my shopping online (mostly on Etsy!) and was pretty much done before Thanksgiving!

776
Lynn J November 25, 2011 at 12:01 pm

I have been a faithful Black Friday shopper for years. Unfortunately, physical issues have caused me to stay at home this year. Thank goodness for on-line shopping! I have been able to purchase some good deals this year from the comfort of my own studio chair! = )

777
Jen C November 25, 2011 at 12:02 pm

No Black Friday shopping for me this year. Instead, I’ll be spending some family time with my husband and toddler daughter. We’re looking forward to some unrushed time together and we’re planning on taking my daughter to a nearby farm to go on a pony for the 1st time ever. Way better than Black Friday shopping!

778
yuki November 25, 2011 at 12:04 pm

OMGOMG, trying to score a Samsung Galaxy Tab but can’t even log onto the site!! Black Friday brings pretty cool deals but I can’t imagine what it’s like at the stores…

779
Deron November 25, 2011 at 12:05 pm

Love to go out early and see what I can score. The thrill is in the hunt for bargains!

780
Liz November 25, 2011 at 12:05 pm

We tried to go out to Walmart last night at 10PM but the parking lot was beyond full and people were parking blocks and blocks away and walking over…so we drove home. We went out to Sam’s at 5 AM and got right in. Afterwards we went to Walmart, which by now is empty, and we got nearly everything we wanted anyway! Worked out perfectly!

781
Diane November 25, 2011 at 12:06 pm

I avoid Black Friday shopping at all costs!! I like to spend the day getting started on my decorating!! I would love to win the new sets of pots and pans…old ones could go to the cabin!!

782
Sharon November 25, 2011 at 12:08 pm

I avoid it and instead, go get my tree!

783
Abby November 25, 2011 at 12:09 pm

We went out at 9:00 p.m. to Walmart and Target, slept for 4 hours and went out again at 7:00 a.m! We got the TV we were hoping for though, so it was all worth it!

784
Carri November 25, 2011 at 12:09 pm

I avoid Black Friday shopping and instead spend the day catching up with family and friends and making delicous new meals with leftovers!

785
Amanda Boerst November 25, 2011 at 12:10 pm

I’m not a fan of shopping in huge crazy crowds so I stay home and shop online :o)

786
Ashley Allred November 25, 2011 at 12:11 pm

I LOVE BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING! I started my shopping at midnight at my friend’s little boutique that she owns and then made my way over to the local shopping mall. I was literally up all night, but I got all of my Christmas shopping done in one swoop! Although there was a ton of people out, I was able to use some great coupons and score some amazing deals! So excited, now it’s time for some leftovers and some good sleep! NITE NITE!!! :)

787
Ashley Allred November 25, 2011 at 12:22 pm

Plus I got a Dippin Dots Ice Cream maker at the toy store (I’m probably more excited about it than anyone else ;)). Super thankful for everyone in my life and this year is going to be the best yet! XoXo

788
Jodi November 25, 2011 at 12:11 pm

I’ve done black Friday shopping in the past but I’ve turned to online only shopping recently. I love shopping from home!

789
sonia November 25, 2011 at 12:12 pm

I’m working on Black Friday…boo!!! haha

790
Christine November 25, 2011 at 12:12 pm

I am staying away from the crowds as I would rather shop online and catch up on all my favorite bloggers. Love yours & all your great tips. Thanks.

791
Terri November 25, 2011 at 12:13 pm

I shopped my fave store, Anthro in my jammies! They had a 75% off sale online. It was fabulous, don’t know why I had not thought of this earlier

792
Sheri November 25, 2011 at 12:14 pm

I will be going out in just a bit, but I still have not clue what the heck I’m shopping for. I just love the hustle and bustle! :)

793
Sara J November 25, 2011 at 12:14 pm

There is no way you could convince me to give up a day off of work to fight the crowds and shop!

794
Joanne Cabling November 25, 2011 at 12:15 pm

I use to go to black friday sales. But now I don’t. For my family members who do, I’ll help them out by giving them food to take with them or even visit them in line and drop food and mittens off.

795
Kel November 25, 2011 at 12:15 pm

We are not going out – we are on vacation — so far today we have walked the beach twice! thanks.

796
Katie November 25, 2011 at 12:15 pm

Last year we Black Friday shopped for 12 straight hours. This year I am relaxing at home and perusing the sales online!!

797
Kimberly November 25, 2011 at 12:16 pm

My friend and I started waiting in the mall parking lot at 10pm last night and stayed out till 3am. We don’t even buy anything usually [check out lines are ridiculous] but we go for the experience… and to people watch. ;)

798
Morgan M November 25, 2011 at 12:16 pm

I opted out of Black Friday this year. I did it last year, for the first time, and 12 long hours later, 7 stores under my belt, I fell in to bed more exhausted then I think I have ever been! No Black Friday for me this year, just a warm bed and NO alarm clock!

799
tricia November 25, 2011 at 12:16 pm

I do my shopping online as much as possible.

800
Margaret November 25, 2011 at 12:16 pm

Working today but will prob give Toys R Us a visit or maybe Tarjay

801
Jackie November 25, 2011 at 12:17 pm

I stay home!

802
The Mrs @ Success Along the Weigh November 25, 2011 at 12:18 pm

What a wonderful giveaway! Thanks Amanda!

803
Lyn November 25, 2011 at 12:18 pm

some years we shop; this year we’re driving 3 hours to Indianapolis to watch Mater Dei High School play football for the state title!!! Go Cats!!!

804
Kim November 25, 2011 at 12:18 pm

Completely slept through any early bird sales:) but I did drive past a ridiculously long line at best buy (tents and all) at 8 last nuggt

805
Chris Thompson November 25, 2011 at 12:19 pm

Staying away from the stores! Surfing the net, need to make a list!

806
Suzanne November 25, 2011 at 12:19 pm

I haven’t done Black Friday in years–I’m more of a Cyber Monday type now! I love the beautiful bronze color of the cookware! Thanks for the neat giveaway.

807
LaWanda November 25, 2011 at 12:20 pm

No Black Friday shopping for me; I am too old. Never mind that it can be dangerous. I much prefer to do my shopping on-line.

808
Jyrita Pixley November 25, 2011 at 12:20 pm

Did not have the desire to go out for Black Friday shopping. Previous years proved that the freezing cold, aching feet, long lines and not so amazing deals
were not worth it. I love online shopping while sitting by my cozy fire.

