Birthday Week Giveaway #5! Win a Kitchenaid 7-qt mixer for you AND your BFF! (Winner Announced!)

Time’s up!

The winner of the two Kitchenaid Mixers is…

#1111 Tatum: “Oh my heavens! AMAZING!!! I would make cupcakes and cookies! I love to bake and would be so thrilled to win these. How exciting would it be to share this prize with my BFF?! Thank you!”

Congrats Tatum! I’ll be sending you an email shortly. So excited for your and your BFF!

It’s here! Today is the TEN year anniversary of kevinandamanda.com. Thanks so much for celebrating our 10th blogging birthday with us this week!

I’ve got such a fun giveaway from Kitchenaid today to celebrate our big milestone!! It wouldn’t be a birthday without presents right?? :) How would you like to win a brand new 7-qt. Kitchenaid Mixer for you AND your BFF?? You read that right — one ultimate grand prize winner will win not one, but two Kitchenaid mixers. One to keep and one to give to a friend!!

Make sure your BFF enters for double your chance to win! ;)

I love the new 7-qt mixer, especially the new design of the whisk attachment! The oblong shape reaches every surface of the bowl for perfectly fluffy, whipped batters and doughs, and less scraping down the sides.

How to Enter

One grand prize winner will win two (2) 7-qt. Kitchenaid Bowl Lift Stand Mixers, in the color of your choice (red, black, or silver). Should you win, we will gladly either ship both mixers to you, or ship one to you and the other to directly to your friend.

To enter, simply answer the following question in the comments section of this post. What’s the first thing you’d make in your new Kitchenaid?

Contest ends Saturday, March 24 at 8 pm CST. One entry per person, please. Winner will be chosen by Random.org and notified by email. Giveaway graciously provided by Kitchenaid.

New giveaways every day this week in honor of Birthday Week!

To make sure you don’t miss a second of all the fun festivities going on this week, subscribe to Kevin & Amanda updates by Email or RSS. You can also get updates on Facebook and Twitter.

Good luck, and thanks for celebrating with us!! :)

Oh. My. Word. I’ve been wanting a KitchenAid mixer forEVER! And cherry red? LOVE!!! The first thing I’d make? Well, it’s very appropriate for this one. My BFF and I make a pie recipe every year around the holidays. It’s by far the best dessert recipe I’ve ever gotten my hands on, but it’s complicated, and it makes six pies at once, so we always make it together to make it a bit easier, and because neither one of us can be trusted with six of those babies in our houses. :) One of the layers of the pie has to be whipped for twenty minutes, so we usually borrow a stand mixer from someone when we make it. This would be SO perfect for us. Seriously, I’m tearing up just thinking about it!

Oh, I would make Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies. Totally basic, but melt in your mouth goodness. We are talking straight to your thigh, sit in your belly divinity.

My best friend and neighbor needs a new mixer so badly. She even borrowed my Kitchen-Aide and hasn’t returned it for two weeks because she loves it so much. So now I need one too.

Please, oh please, oh please pick me. Howie thinks you should pick me too!!! And you know how he is…he always get’s his way. ;)

For me it’s simple….bread. Not just any bread but my great grandmother’s “dinner” bread as we call it. It’s our family recipe for bread at dinner with butter. It’s been a staple in my house all my life but making it in a mixer would allow for me to make more of it at one time and to pass the love around :)
