Pick Me Pick Me Pick Me :)
I did enjoy Black Friday this year. I was able to get a couple of Christmas gifts for my daughter. Everyone was very friendly and wishing me Merry Christmas. It was great and a fun experience!!!!
I avoid crowded shopping venues at any time of the year, so Black Friday is a big NO for me! And, for the first time in our marriage, DH is staying home this year, too. (The midnight openings annoyed him enough to keep him away.) :)
No I am not going shopping! It’s too crazy for me! :)
I just bought my first ever Kitchenaid mixer online with a sweet, sweet deal from Kohl’s. I have three boys and the last straw was when one of them threw the beater to my cheapo mixer in the trash. I think it will inspire me to be excited about meal planning and cooking/baking.
I don’t do Black Friday. I don’t like to shop. And I don’t like the cold (so waiting in the freezing cold to get into a store.) I also don’t really like the crowds. I prefer to spend a little more and buy online. Then I can stay home in my pajamas and snuggle with my kiddos!
I did Black Friday shopping for the first time. I was at Best Buy in the cold for hours, but it ended up working really well. I’m glad it was calm enough at this location.
I need new pans. My pans are old and scratched. I am going to Wal-mart right now to see if I can get a computer for the 12 am black friday sale. It will probably be a zoo.
I avoid Black Friday shopping in stores. I do hunt for deals online though! Im currently trying to track (and score) the Wii $99 bundle!
I hope this is open to Canadian residents!? Awesome! I went Black Friday shopping 4 years ago. We crossed the border and made a weekend of it. So much fun!
I haven’t really been out on Black Friday but do try to get in on the Cyber deals. I have been coveting Calphalon pans for a year now so this give away is super awesome!
I’m passing on BF shopping this year in favor of sleep! But I’ll be doing some online.
I just stood in line at Walmart for 2 hours to get pajamas and milk. Never again…
Totally avoiding any and all hellacious mall experiences by sourcing all of my Christmas gifts from the artisans and craftspeople at etsy.com :) :)
I am not a fan of Black Friday. Normally I have my shopping already done, and the hype terrifies me. Although, this year I have seriously considered heading to Macy’s in the am for a planned flashmob. A teenager in our community is living with cancer that is most likely going to take her life, and one of the items on her Bucket List is to be part of a singing flashmob. Maaaay just have to pop over to the mall at 5am to support her, but not to buy anything!
No Black Friday shopping for this gal, I’m usually still hungover on turkey, pie and everything else from the Thanksgiving table!
my husband just called me that he got the TV he wanted and now seems like the check out line will be another hour AT LEAST!.
– dalis
I avoid Black Friday like the plague because I don’t want to get knocked over. lol
I stay in and shop the online deal! Thanks for the giveaway!! EXCITING!
Nope, didn’t go shopping tonight. I’ve gone twice, once when the stores were first opening and once later in the day. Not my thing. Way too crazy!
Probably not! Ahh but if we do, I’m eyeing for a stand mixture for baking! Haha I woke up pretty late today, 10 AM when it’s usually 8 :P
Since I’m in Japan for Thanksgiving, no Black Friday, but I’m waiting for some great deals on cyber Monday! Hope I’m not disappointed!!
I’m planning doing some shopping. I’m going to Michael’s and Joann’s. I love cheap craft supplies!
Wild horses could not drag me out for black Friday sales. Online shopping is the way to go!
It’s 12:50 and I’ve already been out & got all my shopping done! YES!!
Well, I don’t do the go-shopping-at-ungodly-hours thing. But I will go shopping with my family tomorrow at 10 am. I just bought a new iphone online! I’ve never had a smartphone before, so i am excited! And… I LOVE calphalon!!
Dear Random.org: Pick me, pick me!
I love the feeling of the hustle and bustle and the smiles on everyone’s faces so I will be going out. I’m not going to sleep will be leaving out in about an hour. Looking for gifts for the family and maybe a new laptop for myself.
I used to love black Friday, but now I really just want to enjoy my Christmas shopping. I do not get up early to go shopping, I instead, head out at the time most people take a break for breakfast! Try and avoid the rush at all cost!!
Im at Target in a mile long line and need a happy! New pots would be the ticket!
Yes!!! Love black Friday shopping been out to Target deals some wii games and movies… Thanks for the giveaway :0)
Black Friday & I have a love/hate relationship. I love the deals, hate the craziness. :) I hit Walmart to get a few things & that was it for me. I decided online shopping is the way to go!
Keeping my fingers crossed!!!
It’s been a family tradition since I was a child…but not near as crazy as this year. We’re home for a short break before heading back out.
I shop online – black friday is online too. No lines and no cold
I would so love to win – -!! I didn’t get to go and do the Black Friday shopping, I work in a medical office and have to be working early a.m.!