809
Sarah November 25, 2011 at 12:21 pm

Went to Fred Meyers for our annual stocking of socks this morning and got a portable dvd player for our Christmas travels. I was even able to sneak back into bed when I got home and rest for a bit longer :-).

810
Jessica November 25, 2011 at 12:22 pm

I went black Friday shopping at midnight and am dragging! Would love these pots and pans. :)

811
Sharon November 25, 2011 at 12:23 pm

I am working on Black Friday:( Thats okay, b/c I finished all my shopping before Thanksgiving!

812
Laura Smith November 25, 2011 at 12:23 pm

The only Black Friday shopping I do is online!

813
Nancy T. November 25, 2011 at 12:23 pm

we’re going out Friday afternoon to do a little shopping, nothing major though

814
Joy November 25, 2011 at 12:23 pm

I went out today to Anthropologie, since they were offering 50% off clearance items…unheard of! The line ended up being so long that I just went on my phone and got them items I wanted online. :)

815
Ruth Berry November 25, 2011 at 12:23 pm

I don’t like shopping in crowds, so I’m avoiding Black Friday! I do love to shop online though!

816
Stacey November 25, 2011 at 12:24 pm

I stay away from everything Black Friday. I stay home and put up my tree. I enjoy decorating rather than spending money.

817
Leigh November 25, 2011 at 12:24 pm

I braved the madness lastnight at Wal-Mart (since it is the only place we have in town to shop) and I am seriously considering not going next year! It was insane and people were too rude! Thanks for the chance to win.

818
Heather H. November 25, 2011 at 12:24 pm

I made my way to walmart last night to check out the crowds! This morning my husband had to be at work at 5am, so after dropping him off, I ran over to Big Lots and Target.

Black Friday could be more fun if I had more money to spend. But its great to find a few deals within my budget.

819
Kelly November 25, 2011 at 12:24 pm

I detest crowds, thus, no Black Friday shopping for me. I would rather snuggle at home with my family.

820
Shelly November 25, 2011 at 12:24 pm

We went to Walmart and target at midnight last night and were done by 2:30. I refuse to get up early and wait in line. Too much a night owl so midnight shopping doesn’t bother me in the slightest. We are almost done shopping!

821
Emily November 25, 2011 at 12:24 pm

I stayed in and did a little online shopping! It’s too cold to brave the crowds!

822
Angela Barnes November 25, 2011 at 12:25 pm

I am anti-Black Friday. I’m working and am glad I don’t have to deal with the angry mob of deal-finders who lack sleep. More power to those who wait in line, but I’m sleeping in and enjoying my quiet day at work!

823
Amy D November 25, 2011 at 12:25 pm

I avoid Black Friday at all costs. But, I am feeling a little adventurous this afternoon. We’ll see what happens.

824
Vanessa Rae November 25, 2011 at 12:26 pm

I wish I could say I was shopping today, but through our difficult financial circumstances God is teaching me to live simply. And I’m okay with that. Happy shopping folks-I’ll live vicariously through you!

825
Alexis November 25, 2011 at 12:27 pm

No Black Friday shopping here. I’ve gone a couple of times and scored some great deals, no doubt about that, but I value a few things and would gladly pay a few extra dollars for the items on my holiday list just to keep them: 1. sweet precious sleep, oh how I love thee! 2. stress free, no-worrying-about-someone-shoving-you to-the-ground-then-trampling-you shopping and C. not waiting in ridiculously, hellish want-to-hang-yourself-by-a-belt lines. (I kind of vehemently hate waiting in lines.) So I’m staying home. Great give away, thank you! I sure could use pots and pans, like REALLY use them, I only have two. =/ Here’s to winning! Happy Thanksgiving!

826
Denise November 25, 2011 at 12:28 pm

I don’t even look at the ads, don’t want to be tempted. My kids though, love a good deal!

827
Sophia November 25, 2011 at 12:29 pm

I went out looking for the LeapFrog Leap Pad!!!

828
Toni C November 25, 2011 at 12:29 pm

I wasn’t going to go out today but the allure of 80% off storage units at Michael’s was just too much of a draw. We’re getting ready to homeschool our younger daughter so getting myself organized was the perfect way to start!

Thanks for the giveaway! Hope you are enjoying a wonderful, long Thanksgiving weekend with those you love.

829
Lindsey November 25, 2011 at 12:30 pm

I didn’t leave my house today for Black Friday shopping. Instead I slept in til 10 and have been lounging around the house ever since. This is truly what black Friday was meant for :)

830
Stacy H November 25, 2011 at 12:31 pm

No Black Friday shopping here…sometimes I think dealing with all the craziness of Black Friday would be a lot easier than dealing with the craziness of my family! LOL!

831
Shirley November 25, 2011 at 12:31 pm

I shopped online until 1 am this morning! That’s my kind of black friday shopping!!
Hugs,
Shirley

832
Melody November 25, 2011 at 12:35 pm

I usually avoid it but last night I went with my teenagers to Walmart -we just wanted to see the madness. No deals for us. We went 30 minutes to late. But I would love to win this cookware!!!

833
Debi November 25, 2011 at 12:36 pm

No Black Friday shopping for me. But I sure would love these pans!

834
Debi November 25, 2011 at 12:37 pm

NO Black Friday Shopping for me. But I sure would love this set!

835
Kiriel November 25, 2011 at 12:37 pm

Having worked retail, I avoid shopping on Black Friday! Plus, did anyone else see the articles about people getting robbed and pepper sprayed and all that?!!! Holy cow! I’m excited for this giveaway though! My mom has been eying a set of these every time she sees them, so pick me! LOL! Have a great day everyone! Stay safe!

836
Helen Boivin November 25, 2011 at 12:39 pm

My Black Friday shopping days are behind me. I’m sitting on the sofa with a cup of coffee and enjoying the solitude.

837
Veronica P. November 25, 2011 at 12:40 pm

Thank God for the internet. I do 90% of my shopping online. No way would you catch me out in the stores on Black Friday. It’s a zoo out there. Rude people, short tempers and stressed out checkout people do not mix well with me. Internet shopping here I come.

