Time’s up!
The winner of the LG Stainless Steel Double Oven has been chosen and notified. We are just waiting for them to be officially confirmed, I will announce the winner as soon as I can! :) Thanks so much for participating!
Today, my days are still mixed up from the long weekend, but I’m so glad it’s Friday, and I’m so thrilled to share this giveaway with you! I’ve got a brand new, stainless steel double oven range from LG to give away.
One Kevin & Amanda winner will receive their choice of either a Stainless Steel Electric Double Oven Range ($1699 value) or the Stainless Steel Gas Double Oven Range ($1899 value). Yes, it’s true!
Here’s a look at the Freestanding Stainless Steel Electric Double Oven Range.
- 6.7 cu. ft. Total Oven Capacity
(2.3 cu. ft. / 4.4 cu. ft.) - Tallest Upper Oven (6″)
- InfraGrill™ Broiler (Upper Oven)
LG’s first infrared heating element gets your oven to broil temperature more quickly and cuts 30% off your cooking time on common items like hamburgers and chicken breasts. Infrared cooking – which uses the same technology as premium outdoor grills – also allows your food to be juicier than traditional thermal cooking. - True Convection System (Lower Oven)
– Convection Bake
– Convection Roast - 5 Radiant Cooktops with Warming Zone
It’s also got a “proof” setting for baking bread, and a “keep warm” setting for holding food warm while everything else gets ready. Love these extra features.
The smooth cooktop on the electric range is durable and super easy to keep clean. So far I’ve only had to use hot water and a dish rag. At first I was worried about scratching a smooth cooktop — I’m shaking my pans around constantly. But this cooktop feels durable and so far there’s not a scratch on it. And I’m in love with this beautiful bright blue interior!
The electric double oven comes in stainless steel as well as black or white — the winner may pick their color. The Gas oven comes in Stainless Steel.
And here’s the Freestanding Stainless Steel Gas Double Oven Range.
- 6.1 cu. ft. Total Oven Capacity
(2.2 cu. ft. / 3.9 cu. ft.) - Convection Conversion
- Convection Bake
- Convection Roast
- 5 Sealed Gas Cooktop Burners
- Premium Stainless Steel Finish
- Brilliant Blue Interior
- SuperBoil™ Burner
Spend less time waiting and more time cooking. The powerful Superboil™ 17,000 BTU Burner brings water and other liquids to a boil quickly.
The winner may pick their choice of gas or electric, and you can visit the links above for more information on each range.

I would make my husband’s very favorite… french onion soup!
Chocalate chip cookies!
One of my fondest memories of growing up is baking with my grandmother- she was famous for two things, her fudge and cheesecake. It was seen as a huge compliment if she asked you to be her baking partner- especially for the cheesecake. It was a delicate process that allowed for no jumping, twirling, running… all the things an 8 year old me did. When my grandmother died, we thought the recipe had died with her. Just recently, almost 15 years later, my brother found a notecard in my grandmother’s handwriting… THE RECIPE! I have been given the recipe (since I was the only one who has actually “made” the cake) but I am afraid of my oven cooking it too uneven. So my first use for the oven? The most amazing cheesecake, literally sent from heaven.
I would bake a strawberry/apple crisp and ribs in the oven!
What would I cook? Oh that’s easy! A huge delicious New York cheesecake for my family! Mmmmm!

When we had a convection oven many moons ago, the pies were so perfectly golden that I would love to have that option again. Have a blessed day.
The first thing I would bake is my mom’s rhubarb dessert. It’s been my favorite since I was a little girl (a long time)!!!
I would make the most delicious maple and citrus salmon!!!
What couldn’t I make in this oven??? It is AWESOME! I would probably make homemade sticky buns for breakfast, delicious ham sandwiches for lunch, peach and raspberry crisp for dessert that night and my 11 year olds favorite meal of roast, potatoes and carrots. Man, I am hungry just thinking about all that.
OMG!!! What a great giveaway! Chocolate Chip Cookies would be the first thing I bake in this oven.

I would make a loaf of bread in one oven and dinner in the other. I like to serve rolls or garlic bread with certain meal, but my single oven usually throws a kink in my plans.

Awesome giveaway and I so love my LG washer so I think I would love this double oven and how great it would be to have two ovens. I would make a cheesecake my family’s favorite. I am also going to try your pralines soon they are my favorite candy too!
Oh how I need this giveaway!!! My oven is on the way out!! The broiler doesn’t work, the burners aren’t putting out enough heat, etc. It is over 20 years old and has served me well. Since my husband’s job was eliminated 2 years ago, extra stuff has been eliminated from our budget. If I won, I would make an extra special cake to celebrate and then broil some steaks since we haven’t been able to broil anything for awhile. Oh Random Generator, please, please please, see past your randomness and pick me.
Amazing! I got a “new to me oven” over a year ago, and was just thrilled that it had a timer and oven light, I wouldn’t know where to start with this one…maybe just stare at how pretty it is. I would make sweet corn bread (have to when you live in the south).

Just gorgeous! I’d love to use the split ovens to make pumpkin bread in July to not heat up my house as much as a standard oven!
WOW!! What an amazing givewaway!!
The viewing glass in my oven broke a while ago so cooking anything in this would be wonderful. Since it is grilling season right now, I’d probably bake something. I have some over ripe bananas on the counter so a warm banana bread with lots of walnuts or some ooey, gooey chocolate chip cookies. YUM. Now I want something sweet…..
Thanks for the opportunity!!
I woud make a pork roast. My oven right now is horrible and takes almost double the time it should to cook something. This would be amazing to win!