I LOVE Black Friday. It gives me a chance to shop all day and night for Xmas gifts. I usually knock out about 50% of my gifts when I come. Even though the deals are sometimes not the best… You are still saving a few bucks!!! :D and I love to save moneeeeyyyy. The first store I went to at 4:00pm before thanksgiving dinner was michaels. I did DAMAGE! Let’s not even talk about what’s coming up. It’s already 3:00am and I’m in my 3rd store.
One of these years I’m going to go shopping on Black Friday but it won’t be this year. I’m opting for Cyber Monday. :)
Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
I plan to do a little black Friday shopping, I am not getting up extra early though, hope I find some good deals. Thanks for the chance to win Joy
What a fantastic set of pots and pans! WRT Black Friday, I have no plans to brave the shopping throngs in the flesh, but just placed an online order for a new cell phone and some upscale cosmetics. I didn’t seek these goodies out but the email updates were too tempting to overlook – much like the Kevin & Amanda notice!!! Please pick me!
I’m not going Black Friday shopping. I never got to look at the ads with all of the cooking/cleaning I did for Turkey Day. I also haven’t decided what is on my “gift list” yet. we might go to a huge craft fair in a nearby city, or else, I will just lounge around and perhaps do some online shopping.
I love black Friday shopping with my mother-in-law. It’s become a tradition and even if we don’t by much, I just love getting out to the stores. It really gets me in the holiday spirit! Love this giveaway. The bronze color of this set is gorgeous! Thanks
No black friday for me but I will go shopping later on in the day.
I need a new coffee pot so I will check out Costco in the late
afternoon.
I do not shop on Black Friday. Too many people!
Well, one thing i wanna say is that i love the hustle bustle of the shops and streets!
I will do some online shopping for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and I will probably go to the craft store…but NO malls!
I am breaking a family tradition this year. My sisters and I have always shopped Black Friday, mainly for the thrill of the deal. This year is different – I am struggling with putting food on the table and gas in the tank that me and my 4 girls have decided to change our view of what we want Christmas to be like this year.
Not going out as a shopper, but as a shoppers helper! I’ll be loading sacks of concrete in your stocking at the local Home Depot! Hope you and Kevin have a wonderful holiday :~}
I do most of my Christmas shopping online and try to avoid the stores at all costs. It gets too crazy out there for me.
I don’t think I’ll be doing Black Friday this year, but I’m all for Cyber Monday deals! This pot set would be great.
We’re avoiding Black Friday shopping this year. Did a little online shopping, and planning on keeping it local this year and supporting Small Business Saturday.
I’m not going shopping for Black Friday, but I might find some deals online! I guess that counts ;).
We went to some outlets at midnight. We never went to sleep but left around 3 and are headed to bed. It was extremely crowded! Especially the coach and Nike store those were ridiculous! We ended up walking away with a good amount of stuff and some good clothing buys for my son. It was an experience!
I used to be a huge fan of Black Friday but after several years of it, I quit – cold turkey. Nowadays, I don’t think the deals are always worth the hassle or my time.
Thanks for asking!
Black Friday shopping has become a tradition of mine! I stand outside of the shops thinking “these people are insane” then I realize I am one of them ;) I love the craziness! Ive been up since 6 am and still going strong at 3:15am! Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving!
‘Seems to me like a good day to stay home and shop the internet!
Every year it’s a sister tradition
I actually went out tonight, and did a little damage. But I am home now!!!
I never shop on Black Friday as I don’t like crowds. My husband however, gets up early and goes to specific stores for certain BF deals. I’ve been surfing to see if anyone has Calphalon BF deals as my cookware is peeling and needs replacing asap!
No black Friday shopping for me!!! But my pots and pans need replacing and these are beautiful! Love the color! They are sure to inspire some amazing family cooking!
Just bought my first kitchen aid mixer! Cant wait to make all your yummy recipes with it!
LOVE Black Friday shopping. Love the crowds, love the bargains, love the getting up early, love the hustle and bustle! Always go with a friend or sister and usually go with a list!
I have always thought that black Friday shoppers were insane… until lately. I love being able to snatch great deals. It is so exciting!
We usually go out Black Friday shopping but it started too early this year and I didn’t want it to interfere with our Thanksgiving celebration! I’m trying to do my shopping online but it’s frustrating because the websites are having issues from so much traffic!!
I did Black Friday shopping a couple years ago and swore I’d never do it again. I do love the cyber deals though!!
I just spent my Black Friday shopping in the comfort of my own home by shopping online! QUESTION? Does anyone remember a time before the internet? ; )
Oh My…LOL! It’s online Black Friday shopping for me Amanda – Stores and Shops (Etsy and Everywhere Else) are having fabulous sales – I am supporting small businesses and avoiding stress, in many cases, finding unique, one of a kind gifts for my family. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I would love to win this set of cookware for my darling husband – He loves to cook for me, but our pans…Well, pretty sad right now. Still, he creates masterpieces using them. Smiles…
I Hope Your Thanksgiving Was Filled With Joy and Laughter!
Hugs From Laurie
I dont think the deals are good enough to take the risk of being trampled so I will do some cyber Monday shopping since most of my stuff has to be sent out anyway. Happy thanksgiving!