838
Nithya November 25, 2011 at 12:42 pm

Nope! I wish though. I’ve never gone; the crowds seem too much, and I had the fortune to get sick this Thanksgiving! :P I know for sure all my friends are going back friday shopping though :)

839
Cherie Kahmann November 25, 2011 at 12:42 pm

I couldn’t go this year, I had my two tots in tow and couldn’t imagine trying it with them.

840
Charlene November 25, 2011 at 12:42 pm

I stayed home and crafted while my husband took the teenagers Christmas shopping, a holiday tradition! P.S. I love Calphalon!

841
Cassie November 25, 2011 at 12:43 pm

I do plan on shopping today but not until just a little bit later. Hoping to miss some of the crowd!

842
Rebecca K November 25, 2011 at 12:43 pm

I did my black Friday shopping online!

843
Carrie B November 25, 2011 at 12:43 pm

For years, our family tradition was to start the Christmas spirit by setting up our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. Listening to carols and watching our boys fight over what ornament to put on the tree and where. Black Friday is and has always seemed to me as a tradition for retailers. I understand that there are really GREAT deals on some items but the crowds waiting outside for hours, away from family, and then fighting for the last item on the shelves seems like anything but the spirit of true Christmas. I’ll take our family tradition over the consumer-driven tradition anyday. :)

Stephanie M November 25, 2011 at 12:43 pm

We went to Target when they opened at midnight and I can say it was the first time I’ve done the whole black Friday thing and I can also say it is the last :-)

845
Meghan November 25, 2011 at 12:44 pm

No black friday shopping for me! I’d rather wait for cyber monday and get the deals from the comfort of my own home… away from the crazies!

846
Sher November 25, 2011 at 12:45 pm

We tended our grandchildren while our son and daughter-in-law went shopping, starting at 10 pm. They shopped till 3 am, then went back out at 5:30 am. Got some really good deals.
I LOVE to cook and it would be inhanced by some good cookware. Thanks for the opportunity to win such high quality cookware! You rock.

847
Heather Stokes November 25, 2011 at 12:45 pm

Ohhhhhhhh – I have been using the same pans for years – this would be WONDERFUL. Black Friday is a MYSTERY to me. Why would anyone put themselves through that to save a few bucks? Cyber Monday is the way to go.

848
Christy November 25, 2011 at 12:46 pm

I have done some shopping online but I went to Kohl’s last night and waited in line for them to open at midnight. I had my eye on a pair of boots :)

849
Chris Bennett November 25, 2011 at 12:48 pm

Went out @ midnight ………CRAZY!!!! came home and went out about 10 am and still got the things I wanted!! Amanda – I follow your adventures with Jenny Flake- used to work with her- she is awesome!!

850
Rose November 25, 2011 at 12:49 pm

I was not a successful Black Friday shopper today! Got up at 4a.m., but not in time to get what I went for!

851
Emily November 25, 2011 at 12:49 pm

I refuse to even leave the house for Black Friday… That’s what the Internet is for. Plus, I’m a poor sailor.

852
SalBug November 25, 2011 at 12:50 pm

I do most of my shopping on online these days in the comfort of my own home. Right now my husband and I have our dueling laptops out and are shopping like crazy!

853
Jodie P. November 25, 2011 at 12:51 pm

Hello,

Went shopping at Target to get our daughter a new pingpong table for Christmas!! Crazy crowds but well worth the price…hope she loves it!!!

854
Linda November 25, 2011 at 12:52 pm

I did go shopping. I only got up at 5:30 and I managed to get everything on my wish list.

855

I shop online to avoid the crowds…much easier!

856
Andrea Watts November 25, 2011 at 12:54 pm

857
Allen Krueger November 25, 2011 at 12:55 pm

My wife and I have been up since 5:30 this morning shopping on Black Friday. It was pretty cool, people were friendly and we finished most of our shopping. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

858
Elyse S November 25, 2011 at 12:56 pm

Online shopping this year! Yay for no crowds! :)

859
Brittni Austin November 25, 2011 at 12:56 pm

I never shop for Black Friday but I did go out last night to score a good deal on a new pre-lit Christmas tree! I can’t wait to decorate it.

860
julie November 25, 2011 at 12:56 pm

I’m going to take advantage of some online sales and possibly visit my local yarn shop for their sale.

861
Michelle November 25, 2011 at 12:58 pm

Only went out on Black Friday at 10am for a drill for my husband. I won’t venture out again till Sunday. Too many crazy people!

Love black Friday! Love the excitement and thrill of the day. This year, I’m hoping for a chunky gold watch…I think the look is hot!

864
Piper Largent November 25, 2011 at 12:58 pm

I am a stay home and sleep late after all the cooking and eating the day before. Shopping can begin on Saturday.

865
Erin L. November 25, 2011 at 12:59 pm

I try to avoid the lines and go later in the day. Still good deals.

866
shay November 25, 2011 at 1:01 pm

I love to shop just not on BF. I’m home, warm and indulging in leftovers.

867
Betsy Pratt November 25, 2011 at 1:01 pm

I have always avoided Black Friday like the plague! I started Internet shopping in about 1995 when stores were just coming online, and also catalog shopped quite a bit. Then closer to Christmas I would end up going out a couple of times to finish my lists.
Thanks for holding the giveaway and thanks to Calphalon for providing the prize!
Betsy

868
Lorraine C November 25, 2011 at 1:03 pm

Not going to join the mass consumers at the stores. Just going to relax, sip my hot chai and decorate the house for Christmas!!!

869
Karen November 25, 2011 at 1:04 pm

I haven’t went Black Friday shopping in years!! After reading the local paper this morning about some of the things that happened this year, it makes me even more thankful that I stayed at home again this year.

870
Karen Seltrecht November 25, 2011 at 1:04 pm

I don’t venture out on Black Friday. It scares me :) I do check out the online deals. I lost my Blackberry and have to replace that so guess I won’t be spending much $$ for anything else. (that’s the only “black” I’ll be doing) Not a good thing at Christmas time.
My grandaughters get up during the wee hours and away they go. Because they live out of town, my house is the place where they take breaks. It’s a riot to listen to them talk about how other people act, i wonder….how do they behave or not?
Love your blog! Karen

871
Kim November 25, 2011 at 1:05 pm

I bought something online–I can’t handle the crowds! It’s nice to be home with my family today!

