Hey guys!! First of all, I want to say thank you SO MUCH to each and every one of you for your sweet comments on my last post!! I did some updating to the comments section to make it more fun. :D You know how I usually have some kind of graphic, like a button or flower or something by your name when you comment? Well, I still have that, but now you can have your own picture there instead!! :) Have you heard of Gravatar? Basically, you just go to this site, enter in your email address, upload a picture and from then on, whenever you post on a blog that has Gravatars enabled, and you use that same email address, your picture will show up by your name. Like an avatar on a message board! Pretty cool!
After I updated to support Gravatars, I went back and read through some past comments, and I can now see pics from those of you who already have gravatars. I love the personal touch it gives! :) So if you don’t have one yet, head on over there and try it out! You can come back and post here to test out your new pic! Maybe I should make this my new Gravatar… It’s a new pic from this afternoon…

Well, have ya seen the cover of the new April 2009 issue of Creating Keepsakes yet? :D
Yep, that’s her! The pic that I took! :D It was *crazy* how it happened! Brian, the editor in chief of Creating Keepsakes Magazine was surfing my blog!! :) First he found the free fonts and wanted to mention them in his “Top 5 Cool Things” article… Then he saw the picture of Amerie and wanted to use it on the cover! I said “OF COURSE!!!”. :)
I’ve been stalking the periodicals aisle of Barnes & Noble for weeks now (and I’ve gained 5 lbs from all the extra mochas I’ve been drinking), but last night after church I wandered in, fully expecting them *not* to have it… And there it was! :) It was down on the bottom shelf, so of course I had to move a couple up to eye level. ;) Sorry B&N employees, that was me. :D
Boy, I need a tan! If you flip a few pages to the table of contents they have the pic again, along with the photo credit.

In other news, this weekend we were down in Auburn to visit my parents and go to the football game. Auburn’s a great place to update our family pictures because my dad can take the pictures, my mom can get the dogs to look at the camera, and the woods around their new house make a very nice background! :)

Hey friends! WOW! First of all, WOW! Thank you so much for all the comments!! Yay!! It was so fun hearing from all of you!! I looooooooved checking out all your blogs and now I have a whole slew of new blogs that I must stalk every day for updates!
So! Now that I’ve heard from all of you… Is there anything ya’ll want to know about me? Or us?? I’ve been thinking about making up a FAQ / About Us page… but I’ve been putting it off for so long cause I just don’t know what to say. LOL. I see all those blog surveys that get passed around, and I start to fill them out, and I’m like, okay, honestly, who wants to know what color socks I’m wearing today?? Really? lol.
So what do ya’ll *really* want to know? I get emails from time to time, so I have a couple of ideas of where to start… but anything’s fair game, so if you wanna know, go ahead and ask it here! I’ll work on the page and get back with you in a couple days. ;)

Hello friends! :) What’cha doin here? :) I’m dying to know! :) In just 4 short months the number of readers who have subscribed to my blog has DOUBLED, going from 300 to, as of today, 620 subscribers!!! That means everytime I update my webpage 620 of you want to know about it!! How cool is that?? :)
I am so curious how word has spread so fast! :) I’ve always had a little “subscribe” box on my webpage, but it’s never seen this much action! So come on, step on out of lurkdom… Leave me a comment and tell me a little bit about yourself! :D Think we can get over 500 comments to this post?? Haha!