As we speak, it is 12:32 in California. My husband has been gone for 2 hours shopping – for shoes no less. I love shopping in cyberspace in PJ’s and have already done so twice! Cookware is on my list this year….Santa I have been very, very GOOD!
Oh I hate shopping among crowds of people! I avoid it like the plague! I prefer to shop on Cyber Monday where I don’t have to deal with crowds of people. :)
I hope this is open to Australia residents!!!
I am married to an American, though we currently live in Australia – the only form of block friday shopping we do is online through Amazon black friday deals.
I am hoping to get up around 5…maybe and go to the Apple Store and get myself a laptop. Mine is on the brink of disaster!
I prefer cyber Monday, but I ventured out this evening for some birthday presents. Not too bad. A total of 1 1/2 hours in and out.
We always go around 5 am, but this year we tried the midnight thing, what a joke, you could not even get into a parking lot. The stores that did this were just insanely busy. Not fun. I like the getting up early and going, just have fun, look and maybe buy something fun. Then it’s out to breakfast!
I so need a new set! I hope I’m lucky and win!!!
Sometimes I go, but this year I didn’t.
I went out at 10pm, and got quite a few dvds. It was actually my first experience with BF Shopping!
No black Friday for me! But I love to look at the ads that come in the paper!
One of the first years I haven’t headed out to shop in the wee hours of the morning. I always find some great deals. This year I did some online shopping and seemed to fair just as well without the crazy lines. Still feels like I’m missing out…
We went, we saw, we shopped, I’m pooped. The end. :)
Avoid it like the plague! But only since I’ve had kids, I used to camp out too!
I’m staying home to do my school work!
Well, we do not really know the phenomena of black friday, but i would try it out, must be fun to know there are great bargains to get.
Perhaps it will come to Belgium as well and them i will be able to really comment on the subject.
Have great fun with your black friday!!
Culinary greetings,
Annick
I’m up now getting ready to head out and find some deals! Thank you for the giveaway!
I’m definitely not going out during black Friday! I’ve never been out to shop, just to work. It is very tempting, though, when you live in a biggish city like Portland!
We did most of our Black Friday shopping online. I would have loved to go out, but we didn’t have a sitter. The husband is sitting at the store on base right now hoping to snag an Xbox & some special edition Nintendo DS. I’m at home in my pjs stalking the Amazon deals :)
Hit up Old Navy for the free underwater camera and scored!
I am going for the first time ever!! I cant wait. I know it will be crazy but my husband wants a new TV so I have my eye on one.
We started our shopping at midnight :)
I have been a Black Friday shopper for 8 years or so. It is now 3:17AM and I just got home from going to Target. I got there at 10:30PM Thurs night and stood in line for and hour and a half only to get thru the doors @ 12:05 and ALL the 40″ TVs were gone:( Then I stood in the electronics line for 2 and a half hours to get my daughter an iPod Touch. (The things we do for our kids.)
I came home to check emails and found this…..maybe I’ll win a much needed cookware set. Who needs a 40″ TV anyways?!
I braved the lines and slightly cold weather to go to best buy and wal mart with my boyfriend’s sisters. They got the TV that they were looking for and I picked up a couple stocking stuffers for the boyfriend.
This year there is no extra money for big shopping except for necessities such as a new bed as we just bought a new home and it needs everything. I will be getting up at 8 to buy the bed and then home for leftovers! love to add those beautiful pot and pans to my beautiful mocha kitchen!
I avoid Black Friday shopping at all costs. Early in the morning and throughout the day! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
I never do shopping on Black Friday – there are enough days of the year left ;)
I did most of my shopping online when I was fat from eating thanksgiving dinner! Do need to do a quick run to one store and that is all for today.
I avoid it like the plague!! :-) Crazy crowds.
It is 4:30 now and I am on my way out now to try to girls each a Nook. Wish me Black Friday Luck!
I do not shop for black Friday. I did one year and do not want to do it any more.
I love black Friday! My daughter is moving into her apartment so we’re on the hunt for kitchen and bath items this year.
I USED to do black friday every year and get up early and fight the crowds. I would charge and max my cc to just pay for it all year and not save anything. I now do not have one credit card and do not fight the crowds. I save and shop with cash or debit and do not join in all the chaos of black friday. I am glad for those who enjoy it and can take part…. just not my thing anymore. We are all not exchanging gifts this year. No money this year …. but not a problem, We give all year long…..
Love Black Friday shopping! Kicks off the holidays for me Thanksgiving, black friday shopping, and saturday decorate. I will be out for the video games electronics, and dvds that are on the wish list of my male dominated home and if I find a few things for myself while I am out. Love the Bargin even the hoards of people cannot keep me away. Bargins have me up at 3:00 am for online deals.
I might as well be out shopping seeing as how I’ve been up since 3:30 this morning but no, I’m not a black Friday consumer. Cyber Monday? Now that’s right up my alley. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.
I don’t go out to the stores for Black Friday – I do all my shopping online. =)