872
April V November 25, 2011 at 1:06 pm

I would LOVE to do Black Friday shopping, but I never seem to have the money to! There’s some really good deals I’ve seen!

873
Brittany K November 25, 2011 at 1:06 pm

I prefer to do my Black Friday shopping online while wearing my P.J.’s. Unfortunately I do have to go to the grocery store today. Hoping it’s not too crowded. :)

874
Ashley H. November 25, 2011 at 1:06 pm

I am staying home on black Friday.

875
Jen November 25, 2011 at 1:07 pm

I went with my Mom around 9:00…most of the crowds were cleared out, and still picked up the couple things I wanted!

876
Kayle (The Cooking Actress) November 25, 2011 at 1:07 pm

I did not go Black Friday Shopping today-in NYC it’s just too crazy! Growing up in Ohio, though, I used to do some mild Black Friday shopping with my Mom and sometimes Grandma-we usually would hit stores around 10 or 11-because there are a good amount of before noon sales, but it’s not as crazy as the 5 AM crazy sales! My mom on the other hand totally would go to those, I think that’s how I was able to have Christmas growing up :P

877
Taylor November 25, 2011 at 1:09 pm

Black Friday shopping? No. Way. Black Friday is for laying around and digesting yesterdays food overload while snacking on leftovers! Throw some college football in there and it’s the perfect lazy day!

878
Veronica November 25, 2011 at 1:09 pm

I’m spending my Black Friday working :(.

879
Kristin S November 25, 2011 at 1:11 pm

Oooooo, this is a fun one! My pots were a college graduation present in 1993. They are ready for retirement.

I went to bed at 9 and got up at 4. Hit Chick fil A for a CF fundraiser, then Target, Old Navy, B&BW, and Walmart. All pretty empty and dreamy! I wasn’t looking for a TV so I didn’t need to be anywhere at midnight. It was pretty fun! Eating a second breakfast at 9am was even more fun.

880
Ruthie Bogoly November 25, 2011 at 1:11 pm

We went to Kohls at midnight and it took longer to check out than it did to shop!

881
Larni November 25, 2011 at 1:12 pm

We have our Thanksgiving turkey dinner on Black Friday.

882
steve h. November 25, 2011 at 1:14 pm

883
Celia D. November 25, 2011 at 1:15 pm

I avoid black friday, personally it seems to stressful.

884
L.S. November 25, 2011 at 1:16 pm

I got up at 4:30am and headed to a newly opened Panera Bread in between my house and work (yes, I have to work on Black Friday). As a grand opening special, they were handing out $20 gift cards to the first 200 customers. Apparently getting there 10 minutes before 5am was still too late, the line of people outside was very long, definitely more than 200! So I left and went to Radio Shack to wait for it to open at 5:30, got an iPad 2 case and an iPhone 4 case. Got out and was starving by then, so I stopped by IHOP and got breakfast and now I’m at work!

885
Shelly November 25, 2011 at 1:17 pm

Slept in til Noon!!

886
Faith November 25, 2011 at 1:18 pm

889
Belladatura November 25, 2011 at 1:22 pm

Noooo, no, no, no, no, no. Can’t make me shop today or at any time this weekend. Shopping via teh interwebs is the only way to go.

890
JennStar November 25, 2011 at 1:23 pm

I went out to Target- but after all the die-hards were already gone! Just had a few things to get and they were all still there!

891
Diane Loviza November 25, 2011 at 1:24 pm

Why, why, WHY did I do it??? Because I knew that if I went to WalMart Thursday night, I’d be able to get more toys for my money and I was shopping for Toys for Tots. The parking lot was insane, but there were lots of salespeople there to help you find things and the other customers were very nice. Do I want to do it again? NO…but it definitely provides a service for those whose wallets are being stretched too far in this day and age. Happy Holidays!

892
Laura D November 25, 2011 at 1:24 pm

We were out at midnight till around 3, then we slept in this morning. I didn’t get much, but just enjoyed the hussle and bussle with my husband.

893
Miamnai November 25, 2011 at 1:24 pm

We did go shopping for Black Friday. We finished shopping three hours ago. We bought two new phones and some more kitchen equipments.

894
SewLindaAnn November 25, 2011 at 1:26 pm

This year instead of 4 a.m. Best Buy opened at Midnight – which killed it for me! Some people were waiting for days. I went last year and got a great t.v. and wanted one for my living room, but it will have to wait. Today I woke at a reasonable hour and spent my stash on a amazing fabric sale at my LQS!

895
brillke November 25, 2011 at 1:26 pm

I stayed home. I used to go shopping on Black Friday but I’m too old now, lol.

896
Megan Evans November 25, 2011 at 1:29 pm

I’m making gifts this year! No shopping for me!

897
Mary Gyuriseck November 25, 2011 at 1:30 pm

I am not going shopping on black friday. All of my X-mas shopping is done is except for 1 more present for each of my 4 children. All 7 grandkids are done. Looking for cookware for my kids. Will do it on line Monday.

898
Amanda November 25, 2011 at 1:31 pm

I am overly prepared for Christmas and have all my shopping done. Besides my husband’s gift, but seriously- I bought him a boat for his birthday (a serious take-out-a-loan boat) so that should last for every holiday this year, right? That being said- shopping online is way to easy to ever venture out and fight crowds!

899
Holly Schaeffer November 25, 2011 at 1:31 pm

Im not sure if Black Friday will ever be worth saving 50 bucks.

900
Erin Kokinda November 25, 2011 at 1:32 pm

I need new pans really bad!! I stayed away this year from black Friday. I usually don’t go out anyways, unless there is a super deal on something that I have been looking for. Nothing this year though.

901
Kathy November 25, 2011 at 1:32 pm

Hit Kohls at 12 midnight!!! Shopped at a variety of places then home by 5:30 a.m. A quick nap and time to decorate!!! I am a night owl!! Thanks for the giveaways and great recipes. We are in Calhoun County, Alabama so it’s nice to hear from you…WAR EAGLE…we can dream!!!!!

902
betsy November 25, 2011 at 1:33 pm

No Black Friday shopping for me. Instead, I’m at home, cooking & cleaning for my 2nd Friendsgiving dinner of the holiday weekend :)

903
Luann Player November 25, 2011 at 1:36 pm

I did not go shopping this Black Friday since we just moved back to the USA after a year overseas….instead we did family photos today! :)

904
Marie in Va November 25, 2011 at 1:38 pm

We went out last night at midnight and the crowds/lines were crazy! Decided to go home and try again today. Ended up getting what I wanted at the store for the same price! Trying to do the rest online!
These pots and pans would be awesome! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

905
Brenda Hinson November 25, 2011 at 1:38 pm

I dont plan to do black Friday shopping. Too crazy out there for me.

906
Heather Spooner November 25, 2011 at 1:41 pm

I’m too chicken to brave the crowds on Black Friday. Even in my very small town, people lose their minds over flat screen TVs. Crazy!

907
Ana November 25, 2011 at 1:42 pm

We went out later, like 10:00 am, but still got the deals we cared about. $10 Harry Potter 7.2 Blu-ray, and a few others for good measure. All in all a good shopping trip AND we got to sleep-in. :) Now if we could have found a deal like these pots and pans it would be amazing because our last nonstick pan went the way of the curb when it started flaking last week…

908
Liliana Rodriguez November 25, 2011 at 1:42 pm

I went to the Mall at 4 am, plenty of stores were open and I found quite a few deals on things I didn’t even know I need it. Love black Friday!

909
Lauren Sears November 25, 2011 at 1:43 pm

I normally try to avoid black Friday shopping but this year my friend and I braved the chaos to find the perfect gifts for loved ones…and buy a new tv for our house since ours is outdated and still has a built in VHS player

910
Adrianne Everhart November 25, 2011 at 1:46 pm

I typically do not participate in Black Friday because I am too tired from cooking the Thanksgiving meal and clean up. I didn’t cook this year because of recent knee replacement surgery – just not healed enough to stand for hours cooking so I got a break. Unfortunately, that also means I can’t be on my feet shopping for very long either! I would love to win the Calphalon cookware – what an awesome giveaway. Pick me, pick me (please :)

911
Debra November 25, 2011 at 1:46 pm

Oh…my…how I could use this. :) Would love to have a set of matching cookware.

I’m afraid I do not contribute to the economy on black Friday. I do not have the patience to fight the traffic or people.

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!

912
Jenna November 25, 2011 at 1:46 pm

I hate the chaos of Black Friday shopping, but I always go out. It’s a great time to start Christmas shopping!

913
Laurie Ann Noel November 25, 2011 at 1:46 pm

I just made a quick trip up to Crossroads on Highway 72 for some Toms (shoes) at 25% off — I also scored a scarf and a purse — I am avoiding malls (Bridge Street) but plan on taking a weekday trip down to the Summit in Birmingham.

914
MelindaB November 25, 2011 at 1:46 pm

Not going out anywhere but I just shopping for the Silhouette on-line!

915
Francesca Watson November 25, 2011 at 1:48 pm

I never, ever, ever participate in Black Friday. The very idea makes me shudder!! I am happy to stay snuggled up at home in a post-Thanksgiving stupor and watch old movies on TV with my hubby.

916
Melinda T November 25, 2011 at 1:49 pm

I’m not doing Black Friday shopping this year! Its too cold and crazy! I’ll be shopping online, though! Thanks for the chance, I need some new cookware!

917
Melissa P. @Mel4Him November 25, 2011 at 1:49 pm

Nope, no black Friday shopping for me. I would rather shop when it is less crazy. Plus I found so great deals online and I didn’t have to leave my house or deal with a bunch of nuts-0-people. Spending time with my family was much more important than material things. : )

918
Don Pringle November 25, 2011 at 1:49 pm

I drove past the mall last night, just seeing the parking lot full is enough to make me avoid it. Shopping online is so much easier.

919
Kristina November 25, 2011 at 1:49 pm

I avoid Black Friday like the Black Plague and I do most of my shopping early and year round.

920
Heidi Harris November 25, 2011 at 1:50 pm

I want these pots!!!!!!!!!!!

921
Michelle @ A Voracious Appetite November 25, 2011 at 1:51 pm

I LOVE black Friday! I always go out and get so much stuff. This year I scored a bunch of clothes from Express and some great candles from Bath & Body Works. So much fun!

922
Heidi November 25, 2011 at 1:53 pm

I went out shopping this morning and picked up some basics at the Gap and did a bit of holiday shopping for others.

923
Amanda November 25, 2011 at 1:53 pm

ACK! No way! I enjoy shopping and love getting a good deal on things but Black Friday sounds horrible!!

924
Jen Friesz November 25, 2011 at 1:55 pm

Even as a Canadian I LOVE Black Friday Shopping!! We don’t have anything like it up here in Calgary, Alberta so I do all my shopping online… I was up this morning at 1am to score some AWESOME deals for christmas gift for my family. Amanda, I’d love to top off my great deals with a Christmas gift for myself… maybe some Calphalon cookwear!!

925
Courtney Carlson November 25, 2011 at 1:56 pm

odds are i’ll win one of your contests sometime….heart me. i would love to win

926
Debi Day November 25, 2011 at 1:56 pm

Can’t stand the crowds, so I have to win on your website!!!!

927
Morgan Day November 25, 2011 at 1:57 pm

WOW! I could give this to my mom instead of fighting the crowds….

928
Amanda Hansen November 25, 2011 at 1:58 pm

I had every intention of going out Black Friday shopping, but when I drove past the stores and saw how chaotic they were, I said forget this and went home and ate half of a pumpkin pie instead :)

929
Brittany wilkinson November 25, 2011 at 1:58 pm

OH! I needs pans so badly!!!! I feel like a winner….

930

I don’t do Black Friday shopping the traditional way…this year I’m shopping online and getting some great deals!

932
Susan T November 25, 2011 at 2:02 pm

I’m doing some online shopping only. No way will I go out and get into the craziness in the stores!

933
Emily G. November 25, 2011 at 2:03 pm

Black Friday scares me…. So I do everything online!!!!

934
Celeste November 25, 2011 at 2:03 pm

I do *online* Black Friday shopping!

935
megan November 25, 2011 at 2:04 pm

I am spending Black Friday with family (mainly my grandparents). We do not plan to go anywhere near a store and will instead watch the news about everyone else shopping! I do most of my shopping online, so I don’t pay much attention to Black Friday deals.

936
Jane Bentley November 25, 2011 at 2:04 pm

I want this cookware! No Black Friday shopping except online!

937
adelita November 25, 2011 at 2:05 pm

This is the first black friday in about 10 years that I wasn’t up standing in line by 4am (I had my first baby this past April). But when she got up after her morning nap, we headed to Target and scored a new crockpot and hand mixer!

938
Jess November 25, 2011 at 2:06 pm

I didn’t go Black Friday shopping because my family decided it wasn’t worth getting up really early to wait in long lines. We’ll get our Christmas presents later. :)

939
Barb November 25, 2011 at 2:07 pm

I love Calphalon pans! I bought stuff on the internet and went out on Black Friday AFTER all the crazy people went back home! LOL

940
Yvonme November 25, 2011 at 2:10 pm

My husband and I are camping so no Black Friday crowds for me!

941
Connie November 25, 2011 at 2:11 pm

I would love to go shopping on black friday, however, money doesn’t permit that right now so i’m sitting at home pouting…

942
Emily November 25, 2011 at 2:11 pm

avoided almost all of it – went out to get my car fixed and then some online shopping!

943
adie November 25, 2011 at 2:11 pm

Unfortunately I got stuck working for Black Friday. It really bites but I am broke anyways lol!

944
Danielle November 25, 2011 at 2:12 pm

Just enjoying family today!

945
Meghan November 25, 2011 at 2:12 pm

I absolutely avoid it, but I get some great deals online shopping.

946
Teri November 25, 2011 at 2:14 pm

Nothing is worth fighting the crowds for just to save a couple of dollars! Great give away!

947
Debbie November 25, 2011 at 2:14 pm

My girls went out last night but this morning we are having a lazy day getting ready to start Christmas decorating.

948
Brian November 25, 2011 at 2:15 pm

I avoid the crowds and enjoy the online shopping.

949
Denise November 25, 2011 at 2:17 pm

Had most of my shopping done…. I avoid Black Friday shopping a all costs!!!

950
Sierra Hess November 25, 2011 at 2:20 pm

I went at midnight last night to hit the sales! Way fun to do with my sis-in-law and my mom-in-law! It’s more about having fun with each other while searching for bargains!

951
heidi November 25, 2011 at 2:20 pm

I could really use this!! black friday shopping will be done on line for me!!

952
jules p November 25, 2011 at 2:22 pm

I am going to do my Black friday shopping on-line. It just seems easier!

953
Fernie November 25, 2011 at 2:23 pm

Had to work.. no shopping but going for a massage

954
Diane Hillas November 25, 2011 at 2:23 pm

I find the best deals are on Cyber Monday (online) and on the 21st and 22nd of December either in stores or online. Some websites offer free upgraded shipping to ensure arrival at the very last minute with great prices on merchandise that often beats Black Friday. Black Friday is a rip off as stores will have only a tiny handful of items advertised at rock bottom prices at each location. Best gift- give a gift card and shop January clearance sales!

955
Rachel November 25, 2011 at 2:24 pm

This year was the 19th year I’ve gone with my mom. I didn’t see any deals I couldn’t live without this year, but did have a blast with my mom!

956
Lissa November 25, 2011 at 2:27 pm

I went out for Christmas outfits for the kids, but that’s it. There’s lots of good deals throughout the season, so I’m recovering from hosting Thanksgiving instead.

957
janet tobler November 25, 2011 at 2:29 pm

i would make some applesauce and pancakes in my new pots and pans

958
Paula B. November 25, 2011 at 2:30 pm

“Avoid like the plague” describes how I roll on B.F. And, I usually like shopping, it’s the crowds and the frenzied atmosphere that I don’t like. Trying to fluff the nest today, laying low, regrouping for the big onslaught in the upcoming weeks.

959
Kristin November 25, 2011 at 2:30 pm

I went out and did a bit of shopping and plan to spend the rest of the day on the couch!

960
Susie C. November 25, 2011 at 2:34 pm

Didn’t go out into all the craziness…just stayed home, did some online shopping, relaxed with some hot tea and leftovers…great day indeed!

961
Amy Church November 25, 2011 at 2:34 pm

We went to the beautiful NC mountains to choose and cut our Christmas tree. We then had a nice lunch in downtown Boone. NO SHOPPING!!! Wonderful day! Now we are home and ready to decorate. ☺

962
Stephanie November 25, 2011 at 2:34 pm

I went out black friday shopping for the first time this year! I have avoided it like the plauge in years past! We picked up a few small things, nothing major. All in all it was rather entertaining :)

963
AnnieJ November 25, 2011 at 2:35 pm

I did participate in Black Friday. It’s 2 hours to the nearest shopping so we left at 8pm on Thursday to begin our time in the lines. Me and my daughter ended up in 2 different lines for 2+hours but we did get our electronics. I brought my kindle to help pass the time. Then we spent the remainder of the night shopping and it ended with breakfast at 7am and then 2 hours riding home. It was a great night and now we are estremely tired considering we have been up for more than 24 hours.

964
Erin L. November 25, 2011 at 2:37 pm

We were gonna go to kohls at midnight but decided to wait until this morning. We hit Kohls on our way out of town. We scored a Chaps wool jacket normally $275 for $84. As we just moved up from Florida to Georgia were going to need it. The line was wrapped around the store but went really quick. People were friendly no craziness. I’m glad we waited!

965
Betty F November 25, 2011 at 2:37 pm

Not going Black Friday shopping…too much of a hassle! :)

I’m not a black friday shopper and wish consumers would stop encouraging business owners to make such a big deal out of it. My mom works a 2nd job for a large retailer who opened their doors at midnight this year. We had to change our Thanksgiving plans to meet earlier in the day so she could try to force herself to “sleep” for a few hours in the evening so she could work a 10 hour shift beginning at midnight.

The best way to do Black Friday is from my trusty laptop! My hot item was a bike for our 3 year old – GOT IT ONLINE!! Love the internet! This cookware would be a nice “little something extra”. :)

Sonia November 25, 2011 at 2:39 pm

I go with my daughters every year. This year we couldn’t decide if it was better to go at midnight or wait til other stores were open. We ended up going at 4:00 – first to Macys where we got good deals on shoes and coats and some menswear gift items – then to Urban, AE, Bath&Body, Loft and Forever 21. All in all a good haul!!

Amanda November 25, 2011 at 2:40 pm

Went out for Black Friday and my most impressive purchase was a KitchenAid Stand Mixer!! Saved $170 instantly and got a $30 rebate to send in and $60 store bucks to spend later. Totally worth the lack of sleep!! =)

Chelsea November 25, 2011 at 2:40 pm

I didn’t get out with all the serious Black Friday shoppers, but I am thoroughly enjoying my vaca in the mountains with my family!

971
kristin November 25, 2011 at 2:41 pm

I didn’t go out shopping. Too many crazy shoppers out there that will fight tooth and nail for one thing. I was nice and cozy in my bed!

972
Shelley November 25, 2011 at 2:42 pm

Black Friday shopping freaks me out…I can’t think of anything I want bad enough to stand in line for hours in the middle of the night! So, naturally I slept in!!

973
Carolyn November 25, 2011 at 2:43 pm

I didn’t go Black Friday shopping myself, but I have family who did. I’ve never really understood the lure to stand in crazy lines and possibly be trampled. I would much rather stay at home and participate in ‘cyber Monday’. :)

974
Courtney C. November 25, 2011 at 2:43 pm

I did my black friday shopping mostly online. I wasnt looking for anything in particular just good deals in general! Although, I am in the market for new cookware : )

975
Linda Duncan November 25, 2011 at 2:43 pm

We didn’t go out to do Black Friday shopping. Happy Feet Two 3D seemed to call for us to attend instead. Love your blog!

976
Jan November 25, 2011 at 2:45 pm

New pots & pans or kettles, wow! A cooks dream

977
Jules November 25, 2011 at 2:46 pm

I avoid stores on Black Friday like the plague!!! Plus I value my life. I prefer to do on line shopping and have caught some great digi kits and electronic deals today. Am looking forward to Cyber Monday!!
Thanks for the opportunity to enter!!

978
Sheila C. November 25, 2011 at 2:47 pm

i’m staying home and cleaning the house and getting ready to decorate for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont like crowds, so i dont go shopping on black friday!!!!!!

979
Katie November 25, 2011 at 2:49 pm

We didn’t go for any Black Friday deals this year- we go for the online deals instead!
I would love to win this! Calphalon is the best!

980
Sarah F November 25, 2011 at 2:50 pm

I am not going to shopping… maybe monday to see if i get any left over deals.

981
Erin A November 25, 2011 at 2:50 pm

My sister-in-law stood in line for hours last night all in hopes of scoring a TV a great price…instead they sold out before she could get hers. She went home tired and empty handed. That is why I stay home!! Well, that and the fact that I’m still too stuffed with turkey to even imagine leaving the house at all.

982
Laurie November 25, 2011 at 2:52 pm

Sorry–no Black Friday shopping for me. Have always wanted to take advantage of the day off with family more than spending hours in lines to save $.

983
Sandy Stewart November 25, 2011 at 2:53 pm

After 40 years my pots and pans have become a mish-mash of unmatched pieces so having a new set of Calphalon would be a delight – but there is absolutely NOTHING and no price which would induce me into turning the end of a day of giving thanks for what I have into a frenzy of trying to grab more! It’s a BIG no on Black Friday shopping for me – especially now that it starts on Thanksgiving day!

984
Dawn Das November 25, 2011 at 2:55 pm

I stayed home this year and shopped online. Got some good deals too!

985
Mis November 25, 2011 at 2:55 pm

Love this! Would make a fantastic Christmas present. :) Having a low key Friday, loving more family time!

986
October November 25, 2011 at 2:55 pm

We did the extent of our Black Friday shopping online Thanksgiving afternoon. We picked up the Harry Potter series on Bluray for all of $70 (retail $140) and DH stopped by Best Buy today to pick it up. Did you know that the movies are going into the vault early next year? Pick them up NOW if you want them! Any additional shopping was curtailed due to some crud I picked up while on vacation.

987
Darnell Burrows November 25, 2011 at 3:01 pm

Well honestly, I’m not a “Black Friday Shopper”. I do love great deals though! I just can’t see myself waiting in lines, crowded stores, and wanting something that’s picked over that’s handled through many hands. I rather wait when the stores are just opened, cleaned, well stocked and smiling employees are glad that I’m there!

988
charissa November 25, 2011 at 3:03 pm

:( no black friday shopping today, my lil guy is sick.

989
Jessica Burley November 25, 2011 at 3:08 pm

I don’t normally go Black Friday shopping, it scares me. But this year, I’m spending Thanksgiving abroad, so I kind of miss the festivities!

990
Dana November 25, 2011 at 3:09 pm

Avoiding shopping like the plague! Resting from thanksgiving!

991
erin November 25, 2011 at 3:10 pm

I’m staying home with my 3 and 4 year old daughters. Shopping is hard enough on a regular day!

992
Samantha November 25, 2011 at 3:10 pm

No black Friday shopping here… Standing in lines at Disney World instead! :)

993
Becky S November 25, 2011 at 3:13 pm

Wow I love them. If I don’t win, I’m definitely looking into buying some. We didn’t go shopping today, but we might do a little tomorrow. I did buy a few things online though!

994
Jen November 25, 2011 at 3:13 pm

This looks like a fabulous set! Would love to have it in my kitchen. :)

995
Melody McCann November 25, 2011 at 3:13 pm

I will be spending quality time with my husband and 2 y/o son, Brycen…instead of fighting the crowds @ the stores!!! I absolutely love family time!!!

996
Trish November 25, 2011 at 3:14 pm

I scored 4 yards of the softest, prettiest faux fur for $24 at JoAnns! I’ll be using it to make beds for my menagerie. (2 dogs and 2 cats)

997
maren November 25, 2011 at 3:14 pm

No shopping for me! I’ve played with my young’uns then worked! Still recovering from being over-stuffed. :)

998
Anne Weber-Falk November 25, 2011 at 3:17 pm

Love the thought of Black Friday but won’t participate. I leave that to the husband and kids. They love it! I don’t think it’s the savings as much as the social part of it all. They wait in line with all these people and they talk, talk, talk. It’s a great time for them. That makes me happy.

999
Sara-Jayne November 25, 2011 at 3:17 pm

I got up and did some online shopping around 6am. It’s not really the same though, since I’m Canadian ;

1000
Sharon November 25, 2011 at 3:18 pm

I stopped by one store on the way home from giving blood. But it wasn’t for gifts but for a photo shoot.

1001
Urban Wife November 25, 2011 at 3:18 pm

What a gorgeous set! I especially love the bronze finish. We definitely need a new pan set!

Black Friday….hmm. I avoid even getting groceries this weekend because I hate all the massive crowds. Mostly, I’ll window-shop online and maybe buy a few things.

1002
Dee November 25, 2011 at 3:20 pm

I took advantage of Black Friday deals online! No crazy stores to walk through.

1003
Heather November 25, 2011 at 3:20 pm

Yes, I went shopping and got some decent deals. Nothing major, some video games, sheets, clothes, gifts, etc.

1004
Kerry LeWarne November 25, 2011 at 3:22 pm

I “did” black friday. This time I brought my two kids and niece. It started at 12:00 and didn’t end until 4! They had a great time! I would love these pots and pans – ugghhh – I NEED them. The pans I use are old. Have a wondeful holiday!

1005
Debbie November 25, 2011 at 3:22 pm

Hi Amanda,

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! My husband and I went Black Friday shopping a few years ago and we both said, “Never again!” But… guess where we were at just past midnight? Shopping. Unfortunately, the item we really wanted was already sold out… in just 15 minutes!! So, once again, we both said, “Never again!”

Thanks for the great giveaway! Enjoy the day!

Debbie

1009
Clarice November 25, 2011 at 3:25 pm

Staying home to shop online. Can’t take the crowded parking lots and the long lines in stores.

1010
Caroline T November 25, 2011 at 3:26 pm

I avoid black Friday like a kid avoids homework!! The crowds stress me out..

1011
Megan November 25, 2011 at 3:28 pm

I will be shopping on Black Friday in my pajamas in front of my computer!

1012
Colby November 25, 2011 at 3:28 pm

Oh, my heavens! Count me in!! I’m done with my shopping already, so no Black Friday for me today! But I am working today…ugh…and would rather be shopping!

1013
Sarah November 25, 2011 at 3:28 pm

Crazed shoppers scare me…I would rather stay home and cook soup for all my friends to come over and enjoy when they finish with the crowds!

1014
Sarah N November 25, 2011 at 3:29 pm

We didn’t get up (or stay up) at the crack of dawn to do shopping – but we did go out at about 9 a.m. We hit Academy Sports and scored some Life is Good t-shirts for my daughter for $3.41 a piece! Then we hit Kohl’s and got some towels for the guest bathroom. Now we are back at the in-laws watching LSU/Arkansas. Looking forward to heading home to Auburn tomorrow in time for my daughter to get to go tailgating! They will be in front of the library, right along College – if you make it down to the game!

1015
Brandee November 25, 2011 at 3:30 pm

I did not do any Black Friday shopping … I did day dream of Black Friday shopping! Oh how I would adore a brand new cook set! Good luck everyone!

1016
donna roberts November 25, 2011 at 3:32 pm

Crazy, I know, but I went out at midnight to 3 different stores and didn’t buy ANYTHING! Drove through McDonald’s at 2:00 am and headed home. Obviously, I NEED a new cookset so I don’t have to eat junk in the middle of the night! My second trip today was more successful.

1017
Michelle November 25, 2011 at 3:32 pm

I had to work today :( No Black Friday shopping for me. But I’m looking forward to Cyber Monday!

1018
Cathy November 25, 2011 at 3:34 pm

No shopping for me today. I love those pans!

1019
Jen G November 25, 2011 at 3:35 pm

Christmas is going to be on a tight budget this year, so no Black Friday shopping for me this year. I’m more of a Cyber Monday girl anyway, so it’s not much of a loss.

1020
Thomas November 25, 2011 at 3:35 pm

Heck no!

1021
Melissa Pero November 25, 2011 at 3:35 pm

No I had to work on Black Friday. I’m a nurse and I work nights. From 7pm to 7am. I also have to work tonight so I’ve been asleep.

1022
Summer November 25, 2011 at 3:38 pm

Shopping is awesome and fun, but I don’t know if I would like to shop on Black Friday because normally it would be really crowded and busy!

1023
Greg T November 25, 2011 at 3:38 pm

I’ve only done the BF thing a couple times in the past. The most recent was 2 years ago when I went to Walmart for a Cricut Expression on sale for $188. (at teh time they were still $300) Got there at 4:00 and went to where they were suppose to be and found out they were mistakenly released at midnight. So ended up buying one that Sat. at JoAnn’s on sale during regular business hours. Now I just stay at home. Nothing is needed that much.

1024
Nancy November 25, 2011 at 3:39 pm

I just shopped – online! No stores for me! I took advantage of the LLBean sale and now I’m shopping digi-scrapping! Woot! Thanks so much!

1025
Tami November 25, 2011 at 3:39 pm

We did end up going out about 9 for 1/2 off games and baby clothes. We could sure use some decent cooking wear!! Thanks for the giveaway!

1026
Anna November 25, 2011 at 3:40 pm

1027

I went to Michael’s last night and bought $40 worth of ribbon that was on sale for 60% off- now I have ribbon buyers remorse!!!

1028
Julie November 25, 2011 at 3:41 pm

No Black Friday shopping for me, but I am having a great day at home with my kids. I might even live a little and get the Christmas tree out early, which would shock the kids!

1029
Erin November 25, 2011 at 3:41 pm

I bought a couple items online, but I avoid stores like the plague :)

1030
Amanda November 25, 2011 at 3:41 pm

I’ve done Black Friday shopping but I don’t take it seriously…this year, we didn’t even go and I don’t feel like I missed anything. It’s fun but it tries your patience!!

1034
Jen R November 25, 2011 at 3:44 pm

This was the first year that I didn’t go out at 2 or 3am…Instead I waited until about 11am. It was a lot easier!

1035

Ashley @ Simply Designing November 25, 2011 at 3:48 pm

I did a little Black Friday shopping online. And I had a friend who went out and bought something that I wanted for me! So I avoided the crowds but still managed to score a few great deals! However, I would still LOVE to win this cooking pots and pans set! I have one of their pots and am in love with it, but I definitely could use a beautiful set like this! Thanks so much for the chance to win!

My idea of Black Friday is getting info weeks before and figuring out if I’m up at midnight in my pj’s ready to pounce on the computer. I’d rather do that than get up early to go out on a line for the store to open up.

1054
Kate November 25, 2011 at 4:07 pm
